Szłapka on the Government-President Dispute: Unfortunately, the President's Circle or the President Himself Decided that Politics Must Prevail

- I don't like the dispute we are witnessing. Of course, these are things that are completely normal in politics in a democracy, especially when you have such a constitutional system as ours, which includes cohabitation. It can be difficult, even if the president and prime minister are from the same camp, but there are certain matters that should be excluded from this political dispute. This concerns security, foreign affairs, but also the observance of constitutional principles and the rule of law. - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference.

- We all had the impression, and I think the Prime Minister and the government side expressed this, when dangerous events occurred from our point of view, when Russian drones entered our airspace. At that time, it seemed that cooperation on these most important matters could be established. Unfortunately, the President's circle, or the President himself, decided that politics must prevail here. First, we had information that some information was allegedly not delivered to the National Security Bureau (BBN); all of it was delivered, and today we see how much of a mess there is within the BBN in this regard. - Adam Szłapka continued to say.
