Today at 10:35, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet with the CEO of Alphabet and Google, Sundar Pichai. Following the meeting, at 11:25, statements to the media are scheduled from the Prime Minister and the head of the American corporation.

Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz continues his visit to Brussels, where a North Atlantic Council meeting in the format of defense ministers will take place at NATO Headquarters. An informal NATO-Ukraine Council meeting is also planned. The meeting of the head of the Polish Ministry of National Defence with the media will be around 12:15.

At 11:00, a press conference of the leadership of the Institute of National Remembrance will be held concerning "untrue and manipulated information regarding the functioning of the IPN that has appeared in the media space." The announcement did not specify whether Karol Nawrocki will participate in the conference.

At 12:00, PiS-backed presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki will meet with the National Commission of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union "Solidarity" in Gdańsk, and at 16:30, he will lay flowers in front of the Monument to the Victims of Totalitarianism.

Civic Platform's presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski is visiting the Lublin Voivodeship. A press briefing is scheduled in Ulhówek for 12:45. Later, at 16:45, a meeting will begin in Biłgoraj.

A press conference of PiS MPs Paweł Szefernakier and Przemysław Czarnek is scheduled for 13:30.

– It is impossible to conclude peace with Putin on terms that would satisfy Putin, because it would be another Munich, and it is impossible to conclude peace in Ukraine over Europe's head. And yesterday's signal from, among others, the foreign ministers of the Weimar Triangle + Great Britain shows what Europe's position is on this matter – stated Sławomir Nitras in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

– I speak about the matter, not about people, specifically to draw attention to the issue, not to a quarrel, but in this particular matter, Mr. Lewandowski's superior has spoken, who has admitted that these funds went to flood victims – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in “Poranek TVP Info”, when asked about the words of the Deputy Minister of Development and Technology Tomasz Lewandowski, stating that not a single zloty from this year's budget for the housing construction program has been deducted.

– I wonder how one can be so out of touch with facts and it is unfortunate, because some scandal is being manufactured, instead of focusing on the fact that there is social housing, it is in our coalition agreement, people want it, we promised it, let's do it – she continued.

– In my opinion, when I look, yesterday I saw Mr. Musk in the Oval Office, I don't feel calmer. I would like to feel that responsible people have influence on the American administration, and it seems to me that Mr. Musk is lacking in this regard. He doesn't inspire my trust – stated Sławomir Nitras on Radio Zet.

– I wouldn’t say that [Szymon Hołownia should withdraw and support Rafał Trzaskowski]. Marshal Hołownia has the right to run in the presidential elections. He ran once, he has the right to run a second time, and public calls for someone to resign don’t strike me as elegant – stated Sławomir Nitras on Radio Zet.

– Those who constantly predict that something is wrong with the Third Way and that it will split, have themselves split, some have split, others have split, and we said from the very beginning: we are creating a cooperation between two different parties that differ on certain issues […] they know how to disagree in a civilized manner and they know how to agree – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

– The Third Way is constantly moving forward with these differences – she continued.

– This campaign [of Szymon Hołownia] is happening, it is taking place, but one must remember that it is also [...] very clearly separated and linked to the duties of the Marshal, who really very clearly distinguishes where he is the Marshal of the Sejm and performs this function very well [...] and only after fulfilling this public function does he conduct his campaign. And I think that this campaign, especially in the last two weeks, has been visible and will become increasingly visible – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

– It seems unlikely today, but if a situation were to arise where Szymon Hołownia faced the PiS candidate in the second round, he [Rafał Trzaskowski] would, without batting an eyelid, have no doubts as to whom to support and how. I would expect a similar declaration from Szymon Hołownia. We all remember 2020, and I harbour a deep hope that 2020 will not be repeated – stated Sławomir Nitras on Radio Zet.

– Yes [I am sure Rafał Trzaskowski will win]. But there is something else I am even more sure of. Nawrocki lacks presidential qualities. It's evident at every step. Poles have a certain idea of what a president should be, and Nawrocki simply doesn't possess those traits – stated Sławomir Nitras on Radio Zet.

– A huge appeal to President Glapiński. This is not about petty squabbles, please lower interest rates, because it will help the Polish budget, the Polish economy, and Polish borrowers – stated Sławomir Nitras on Radio Zet.

