Prime Minister Donald Tusk will be visiting the Pomeranian Voivodeship. He will participate in a briefing with the Naval Command staff and visit the Baltic Towers offshore wind turbine tower production plant.
The briefing at the Maritime Operations Centre in Gdynia – scheduled for 9:40 AM – is related to an incident involving a Russian "shadow fleet" vessel in the Baltic Sea. The ship performed suspicious maneuvers near an energy cable connecting Poland with Sweden. At 11:15 AM, the head of government will visit the Baltic Towers offshore wind turbine tower production plant. A meeting between Prime Minister Tusk and the media is planned for 11:25 AM.
KO candidate Rafał Trzaskowski will be in the Małopolska region today. At 4:00 PM in Nieciecza, he will meet with farmers. Afterwards, he will travel to Tarnów, where his rally will begin at 5:30 PM.
Meanwhile, PiS-backed Karol Nawrocki will hold a press conference at 11:00 AM in Koneck. From there, he will travel to Toruń – where Sławomir Mentzen lives – for a scheduled conversation on Mentzen's YouTube channel at 1:00 PM. Afterwards, Nawrocki will go to Sochaczew, where a meeting will commence at 5:00 PM.
At 11:00 AM, a press conference will take place in front of the Ministry of Justice headquarters with PiS MPs Andrzej Śliwka and Paweł Jabłoński.
07:37
– Yes, we received an SMS yesterday, before Mr. Trzaskowski spoke to the media, informing us that he was extending an invitation. Yes, that he was inviting us and counting on our presence. So that has been the extent of the contact so far. As for direct contact from Rafał Trzaskowski, yes, that was it. My impression is that the Sejm session has just concluded. The ruling coalition also had an opportunity to demonstrate, not just with words – because both candidates operate in a 'what does it hurt to promise' mode – but with actions, that the demands important to us have a chance of being fulfilled – stated Maciej Konieczny on TVN24's "Piasecki's Talk".
– That happened yesterday evening, and I wouldn't want to get ahead of myself. I am personally skeptical, because once again, MP Witek put it most aptly: what does it hurt to promise? We will go to a meeting, whether with Nawrocki or Trzaskowski. They will promise us everything, and what are we supposed to do then, say: 'I don't believe you at all'? Or take it at face value? – he continued.
07:39
Konieczny on an additional Sejm session next week:
That would be a clear signal to our voters.
– I can imagine a situation where the Sejm meets once again next week and, for example, Kukucki's housing bill – modest as it is, far from our expectations – passes. That would be a step, a clear signal to our voters: listen, we take you seriously, we see the problems you're talking about, and we intend to address them, not just make promises – stated Maciej Konieczny on TVN24's "Piasecki's Conversation".
07:45
Konieczny:
Liberal Media's Scolding of Razem Voters Tends to Discourage Rather Than Encourage Them
– _I think the situation is dynamic. Quite frankly – our voters are not particularly fond of Rafał Trzaskowski, and certainly even less so of Karol Nawrocki. And they can, of course, steel themselves, go to these elections and vote for Trzaskowski, considering that Nawrocki or PiS is the worse option, but I also have the feeling that the scolding from liberal media that they are hearing now tends to discourage them rather than encourage them, and there are many such articles about democracy being in need here, and how these treacherous, completely unwise Razem voters don't want to rush to enthusiastically vote for Trzaskowski – stated Maciej Konieczny in “Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24._
07:51
Konieczny:
For Two Days, Two People Per Minute Joined The Party
– At this moment, yes, but in recent days, several thousand people have joined Razem. For 2 days, two people per minute were signing up for the party. Of course, we will see how we manage to convert this into our strength, but we really cannot predict what will happen in 2 years – stated Maciej Konieczny in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.
08:10
Konieczny:
"We're pragmatic on elections," open to a "beneficial coalition"
– "We approach electoral matters pragmatically. Our goal as an independent political force is to function and stand on our own feet, but of course, it's not the case that if closer to the elections it turns out that a certain coalition would be beneficial for us and allow us to achieve our goals, we would rule it out." – stated Maciej Konieczny in "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.
08:17
Konieczny:
Nawrocki is willing to meet
– There is also a willingness to meet [from Karol Nawrocki's side]. If we were to meet, it would be with both of them, but I very much doubt it. Karol Nawrocki also sends signals that he deeply loves the Razem party electorate and would like them to vote for him – stated Maciej Konieczny in TVN24's 'Piasecki's Interview'.
– I think such a meeting would only make sense if we met with both candidates. Personally, I think that in a situation where both of them promise us everything, it's completely pointless – he continued.

