Prime Minister Donald Tusk will be visiting the Pomeranian Voivodeship. He will participate in a briefing with the Naval Command staff and visit the Baltic Towers offshore wind turbine tower production plant.

The briefing at the Maritime Operations Centre in Gdynia – scheduled for 9:40 AM – is related to an incident involving a Russian "shadow fleet" vessel in the Baltic Sea. The ship performed suspicious maneuvers near an energy cable connecting Poland with Sweden. At 11:15 AM, the head of government will visit the Baltic Towers offshore wind turbine tower production plant. A meeting between Prime Minister Tusk and the media is planned for 11:25 AM.

KO candidate Rafał Trzaskowski will be in the Małopolska region today. At 4:00 PM in Nieciecza, he will meet with farmers. Afterwards, he will travel to Tarnów, where his rally will begin at 5:30 PM.

Meanwhile, PiS-backed Karol Nawrocki will hold a press conference at 11:00 AM in Koneck. From there, he will travel to Toruń – where Sławomir Mentzen lives – for a scheduled conversation on Mentzen's YouTube channel at 1:00 PM. Afterwards, Nawrocki will go to Sochaczew, where a meeting will commence at 5:00 PM.

At 11:00 AM, a press conference will take place in front of the Ministry of Justice headquarters with PiS MPs Andrzej Śliwka and Paweł Jabłoński.

– Yes, we received an SMS yesterday, before Mr. Trzaskowski spoke to the media, informing us that he was extending an invitation. Yes, that he was inviting us and counting on our presence. So that has been the extent of the contact so far. As for direct contact from Rafał Trzaskowski, yes, that was it. My impression is that the Sejm session has just concluded. The ruling coalition also had an opportunity to demonstrate, not just with words – because both candidates operate in a 'what does it hurt to promise' mode – but with actions, that the demands important to us have a chance of being fulfilled – stated Maciej Konieczny on TVN24's "Piasecki's Talk".

– That happened yesterday evening, and I wouldn't want to get ahead of myself. I am personally skeptical, because once again, MP Witek put it most aptly: what does it hurt to promise? We will go to a meeting, whether with Nawrocki or Trzaskowski. They will promise us everything, and what are we supposed to do then, say: 'I don't believe you at all'? Or take it at face value? – he continued.

– I can imagine a situation where the Sejm meets once again next week and, for example, Kukucki's housing bill – modest as it is, far from our expectations – passes. That would be a step, a clear signal to our voters: listen, we take you seriously, we see the problems you're talking about, and we intend to address them, not just make promises – stated Maciej Konieczny on TVN24's "Piasecki's Conversation".

– _I think the situation is dynamic. Quite frankly – our voters are not particularly fond of Rafał Trzaskowski, and certainly even less so of Karol Nawrocki. And they can, of course, steel themselves, go to these elections and vote for Trzaskowski, considering that Nawrocki or PiS is the worse option, but I also have the feeling that the scolding from liberal media that they are hearing now tends to discourage them rather than encourage them, and there are many such articles about democracy being in need here, and how these treacherous, completely unwise Razem voters don't want to rush to enthusiastically vote for Trzaskowski – stated Maciej Konieczny in “Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24._

– There is also a willingness to meet [from Karol Nawrocki's side]. If we were to meet, it would be with both of them, but I very much doubt it. – I think such a meeting would only make sense if we met with both candidates. Personally, I think that in a situation where both of them promise us everything, it's completely pointless – he continued.

Because we defend sovereignty, traditional values, and the rejection of misguided EU policies, whereas Trzaskowski stands for the opposite on all these – said Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info's 'Gość Poranka' (Morning Guest).

– However, maintaining credibility with our voters and keeping our distance not only from Trzaskowski, Civic Platform (PO), and The Left (Lewica), but also from Law and Justice (PiS), is an important goal for us, because we are not part of either the Law and Justice camp or the Civic Platform camp, and we will not allow ourselves to be manipulated – he pointed out.

– I am speaking only for myself when I make a declaration about going to the polls and voting against Rafał Trzaskowski. This is because each of Sławomir Mentzen's 3 million voters [...] will make their own decision, guided by their conscience – said Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info's "Morning Guest."

– It's not the case that if I, or Mentzen, or anyone from Konfederacja says something, everyone will automatically behave in the same way. We respect the intelligence of our voters – he added.

– With Lech Kaczyński, shoulder to shoulder, at the NATO summit in Bucharest, we fought for a NATO membership plan for Ukraine. Similarly, with President Duda, at the summit in Washington, we fought for the strongest possible provisions favouring Ukraine's future in NATO, as well as in the European Union. But here I don't see any enthusiasm – said Radosław Sikorski on PR1.