– We are appealing: Mr. President, it is time to think about the Polish economy, about the level of investment, about Polish entrepreneurs, and Polish borrowers – he continued.

– Frankly, I was surprised by the Prime Minister's address at the beginning of the week. The Prime Minister announced that he would present a plan regarding investments and economic development, and afterwards, his speech could be summarized in one sentence: he said nothing – stated Adrian Zandberg in the program "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

– I heard nothing concrete, no new investments from the Prime Minister, and that's the problem. Because it's not really about us finally building that one symbolic nuclear power plant, which PO-PiS [Civic Platform and Law and Justice] hasn't built for 20 years. We need 8 nuclear blocks before the coal-fired power plants shut down, before Bełchatów and other coal blocks, on which the economy stands today, are technologically exhausted – he continued.

– I have a feeling I've seen this conference before, back in 2008. Only then Brzoska was called Palikot, and a pro-state commission was appointed, which yielded nothing. I feel that the Prime Minister is replaying the same media stunts, but that content is again lacking – said Adrian Zandberg in Polsat News.

– This is a curiosity to me; if I remember correctly, Rafał Brzoska hasn't won any elections in Poland. It is the responsibility of the governing politicians to have projects, proposals for changes. I saw the Prime Minister of the Republic who, after a long speech, admitted to his helplessness – he continued.

– Then, at the end, he saw a billionaire in the room and thought: well, since I don't have an idea of what to do, maybe this guy will do it for me – he emphasized.

– The United Nations and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization are responsible for forming peacekeeping forces. Poland certainly should not make such decisions unilaterally, nor should it push itself to the forefront in this matter for obvious reasons. That is why international organizations and defense alliances exist, that is why we participate in them – stated Adrian Zandberg in Polsat News.

– I think that today the fundamental signal [from the US] for us is that we must take care of our resilience. This means that there may be more crisis situations, I'm not talking about open armed conflict, but various types of crisis situations. And in Poland, we are in the dark when it comes to resilience – said Adrian Zandberg on Polsat News.

– I'm not just talking about areas like civil defense and population protection, where, unfortunately, Poland is not prepared today not only for conflict, but is actually unprepared to protect the civilian population, even in the event of natural disasters. We saw this recently when there were floods in the south of the country – he added.

– We should identify, and the government should have done so yesterday, those areas of the economy where strategic production needs to be relaunched, and do it. And what are we actually doing? In reality, there was money from the European Union to launch pharmaceutical plants in Poland, and the government gave up that money for launching pharmaceutical plants, and instead decided to allocate it to subsidies for electric cars. This is simply unreasonable – stated Adrian Zandberg on Polsat News.

– Enough of this circus. In the Ministry of National Defence (MON), instead of people who deal with the art of diplomacy and security issues, we have individuals who engage in circus art. How else can one describe Minister Tomczyk, for example, who is a close associate of Rafał Trzaskowski. Just like him, he is ultimately the vice-chairman of Civic Platform (PO), responsible for infrastructure and logistics, and this man lost over 200 mines that were circulating around Poland – stated Andrzej Śliwka at a press conference.

– Similarly, in the MON, we are dealing with people who, when they spoke, when they predicted something, it never came true – he continued.

– It was Mr. Tomczyk, as spokesperson for Prime Minister Kopacz, a close associate of Rafał Trzaskowski and Donald Tusk, who said that Poland was capable of accepting any number of migrants, and what is happening? One could say that Mr. Tomczyk has changed his position, but his views on this matter have not changed – added the PiS MP.

– There are no armament contracts that they talked about. Last year, PLN 20 billion from the Armed Forces Support Fund was not spent, despite the fact that these funds were secured. They did not spend these funds; we are dealing with an unprecedented situation after 1989 – said Śliwka.

– We have no doubt that this mass attack is a result of the fact that the President of the Institute of National Remembrance, using his constitutional, democratic rights, has decided to run for the highest office in the Republic of Poland. The Institute of National Remembrance is being dragged, despite not being a participant in the election campaign, into the political games of forces that are hostile to the institute – stated Karol Polejowski, Deputy President of the IPN, at a press conference.

– I would like to direct my words to all liars and manipulators. If you think that by formulating your lies, manipulations, and insinuations, you will discourage us from our work, clip our wings, or intimidate us, I want to tell you that you are mistaken. The Institute of National Remembrance is an independent institution of the Polish state, which will consistently and with full determination carry out the tasks assigned to us as described in the IPN Act – stated Rafał Leśkiewicz, the spokesperson for the IPN, at a press conference.