Bosak:
Maintaining Credibility with Voters and Distance from Trzaskowski's Civic Platform, as well as PiS, Is Crucial
– Each of these goals is noble. This includes stopping Rafał Trzaskowski, who holds views diametrically opposed to what Confederation defends. Because we defend sovereignty, traditional values, and the rejection of misguided EU policies, whereas Trzaskowski stands for the opposite on all these – said Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info's 'Gość Poranka' (Morning Guest).
– However, maintaining credibility with our voters and keeping our distance not only from Trzaskowski, Civic Platform (PO), and The Left (Lewica), but also from Law and Justice (PiS), is an important goal for us, because we are not part of either the Law and Justice camp or the Civic Platform camp, and we will not allow ourselves to be manipulated – he pointed out.
08:44
Bosak on voting against Trzaskowski:
I'm only speaking for myself.
– I am speaking only for myself when I make a declaration about going to the polls and voting against Rafał Trzaskowski. This is because each of Sławomir Mentzen's 3 million voters [...] will make their own decision, guided by their conscience – said Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info's "Morning Guest."
– It's not the case that if I, or Mentzen, or anyone from Konfederacja says something, everyone will automatically behave in the same way. We respect the intelligence of our voters – he added.
08:50
Sikorski:
Either we want Russian troops fighting in Donbas, or we want them on the border at Medyka. If Karol Nawrocki doesn't understand this, he shouldn't be president
– With Lech Kaczyński, shoulder to shoulder, at the NATO summit in Bucharest, we fought for a NATO membership plan for Ukraine. Similarly, with President Duda, at the summit in Washington, we fought for the strongest possible provisions favouring Ukraine's future in NATO, as well as in the European Union. But here I don't see any enthusiasm – said Radosław Sikorski on PR1.
– It is Russia that constantly feeds an anti-Ukrainian narrative. We cannot change the past, but either we want Russian troops fighting in Donbas, or we want them on the border at Medyka, and if Karol Nawrocki doesn't understand this, he shouldn't be president – he continued.
08:54
Sikorski:
Gen. Kellogg Said a Group of States, in His Opinion, Should Send Troops to Ukraine. That Doesn't Mean We Will Do It
– It was Jarosław Kaczyński who wanted to send NATO troops, including Polish ones, to Ukraine, while General Kellogg said that a group of states, in his opinion, should send them. Just because he thinks they should, doesn't mean we will do it, so let PiS explain Kaczyński's words – Radosław Sikorski said on PR1.
08:59
Sikorski:
I Hope Trzaskowski Will Correct the Far-Right's EU Nonsense at Mentzen's Meeting
– I hope that Rafał Trzaskowski will correct the various nonsense that the far-right spreads about the European Union. The European Union is not an ideal entity; we need to discuss its reform, but based on facts, not myths, lies, and slanders, such as those that led to the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union – said Radosław Sikorski on PR1, when asked about Rafał Trzaskowski's visit with Sławomir Mentzen.
09:03
Bosak:
A Strong PiS Could Be a Problem for Konfederacja, But a Strong Trzaskowski Even More So
– Of course, a strong PiS can be a problem for Konfederacja. But a strong Trzaskowski can be an even bigger one. The disparity in views, for example, regarding sovereignty, between us and PiS, compared to between us and Trzaskowski, is obviously greater between us and Trzaskowski – said Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka" (Morning Guest).
– The editor wants to consider this from the perspective of potential future governance and Konfederacja in government. From the standpoint of a future Konfederacja in government, it is, of course, beneficial that the Presidential Palace is not occupied by someone who would veto every conservative or sovereignty-focused initiative, but rather support every initiative under the banner of George Soros Jr., German political foundations, post-communist Hungarian special services, supporting the Civic Platform (PO) campaign, and so on – he continued.
– We do not want everything that is associated with Rafał Trzaskowski and the foreign lobbies and foundations supporting him. We do not want this 'climatism,' 'LGBT-ism,' all these things that we perceive as destructive and harmful – he stated.
09:05
– I would like to ask my colleagues from PiS what they have done about their ideological ally who is helping Putin, because he is blocking the reimbursement of 7 billion euros for equipment delivered to Ukraine and is preventing the Polish presidency from opening negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union – said Radosław Sikorski on PR1.
– It's a disgrace, of course, and also such powerlessness of the Polish right-wing, having no influence whatsoever over Orban – he continued.
09:09
Bosak:
Konfederacja Has Already Broken the Duopoly
– The duopoly has already been broken, because Konfederacja is the third force in Poland and belongs neither to the PiS camp nor to the PO camp. It is the most popular political force among young voters, among middle-aged voters, and we are fighting for the trust of senior generation voters as well – said Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka" (Morning Guest).
09:10
– There is a demand in Poland for such views [antisemitic], for conspiracy theories; this occurs in most countries, and here it has the face of Mr. Braun, who, in my opinion, should have been apprehended red-handed when he attacked the menorah; he should have been in prison long ago – said Radosław Sikorski on PR1.
09:15
Sikorski:
I Warn Against 'European Army' Term – It Will Never Materialize
– Jarosław Kaczyński spoke about a common army, and he spoke of it at the expense of subsidies for farmers. I, on the other hand, warn against using the term 'European army' because I believe it will never happen. A European army can be understood by some as a merger of national armies, and that, I believe, will not happen, – Radosław Sikorski said on PR1.
– What Europe is already creating, I inform my colleagues from Law and Justice, are rapid reaction forces, – he continued.

Tusk at Briefing with Navy Command Staff:
We're Still Investigating if Charges Were Planted.
– I know we are still constantly investigating whether any charges were planted. It's clear that this needs to be checked very thoroughly. [I understand that] for now there are no bad signals. This is a fortunate coincidence – though it's bad that we have to deal with such incidents – but this coincidence means that today in Gdańsk, I will also be de facto inaugurating a large production plant located on the water on Ostrów island, Baltic Towers. I mention it as a coincidence because offshore wind towers will be produced there – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a briefing with the Navy's command staff.
10:23
Tusk:
Incidents Involving Russian Saboteurs May Recur with Increasing Intensity in the Future
– We must realize that these incidents, which are occurring involving the 'shadow fleet' – that is, these de facto Russian saboteurs – may unfortunately recur with increasing intensity in the future, and this complicates our operations, specifically very serious investments – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a briefing with the commanding staff of the Navy.
10:23
– Let's not kid ourselves, there's no point in building any illusions, no need to reject these facts. The Baltic Sea may become a place, just like Poland's eastern border today, of permanent confrontation, a hybrid one, although here it's not entirely hybrid anymore; if someone sends units to destroy infrastructure, I don't know why we should call it a hybrid conflict or a hybrid war. This is outright aggression aimed at very critical matters concerning our energy security and beyond – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a briefing with the commanding staff of the Navy.

– You must be joking. Polsat and Republika asked if they could broadcast my conversation, and I agreed. And you, without permission, without even asking, want to steal my material? This is plain theft – Sławomir Mentzen wrote on social media.