– It is Russia that constantly feeds an anti-Ukrainian narrative. We cannot change the past, but either we want Russian troops fighting in Donbas, or we want them on the border at Medyka, and if Karol Nawrocki doesn't understand this, he shouldn't be president – he continued.

– It was Jarosław Kaczyński who wanted to send NATO troops, including Polish ones, to Ukraine, while General Kellogg said that a group of states, in his opinion, should send them. – I hope that Rafał Trzaskowski will correct the various nonsense that the far-right spreads about the European Union. – Pressure is so important. What we are focusing on, especially Poland within this format together with the commission, is the preparation of a potential sanctions package against Russia, a tough new sanctions package, because experience tells us that without very strong pressure, Putin will not engage in serious peace talks – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing during his visit to Baltic Towers.

I recently met a voter who said: 'We are just doing normal business, earning financial resources, and like others, we can operate in the free market and make a living from it.' I truly consider this my success, the success of those meetings I had at the White House; they lasted 7 hours, and at the very end, there was a meeting with President Donald Trump. – And weren't you motivated by the thought that it would help your campaign? – Mentzen pressed.

– I didn't think about that. It's obvious to me that the president will be chosen by the Polish people – Nawrocki replied.

– This will be a very important gesture for our voters – stated Sławomir Mentzen during a conversation with Karol Nawrocki on YouTube.

– Okay. […] So let's agree before the viewers that we are also against the Green Deal and the EU-Mercosur agreement – replied Nawrocki.

Subsequently, the PiS-backed candidate signed the eight-point declaration handed to him by Mentzen.

– The Toruń declaration has been signed by the first candidate. I sincerely thank you very much for this; these points are very important for my voters. I am convinced that my voters will appreciate it – commented the Confederation politician.

– I am doing this from the heart and because our programs, as we see, converged on at least several points – added Nawrocki.

– I genuinely appreciate the PiS governments in terms of social policy, in the areas we likely observed together during our election campaigns – stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.

– The change over eight years of United Right rule was also noticeable, so I wouldn't want you, doctor, and you, our viewers, to get the impression that we are critical, or that I am critical, of those eight years. No, absolutely not; that party performed much better than Donald Tusk is performing today – he continued.

– No, no, absolutely [I didn't have 120,000 zlotys in free funds as a young official]. Yes, it is in accordance with the law that the parties [...] declaring agree upon the possibility and the entire process of transferring these financial funds – said Karol Nawrocki in a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube, when asked about a notarial deed which stated that he had paid the entire amount for the apartment, but in reality, that was not the case.

– That man never questioned after 2011 that I paid him all the funds. But the fact that I didn't hand him, an alcoholic – he has recovered from alcoholism, and I am very happy about that too, I consider it a small success of my own – 120,000 zlotys in detention, which I didn't even have at the time, seems quite natural – he continued.

– Consider the level of trust involved with this man, that he had previously received tens of thousands of zlotys – or we'd have to calculate the exact amount – to be able to buy out this apartment, to be able to pay off his debts – he went on.

– Dear voters, on June 1st, you will make a very important decision. I guarantee a sovereign Poland, a safe Poland. Even on matters we disagree on, the future of the Polish state will be, I believe, paramount for all of us, although as we see from this conversation, we have common ground on many issues – stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.

– These will be the most important elections in Poland, I believe, since 1989, and I am convinced that together we can defend Poland as it is, as we love it. "I saw a survey from one of the polling firms, which indicates that as many as 92% of PiS voters believe your version [regarding the studio apartment]. [...] However, 97% of Confederation voters do not. I leave it to our viewers to assess whether anything will change now or not," stated Sławomir Mentzen during a conversation with Karol Nawrocki on YouTube.

"In my opinion, this is an important matter, but all these other things are also very important. I would like us to remember that we managed to sign the Toruń Declaration. Karol Nawrocki agreed with us on many things," he pointed out.

"It is you, dear voters, who will decide whether Chairman Karol Nawrocki convinced you to vote for him, or not. I hope I did everything I could to help you make that decision, so that you could have fuller information on what to do on the day of the second round of elections," he continued.

– We are at the Wójcik family farm, where for generations they have worked, plowed, sowed, and harvested this land. They love this land; they are our fellow farmers, our agriculturalists, our stewards of this land. This is the essence of these people; this is Poland – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers alongside Rafał Trzaskowski.

– Mr. President, here, in a nutshell, you find all of Poland – our history, our tradition. As we drive through the surrounding villages, we see roadside shrines and crosses. They have written our history, our folk culture, which stems from our roots, our Christian roots, from the tradition of this land – he continued.