– Today, we are announcing the signing of a new memorandum on the utilization of artificial intelligence in the fields of energy, cybersecurity, and other areas. We anticipate that this will contribute to an 8% increase in Poland's GDP. We will also be expanding our training programs, which are ultimately intended to reach over one million Poles – stated Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet and Google.

– We are creating frameworks that will also enable greater engagement, including investment, from Google in Poland, but what is most important to us in this cooperation is not just access to the most modern technologies from the state's perspective – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a briefing with the CEO of Alphabet and Google, Sundar Pichai.

– Of course, this has significance for state security. Here, I wanted to express my sincere thanks. This is not our first conversation, and Google is so heavily involved in cybersecurity. I don't need to tell anyone how important this is nowadays, especially here in Poland, so that in this technological race, Poland, also thanks to our cooperation, is one of the leaders in Europe. And thank you for these words – the Prime Minister continued.

– These words are also important for the young people we spoke with, as well as for all young entrepreneurs in Poland, those from the smallest companies, from medium-sized ones. The words that Poland is a leader from Google's perspective, a leader in Europe, and the most interesting place for investment – he added.

– We discussed deregulation and competitiveness. Google can also be part of this grand, ambitious project, which is the deregulation of the European and also Polish economy and administration – emphasized the head of government.

On Thursday in Gdańsk, a programmatic agreement was signed between Karol Nawrocki and the National Commission of NSZZ Solidarność, represented by its chairman, Piotr Duda.

As part of the aforementioned agreement, the presidential candidate supported by PiS stated that if he wins the presidential election, he will, “using all available tools,” be “implementing a policy based on the values of dialogue and the social teachings of the Catholic Church.”

Karol Nawrocki declared that he would pursue policies aimed at, among other things, maintaining the current retirement age, the 13th and 14th pensions, and a growing minimum wage. He also stated that he would submit a motion to the Senate to hold a referendum on the Green Deal.

Piotr Duda, on behalf of NSZZ Solidarność, declared his support for Karol Nawrocki and stated that he would appeal for support for this candidacy to members and sympathizers of Solidarność, their families, and all citizens who share “common values.”

– A plan to enhance rapid response capabilities has been adopted. We agreed, it wasn't easy, negotiations lasted until the last moment, but the NATO plan for rapid response capabilities has been adopted. In practice, this means an increase in protection capabilities, especially for NATO's eastern flank, particularly Poland, by all allied forces. Allied unity is emphasized and preserved here – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press briefing in Brussels.

– I am making a clear declaration that the Social Dialogue Council will be a forum for me, which as president I will strengthen and which I will listen to, and I will heed the voice of the Social Dialogue Council, because Poland needs dialogue today – said Karol Nawrocki during a meeting with the National Commission of NSZZ Solidarność in Gdańsk.

– This hand will not sign an increase in the retirement age for women and men. I will defend bridge pensions in their 2024 form. I promise, I will not let the 13th and 14th pensions be taken away – said Karol Nawrocki during a meeting with the National Commission of NSZZ Solidarność in Gdańsk.

– I believe that with Piotr Duda and with you, with the members of Solidarity, when we jointly decide that I will become the President of the Republic and I will order […] a referendum on the Green Deal and eco-terrorism, I am convinced that together, thanks to Solidarity, Poles will also win this referendum and reject this eco-madness – said Karol Nawrocki during a meeting with the National Commission of NSZZ Solidarność.

– I will order this referendum, once we jointly win the presidential election – he continued.

– The international situation is so serious that we cannot afford internal squabbles over our security. I call on all political forces and leaders to suspend disputes concerning the war and peace in Ukraine and to unite against threats from the East. – The migration pact prepared in the European Union, which PiS worked on for many, many months, we clearly state that there is no agreement for this pact to enter into force as far as Poland is concerned. We have done our part; we have accepted millions of Ukrainians – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– As Minister for European Affairs, I clearly included in EU documents that if we take responsibility for European borders, if we help Ukraine, then of course no relocation should concern us, and that is exactly how it will be; these provisions will not apply to Poland – he continued.