New Trade Agreements with Ukraine, Intended as a Precursor to Accession, Are Highly Detrimental to Poland!
– The European Commission has precisely clarified how trade with Ukraine is to look after June 5, i.e., after the expiration of the ATMs (Autonomous Trade Measures): – transitional provisions in the form of an EC implementing regulation, a return to DCFTA rules in a 7/12 dimension, but only until the end of 2025!!! – wrote Anna Bryłka on social media.
– Concurrently, the EC intends to adopt a new trade agreement with Ukraine, which is meant to be the beginning of Ukraine's accession to the EU and a further opening of the single market to imports of agri-food products from UA. Highly detrimental to Poland! – noted the Confederation MEP.

Ardanowski at Conference with Nawrocki:
The Countryside Must Be Heard.
– I am glad that we are meeting to seriously discuss the problems and issues of rural Poland. There are many such problems; farmers are reporting these threats. And the Wergiel family, where we are today, along with many other farmers in Poland, are wondering whether to invest, whether to develop their farms, or whether to convince the younger generation to stay in rural areas. There is great concern whether the policies of the EU and the Polish government will make the countryside an important area of economic activity, a resource for Poland, or if it will be treated solely as a nuisance, a worry that only causes headaches – stated Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski at a press conference in Koneck municipality.
– The countryside wants to speak with its own voice; it has shown a yellow card to all political parties. How the fate of rural Poland will be decided in the parliamentary elections is an issue before us, but the countryside must be heard and not treated paternalistically, with the conviction that we, the educated ones from large cities, those who feel superior, know better what rural Poland needs – he continued.
11:24
Ardanowski at a conference with Nawrocki:
The Green Deal is an EPP-promoted European project, once headed by Tusk.
– The biggest threats currently facing European and Polish agriculture, namely the Green Deal, are a European project promoted by the EPP, which Donald Tusk once headed, and whose deputy in Poland is Rafał Trzaskowski. Mr. Weber also stated that the EPP is the party of the Green Deal – declared Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski at a press conference in the Koneck municipality.
11:30
Ardanowski:
Nawrocki Is a Brave and Resilient Man, Enduring the Calumnies Leveled Against Him
– I am convinced that Karol Nawrocki is a brave, resilient man. All these calumnies and accusations leveled against him, he endures and firmly confronts them. Therefore, I would like the head of state to be a person who, guided by common sense – and I remind you that 'peasant's reason' (chłopski rozum) is often cited as a synonym for a practical, rational approach to life and the assessment of reality – would make decisions beneficial for Poland, for the Polish countryside, and for Polish agriculture, even being able to stand up to the political circles that support him – stated Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski at a press conference in Koneck municipality.
11:38
Nawrocki on Ardanowski’s Endorsement:
Yes, I will be the President of Rural Poland.
– This kind of independence in Polish politics, in Polish parliamentarism, is very much needed by all of us today. A kind of authenticity, a man who represents such a crucial issue as the prosperity of rural Poland. He is also a very experienced person, advising both the late President Lech Kaczyński and President Andrzej Duda, and above all, a Minister of Agriculture. This experience, combined with the authenticity of an ambassador for rural Poland, makes me both honored and obligated by the act that has just occurred. Yes, I will be the president of rural Poland – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in the Koneck municipality.
– It is impossible to build a national community without the awareness that there are no divisions between the Polish countryside and the Polish city, Poland A and Poland B. We are all a national community that has the power and strength to both respect its cultural heritage and identity and think about its beautiful, shared future – he continued.

– TVN just asked if they could take the feed. I agreed. My interview at 1 PM will be available to watch on my YouTube channel, as well as on Polsat, Republika, TVN24, and TVP. I did not consent to the broadcast on any other YouTube channel – Sławomir Mentzen wrote on social media.

– This will be a brief comment. Minister Sikorski seems to have forgotten that he is the Minister of Foreign Affairs and should, therefore, be carrying out his duties. He can always count on the IPN's support in this matter; regardless of one's assessment of Minister Sikorski, the IPN is an institution of the Polish state. If the head of Polish diplomacy wishes to address an issue that he, as Minister of Foreign Affairs, ought to address, he can rely on the IPN's support. The Institute, in this particular area, does not possess the same instruments as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Therefore, I have the impression that when uttering these words, the minister momentarily forgot the role he holds within the Polish state – stated Karol Nawrocki during a press conference in the Koneck municipality.
11:48
Nawrocki:
It Seems Nitras Has a Health Problem
– I fear that Mr. Minister [Nitras] has somewhat mixed up the order [regarding his statements on abortion law]. Poland is healthy, beautiful, and wonderful, and it seems that Mr. Minister Nitras is the one with a health problem – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Koneck commune.
11:56
— I will not only sign this [Sławomir Mentzen's 8 postulates], but our discussion will revolve around these points. It's a discussion about our visions for specific points. I would like to remind you that some of them are also part of my election program, so for the most part, I believe that my opinion and Mentzen's did not differ during the election campaign — stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in the Koneck municipality.
11:56
Nawrocki Responds to Tusk:
He Shouldn't Speak on Succumbing to Putin.
– When I hear Donald Tusk speak about Vladimir Putin's propaganda, and I see him walking on the Sopot pier with Putin and Angela Merkel, pumping euros into the Russian Federation for Russian gas, I can't help but smile inwardly. Donald Tusk probably shouldn't comment on the issue of succumbing to Vladimir Putin, especially if he is speaking about a man who is wanted by Putin on an arrest warrant – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in the Koneck municipality.

Think Where We'd Be If the PiS Government and President Duda Had Zeroed Out Foreign Funding for Political NGOs a Decade Ago
“Our opponents have been brought back to earth in terms of public exposure after the Trump-Musk tandem cut off their funding. Just think where we would be now if the PiS government and President Duda 10 years ago had zeroed out foreign funding for political NGOs and implemented Confederation’s ideas, e.g., the cultural voucher and university voucher, aimed at democratizing the funding of culture and intellectual life?” – Krzysztof Bosak wrote on X.
This is a comment on Przemysław Sadura's statement: “Trump is cutting American sources of funding for democratic organizations worldwide, and our government is not releasing funds that would compensate for this. Many organizations are struggling to operate. Perhaps that’s why there was a lack of energy, it was quieter, more lukewarm. And this affected mobilization, especially among young people.”

