At 8:30 AM, a press conference will be held in the Sejm by Law and Justice (PiS) MPs Andrzej Śliwka and Michał Woś.

At 10:30 AM, a press conference is scheduled at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage headquarters to summarize exhumation work in Puźniki. Participants will include Minister of Culture Hanna Wróblewska, as well as representatives from the Freedom and Democracy Foundation, Pomeranian Medical University, and the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN).

At 11:30 AM, a press conference will be held at the Ministry of National Education building by Minister Barbara Nowacka and Secretary of State Katarzyna Lubnauer regarding the directions of the state's educational policy for the 2025/2026 school year.

Also at 11:30 AM, but in the Sejm, a press conference by the Polish People's Party (PSL) is scheduled. MPs Miłosz Motyka and Jakub Stefaniak will speak.

At 1:00 PM, at the Presidential Palace, President Andrzej Duda, along with his spouse, will participate in a ceremony presenting state decorations and handing over national emblems and flags to humanitarian organizations on the occasion of Humanitarian Aid Day. An address by the head of state is planned.

Sejm on Trzaskowski's Campaign Funding

Wednesday marks the second and final day of the 35th Sejm sitting. Votes are scheduled for 9:00 AM, and current affairs questions for 9:05 AM. PiS politicians will question the Prime Minister about “interference in the elections through illegal financing of Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign”.

Meanwhile, Poland 2050 MPs will ask the Minister of State Assets a question concerning the depoliticization of State Treasury companies. Questions from PiS will also arise regarding the tenement house at Marszałkowska 66 street and the increase of the tax-free allowance.

At 11:15 AM, the Sejm will address a current information item “regarding possible irregularities in the financing of the electoral campaign before the 2025 presidential elections of the Republic of Poland, manifested by political advertisements that might have been paid for from abroad and bore the hallmarks of disinformation” submitted by Konfederacja (Confederation) to the Minister of Digitization.

At 12:45 PM, the second reading of a government bill concerning the introduction of a central energy market information system is scheduled. At 2:00 PM, first readings of government draft laws concerning income tax, goods and services tax, tax ordinance, the National Revenue Administration (KAS), and the Family and Guardianship Code are planned.

At 4:30 PM, the first reading of a parliamentary bill on the Farmers' Ombudsman will take place. Votes are scheduled for 6:00 PM, including one on the Prime Minister's information regarding Poland's participation in the solidarity mechanism defined by the migration pact.

Ministers at the Polish Economic Congress

At 9:00 AM, the Polish Economic Congress will begin at the Warsaw Presidential Hotel. At 9:15 AM, a discussion is planned with the participation of, among others, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and Minister of Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak. Then, at 10:00 AM, Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar will deliver an address titled “Efficient Justice System – Strong Economy”.

Also appearing at the Polish Economic Congress will be, among others, Minister of Health Izabela Leszczyna, Minister for Senior Policy Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz, Head of the Ministry of Development and Technology (MRiT) Krzysztof Paszyk, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers Maciej Berek, and Head of the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Policy (MRPiPS) Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk.

– I know nothing about it [that the PiS campaign team intends to target Rafał Trzaskowski with false accusations of drug use]. I don't know why "Gazeta Wyborcza" and Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign team are so agitated – stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

– I can guess, considering the accusations that have been leveled against Trzaskowski for years. I'll remind you what his former friend Michał Dziemba said many years ago about Trzaskowski's drug use; however, this matter was never discussed at the meetings of Karol Nawrocki's campaign staff – he continued.

— Karol Nawrocki's staff wasn't involved with this [the topic of drugs], but as for what happens with that envelope – we'll see. What am I supposed to be afraid of? The very unease of Rafał Trzaskowski's people and the 'Gazeta Wyborcza' journalists who support him speaks volumes about this matter — stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

– I am convinced that it will happen – said Barbara Nowacka in RMF FM's "Morning Conversation," when asked if there would be a government reshuffle.

– There's a real need; the prime minister, by the way, has repeatedly said that the government must be smaller, more efficient, and more effective. […] I think everyone sees that such a broad formula isn't entirely effective, and that things should be stronger, faster, more efficient, and better – she continued.

– This isn't about factions or coalition parties at all, but about a certain logic – she added.