– Today, together with Mr. President Trzaskowski, we visited the grave of Wincenty Witos. We laid flowers there, in our common name, on behalf of the entire Polish countryside, we laid this bouquet of flowers, paying our respects. [...] Witos is a national treasure for all of us. We exclude no one from patriotism. We include everyone under the white-and-red banner – he continued.

He indicated: – Today, Wincenty Witos's great-grandson was with us. So, for all those who worry about how Witos looks upon us, I believe he does so with great friendship and joy, seeing that we are together, with good intentions, loving the Polish countryside, land, agriculture, our traditions, loving everything from which we grow. And this love is not just words; it is also deeds.

– We all know what Polish farmers are thinking about today as they look to the future. They fear, Mr. President, Ukraine's negotiations with the EU concerning agriculture. And these fears are justified, because farms in Europe are incomparable to those in Ukraine – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers alongside Rafał Trzaskowski.

– Poland is rooted in the family farm. This is enshrined in our system, our constitution, and it is sacred. Therefore, these negotiations will be tough. [...] We will not allow Polish agriculture to be destroyed, our competitiveness to be undermined, and there will be a principle of protectionism, the protection of Polish farmers and entrepreneurs – he assured.

– This is not against our partners from Ukraine. Among friends, one speaks frankly, which is why we are telling them frankly that this is simply how it must be – he added.

“We do not agree to Mercosur. The government has adopted a resolution, we are building a majority in Europe, we are speaking with Italy, and we will succeed in blocking the Mercosur free trade agreement with South America,” said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers alongside Rafał Trzaskowski.

– We all want to eat healthy Polish food. And that's why I am glad that this food from Ukraine, which was flowing into Poland and Europe, will be blocked, and only food that meets our standards will enter – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers together with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, referring to the earlier words of the Deputy Prime Minister.

– We have fought and continue to fight together against this Mercosur agreement. For example, I discussed this with President Macron. If someone asks why foreign languages are needed, it is precisely for this – to fight for our interests – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers together with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

– For many, many years, I worked with my colleagues from PSL to strengthen our position both in the European Parliament and in the government when it comes to defending Polish agriculture. And we will do this together – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Nieciecza, where, together with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, he participated in a meeting with farmers.

– For there is no difference here between rural and urban areas: we all want to eat healthy Polish produce and we want protection for our market. Because today, when times are dangerous, when the world is completely changing, we must be self-sufficient. Together we are fighting for this, and together we will continue to fight for it – he continued.

– Mr. President, we would also like to ask that, once you win the elections – and we will do everything to ensure you are a good steward, because a president is a good steward. Rafał Trzaskowski will be a good steward of the Polish countryside and Poland, said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers together with Rafał Trzaskowski.

– Mr. President, we ask that the presidential harvest festival return to Spała, away from the cobbled square in front of the Presidential Palace, which is not a place associated with rural life. Let's return to this beautiful tradition, which began in the Second Polish Republic. Can we count on that? he asked, to which Trzaskowski replied affirmatively.

– I'm glad Karol Nawrocki signed our declaration. He even, it seems, proposed additional points consistent with our postulates, – said Krzysztof Bosak in a conversation with Artur Molęda of TVN24.

– I hope that not only Sławomir Mentzen will be positively evaluated by viewers after this interview [...], but I also hope that Karol Nawrocki will benefit from it. We're waiting to see how Trzaskowski fares, – he stated.

In response to the observation that Nawrocki often distanced himself from PiS during the conversation, the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm replied: – He distanced himself from PiS on so many issues that if he doesn't win these presidential elections, we'll be able to offer him membership in the National Movement. This is currently a joke I've thrown out. However, I truly believe that in many matters, he showed he holds a separate opinion from PiS.

– I know you have given us a huge credit of trust. I know that the dreams brought by October 15, 2023, are the most beautiful aspirations for a free, democratic, just, and honest Poland. This is our complete ambition – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at Rafał Trzaskowski's rally in Tarnów.

– Not everything has succeeded for us, I also want to tell you honestly. We have shortcomings, we are not perfect. We know that we must draw conclusions from these shortcomings. This first round (of elections) also gave us a clear signal that these conclusions must be drawn. Firstly, fewer disputes within the coalition, I want to explicitly promise you this today, more cooperation. We can differ, but we must have more unity – he continued.

– Those who are saying today that this will be a monopoly – well, those monopolists themselves have spoken up on this matter. For eight years they held a monopoly, with the president and the 'chief' both coming from one camp. But here, various political formations and different circles are offering their support,” said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at Rafał Trzaskowski's rally in Tarnów.