Tusk on Trump Talks and Russia's Lack of Good Will:
I Don't Confirm Such a Statement.
– As you know, we are in constant contact; Italy, with Prime Minister Meloni, has also joined this format, so France, Poland, Great Britain, Germany, Italy are in constant contact with President Trump—constant, practically daily telephone calls, also, of course, in various formats – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing during his visit to Baltic Towers.
– Yesterday I spoke at length about the outcomes of these talks with President Zelenskyy. I do not confirm such a statement, but I do confirm that the situation is difficult precisely because there is not even a trace of good will from the Russian side when it comes to, first and foremost, the quickest possible ceasefire, and secondly, entering into honest peace negotiations – he continued.

Zandberg:
Razem Opposes Exempting Corporations from Publishing Tax Strategies
"Exempting corporations from the obligation to publish tax strategies – of course, Razem is against this solution," said Adrian Zandberg from the parliamentary rostrum in a recording published on X.
"Who proposed this to you? Here, you are massively exempting international corporations from this. This makes no sense. What's more, in the impact assessment of this regulation, you write that it will have no consequences for tax collection. Well, I don't think so. I don't understand this very laconic justification, but I have no doubt who will be pleased by it," he continued.

Says Tusk on New, Tough Sanctions Package:
Putin Won’t Engage in Serious Peace Talks Without Sharp Pressure,
– Pressure is so important. What we are focusing on, especially Poland within this format together with the commission, is the preparation of a potential sanctions package against Russia, a tough new sanctions package, because experience tells us that without very strong pressure, Putin will not engage in serious peace talks – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing during his visit to Baltic Towers.
– The American side is also preliminarily prepared for this – the American Senate, Senator Graham, with whom our group of four is also in contact. So, of course, the EC has already prepared this package, we are ready, but this naturally requires a unanimous decision from the entire format, and President Trump is the most cautious here when it comes to a stronger stance against Russia – he continued.

Tusk:
Gdańsk Had Truly Grave Reasons Not to Vote for Nawrocki
– As for Karol Nawrocki's past – the result in Gdańsk is the best answer to what people know and think about him there, where he is known. It is not my role, I am the Prime Minister of the Polish government, nor do I have the nature of a person who likes to level accusations, but here the matter is very serious, and all of Poland should truly ask the people of Gdańsk what they know, what they feel, what they have heard, why they are sometimes afraid to speak about it – that such a tragically low result was ultimately received by a local, someone from here, where people know him well – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing during his visit to Baltic Towers.
– Let everyone answer this question in their own conscience, because, after all, this was truly the main reason I returned to Polish politics: to finally tear down these veils of lies, hypocrisy, and that fear. I won't spell it out, I won't call things by their proper name – how they stole for 8 years. It was necessary to constantly say loudly that they were stealing. There would not have been such a far-reaching degeneration of the state if people had the courage, especially in public life, to speak out loudly and call things by their proper name – he continued.
– I have essentially already said everything about Karol Nawrocki. But people sometimes somehow lack the courage, as it were, to acknowledge this, because it is incomprehensible to some that someone with such a liability, such a past, and such inclinations would run for the office of president. But I have no reason to be concerned; I am also a man from here, so I can only say this: Gdańsk had truly grave reasons not to vote for Karol Nawrocki – said the head of government.
12:23
Tusk:
Ardanowski Is Well Aware That PiS Was Behind the Green Deal
– Perhaps he [Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski] has regrets, because he knows very well that PiS was behind the Green Deal. They boasted about it; I don't even want to remind you of those commercials Wojciechowski aired on TV, showcasing what a wonderful Green Deal they had prepared. Kaczyński himself said that the Green Deal was PiS's program, so let's not draw a veil of silence over this, because we need to speak out loudly – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing during his visit to Baltic Towers.
12:25
Tusk:
We Will Remind Everyone What Mentzen Thinks About Nawrocki
– Particularly when one recalls – and we will also be reminding people of this – what Mr. Mentzen thinks about Mr. Nawrocki. Even I did not use such harsh words towards Mr. Nawrocki as Mr. Mentzen did. If I remember correctly, the key sentence was: a man like Nawrocki should never be president – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing during a visit to Baltic Towers.

Mentzen:
Welcome, TVN24 Viewers – Your Station Tried to Steal My Recording!
– I also welcome TVN24 viewers, whom I inform that your station tried to steal my recording from this broadcast. Fortunately, however, they reconsidered and asked for permission, so they watched this feed legally – stated Sławomir Mentzen at the beginning of his conversation with Karol Nawrocki on YouTube.
13:06
– "Yes [the introduction of the New Deal by Mateusz Morawiecki was a mistake]," – stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.
– "The Green Deal must be rejected. On the matter of the Green Deal, no [Jarosław Kaczyński was not right], but on many other issues, probably yes," – he continued.
13:22
"The complicated tax system in Poland, which certainly needs to be reformed, and I hope we can do this together when I become president, because you are perfectly knowledgeable about it," stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.
13:23
– Of course, hate is a phenomenon that has affected both me and you. I don't know if you saw it. It came to my attention. We are apparently depicted in outfits reminiscent of the Hitler Youth, and such banners are planned for display in Poland. This is a kind of completely incomprehensible hatred – stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.

