It was a great honor for me.

Siemoniak on Trump’s presidency:
I am not one of those who believe we are on the verge of a drama.
– There is uncertainty because there is no certainty as to how President Trump will want to solve various problems in a complicated, war-torn world, so we need to wait calmly – said Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Mariusz Piekarski on “TVP Info Morning”.
– I am not one of those people who believe we are on the verge of some drama. The world is based on interests, on values, on decades of certain policies, and we remember Donald Trump’s previous presidency; the main directions of policy – transatlanticism, NATO, market economy, democracy – were maintained during his presidency – he continued.
08:07
Tomczyk on Trump and Defense Spending:
We Are Where He Sets the Goals.
– I think there is more hope [in me after Trump's inauguration]; we should always live with positive emotions. I watched President Trump's speech with great interest, because the USA has a huge influence on what happens around the world. The USA is a superpower, it is a great economy – stated Cezary Tomczyk in an interview with Marcin Fijołek for “Graffiti” on Polsat News.
– We should remember that we, as Europe, meaning as Poland, also have enormous strength. Today, the world will be rearranging itself somewhat, so if you ask me whether it's concerns or hopes, I would say there are many question marks. Poland is today a country that, in a sense, is a star student in terms of what Donald Trump talks about – he continued.
– We are talking about security and the economy being the most important things for Poland and Poles, and for example, Donald Trump also talks about defense spending. We are where he sets the goals, because we are today the star student in Europe in this regard – emphasized the Deputy Minister of National Defense.
08:13
Siemoniak Sets a Deadline:
We Plan to Present an Election Protection Plan.
– Together with Deputy Prime Minister Gawkowski, we plan to present an election protection plan by the end of January, so that citizens can be certain that state services are doing everything to ensure that no one threatens the decision of who will be president in Poland, which belongs to Poles without any interference – said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVP Info.
– We are drawing conclusions from the experiences of other countries […]. We will present [the plan] by the end of January, we are working on it, and it has a primarily digital dimension – he continued.
08:16
Tomczyk on Trump’s Announcement:
It's simply impossible, and that's also a question mark.
– Trump has been announcing it [a meeting with Putin] for many months. I am convinced that such a meeting will take place, but I am also convinced that it is not as Trump said, that the war will end today, because that is simply impossible, and that is also a question mark that hangs over us. From our perspective, it is important that Putin loses – loses economically, militarily – stated Cezary Tomczyk on Polsat News’ “Graffiti”.
08:18
– I am for restrictions, but I believe that this needs to be thoroughly discussed, weighing various interests, because next to gas stations, we have hundreds of 24-hour alcohol shops. Therefore, gas station owners rightly point out that yes, let's limit alcohol sales in general, and not just target stations – said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVP Info, when asked about a ban on alcohol sales at gas stations.
– I am curious about these discussions. I am always in favor of considering safety and the police's opinion in such matters – he continued.
08:22
– Let us remember that Orban is unfortunately a pro-Russian politician today, but let us also remember the strength of Hungary. Hungary is, let's be frank, a rather small country in the center of Europe, which is, after all, much smaller than Poland – stated Cezary Tomczyk in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.
– Poland is a power in Europe today, a country that we should see as a future European power, and these are not empty words. We are spending huge sums today on the Polish army, on enabling Polish companies to compete with Western companies, and that is what we should focus on – the Civic Platform politician continued.
08:26
Tomczyk on the US Administration:
A New Impetus in International Politics.
– However, I view the Republican administration as a certain new impetus in international politics, and today I think it will be the case that there will be many decisions by Donald Trump with which we can agree, and there will also be decisions that will raise controversy, because this entire new administration will be reshaping itself – stated Cezary Tomczyk on Polsat News’s “Graffiti.”
08:38
Tomczyk on the Expectations of PiS and Konfederacja Politicians:
That Would Probably Be Treason.
– I would be cautious, however, for PiS politicians, but also for any other party, because what may seem like an opportunity today, may turn out to be something completely different. I think we need to look at the world with common sense, Rafał Trzaskowski also talks about this. This is also a story that will be with us. Common sense in every matter – stated Cezary Tomczyk in Polsat News's “Graffiti”.
