Wipler:
It's Clear These Elections Will Be a Referendum on Our Satisfaction with Tusk's Government
– [Should the right-wing voter vote for Mentzen] Because in the second round, he has a greater chance than Karol Nawrocki, because young Poles, the youngest Poles, will not vote [for Nawrocki]. There are only 2 out of several dozen who would have a different diagnosis. Today there are more polls where Mentzen has 46, 47, 48 percent in the second round and is approaching Rafał Trzaskowski – stated Przemysław Wipler on the program 'Graffiti' on Polsat News.
– It is increasingly evident that Rafał Trzaskowski is becoming, perhaps not like Ms. Marshal Kidawa-Błońska, who has fallen to 3%, but like Bronisław Komorowski; that he lacks energy, has poor contact with people, and is stiff. He has no idea for this campaign, he faltered in Końskie, and most importantly, it is increasingly clear that the presidential election will be a referendum on whether we are satisfied with Donald Tusk's government – he continued.
08:40
Bosak on TVP’s Role in Organizing the Debate in Końskie:
Let Them Post the Invoices Online and We’ll See.
– I would like the prosecutor's office to deal with this [the debate in Końskie], because I believe interesting things can be uncovered regarding how TVP effectively financed Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign – said Krzysztof Bosak during the “Morning Interview” on RMF FM.
– Let them post the invoices online and we’ll see. Anyone who has participated in costing any large television production knows how high the costs are, how many items there are, and how difficult it is to estimate them – he continued.
– The question is whether they over-costed it in the last hour before the event, when Rafał Trzaskowski yielded to pressure and decided to change the formula of his campaign team's event, because he realized he was in a very unfavorable situation where the public television, taken over by his party, was promoting him at the expense of all taxpayers – he went on.
08:50
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Duda's decision:
He doesn't sign the law, meaning he supports hate speech.
– I don't understand what's good about supporting hate speech. It's a bit difficult for me to understand why someone is so determined on this matter – Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program “Gość Radia Zet,” when asked about the president's decision regarding sending the hate speech bill to the Constitutional Tribunal.
– If someone sends a bill back, meaning it doesn't actually come into effect, then they are supporting… not signing it means supporting hate speech. I'm not particularly interested in his motivations, but of course, such a question should be directed to the president – she continued.
08:51
Bosak:
Trzaskowski is on the defensive. He cannot foresee the consequences of his actions, which means he is unfit to be president.
– Arrogance has been punished, as has a certain ruthlessness in using seized resources belonging to the entire nation, because TVP is a national good. They are simply using it for their campaign – said Krzysztof Bosak in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.
– This is a very unfortunate situation [the debate in Końskie], showing that the candidate [Rafał Trzaskowski] has found himself on the defensive – which demonstrates that he cannot foresee the consequences of his own actions, meaning that perhaps he is unfit to be president – he assessed.
08:57
Bosak:
Mentzen Acted Presidential by Not Going to Końskie. He Didn't Lose Out
– In my opinion, Sławomir Mentzen acted presidential. That is, seeing that he has significant support, he made commitments to voters – four meetings in Podkarpacie – and seeing that one big mess was brewing there [in Końskie], he didn't push himself into a situation that could put him in an unfavorable position. I believe he didn't lose out – said Krzysztof Bosak in the RMF FM "Morning Conversation.".
– He acted as a president should. Someone who is going to be president should not push themselves into situations that end in a scuffle with security. And such things were happening there – he assessed.
08:57
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Repolonization:
The Prime Minister Surprised, This Matter Was Not Discussed Coalition-Wise.
– I think more that the Prime Minister surprised, because this matter was not discussed coalition-wise. I will propose that a very important, strategic discussion about the economy be held at the Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in Radio Zet, when asked if the Prime Minister surprised the coalition partners with repolonization.
– I believe that the direction [...] which says: more Polish capital, more Polish investments in the Polish economy, is correct. This is a correct direction, the question is how we want to implement it. And now, certainly, it cannot mean re-nationalization, some centrally directed economy – she continued.
– We need to see which State Treasury companies are strategic and should be state-owned [...] while which ones are completely non-strategic, are, I apologize, generating positions for people and maybe it's time to give these companies back to the market, such as, for example, a hotel holding. [...] We need more stronger private Polish capital – she added.
09:07
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on KPO funds for housing:
There is a huge risk they won't be fully utilized.
– We are racing against time from the moment the KPO was unlocked, and I keep saying: we are doing everything possible to invest these funds as well as possible and to the greatest extent – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Radio Zet, when asked if we would manage to utilize the KPO funds.