Nawrocki:
No Cadastral Tax on Family Homes. Tax on the 10th, 15th, or 20th Apartment? 'I Don't Know That'
– No to cadastral tax, primarily for those who own their family homes – said Karol Nawrocki in a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube, when asked about the cadastral tax.
– This is a discussion I have often stated, about where that line is. I recently met a voter who said: 'We are just doing normal business, earning financial resources, and like others, we can operate in the free market and make a living from it.' However, I believe that an apartment is not a standard commodity – he continued, asked about cases where someone owns 4 or 5 apartments.
– I don't know that. [...] I am certainly against the cadastral tax for the homes of ordinary Poles [...] but I see a certain problem [...] where the potential line is – he continued, pressed on whether he would sign a bill introducing a cadastral tax from the 10th, 15th, or 20th apartment.
– I am against the cadastral tax, which is stated in my program. However, now we are opening a discussion about this, looking at 'lex Kropiwnicki' and Minister Kropiwnicki, at those Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska) MPs who own 14, 15, or 10 apartments each [...] as an opponent of the cadastral tax [...] I am pondering, – he added.
13:36
Nawrocki:
No Polish Troops for Ukraine, But Polish Businesses for Its Reconstruction
– Of course, I will not allow Polish soldiers to be sent to Ukrainian territory, but I will send Polish entrepreneurs, stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.
– To Ukraine? But will we fight there or what will we do there? Because I am also an entrepreneur and I got worried. So, will you send me to Donbas? – commented Mentzen.
– No, no. When Ukraine rebuilds, Polish entrepreneurs, we as a state, should take advantage of what southeastern Poland has already built to aid Ukraine in Subcarpathia, and we should be [...] the main force rebuilding Ukraine when the war ends, Nawrocki continued.
13:42
Nawrocki:
I Have Access to a Weapon. I Obtained It Due to a Life Threat from a Foreign State
– I will not sign […]. It is very difficult to obtain a gun permit, one must admit – said Karol Nawrocki in a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube, when asked if he would not sign a bill restricting access to firearms.
– The regulations that are in place today are indeed complicated. I think I will say it publicly for the first time […] I have access to a weapon […] a personal weapon. When the Russian Federation started pursuing me and I was regularly threatened with death for liquidating Soviet propaganda objects, after a long procedure, after subsequent tests, preparations, etc., I obtained access to a personal weapon because my life was threatened by a foreign state – he continued.
14:01
Nawrocki:
I Didn't Go to the White House for Endorsement or a Photo Op. I'm Serious
– I didn't go there [to the White House] at all to gain support or to take that kind of photograph. I guarantee it – stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.
– But are you seriously telling me now that you flew across the ocean to Washington and didn't fly there to get a picture at the White House? – Mentzen asked.
– I'm serious. […] The White House confirmed that after my series of meetings, Poland managed to be placed in the top tier regarding microchips. I truly consider this my success, the success of those meetings I had at the White House; they lasted 7 hours, and at the very end, there was a meeting with President Donald Trump. […] The Polish president must very quickly assume responsibilities and repair Polish-American relations. […] I went there to discuss technological, military, and defense security – Nawrocki said.
– And weren't you motivated by the thought that it would help your campaign? – Mentzen pressed.
– I didn't think about that. It's obvious to me that the president will be chosen by the Polish people – Nawrocki replied.
14:10
– This will be a very important gesture for our voters – stated Sławomir Mentzen during a conversation with Karol Nawrocki on YouTube.
– Okay. […] So let's agree before the viewers that we are also against the Green Deal and the EU-Mercosur agreement – replied Nawrocki.
Subsequently, the PiS-backed candidate signed the eight-point declaration handed to him by Mentzen.
– The Toruń declaration has been signed by the first candidate. I sincerely thank you very much for this; these points are very important for my voters. I am convinced that my voters will appreciate it – commented the Confederation politician.
– I am doing this from the heart and because our programs, as we see, converged on at least several points – added Nawrocki.
14:12
Nawrocki:
I'm Not Critical of the Last 8 Years; PiS Did Much Better Than Tusk
– I genuinely appreciate the PiS governments in terms of social policy, in the areas we likely observed together during our election campaigns – stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.
– The change over eight years of United Right rule was also noticeable, so I wouldn't want you, doctor, and you, our viewers, to get the impression that we are critical, or that I am critical, of those eight years. No, absolutely not; that party performed much better than Donald Tusk is performing today – he continued.
14:33
Nawrocki:
Mr. Jerzy didn't question I paid him. Not giving 120,000 PLN I didn't possess to an alcoholic in detention seems quite natural.
– No, no, absolutely [I didn't have 120,000 zlotys in free funds as a young official]. Yes, it is in accordance with the law that the parties [...] declaring agree upon the possibility and the entire process of transferring these financial funds – said Karol Nawrocki in a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube, when asked about a notarial deed which stated that he had paid the entire amount for the apartment, but in reality, that was not the case.
– That man never questioned after 2011 that I paid him all the funds. But the fact that I didn't hand him, an alcoholic – he has recovered from alcoholism, and I am very happy about that too, I consider it a small success of my own – 120,000 zlotys in detention, which I didn't even have at the time, seems quite natural – he continued.
– Consider the level of trust involved with this man, that he had previously received tens of thousands of zlotys – or we'd have to calculate the exact amount – to be able to buy out this apartment, to be able to pay off his debts – he went on.
14:41
– Dear voters, on June 1st, you will make a very important decision. I guarantee a sovereign Poland, a safe Poland. Even on matters we disagree on, the future of the Polish state will be, I believe, paramount for all of us, although as we see from this conversation, we have common ground on many issues – stated Karol Nawrocki during a conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.
– These will be the most important elections in Poland, I believe, since 1989, and I am convinced that together we can defend Poland as it is, as we love it. I will ensure your safety and the sovereignty of the Polish state. Be with me on June 5th. Thank you again for the invitation – he continued.
14:43
"I saw a survey from one of the polling firms, which indicates that as many as 92% of PiS voters believe your version [regarding the studio apartment]. [...] However, 97% of Confederation voters do not. I leave it to our viewers to assess whether anything will change now or not," stated Sławomir Mentzen during a conversation with Karol Nawrocki on YouTube.
"In my opinion, this is an important matter, but all these other things are also very important. I would like us to remember that we managed to sign the Toruń Declaration. Karol Nawrocki agreed with us on many things," he pointed out.
"It is you, dear voters, who will decide whether Chairman Karol Nawrocki convinced you to vote for him, or not. I hope I did everything I could to help you make that decision, so that you could have fuller information on what to do on the day of the second round of elections," he continued.
15:26
"Against cadastral and progressive taxes, on its knees before economic Darwinism. A complete break from Lech Kaczyński's policies. Yes, Mr. Mentzen! As you wish, Mr. Mentzen? Perhaps some tea with lemon, Mr. Mentzen?" – Adrian Zandberg wrote on X, referring to Karol Nawrocki's conversation with Sławomir Mentzen on YouTube.
"It was a sad funeral for the pro-social PiS," he concluded.