– We are not preparing any bombshells [for Friday's debate]. Rather, it is institutions of the Polish state, special services, police, etc., etc. – institutions that are engaged in a fight against the civic candidate Karol Nawrocki. We have stated this many times; our MPs have filed an interpellation, in which they very specifically present dates and names of individuals from the ABW, for example, who were supposedly playing with dossiers – stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

— Deals are honored. And that agreement, which Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Speaker Szymon Hołownia, and Włodzimierz Czarzasty concluded among themselves, is currently binding. It is they who will eventually renegotiate it, but I see from the Left that they are interested in Włodzimierz Czarzasty being the Speaker, and I think the rest will simply uphold it like gentlemen — said Barbara Nowacka on RMF FM, when asked whether Szymon Hołownia would be the permanent Sejm Speaker or remain a rotating one.

– Karol Nawrocki very clearly stated the conditions for Poland's consent – his consent as president – for Ukraine's entry into NATO. This is simply unwavering, said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Renata Grochal on Polskie Radio 3’s program "Bez Uników".

– Karol Nawrocki very clearly stated that Ukraine could be in NATO, and in my assessment, it would be in Poland's interest, for Polish security, as it would protect our eastern border. However, very stringent conditions must be met. Today, it's difficult to even speak of the prospect of Ukraine's accession to NATO. Ukraine is currently a party to an armed conflict, he continued.

– For me, these are still token gestures [regarding the exhumations of the victims of the Volhynian massacre]; there is no breakthrough here. It's merely a tiny step. […] There is a lack of reflection in Ukraine on the need to settle accounts with its past. It's a bit like if Germany had not settled accounts with Hitler, and portraits of Hitler or flags with swastikas were still hanging in today's Germany. If you travel to Ukraine, black and red UPA flags hang everywhere, under which criminals murdered Poles, he continued.

– It seems to me that Tusk is profoundly desperate. This interview was probably not the best conversation Donald Tusk has had with a journalist. The fact that, just a day after the elections, his media supporters – Stankiewicz and Żakowski – called for his resignation, for him to end his mission as head of government, shows the spirit within the Civic Platform camp – stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

"I also hear such voices from the Razem party, I am convinced that if they finally decided to take shared responsibility, which they had, after all, been invited to do, then we are open to discussions," said Barbara Nowacka on RMF FM, when asked if Adrian Zandberg would join the ruling coalition, for example, as the housing minister.

– Soros's newspaper failed to mention that Jacek Karnowski is a close acquaintance of Donald Tusk. He was employed by the former mayor of Sopot, today a deputy minister in Donald Tusk's government. He admitted that he repeatedly drank alcohol with the current Prime Minister Tusk. Karol Nawrocki doesn't know him particularly well. I'm unaware of him vouching for him – stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

– I think that's a good move by Mentzen, a move focused on himself. It's very self-promoting for him, and one must admit, his PR team devised it well. But for Rafał Trzaskowski, it is indeed an opportunity for a direct conversation with Mentzen's voters, to persuade them on those points with which he will either agree or disagree – said Barbara Nowacka on RMF FM, when asked if Mentzen's declaration was a trap for Trzaskowski.

– I don't fear this [that Sławomir Mentzen will endorse Rafał Trzaskowski]. I am curious about this conversation, I am curious how Trzaskowski will explain his past statements and political moves – stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

“I’m very interested to see what Karol Nawrocki will do with this question. After all, Lech Kaczyński wanted Ukraine to be part of NATO, and it seems to me that every reasonable person knows that this is a very strong security buffer for us, given that we are a frontline state,” Barbara Nowacka said on RMF FM, when asked about the point “I will not sign the bill on the ratification of Ukraine's accession to NATO” from Mentzen’s declaration.

– First and foremost, Sunday's result demonstrated that, should this outcome hold and strengthen until 2027, it would be impossible to form a government without Konfederacja – and that is very good news for my political circles, said Anna Bryłka on Radio Wnet.

– Our goal is, of course, 2027 and securing the largest possible representation in the Polish Sejm. This is so that in this future Polish government, we are not a junior partner, not a mere side dish, but a partner in that government who truly influences what Poland will look like in the next term, she continued.

– Hundreds of thousands of zlotys are being donated by state-owned companies such as Orlen. I conducted a parliamentary oversight visit, and Orlen confirmed in writing that it had paid 300,000 zlotys to the 'Your Voice Is Important' Foundation. Similarly, PKO BP bank also contributed 300,000 zlotys to this foundation. But also [...] debt collection companies, individuals associated with debt collection firms, and developers donated hundreds of thousands of zlotys – said Andrzej Śliwka at a press conference.