– We are moving [funds] between investments that are already visibly not fitting in terms of time, to investments where there is huge demand and need, e.g., we are increasing funds for school insulation […]. We have KPO funds for social housing, and here there is a huge risk that these funds, if we do not take immediate action, will not be fully utilized. This is precisely the responsibility of the Ministry of Development – she continued.
– The issue is that the KPO funds are part of a financial package with domestic funds, and signing agreements must commence as soon as possible, meaning domestic funds for the subsidy fund; they disappeared at some point […] now a law has passed that allows for an increase in funds, to again top up this subsidy fund, and this really needs to be done immediately – she added.
09:10
– I don't have a preferred ministry, but I do have a preferred characteristic of a ministry where I'd like to have a say – one where something good can be done for people – said Krzysztof Bosak in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM, responding to a listener's question: "If you form a coalition with PiS, what would you want to be minister of?".
– Sławomir Mentzen wants to fight for finances in potential negotiations […]. He is the only one among our politicians who clearly indicates which area he would like to occupy. I have broad interests. Currently, I am on the Foreign Affairs Committee, so foreign affairs, but I am also strongly interested in defense and economic matters. If you take foreign affairs, European affairs, economic affairs, defense, and security-related matters, you already have almost all ministries – he continued.
– I won't give any specific indications of my own; I am ready to serve on any front. A politician must be flexible – he pointed out.
09:16
Wipler on Trzaskowski's Campaign:
Końskie Was a Turning Point in This Campaign, It Undermined Him.
– Nothing has gotten away from us, and nothing new has arrived. I think the key choices of Poles will be made until the last day, until the last moment of this campaign, and we will have a much better sense of where we stand, aside from how we sense the crowds coming to rallies with Sławomir Mentzen, because the number of people is constantly growing, and for us, I can say it's shocking, continuously surprising – said Przemysław Wipler in Polsat News.
– Końskie was a turning point in this campaign, but a turning point because it undermined, clipped Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign and initiated his and his staff's problems; they constantly have to explain the illegal financing of this trip – he added.
09:17
Wipler on the PKW Subsidy Situation:
They Want to Take Money from the Party Whose Candidate Has the Best Chance to Defeat Trzaskowski.
– I have gone through this several times, we have worked and continue to work with the best lawyers in this field, and usually, until now, we have always won before the Supreme Court in such situations – stated Przemysław Wipler on Polsat News.
– Two days before the deadline, the financial report signed by the auditor working for our campaign team was submitted to the National Electoral Commission. We are raising this in our complaint. They had it, and they are looking for legal loopholes to take money away from the opposition party whose candidate has the greatest chance of winning against Trzaskowski in the second round – he continued.
09:22
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on the KPO:
This Year We Will Invest PLN 90 Billion.
– At this moment, we have over 670,000 signed agreements, which shows how many beneficiaries there are. This year, we will invest PLN 90 billion, with a huge acceleration in the first three months, as we have already contracted several tens of billions – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Radio Zet, when asked how much of the KPO funds we have utilized.
09:28
– As of today, there is absolutely no talk of that […] there is no struggle […] these are some kinds of searches for conflicts where there are absolutely none – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Radio Zet when asked if she would like to become the leader of Poland 2050 and if there was a struggle for succession after Szymon Hołownia.
– I understand that various rumors are circulating, but there is no such thing, there is absolutely no conflict between me and Minister Hennig-Kloska, and there is no war here. We cooperate very well – she continued, when asked about rivalry with Paulina Hennig-Kloska.
09:32
Wipler:
We Can Tell Poles It's Time to End the Dramatic Choice Between Civic Platform and Law and Justice
– From our perspective, these elections are a moment when we can tell Poles that it's time to end the dramatic choice between Civic Platform and Law and Justice that we've had for 20 years – said Przemysław Wipler on Polsat News.
– This is the moment for change, and this is Sławomir Mentzen, showing that we are cutting ties with what must change in the country after several decades, and significantly, the political class and the way politics is conducted. And the most important thing Sławomir Mentzen can do in the Presidential Palace is to initiate systemic change, because we need a new constitution – he added.
09:33
Bosak:
I'm Not Saying I Liked Braun's Hospital Action. However, It Provoked the Discussion We Needed
– I believe that it [Grzegorz Braun's action in the Oleśnica hospital] drew attention to a problem that was insufficiently articulated in the media and initiated a debate that was previously constrained by self-censorship. […] I didn't say [that I liked it], but I believe it provoked a discussion, and I think this effect of an open discussion on this topic is something we needed – said Krzysztof Bosak in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.