Kosiniak-Kamysz with Trzaskowski and Farmers:
We Love the Polish Countryside, Land, Agriculture, Our Traditions.
– We are at the Wójcik family farm, where for generations they have worked, plowed, sowed, and harvested this land. They love this land; they are our fellow farmers, our agriculturalists, our stewards of this land. This is the essence of these people; this is Poland – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers alongside Rafał Trzaskowski.
– Mr. President, here, in a nutshell, you find all of Poland – our history, our tradition. As we drive through the surrounding villages, we see roadside shrines and crosses. They have written our history, our folk culture, which stems from our roots, our Christian roots, from the tradition of this land – he continued.
– Today, together with Mr. President Trzaskowski, we visited the grave of Wincenty Witos. We laid flowers there, in our common name, on behalf of the entire Polish countryside, we laid this bouquet of flowers, paying our respects. [...] Witos is a national treasure for all of us. We exclude no one from patriotism. We include everyone under the white-and-red banner – he continued.
He indicated: – Today, Wincenty Witos's great-grandson was with us. So, for all those who worry about how Witos looks upon us, I believe he does so with great friendship and joy, seeing that we are together, with good intentions, loving the Polish countryside, land, agriculture, our traditions, loving everything from which we grow. And this love is not just words; it is also deeds.
17:27
Kosiniak-Kamysz on Ukraine Negotiations:
We Won't Let Polish Agriculture Be Destroyed; Protectionism Will Be the Rule.
– We all know what Polish farmers are thinking about today as they look to the future. They fear, Mr. President, Ukraine's negotiations with the EU concerning agriculture. And these fears are justified, because farms in Europe are incomparable to those in Ukraine – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers alongside Rafał Trzaskowski.
– Poland is rooted in the family farm. This is enshrined in our system, our constitution, and it is sacred. Therefore, these negotiations will be tough. [...] We will not allow Polish agriculture to be destroyed, our competitiveness to be undermined, and there will be a principle of protectionism, the protection of Polish farmers and entrepreneurs – he assured.
– This is not against our partners from Ukraine. Among friends, one speaks frankly, which is why we are telling them frankly that this is simply how it must be – he added.
17:31
Kosiniak-Kamysz:
We Will Block the Mercosur Agreement
“We do not agree to Mercosur. The government has adopted a resolution, we are building a majority in Europe, we are speaking with Italy, and we will succeed in blocking the Mercosur free trade agreement with South America,” said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers alongside Rafał Trzaskowski.
17:39
Trzaskowski:
I Welcome the Blocking of Ukrainian Food Flowing into Poland and Europe
– We all want to eat healthy Polish food. And that's why I am glad that this food from Ukraine, which was flowing into Poland and Europe, will be blocked, and only food that meets our standards will enter – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers together with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, referring to the earlier words of the Deputy Prime Minister.
17:42
Trzaskowski:
I Discussed Mercosur with Macron. Foreign Languages Are Key to Fighting for Our Interests
– We have fought and continue to fight together against this Mercosur agreement. For example, I discussed this with President Macron. If someone asks why foreign languages are needed, it is precisely for this – to fight for our interests – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers together with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
17:49
Trzaskowski:
We All Want to Eat Healthy Polish Produce and Protection for Our Market
– For many, many years, I worked with my colleagues from PSL to strengthen our position both in the European Parliament and in the government when it comes to defending Polish agriculture. And we will do this together – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Nieciecza, where, together with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, he participated in a meeting with farmers.
– For there is no difference here between rural and urban areas: we all want to eat healthy Polish produce and we want protection for our market. Because today, when times are dangerous, when the world is completely changing, we must be self-sufficient. Together we are fighting for this, and together we will continue to fight for it – he continued.
17:55
Kosiniak-Kamysz:
Trzaskowski Will Be a Good Steward of the Polish Countryside
– Mr. President, we would also like to ask that, once you win the elections – and we will do everything to ensure you are a good steward, because a president is a good steward. Rafał Trzaskowski will be a good steward of the Polish countryside and Poland, said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Nieciecza, where he participated in a meeting with farmers together with Rafał Trzaskowski.
– Mr. President, we ask that the presidential harvest festival return to Spała, away from the cobbled square in front of the Presidential Palace, which is not a place associated with rural life. Let's return to this beautiful tradition, which began in the Second Polish Republic. Can we count on that? he asked, to which Trzaskowski replied affirmatively.
18:11
– I'm glad Karol Nawrocki signed our declaration. He even, it seems, proposed additional points consistent with our postulates, – said Krzysztof Bosak in a conversation with Artur Molęda of TVN24.
– I hope that not only Sławomir Mentzen will be positively evaluated by viewers after this interview [...], but I also hope that Karol Nawrocki will benefit from it. We're waiting to see how Trzaskowski fares, – he stated.
In response to the observation that Nawrocki often distanced himself from PiS during the conversation, the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm replied: – He distanced himself from PiS on so many issues that if he doesn't win these presidential elections, we'll be able to offer him membership in the National Movement. This is currently a joke I've thrown out. However, I truly believe that in many matters, he showed he holds a separate opinion from PiS.
18:14
Kosiniak-Kamysz:
I Want to Explicitly Promise You Fewer Disputes in the Coalition
– I know you have given us a huge credit of trust. I know that the dreams brought by October 15, 2023, are the most beautiful aspirations for a free, democratic, just, and honest Poland. This is our complete ambition – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at Rafał Trzaskowski's rally in Tarnów.
– Not everything has succeeded for us, I also want to tell you honestly. We have shortcomings, we are not perfect. We know that we must draw conclusions from these shortcomings. This first round (of elections) also gave us a clear signal that these conclusions must be drawn. Firstly, fewer disputes within the coalition, I want to explicitly promise you this today, more cooperation. We can differ, but we must have more unity – he continued.
