- We have been saying for many, many months that Poland has a legitimate ambition to build the largest military force in this part of Europe. We are on the right track; it is becoming a reality. These are no longer just the words of our generals and ministers; these are facts that the whole world and all of Europe are observing - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during an event dedicated to the PERUN program.

- This is possible thanks to the wise use of all opportunities offered by Poland's modern position in Europe and the world. These include, as in this case, partly our money, taxpayers' money, and thus a great sacrifice by the Polish nation. [...] But we also have gigantic support from European funds, both SAFE and other European funds - he continued.

- Some of them - I'm looking at the head of NCBiR - are also involved in the projects we signed today - he indicated.