– Curiously, the owners of these debt collection companies also have a history of donating to Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign. And, coincidentally, they donated the maximum permissible limits, around 70,000, 69,000 zlotys. Therefore, it is clear that we are dealing with a single group that aims to circumvent election campaign financing rules – he continued.

– Mr. and Mrs. Kaczmarski, and Mr. Krupa, donated to Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign. On the other hand, they are financing the Twój Głos Jest Ważny Foundation, and this foundation [...] outside of the established limits, leverages the election campaign to attack Rafał Trzaskowski's competitors. These materials do not state 'financed by Rafał Trzaskowski's election committee' – he further stated.

– There will be quite a lot of these meetings; we're starting in Warsaw, but I will also be meeting with young people in smaller urban centers, with young people who hold very different views, who voted for very different candidates, because that's precisely the point: to answer questions and for this discussion to be as honest as possible – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during a meeting with students at SGH.

– Generally, he's just so-so. He was briefly the head of the BBN (National Security Bureau). I wouldn't want to say too much, because it was during a crucial period when the war in Ukraine was ongoing, and those meetings were absolutely confidential, they were secret, which is why I cannot really disclose the information that was present there at that time – Mateusz Morawiecki said at a press conference when asked for his opinion on Jacek Siewiera.

– These are personnel matters. I can only say that within our narrow leadership of Law and Justice, yes, various doubts arose in my mind, and I shared them. I don't recall sharing them with President Duda – said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference, when asked whether he had previously shared his opinion on Jacek Siewiera with the rest of PiS's leadership and President Duda.

– I wouldn't want to say [what the basis of those doubts was]; I cannot, in fact, and I should not, due to the fact that a large part of my thoughts is related to meetings that were confidential in nature – he continued.

– "This stems from Mr. Siewiera's resentment after he lost the post as head of the BBN. No [he wasn't highly regarded], by whom, do you mean? Forgive me, but if you know more about this circle than I do… You may think so, but I believe I know my own milieu quite well, and he was, let's just say, viewed with skepticism," – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

"The Russians are constantly provoking, and that's precisely why we should speak with one voice on security matters. What I find very disturbing is that my competitor, Karol Nawrocki, challenges certain aspects of our foreign policy that have been sacrosanct until now, never questioned by anyone, such as Ukraine's NATO membership. All presidents have agreed on this," stated Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach."

He’s the kind of person you always avoided in school, who would take sandwiches from his friends and sweets from his sister, and you had to stand up and defend the weaker ones against such peers. – I'm backing Rafał Trzaskowski; I support him, I'm rooting for him, and I hope he wins – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" program, when asked who the favorite is in the presidential race.

– Our role is to say 'we support him', but our voters need to be convinced, and they need to be convinced by the things that are important to our voters, and we have very clearly communicated these things to Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski – she continued.

– Regarding the 0% interest loan, he said he would not sign it; regarding social housing, he said he supports it, but I will raise the issue that merely supporting it is not enough – funds must be provided for it, and currently, those funds are not being allocated […] There are also other important matters, such as the law on assistance for people with disabilities – she went on to say.

– No, absolutely, we will not be an easy meal for anyone to gobble up; we have our own DNA [...] That's the spectre of Nowoczesna. From the first day of our movement, I've been hearing that we are Nowoczesna. When we were founded, [they said] we wouldn't last a year, then that we wouldn't make it to the elections, then that we wouldn't get through the elections – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News, when asked if she didn't feel that Polska 2050 would be 'a very easy meal for Civic Platform (PO) to gobble up' and about what happened with Nowoczesna previously.

I cannot imagine [engaging] with an antisemite who repeats such theses, which should never appear in the public sphere – stated Rafał Trzaskowski on "Fakty po faktach" TVN24.

– I am going there [to talk to Sławomir Mentzen] because this way I will be able, I hope, in a certain sense, to indirectly speak with Sławomir Mentzen's voters. To calmly explain my position, because many of them have a distorted image of me due to the propaganda that has dominated Poland for years, and also because they often watch the pseudo-television Republika, – stated Rafał Trzaskowski on 'Fakty po Faktach' TVN24.

"Just now, a moment ago, I received an SMS – the law on apartment price transparency is leaving the Sejm and being sent to the president. Mr. President, we are counting on a swift signature. What was impossible for 30 years is now possible," said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News.

– Because he is a better candidate, and this candidate is, after all, better for Poland. It's a swift endorsement, but it's not an endorsement that comes without expectations. [...] Szymon Hołownia met with Rafał Trzaskowski and presented what matters to the voters of Polska 2050 – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News, when asked why Szymon Hołownia had endorsed Rafał Trzaskowski so quickly.

