'I'd Be Shocked if the President Vetoed Bank Corporate Tax Hike'
"I would personally be shocked if the President vetoed the changes to the corporate income tax for the banking sector, which currently has very high profits," said Andrzej Domański at a press conference at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
"I would just like to remind you that this bill is composed of two components, because, on the one hand, we are significantly raising the corporate income tax for banks for 2026 and 2027, and then, in the interest of lending activity, to make loans significantly more accessible for Polish families, we are also changing certain components related to the tax on certain financial institutions," he continued.