– We should not remain silent about this situation. […] A hospital is not a place to terminate a child in the 9th month of pregnancy with a poison injection directly into the heart. These are practices that remind me of Auschwitz – he assessed.
– We are no longer together politically, we are even rivals in this campaign. But I believe that to interpret this correctly, one must take into account that we are dealing with a director who is aware of how to use dramaturgy and the form of public action – he noted.
– It seems to me that we are dealing with a symbolic action primarily, and I believe that this symbolic action has initiated a debate on a very important issue – he indicated.
09:38
– This is not in the coalition agreement; it is not a government stance. […] Polska 2050 did not put forward such a postulate; we always spoke about: thriftiness – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Radio Zet, when asked about the four-day work week.
– I will then ask for statistics on what it means for pension levels, what it means for GDP growth, the competitiveness of the Polish economy, the strength of the Polish economy, and the budget deficit – she continued, when asked if there would be a dispute within the coalition if this idea were to be discussed in government.
– I want to see responsible statistics detailing the consequences for pension levels, salary levels, Poland's development, and the budget deficit. I will ask for such statistics because, in my opinion, they will be very worrying – she went on to say.
09:40
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:
Loan Subsidies Are Off the Table Thanks to Poland 2050. Even The Left Was Ready to Accept Them
– There are no loan subsidies, and that's thanks to Poland 2050, because even the Left was prepared, as we recall, to accept those Siamese twin bills, meaning one zloty for social [housing] and one zloty for loans [subsidies for housing loans]. We said 'no' from the very beginning, and it wasn't easy – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Radio Zet.
– There is opposition, we will not vote […] I oppose this in the government, I say no. […] There will be no loan subsidies – she continued, when asked about the "First Keys" program.
– We keep pushing it out the door, and they try to get it back in through the window. I am surprised by the determination of some coalition partners, including the largest coalition partner, on this matter, but no. Just no. And we succeeded, housing prices are falling, and I hope it continues this way – she added.
09:52
Bosak:
We must be very careful in the abortion debate, but we also cannot repeat the mistakes of the Western right
– I have significant doubts about how to discuss such a topic, how to initiate this discussion. I think it is natural that we all have doubts on this matter – said Krzysztof Bosak in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.
– Because if we are too cautious, it is possible that a more brutally acting pro-abortion lobby will simply impose political correctness on all of us. On the other hand, if we are too radical, not to say brutal, it is possible that society will see something else from the views based on love for mother and child, on the desire to protect this good – it will see aggression, ruthlessness, fanaticism. That is what we are accused of – he stated.
– That is why I believe that we must be very careful, very responsible in this debate, but we also cannot be too conservative, because the Christian right and generally people who are pro-life in the Western world have made these mistakes, and a consensus has been established, also by eliminating voices from the discussion, where children are simply killed without any limits, reasons, based on caprice, whim. And it is treated as a topic that must not be discussed – he continued.
10:06
Balcerowicz on Tusk’s Government’s Economic Policy:
We Have a Continuation of PiS-ism.
– For some time now, he has stopped surprising me. And if he does surprise me, it's rather negatively, at least what he says. As for economic policy itself – I’m not talking about other areas, because there are positive changes there, perhaps thanks to Bodnar – but regarding economic policy, we have a continuation of PiS-ism, meaning the maintenance of a large state sector, i.e., state-owned companies which, as we now hear from Tusk, should not strive for profit. This reminds me of propaganda in socialism – stated Leszek Balcerowicz on PR3.
10:12
Balcerowicz:
The Finance Minister's Pathetic Statement
– He will not cover [the deficit in the National Health Fund after changes to health contributions], unless he is a hidden billionaire. Frankly speaking, this is a pathetic statement from the Finance Minister, who presides over or is responsible for a huge deficit. So, he will not sweep this problem under the rug – stated Leszek Balcerowicz on PR3.
10:13
Balcerowicz:
Domański is a Party Minister
– The very fact that the current Minister of Finance has resigned from his previous position as an independent expert and joined Civic Platform (PO) suggests that he is rather a party economist or minister – stated Leszek Balcerowicz on PR3.

Bodnar and Kaleta Exchange Blows:
A Problem Poisoning Public Debate and Fueling Violence" vs. "A Tool to Punish Criticism of Leftist Ideology.