18:18
Kosiniak-Kamysz:
'Monopolists' Who Held Eight Years of Control Are Speaking Up Now. Trzaskowski Is Supported by Diverse Political Formations
– Those who are saying today that this will be a monopoly – well, those monopolists themselves have spoken up on this matter. For eight years they held a monopoly, with the president and the 'chief' both coming from one camp. But here, various political formations and different circles are offering their support,” said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at Rafał Trzaskowski's rally in Tarnów.
18:34
– Today, facts are what matter most, and remember the facts. Today we are safe. Today, precisely today, we have the safest border in Europe. […] If someone says that they will be more effective than us on migration, look at the facts. […] Who exactly contributed to us being safe, to us finally controlling what is most important: to whom visas are issued – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Tarnów.
18:36
Trzaskowski:
We Can Overtake Europe's Strongest Nations
"What these elections are about is that we can catch up with Europe, we can even overtake it, we can overtake those countries that are currently the strongest in Europe. And remember this. We simply need to accelerate today. The government must accelerate, and we all must accelerate," said Rafał Trzaskowski in Tarnów.
18:42
Trzaskowski on Nawrocki After His Conversation with Mentzen:
He Can Abandon All His Convictions in 5 Minutes. A Chameleon.
– You see that my opponent is seeking power only to further divide us. To create utter chaos. I don't know if any of you watched his conversation with Sławomir Mentzen today. He is able to abandon all his convictions in 5 minutes. He is able to cut himself off from everyone in 5 minutes. A chameleon – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Tarnów.
– But we all see that all he cares about is stirring up conflict and trouble, and he doesn't even hide it. He wants to provoke a crisis – he continued.
18:49
Trzaskowski:
Our Vote Will Decide if War Moves Away or Closer
– We will vote on whether the war moves away from us or closer to us. I don't understand how someone, just for a bit of cheap applause, just to make their YouTube conversation go better, can say that Ukraine should not be part of European structures or the North Atlantic Alliance – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Tarnów.
– It is in our interest that if war is waged, it should be waged outside Poland, and that Putin breaks all his teeth on Ukraine – he continued.
18:51
Nawrocki:
'Full Mobilization on June 1st – Trzaskowski's Victory Threatens Our Security'
– I ask all of you for full mobilization on June 1st; convince those who are undecided. Talk to those who did not participate in the first round of the presidential elections. Talk to those who inadvertently want to bring upon us a monopoly of power by one political group – stated Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.
– Tell them, I ask you, that they, just like us, fear illegal migrants and do not want them in Poland, and that they have children and grandchildren, that Rafał Trzaskowski's victory is the cementing and pushing through of the Migration Pact and a threat to our security – he continued.
18:52
Nawrocki:
No Lies or Tusk's State Institutions Will Stop Our Path to Victory
– You are proof that neither rain, nor fake news, nor lies, nor attacks by the institutions of Donald Tusk's Polish state will stop us on our path to victory. And the sky still weeps over Donald Tusk's Poland and awaits the sunrise and a change on June 1st, because it's raining today in Sochaczew, but your smiles, your energy, and our common cause give us great hope that we are truly moving in the right direction – said Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.
18:53
Nawrocki:
We Cannot Allow the Socially Callous Government to Consolidate Power
– We cannot allow the government of social callousness, which currently rules in Poland, to consolidate its power and for Rafał Trzaskowski, Donald Tusk's deputy, to become the president of Poland. No monopoly is good in the Polish state, and a monopoly held by the government of social callousness, which divides Poland into Poland A and Poland B, is certainly not good – stated Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.
18:53
Nawrocki:
Public Healthcare is a Right for All of Us, Even if Imperfect
– I will not allow a situation where, during a visit to the emergency room or a hospital, it would be necessary to tap a credit card to a reader. Public healthcare is a right for all of us, even if it is as imperfect as it is today, – said Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.
19:37
Tusk:
If the democratic side isn't as mobilized as in October 2023, Trzaskowski will lose
“We must regain the awareness that accompanied us in October 2023, that the stakes are very high. They are always just as high, but sometimes it’s clearer. Sometimes we feel it more strongly,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24’s “Fakty po Faktach.”
“I will say something very honest and very brutal: if this side – let’s call it ‘democratic’ for convenience, the one I have the honor to represent – if it is not as mobilized as in October [2023], then Rafał Trzaskowski will lose. If we are as mobilized as then, then Rafał Trzaskowski will win. So, in a sense, it depends more on all of us than on the candidates themselves,” he continued.
19:46
Tusk:
This is a choice between war and peace
– This is a choice between war and peace, and I’m not talking about the war in Ukraine now, but I’m talking about what might await us, or again, a much more serious version of this political civil war and creeping paralysis, – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.
– Because the president in Poland can do little constructively, as that’s what our Constitution dictates, but if the president has ill will – and here, of course, we have no doubt why Kaczyński sent Mr. Nawrocki – then to harm and block, even if just through a veto, but not only that, through breaking international solidarity and conducting their own policy or attempting to conduct their own foreign policy, these are all mortal threats to Poland at a time when Russia may be preparing for a final attack on Ukraine, – he continued.
19:48
Tusk:
'Let Everyone Open Their Eyes Wide. Over These 1.5 Years, Poland Has Once Again Become a Country of Free Citizens.'
– Let everyone open their eyes wide. Let everyone honestly see what has happened over these 1.5 years, who worked like an ox to deliver on their promises, who hindered as much as they could. How many things have improved, how Poland has changed in this most important regard – Poland is once again a country of free citizens – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach."
– Over these 1.5 years, Poland has shaken off fear, pervasive corruption, and lies. These are the most important values. I dropped everything and was ready, I am ready to sacrifice everything for these very most important matters – he continued.
