- You know, the President [Andrzej Duda] and I know each other because our joint supervisor, under whom we wrote our master's theses, was a professor at Jagiellonian University. You've seen what his opinion of the President is today; you can ask him what his opinion of me is, I won't advertise myself - Waldemar Żurek said on "Gość Radia ZET".
- Some of the head of state's actions are unbecoming of the seriousness of that office.