– The fight against hate speech is not an "ideology." It's an attempt to deal with one of the most serious problems of social life in Poland. Everyone can see it – hate speech poisons public debate, interpersonal relationships, and social interactions. Increasingly, it is a source of violence, contempt, and human harm – wrote Adam Bodnar on the X portal.
– The fight against hate speech is not contrary to the Polish Constitution. It's quite the opposite – protecting the weaker and excluded is one of the pillars of our fundamental law. It is also one of the fundamental European values – he continued.
– The President did not surprise. It's a shame. He refused to sign a bill that is meant to protect us all, and most importantly, those who are almost daily targets of hate and hateful attacks today – indicated the Minister of Justice.
– I declare that I will not give up on this project! I will stand on the side of citizens affected by hate speech and its serious consequences. What is delayed is not lost – he stated.
Walka z mową nienawiści to nie "ideologia". To próba poradzenia sobie z jednym z najpoważniejszych problemów życia społecznego w Polsce. Każdy to widzi – mowa nienawiści zatruwa debatę publiczną, relacje międzyludzkie, stosunki społeczne. Coraz częściej jest źródłem przemocy,…
— Adam Bodnar (@Adbodnar) April 18, 2025
Sebastian Kaleta responded to Adam Bodnar's post.
As the PiS MP writes: – Hate speech in your hands has become an ideological pretext, a tool to intimidate and punish critical opinions towards leftist ideology.
– Just look at the current practice of your subordinates. You send the Police across half of Poland for an elderly woman because she wrote a critical comment about Owsiak, and your government systematically organizes hatred and aggression poured out under the sign of eight stars, the manifestations of which are ignored by the prosecution – stated the former Deputy Minister of Justice.
– With this law, it would be even worse. For criticizing the leftist vision of the world, for example, refusing to recognize hundreds of different genders and pronouns, your team would want to prosecute people, justifying it precisely with "hate speech." […] Therefore, the louder you shout about the necessity of fighting hate speech, the more one should fear for basic rights and freedoms, in this case, freedom of speech – he assessed.
Mowa nienawiści w waszych rękach stała się wytrychem ideologicznym, narzędziem do zastraszania i karania za krytyczne opinie wobec lewackiej ideologii.

Trzaskowski After Meeting with Congressmen:
Strengthening the Polish-American Alliance is in our National Interest.
“Strengthening the Polish-American alliance is in our national interest. It is crucial to maintain good relations with both Republicans and Democrats – because our ally is the United States, not this or that administration” – Rafał Trzaskowski wrote on X.
“In Warsaw, I hosted a delegation of American congressmen led by Keith Self, a Republican member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, accompanied by Democrats Derek Tran and Tim Kennedy” – he continued.
“Good political relations. Cooperation on security issues. Strong economic ties – including major American investments in Poland and its capital. This is our common interest” – he emphasized.
Wzmacnianie sojuszu polsko-amerykańskiego to nasza racja stanu. Kluczowe, żeby utrzymywać dobre relacje zarówno z Republikanami, jak i Demokratami – bo naszym sojusznikiem są Stany Zjednoczone, nie ta czy inna administracja.

Hołownia’s New Campaign Spot:
Let’s Choose Courage and Responsibility.
“I am a mother and a military pilot. I know what responsibility and service mean. Szymon isn’t involved in politics for money, nor for fame. He’s doing it because he knows that people in Poland must be safe. I know they deserve a brave, righteous, and honest president,” says Urszula Brzezińska-Hołownia in the new campaign spot for the Third Way candidate for president.
“We want a safe country where our children can grow up and live peacefully. This is our goal. Let’s choose courage, let’s choose responsibility, let’s choose our president, let’s choose Szymon Hołownia,” she continues.

Hołownia on Veterans:
I Will Do Everything to Work on Things That Are Important to Them.
– We have over 100,000 people in Poland with veteran status, of which less than 1,000 are individuals who have been injured while serving the homeland in a Polish uniform outside our country's borders. We must work, and I, from a political standpoint, will do everything to work on things that are very important to them today. Only slightly over 100 of them, those injured, are entitled to rehabilitation stays, to benefits that everyone who, while serving in a Polish uniform, sustained wounds or injuries should be entitled to – stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
14:02
Hołownia Sharply Criticizes President's Decision on Hate Speech Bill:
Let Him Stop Spinning Nonsense About It Being a Legal Flop.