– For now, there is no peace plan yet. All politicians responsible for European security will be in Munich this weekend, myself included, where we will discuss security issues. Even there, this plan will likely not be ready yet, so let's wait for a concrete plan – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– Poland is safe, but historical experience teaches us that we must primarily focus on taking our fate into our own hands, investing in our security, and being as self-sufficient as possible – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Biłgoraj.

– Alliances are incredibly important, both in the European Union and in NATO, and we must strengthen these alliances. But we must also do everything to demonstrate to those who wish us ill that if they ever thought of attacking us, they would simply break their teeth on us – he continued.

– Putin is breaking his teeth on Ukraine and he must know that if he ever thought of destabilizing a country as strong, with such a tradition of resisting Muscovites, as Poland, he certainly wouldn't have enough strength. He must know that we will manage. He must know that we are ready for any scenario. – At least once on such a matter, everyone should seriously consider what they are saying and bite their tongue. Everyone should ensure that they speak with one voice on this matter. Security is paramount – he continued.

– On matters of security, we should truly speak with one voice. I, if I were to become President of the Republic of Poland, but even today as a candidate, propose a Security Pact. An agreement of all political forces on the absolutely most important matters, because unity counts today. We must be together, we cannot be played against each other, we must together tell the whole world and demonstrate that there is consensus in Poland regarding strengthening our security – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Biłgoraj.

– Today, it is important that the president ensures that the National Security Council, in these difficult times, is convened once every 60 days, that all political forces in Poland and their representatives are invited, where a serious discussion will be held with our generals and our services about the security situation and how to prepare for it – he continued.

– Today, the European Union's budget must be structured differently. We need to spend more money together on defense. We must show the entire world that Europe is seriously taking security into its own hands, and we must show the new American administration that we, not just Poland, but the whole of Europe, are truly ready to be a partner for the United States. A tough partner, a strong partner, and a responsible partner – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Biłgoraj.

– Today, above all, we need to show Americans that there is no other option than cooperation. That is the most important thing today. Today, we need to invite all the experts who know about this. I will present my experts, who will advise me, next week – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Biłgoraj.

– Today we are all investing in our security, today we have a leadership role, we are modernizing our army, we are also using funds that will be utilized by our arms industry, and this is incredibly important – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Biłgoraj.

– I began my latest visit to your region in Dęblin; of course, we are all proud of our academy in Dęblin, but it is precisely there that huge sums from so-called offset will be invested in arms factories. We are buying helicopters from the Americans, and in return, there will be significant investments in our arms industry because we must become increasingly self-sufficient. 50% of all these funds must be invested in our arms industry – he added.

– It appears that on the transatlantic agenda, the future of Ukraine is not the only matter, but also the reconfiguration of NATO. These are matters of utmost importance. I discussed them yesterday in Paris in the format initiated by Poland, in Warsaw, meaning Weimar+. We agreed that Europe will not cease to support Ukraine, and that any agreement concerning Ukraine must be made with its participation – stated Radosław Sikorski in a conversation with journalists in Munich.

– Today, when we hear various reports about what might happen in Ukraine, this is truly the moment when we should be united, when we should stop settling these internal squabbles and consider what is in our most fundamental interest. This is because there is no doubt that Ukrainians are fighting for our security and for our freedom – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Biłgoraj.

– I am also counting here, and I say this without any jest, I am counting on President Andrzej Duda here, because he has relations with the Trump administration, that we will all calmly explain to the Americans that this is in their interest, that a peace should not be made over the heads of Ukrainians, that we must all work together on this peace – he added.

[…] What happens if in June we have Trzaskowski, who is a losing presidential candidate, and Tusk, who is a former prime minister? There will be no Civic Platform – he continued.

– What if, in that same June […] PiS loses the presidential election. Jarosław Kaczyński put forward a candidate who did not win these elections, and PiS will have at least another 2.5 years in opposition. This will be a powerful shock within that party – he went on to say.

– Karol Nawrocki will be a president who demands from the government. Rafał Trzaskowski will not demand from the government; he will sign. Dr. Karol Nawrocki, should Poles elect him, will be a president who demands from the government – stated Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.

We need to stop the December 13th coalition with a decisive victory for Doctor Karol Nawrocki, and I remind you that he is the only candidate who has a chance to win against Rafał Trzaskowski, a representative of the December 13th coalition – stated Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.

– We have long since gathered the required 100,000 signatures, although we have adopted a strategy that allows us to collect signatures until the end of March within the statutory deadline.