– How much has been achieved? Too little for me to be happy. Far too much to waste it – he pointed out.
19:49
Tusk:
It's Difficult to Govern When the President is Solely Focused on Causing Harm
– I'm not one to complain; I'm here to fight. I won't wallow in self-pity here, but it's difficult to govern in a country where the president is solely focused on causing harm, in every single matter. Whether it's the appointment of ambassadors, women's rights, or the restoration of judicial independence, and so on – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.
19:56
Tusk:
I'm Planning for Poland Under Trzaskowski and the October 15 Coalition. I'm Genuinely Optimistic.
– I want to plan for, and I am currently planning for, Poland under the presidency of Rafał Trzaskowski and with the October 15 Coalition in parliament and in government. Because I am genuinely optimistic about it – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on "Fakty po Faktach" TVN24.
19:58
Tusk:
If Kaczyński's Envoy Wins, We Face a Slugfest with the Government
– Imagine Poland in this rather dramatic context, which will once again be a state governed by a government that is constantly blocked by Kaczyński's envoy. One last thought on this, but we must call a spade a spade: Mr. Nawrocki, hired by Kaczyński for a war against the Polish government. They don't even hide it, they call it what it is, so if Nawrocki wins, instead of moving forward for 2.5 years, instead of building Poland's full security in solidarity, we'll have some kind of slugfest – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24.
19:59
Tusk on When the Tax-Free Allowance Will Be Raised:
This Is My Firm Promise.
– I am very keen on a higher tax-free allowance, because that was my postulate. […] My postulate, and I also made sure of this, was that we would not take a single zloty from people of what they received in recent years, and furthermore, despite such a gigantic debt incurred by PiS, we would finance […] 800+ – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.
– We took on the burden of financing 800+ with the debt already being gigantic at that time. It is we who are balancing, and this is indeed a very serious game, on such a safety margin […] this year, no [we won't be able to implement the tax-free allowance increase without exceeding the safety margin] – he continued.
– This is my firm promise that by the end of this term, I won't say if it will be next [year], because that will depend on how high the deficit remains. We cannot cross a certain threshold, because we will lose European funds; I have to calculate this every day – he added.
20:05
Tusk:
Ask Nawrocki About the Setup with Odra Opole Fans, Was It a Noble Fight?
– Invite Mr. Karol Nawrocki […] ask him publicly about, for instance, the setup with Odra Opole fans and about his actions, whether it was a noble fight. Let him try to answer, looking you in the eye, what his, how should I put it, activity involved – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24.
20:06
Tusk Announces 100 Deregulatory Laws:
Repeal of 120,000 Regulations.
— What I've prepared is already almost ready; by the end of May, we will be ready with over 100 laws deregulating the Polish economy and administration, — Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach."
— Ultimately, in June or July, I will be asking the new president, just as I asked President Duda, whether he is ready to sign this deregulation package. Because consequently, we will be repealing 120,000 regulations. This is a consequence of adopting these over 100 laws, — he indicated.
— When we talk about changing and repealing these regulations, we are talking about freeing up the space that young people, politically, have fought for so long — for example, young entrepreneurs, but not only them, — he continued.
20:16
Tusk on Nawrocki:
The Coming Days Will Bring Further Surprises, Showing What’s at Stake.
– This is not an ordinary campaign, this is not an ordinary situation. After all, the coming days will bring further surprises and further information that will show what’s truly at stake – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24’s “Fakty po Faktach”.
– For the first time in Poland’s history, we have a situation where a man is running for president who does not hide, because he is unable to hide, direct links to the criminal underworld – he stated.
– This campaign, the proposals – all of it practically ceases to have any significant meaning when we are talking about such a fundamental choice. Folks, it’s 2025, there’s a war, these challenges are truly astronomical, the opportunities are astronomical, and suddenly Kaczyński puts forward someone about whom I can say with full conviction: this is the last person in public life who should be running for president – he continued.
20:31
Tusk's Cryptic Words About Nawrocki:
Open Your Eyes Wide. Pay Attention to the Questions That Still Remain Unanswered.
– I am telling you, all voters, just one crucial thing: Open your eyes wide. Listen carefully to what people are saying. They've been saying this for a long time. Pay attention to the questions for which there are still no answers – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach."
– But what do you mean, Mr. Prime Minister? Karol Nawrocki's connections with gangsters? – asked Piotr Kraśko.
– Is that not enough? We've been dealing with the criminal underworld in Tri-City for years. We have a situation involving Mr. Nawrocki's close associates, who are known for kidnapping women, putting sacks over their heads, blackmailing them for three days, or holding them chained to a radiator for several days, for example, to make them change their testimony. This is the kind of milieu, this is the kind of company. I don't know if more words are needed – Tusk continued.
– I realize how difficult it is nowadays to retain knowledge, given that every hour, every day, there are new sensations, new information, and the world is changing rapidly. People are overwhelmed, and sometimes they don't have time for such deeper reflection either – he added.
– But truly, for God's sake: this is our homeland. This is someone who will represent all of us in the world. This is someone who will be responsible for Poland's security, because he is the Commander-in-Chief. Because it is he who, in times of war, manages the Polish state in this most crucial dimension. Truly, let's come to our senses – appealed the Prime Minister.
20:40
– That is not true [about accepting migrants from Germany], but I am convinced that Mr. Sławomir Mentzen, perhaps because he is an opposition MP, lacks fundamental knowledge; it is precisely the opposite – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.
– The Border Guard received a very clear instruction from me to check every case; some are evident and mainly concern Ukrainians who have been in Poland for a long time. It is obvious and does not require any special investigation that when they try to take up illegal work in the West and are identified as these 'Polish Ukrainians,' they then return to Poland; I am not hiding this – he continued.