– It would be gigantic hypocrisy if PiS or Konfederacja politicians today expected some external interference, because that would probably be treason. That's what I think. I think we have Polish affairs and that Poles will choose their president – he continued.
08:41
Tomczyk on Tightening 800+ Benefit for Foreigners:
Trzaskowski Speaks Clearly.
– I voted against [the PiS amendment] because that amendment concerned the residence card, not the issue of work. Today, Rafał Trzaskowski clearly states that the system, when it comes to the issue of the 800+ benefit for foreigners, must be tightened, and I will tell you more, that Donald Tusk’s government has already begun tightening this system in recent months – stated Cezary Tomczyk in “Graffiti” on Polsat News.
08:44
Tomczyk:
Morawiecki Did Not Have the Best Time in Washington
– One thing is certain – former Prime Minister Morawiecki did not have the best time in Washington. He didn't have some kind of plaque, they didn't want to let him in somewhere. His case, it seems to me, is that when the former Polish Prime Minister travels to the USA, he should be better prepared. Besides, I saw that even, I think, the Karnowski brothers' TV station said it was a scandal that such an unprepared interview was arranged for Prime Minister Morawiecki. I think the Polish internet received it rather unequivocally negatively – stated Cezary Tomczyk on Polsat News' "Graffiti".
09:20
– Wind of change. Wieje coraz szybciej w stronę Polski (The wind of change. It's blowing ever faster towards Poland) – wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media. The former Prime Minister published photos from the balls of US President Donald Trump, as well as with Argentine President Javier Milei.
Wind of change.

PiS Demands Additional National Defense Committee Session:
A Threat to Poles.
– Members of the National Defense Committee are submitting a request for an additional session of the committee concerning the threat posed to Poland and Poles by the unsupervised movement of over 200 anti-tank mines within Poland. We believe that serious negligence on the part of the Ministry of National Defense (MON) and its leadership occurred in this matter. Therefore, we expect the Deputy Prime Minister, the Deputy Minister from Civic Platform responsible for infrastructure, the head of the Internal Security Agency (SKW), and the commander of the Military Police (ŻW) to appear at the committee session – stated Mariusz Błaszczak at a press briefing.
11:17
– We consider [Rafał Trzaskowski’s] statement to be a campaign move, and therefore PiS says 'let's check.' We have submitted a bill, and today I also submitted a motion to include this very bill [regarding 800+] in the Sejm's agenda, which begins tomorrow – stated Mariusz Błaszczak at a press briefing.
11:45
Trzaskowski:
I am convinced I would establish relations with Trump quite quickly
– I have seen very different reactions to what Trump said yesterday, and I've seen a lot of emotions, both very positive and very negative. I believe we need less emotion and more reason. This is because our task, my task, is to examine Donald Trump's proposals carefully and ensure that Poland's interests are taken into account – Rafał Trzaskowski said at a press conference in Białogard.
– A good President of the Republic is someone who knows how to build relationships. I am convinced that I would establish such relations with Donald Trump quite quickly, because for many years I have been talking with politicians from his circle, and we have also invited Republican politicians, those who advise Republican politicians, for example at Campus Polska Przyszłości – he continued.
11:52
Trzaskowski on Talks with Trump’s Circle:
When I talk to his colleagues, that’s what I tell them.
– Of course, we must ensure that there is no discrimination, that we tell him [Donald Trump] that trade between Europe and the USA benefits everyone. We must also persuade him to see security issues through our prism – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Białogard.
– When Donald Trump’s associates visited, or when I speak with his associates, that’s precisely what I talk about: for example, that Ukraine needs support and that Trump should not allow any end to this conflict that could weaken the USA – he continued.
11:55
– Yes, but that's what the residents of Warsaw expected, and Rafał Trzaskowski does want to be president of all Poles here, and we know that the whole of Poland is not just Warsaw – Dorota Łoboda said on the program Sedno Sprawy on Radio Plus, responding to Jacek Prusinowski's assertion that Rafał Trzaskowski "suddenly became a conservative," "earlier he was one of the more progressive politicians in the [KO] camp, and now he has become a conservative anchor."