– I heartily recommend that the President, before making such decisions next time, talk to those who have been affected by hate, whose lives have been destroyed by online hate, which has led them to very difficult decisions. Let him talk to the parents of these children whose lives have been destroyed by online hate, which has led to suicide attempts, and let him stop spinning nonsense about it being a legal flop – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
14:03
Hołownia:
This Campaign Started a Week Ago in Końskie, Now Anything Can Happen
– Exactly what I've been saying for six months, and none of you believed me, is coming true. This campaign will be decided on the final lap, and we've just learned when it began. It started a week ago in Końskie, now anything can happen, so buckle up, buy plenty of popcorn, be very vigilant, and don't worry about one poll or another, because they will still be fluctuating back and forth – stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
14:04
Hołownia on Secretary Rubio's statement regarding the renunciation of peace talks:
It's a game.
– I assess this as another element of the negotiation strategy, another point in the negotiations, intended to make clear, as I understand it to those on the other side of the table, that the United States is determined today. These negotiations are ongoing, they will continue, and they will likely take on many different forms and have many different twists and turns – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
– It's a game, so I would treat this type of statement as a game. It is in the geopolitical interest of the United States for this conflict in Ukraine to end, because they want to have free hands for other actions as well – he added.
18:45
Kamiński Accuses Officials Subordinate to Kidawa-Błońska of Espionage:
Ubeck-like Things Are Happening in the Senate.
– Today in politics, I encountered a situation that has never happened to me before. My driver was asked to report on me, he was asked by officials of the Senate of the Republic subordinate to Madam Marshal Kidawa-Błońska – said Michał Kamiński in the TVN24 program “Tak jest” (This Way).
– My Senate driver refused to report on me, he said he would not provide information about my illnesses […], my family life, where I go […] with whom I meet, he refused to give Madam Kidawa’s officials this private information about me. He was informed that consequently, he might not be working with me anymore – he continued.
“I Will Show All of Poland How Information About My Illness Is Extorted Under the PO Government”
– These Civic Platform people are so arrogant that they even sent this in writing, and today at 9 PM on my YouTube program, I will show all of Poland how, under the Civic Platform government in the Senate, there is an attempt to extort private information about my illness from drivers – the Deputy Marshal of the Senate further stated.
– If Madam Kidawa-Błońska wanted to know if I am healthy or sick […] she could have asked me, not sent people to spy on drivers […]. These are not European standards, Madam Marshal Kidawa-Błońska. […] My driver in the Senate refused to report daily on what I do. […] His manager [asked him to do it], and then his manager sent him a letter about it – he added.
– The Civic Platform people will not ask me if I feel healthy, if I am well, but they want to ask the driver, they want to spy on my health. This is vile, disgusting, and I find no words for such behavior, to oblige drivers in writing to spy. Is this to be the smiling, European Poland? For God’s sake, surely not – he emphasized.
“I Expect Apologies and Resignations”
– I tried to contact her, but the Head of the Chancellery of the Senate, as usual, has not been answering since morning; she knew that I was requesting contact on an important matter, but she hasn't contacted me yet, and she doesn't need to anymore. […] I only expect apologies and resignations from those people who are responsible for me and Madam Biejat, because it concerns her too, our drivers being forced to reveal things about us that no one has the right to access – said the politician from Trzecia Droga (Third Way).
– This raises the question, of course, whether it only concerned me and Madam Biejat, or other senators, or perhaps the Madam Marshal is demanding other private information about other senators from other officials. […] Or perhaps there are, for example, questions about what senators […] who are being driven are discussing – he mentioned.
“Ubeck-like Things Are Happening in the Senate, This is an Ubeck History”
– I assume that the Marshal of the Senate, either this is her decision, I would be surprised, but if it is her decision, it will have serious political consequences, or it is the case that the Madam Marshal […] simply does not control the Senate, in which ubeck-like things are happening, because this is an ubeck history – Kamiński added.
– I assume that the Madam Marshal has nothing to do with this […] if it were otherwise […] I would have nothing to look for in this group. Certainly. I hope that since the Madam Marshal has nothing to do with this, she will draw consequences against the individuals who are using such ubeck methods – he emphasized.
19:11
Kamiński:
European Integration Has No Alternative. A Weak EU Means a Strong Putin
– Truly, European integration has no alternative. It simply has no alternative, and anyone who, as some people on the Polish right keep repeating, says 'Europe this, Europe that,' or compares Europe to the Soviet Union, like Czarnek does, is telling a lie, a morally reprehensible, historical lie – Michał Kamiński stated on TVN24.