– "Yes, I'd be very keen to talk with Adrian Zandberg. I hope he will respond to my meeting request. I don't expect a direct endorsement, though I'd be delighted by one, but I would like to talk with Adrian Zandberg," Rafał Trzaskowski stated on "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.

– I have known the minister for many, many years, and we have spoken many times, because our work also overlapped on city security and state security. I asked him if he would advise me, because continuity is very much needed when it comes to security matters, and also, of course, I would like to be able to rise above these immediate political divisions and work, so I am very pleased that the minister agreed to advise me – stated Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24.

– Sławomir Mentzen, as we know, has a completely different idea of where Poland's best interest lies. For example, he apparently believes that Poland's best interest is somewhere closer to Russia, further from Ukraine, and further from the European Union. Meaning, he is by no means a model for me of someone who cares for Poland's best interest – Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said on Polsat News, when asked about Sławomir Mentzen's comments regarding Hołownia 'ceding voters for nothing.'

– We are talking about how to convince [Szymon Hołownia's voters to Rafał Trzaskowski] […] we strongly recommend that words alone are not enough; here, the low-hanging fruit is rent. Money should be available for subsidies and investments in social housing to be launched, but today they are simply blocked, I don't know why – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News.

– "Many things unite us when it comes to housing issues. I would be very pleased if Adrian Zandberg, somewhere, spoke between the lines, took responsibility for it, and supported the democratic side. I am ready to cooperate just as I do with Magdalena Biejat, and equally so with Adrian Zandberg. Yes, great, the best possible option for that to happen [for him to join the government]. I've even heard such statements coming from Zandberg himself," stated Rafał Trzaskowski on "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.

– I believe we’ll come to an understanding on most of these issues, because Sławomir Mentzen, that freedom-oriented side [of him], loves freedom. I also love freedom, and I am willing to discuss it. I think we’ll easily reach common ground on these matters – Rafał Trzaskowski stated on “Fakty po faktach” on TVN24.

– And that truly surprises me; I would also urge President Trzaskowski here, because this is our shared success and a lot of things are changing. Today, this agreement was just signed, thanks to which we already have 100 billion contracted from the KPO – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News, when asked if she didn't feel that the KPO topic was practically absent from the campaign.

— I don't believe there are any coincidences here; this is a provocation. The Russians should immediately restore these sacred symbols to us. I am very glad that Minister Sikorski reacted immediately, but it surprises me that Karol Nawrocki and the IPN have not reacted at all, because this is a scandalous matter. He should absolutely speak out, and I am counting on both President Andrzej Duda and Karol Nawrocki to speak out, and as soon as possible — said Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24.

"That's not how I operate. When there's a promise that I know cannot be fulfilled, even though people would very much want it to be, I honestly say: at this moment, it's difficult. This is how I joined the discussion about the four-day work week," said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News, when asked about a Civic Platform (PO) MP's words, "what's the harm in promising?"

"Precisely, it *does* harm. It's harmful because [...] firstly, it's untrue [...] and secondly, disappointment inevitably follows," she continued, when pressed on what harm there is in promising.

– Sławomir Mentzen invited me, so I'm going, simply to have a calm discussion. I won't sign anything blindly; I just want to discuss these proposals and, as I assume, other matters as well. For me, for example, the proposal stating that Ukraine should never become part of NATO is not something I agree to; it surprises me that Nawrocki wants to sign it – Rafał Trzaskowski said on TVN24.

“I spoke with Professor [Joanna Senyszyn] and we will certainly meet. Yes, there will be a meeting,” Rafał Trzaskowski stated on TVN24’s “Fakty po faktach.”

“Professor also said that such a direct transfer of endorsement doesn’t entirely work, but the postulates Professor spoke of are close to me. And besides, I truly appreciate her charm, sense of humor, composure, and ability to react. Brilliant. Truly, we could all learn how to conduct a campaign with such flair and ease,” he continued.

– I would also like to encourage everyone to turn out for the presidential runoff and cast their vote in the coming days. Both candidates from the presidential runoff will participate in interviews on Sławomir Mentzen's channel. These conversations will certainly provide a lot of information for making an informed decision before the runoff. My encouragement is that if someone is not convinced by either of these two candidates, they should vote against Rafał Trzaskowski, whom I consider a greater threat – stated Krzysztof Bosak, while presiding over the Sejm session.