– If we want our president to represent all Poles and if we truly care about this and if Rafał Trzaskowski talks about building this community, about tearing down these walls, then we also need to know that outside of Warsaw people think differently and that we need to direct our message to them and show that we are capable of transcending Warsaw – she continued.
– What is important in Warsaw, what is important to the residents of Warsaw, doesn't translate to Podlasie or Podkarpacie – she went on to say.
11:57
Trzaskowski takes a jab at Morawiecki:
Effectiveness is much better than trying to crash a meeting uninvited.
– Less emotion, more reason. And simply fighting to make everything Trump does pay off for us, convincing him of that. That is truly much better than trying to crash his meeting uninvited. Simply effectiveness – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Białogard.
11:59
– I, for example, can afford to do that because my voters expect it […] I believe that health education should be mandatory – Dorota Łoboda said on Radio Plus.
– Yes, but he noticed that there are people who think differently, and he also has to be a representative of these people – she continued, when asked if Rafał Trzaskowski would also believe that health education should be mandatory if he weren't running for office.
– We listen to those people who have different views than us, and the president must approach them with respect and weigh their arguments – she added.
12:04
– I said from the very beginning that these polls would be very close, that every vote would count. These polls will change, as they have even in the last few days. Just a few days ago some were despairing, now it's better, but in the end it will be really very, very close and there will be a fight to the very end for every vote – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Białogard.
12:12
Trzaskowski asked about reports concerning Nawrocki's apartment:
Outrageous.
– This is outrageous. If Mr. Nawrocki is so radical in his views, I would expect him to be equally radical in his actions, which, to put it mildly, leave much to be desired. I hope Karol Nawrocki will simply account for this – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Białogard, when asked about media reports claiming that Karol Nawrocki, as the Director of the Museum of the Second World War, allegedly used a Deluxe apartment in the museum's hotel complex for over half a year free of charge, despite living only 5 km away.
12:21
Kaczyński on Gajadhur:
He is a victim, the accusation is clearly a pretext.
– It is already taking on the character of legal and criminal actions, actions that in reality are meant to lead to the criminalization of this type of behavior, and at this very moment, Minister Gajadhur is a victim of this kind of undertaking. That is to say, he was summoned as a suspect for revealing, this accusation is clearly a pretext, some internal material, but in reality, for simply revealing the truth, and because we are now dealing with criminal cases concerning even matters like liking certain tweets, and tweets that do not contain anything bad that could be considered contrary to any principles of decency or norms applicable in the civilized world – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
12:21
Kaczyński on the Situation in the USA:
We Have a Return to Common Sense.
– We have a special situation, here in the most powerful state, and particularly in the most powerful democratic state, in the USA, we have a return to common sense, to the rejection of all those initiatives that are intended to limit economic development, but what may be even more important, a return to common sense in matters such as, for example, gender – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
12:23
Trzaskowski Asked About PiS's 800+ Bill:
I'm Glad They're Inspired by Me and My Proposals.
– I am very pleased if PiS politicians are inspired by me and my proposals. That's a good thing because it shows they have a bit of common sense sometimes. So we should all be happy about that in this divided world of ours, that someone is copying our or my ideas – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Białogard.
– How could I have changed my mind on this matter if reality itself is changing? Today, we are three years after the war began, we all know that we showed enormous solidarity when we welcomed Ukrainians, and everyone agreed with that then, including PiS politicians – he continued.
– Today is a completely different time. Today, we should clearly send a signal to the whole world that [...] when it comes to those who work hard and live in Poland – they have the right to 800+, and those who do not work simply do not have that right – he recalled his postulate.
12:29
Błaszczak:
We are dealing with a forceful attempt to change the system of government
– In parliament, there is talk of laws aimed at extinguishing the mandates of MPs, this is being discussed using the example of MP Marcin Romanowski. If such practices were to come into effect, firstly, they would be contrary to the Constitution, and secondly, they would mean that the ruling majority would try to eliminate opposition MPs in order to increase their room for maneuver, for example, to enable the rejection of a presidential veto – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.
– Such actions would be illegal, such actions would harm the system of government of the Republic of Poland. One can argue that we are dealing with a forceful attempt to change the system of government in our country. Law and Justice will oppose this in the Sejm – he continued.