– One cannot compare the European Union to the Soviet Union; for moral reasons, one must not do it, because the Soviet Union was criminal, it murdered its opponents. And if the Polish right speaks this way, they are talking nonsense, because there is no alternative to European integration – he continued.
– This means they are keeping their fingers crossed for Putin; it's a system of connected vessels; if the Union is weak, Putin will be strong – he went on to say, when asked about "those who are keeping their fingers crossed for the weakening of the European Union."
19:16
Kamiński:
Rubio Deeply Understands the Russian Threat
– I observe Marco Rubio's rhetoric and actions very clearly, and I know him personally, as well as many of his close collaborators. I have no shadow of a doubt that Marco Rubio [...] absolutely understands the Russian threat well – Michał Kamiński said on TVN24.
– He is Cuban. His brothers and sisters suffer under a communist regime, which is directly supported by Putin. Believe me, he understands this perfectly – he continued.
19:49
Biejat Responds to Kamiński's Words:
I Will Seek Clarification from the Senate Chancellery.
"I have received the information shared by Marshal Kamiński in the media with concern. If it is true that someone expected drivers to surveil coalition partners and report on their health status, then this is a scandal. I will turn to the Senate Chancellery for clarification," wrote Magdalena Biejat on the X platform.

19:50
Kidawa-Błońska on Kamiński's words:
I don't understand these emotions, I hope he apologizes.
– I know that the manager in charge of cars and drivers' work needs this data to arrange schedules. Perhaps the letter is precisely written, but the point is that if the Marshal goes on vacation or doesn't come to work for a few days, the driver can undertake other duties during that time – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska on the program "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.
– That's all it's about, so I don't understand Mr. Kamiński's emotions, and I hope he simply apologizes to me and the entire Senate Chancellery for making such false accusations — she added.
19:51
Senate Chancellery's Statement After Kamiński's Words:
The Goal Was Not to Monitor the Activity of Deputy Speakers.
“In connection with the statement by Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Michał Kamiński, the Senate Chancellery informs that the correspondence in question was conducted between the dispatcher of drivers employed in the Administrative Office and the drivers serving all Deputy Speakers of the Senate” – the Senate Chancellery announced.
“The purpose of this communication was solely to improve work organization and effectively manage the drivers' time. We strongly emphasize that it was not intended to monitor the activity of the Deputy Speakers in any way” – reads the statement.

Siemoniak on Alleged Kamiński Surveillance:
A Storm in a Teacup.
– I think it's a storm in a very small teacup, and the senators should sort it out amongst themselves. I am very surprised that Marshal Michał Kamiński, a very experienced parliamentarian, did not simply call the Marshal and ask what was happening if he was concerned about anything – stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24.
– The matter certainly needs to be clarified. If someone here abused or phrased something awkwardly, they should apologize for it, but it seems to me that the significance of this matter is indeed such that it should remain in the Senate, it should be clarified – he continued.
20:16
Siemoniak on the Situation in Oleśnica Involving Braun:
Scandalous Behavior, He Feels Impunity.
– The behavior was scandalous, of course. Unfortunately, Grzegorz Braun has accustomed us to such scandals, to vile actions, to aggression, and these matters that are in the prosecutor's office, this case of his immunity in the European Parliament, should definitely be expedited, because he feels impunity – said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24.
20:17
Siemoniak:
We will demand that the German government cease border controls
– There are no secret talks, that is complete nonsense. I don't know on what basis President Kaczyński is telling such stories at all. Besides, anyone who is even slightly interested in politics knows that there is no new German government. It should be formed in the first days of May, and then, possibly, we will hold talks on various topics, as neighbors do – stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24.
– The real problem at the Polish-German border, which we are struggling with, is that Germany has for a long time been implementing controls that are not permanent, but are selective and painful for our citizens. We will demand that the German government, in the spirit of Schengen, in the spirit of the European Union, cease this – he added.

Tusk:
The Higher the Ratings of Rafał, Szymon, and Magda, the Better for Poland. Let's All Keep Our Fingers Crossed for Them
– My last political remark before the holidays. The higher the ratings of Rafał, Szymon, and Magda, the better for Poland. So let's keep our fingers crossed for all of them. It will be alright! – wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on the X portal.
Ostatnia przed świętami polityczna uwaga. Im wyższe notowania Rafała, Szymona i Magdy, tym lepiej dla Polski. Więc trzymajmy za nich wszystkich kciuki. Będzie dobrze!