– Today, facts are what matter most, and remember the facts. Today we are safe. Today, precisely today, we have the safest border in Europe. […] If someone says that they will be more effective than us on migration, look at the facts. […] Who exactly contributed to us being safe, to us finally controlling what is most important: to whom visas are issued – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Tarnów.

"What these elections are about is that we can catch up with Europe, we can even overtake it, we can overtake those countries that are currently the strongest in Europe. And remember this. We simply need to accelerate today. The government must accelerate, and we all must accelerate," said Rafał Trzaskowski in Tarnów.

– You see that my opponent is seeking power only to further divide us. To create utter chaos. I don't know if any of you watched his conversation with Sławomir Mentzen today. He is able to abandon all his convictions in 5 minutes. He is able to cut himself off from everyone in 5 minutes. A chameleon – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Tarnów.

– But we all see that all he cares about is stirring up conflict and trouble, and he doesn't even hide it. He wants to provoke a crisis – he continued.

– We will vote on whether the war moves away from us or closer to us. I don't understand how someone, just for a bit of cheap applause, just to make their YouTube conversation go better, can say that Ukraine should not be part of European structures or the North Atlantic Alliance – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Tarnów.

– It is in our interest that if war is waged, it should be waged outside Poland, and that Putin breaks all his teeth on Ukraine – he continued.

– I ask all of you for full mobilization on June 1st; convince those who are undecided. Talk to those who did not participate in the first round of the presidential elections. Talk to those who inadvertently want to bring upon us a monopoly of power by one political group – stated Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.

– Tell them, I ask you, that they, just like us, fear illegal migrants and do not want them in Poland, and that they have children and grandchildren, that Rafał Trzaskowski's victory is the cementing and pushing through of the Migration Pact and a threat to our security – he continued.

– You are proof that neither rain, nor fake news, nor lies, nor attacks by the institutions of Donald Tusk's Polish state will stop us on our path to victory. And the sky still weeps over Donald Tusk's Poland and awaits the sunrise and a change on June 1st, because it's raining today in Sochaczew, but your smiles, your energy, and our common cause give us great hope that we are truly moving in the right direction – said Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.

– We cannot allow the government of social callousness, which currently rules in Poland, to consolidate its power and for Rafał Trzaskowski, Donald Tusk's deputy, to become the president of Poland. No monopoly is good in the Polish state, and a monopoly held by the government of social callousness, which divides Poland into Poland A and Poland B, is certainly not good – stated Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.

– I will not allow a situation where, during a visit to the emergency room or a hospital, it would be necessary to tap a credit card to a reader. Public healthcare is a right for all of us, even if it is as imperfect as it is today, – said Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.

“We must regain the awareness that accompanied us in October 2023, that the stakes are very high. They are always just as high, but sometimes it’s clearer. Sometimes we feel it more strongly,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24’s “Fakty po Faktach.”

“I will say something very honest and very brutal: if this side – let’s call it ‘democratic’ for convenience, the one I have the honor to represent – if it is not as mobilized as in October [2023], then Rafał Trzaskowski will lose. If we are as mobilized as then, then Rafał Trzaskowski will win. So, in a sense, it depends more on all of us than on the candidates themselves,” he continued.

– This is a choice between war and peace, and I’m not talking about the war in Ukraine now, but I’m talking about what might await us, or again, a much more serious version of this political civil war and creeping paralysis, – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.

– Because the president in Poland can do little constructively, as that’s what our Constitution dictates, but if the president has ill will – and here, of course, we have no doubt why Kaczyński sent Mr. Nawrocki – then to harm and block, even if just through a veto, but not only that, through breaking international solidarity and conducting their own policy or attempting to conduct their own foreign policy, these are all mortal threats to Poland at a time when Russia may be preparing for a final attack on Ukraine, – he continued.

– Let everyone open their eyes wide. Let everyone honestly see what has happened over these 1.5 years, who worked like an ox to deliver on their promises, who hindered as much as they could. How many things have improved, how Poland has changed in this most important regard – Poland is once again a country of free citizens – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach."

– Over these 1.5 years, Poland has shaken off fear, pervasive corruption, and lies. These are the most important values. I dropped everything and was ready, I am ready to sacrifice everything for these very most important matters – he continued.

– How much has been achieved? Too little for me to be happy. Far too much to waste it – he pointed out.

– I'm not one to complain; I'm here to fight. I won't wallow in self-pity here, but it's difficult to govern in a country where the president is solely focused on causing harm, in every single matter. Whether it's the appointment of ambassadors, women's rights, or the restoration of judicial independence, and so on – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.

