– There is a very good atmosphere surrounding Poland. Yesterday’s words from President Trump at the press conference, which the entire world certainly watched, during that meeting with the media, when asked about Poland, he said he was actually obligated to Poland, about our security policy, what a member of NATO we are, that we fulfill our commitments, that in effect we are an example for others, and that he remembers our country, has us in his heart. In these very difficult times, when so much is being said about security matters, about future American policy, I am glad that I can boldly say – we are present in the American political consciousness, that concerning security issues – stated President Andrzej Duda before departing for the USA.

– President Trump decided to make an attempt. In my personal conviction, looking at past experiences, I see no other force in the world, besides the USA, capable of stopping Russian aggression – stated President Andrzej Duda before flying to the USA.

– There have been various attempts to bring about an end to the war in Ukraine. – During this time, the Normandy format was created, a European one, and discussions were held while doing business with Russia simultaneously. The Minsk agreements, about which one can say, I apologize, bla bla bla, nothing really came of them, certainly not for Ukraine, because it ended with the construction of Nord Stream 2 – he continued.

– We need to return to the table of talks, sit back down at the negotiation table. Volodymyr Zelensky should return to that table, calmly sit at that table, maintaining composure, and negotiate a solution that will make Ukraine safe – stated President Andrzej Duda before departing for the USA.