– I want to plan for, and I am currently planning for, Poland under the presidency of Rafał Trzaskowski and with the October 15 Coalition in parliament and in government. Because I am genuinely optimistic about it – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on "Fakty po Faktach" TVN24.

– Imagine Poland in this rather dramatic context, which will once again be a state governed by a government that is constantly blocked by Kaczyński's envoy. One last thought on this, but we must call a spade a spade: Mr. Nawrocki, hired by Kaczyński for a war against the Polish government. They don't even hide it, they call it what it is, so if Nawrocki wins, instead of moving forward for 2.5 years, instead of building Poland's full security in solidarity, we'll have some kind of slugfest – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24.

– I am very keen on a higher tax-free allowance, because that was my postulate. […] My postulate, and I also made sure of this, was that we would not take a single zloty from people of what they received in recent years, and furthermore, despite such a gigantic debt incurred by PiS, we would finance […] 800+ – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.

– We took on the burden of financing 800+ with the debt already being gigantic at that time. It is we who are balancing, and this is indeed a very serious game, on such a safety margin […] this year, no [we won't be able to implement the tax-free allowance increase without exceeding the safety margin] – he continued.

– This is my firm promise that by the end of this term, I won't say if it will be next [year], because that will depend on how high the deficit remains. We cannot cross a certain threshold, because we will lose European funds; I have to calculate this every day – he added.

– Invite Mr. Karol Nawrocki […] ask him publicly about, for instance, the setup with Odra Opole fans and about his actions, whether it was a noble fight. Let him try to answer, looking you in the eye, what his, how should I put it, activity involved – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24.

— What I've prepared is already almost ready; by the end of May, we will be ready with over 100 laws deregulating the Polish economy and administration, — Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach."

— Ultimately, in June or July, I will be asking the new president, just as I asked President Duda, whether he is ready to sign this deregulation package. Because consequently, we will be repealing 120,000 regulations. This is a consequence of adopting these over 100 laws, — he indicated.

— When we talk about changing and repealing these regulations, we are talking about freeing up the space that young people, politically, have fought for so long — for example, young entrepreneurs, but not only them, — he continued.

– This is not an ordinary campaign, this is not an ordinary situation. After all, the coming days will bring further surprises and further information that will show what’s truly at stake – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24’s “Fakty po Faktach”.

– For the first time in Poland’s history, we have a situation where a man is running for president who does not hide, because he is unable to hide, direct links to the criminal underworld – he stated.

– This campaign, the proposals – all of it practically ceases to have any significant meaning when we are talking about such a fundamental choice. Folks, it’s 2025, there’s a war, these challenges are truly astronomical, the opportunities are astronomical, and suddenly Kaczyński puts forward someone about whom I can say with full conviction: this is the last person in public life who should be running for president – he continued.

– I am telling you, all voters, just one crucial thing: Open your eyes wide. Listen carefully to what people are saying. They've been saying this for a long time. Pay attention to the questions for which there are still no answers – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach."

– But what do you mean, Mr. Prime Minister? Karol Nawrocki's connections with gangsters? – asked Piotr Kraśko.

– Is that not enough? We've been dealing with the criminal underworld in Tri-City for years. We have a situation involving Mr. Nawrocki's close associates, who are known for kidnapping women, putting sacks over their heads, blackmailing them for three days, or holding them chained to a radiator for several days, for example, to make them change their testimony. This is the kind of milieu, this is the kind of company. I don't know if more words are needed – Tusk continued.

– I realize how difficult it is nowadays to retain knowledge, given that every hour, every day, there are new sensations, new information, and the world is changing rapidly. People are overwhelmed, and sometimes they don't have time for such deeper reflection either – he added.

– But truly, for God's sake: this is our homeland. This is someone who will represent all of us in the world. This is someone who will be responsible for Poland's security, because he is the Commander-in-Chief. Because it is he who, in times of war, manages the Polish state in this most crucial dimension. Truly, let's come to our senses – appealed the Prime Minister.

– That is not true [about accepting migrants from Germany], but I am convinced that Mr. Sławomir Mentzen, perhaps because he is an opposition MP, lacks fundamental knowledge; it is precisely the opposite – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.

– The Border Guard received a very clear instruction from me to check every case; some are evident and mainly concern Ukrainians who have been in Poland for a long time. It is obvious and does not require any special investigation that when they try to take up illegal work in the West and are identified as these 'Polish Ukrainians,' they then return to Poland; I am not hiding this – he continued.