12:34
Kaczyński Asked About Nawrocki:
Gazeta Wyborcza" Very Often Misses the Truth
– I have known “Gazeta Wyborcza” for over 30 years, and I have experienced it myself – one could say – it often deviates from the truth, and in this case, I completely believe the statements of the candidate we support, the civic candidate, that everything was different, and that there are no grounds for any accusations here – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
12:36
Tusk on Trump's Presidential Inauguration:
Despite Great Emotions, Fears, and Hopes, the World Hasn't Turned Upside Down.
– As I see it, the world hasn’t turned upside down, despite the great political emotions, and the justified and unjustified fears and hopes associated with the change in the American administration. I’m sure all of you, like me, listened with interest to the inaugural address [by Donald Trump], and the entire ceremony indeed captured the world’s attention – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk before the Council of Ministers meeting.
12:42
Kaczyński:
I'm the furthest from thinking US events will solve Poland's problems
– I am the furthest from thinking that events in the United States will solve Poland's affairs. We must solve Poland's affairs here ourselves. We have an opportunity, and the presidential elections are such an opportunity – Jarosław Kaczyński said at a press conference.
12:52
– I want to inform you that I have already previously turned – after the first announcements by the new administration regarding possible deportations of illegal migrants from the United States – to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, so that our consulates and missions operating in the USA would be prepared for the potential consequences of these decisions concerning Poles working and residing in the USA, with various statuses and different levels of legality – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said before a Council of Ministers meeting.
As he emphasized: – The new administration has not yet informed anyone about the details of this operation, and therefore we have not received information on whether this operation could be detrimental to Polish citizens […]. But one way or another, we must be prepared.
– Therefore, our missions in the USA will reach out as quickly as possible with information to Polish citizens who feel concerned in any way by this new situation. They will all be able to count on help from consular officials, as well as from our government – he declared.
– There may be no reason for concern, but I want to assure you that Poland will be well-prepared for any situation – he stressed.
12:56
– Every Polish woman and every Polish man will be warmly welcomed here in their homeland. Everyone will find their place in their homeland. Here, everyone can find their America. A great deal has truly changed in recent years, and without any complexes, we can say that everyone who wants to work, who believes in their own future and strengths, will truly find a suitable place in Poland – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk before the Council of Ministers meeting.
As he emphasized: – We will welcome everyone, without exception, with open arms. I have also asked the relevant services to facilitate returns for all those interested in returning to Poland, should the need arise.
13:06
– I will not use the government session to comment on the incident involving the former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. But I have a piece of advice for everyone without exception, those currently holding government positions and those who have held high government positions in the past – for example, former prime ministers, presidents: you can always use the help of Polish diplomatic missions: the ambassador, the consul, when you find yourselves in trouble – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk before the Council of Ministers meeting.
– It is good to inform our diplomatic missions if someone of such a status, like a former prime minister, is travelling to a particular country. […] She [the ambassador/diplomatic mission] can also help in certain situations, and thanks to this, we can avoid some shocking or unpleasant events – he indicated.
13:56
Bosak:
A Serious Party Fields One Candidate in Presidential Elections
– Konfederacja is a serious political party […] and a serious political party fields one candidate for president in presidential elections, and the time for discussion about who will represent Konfederacja was last summer – said Krzysztof Bosak in the program “Politics at Noon” on RDC.
14:04
Bosak:
Europe Lacks Strong Leaders to Partner with Trump
– He [Donald Trump] is a businessman who likes quick and tough negotiations, he likes the human element in politics, he likes confrontations of character. It seems to me that Vladimir Putin and some European leaders are undoubtedly his partners for negotiation in this regard, but at the moment, Europe lacks strong leaders who could be partners for Trump – said Krzysztof Bosak on RDC.
– The European Union is completely adrift, it is in inertia. In the most important countries of the European Union, there are either no governments or they are very weak – he continued.
14:08
Bosak:
If the West Wants Putin to End the War, They Must Pay Him Something. Let's Hope It's Not Us and Our Interests
– Russia finds it unprofitable to end this war because, generally speaking, they are making progress. If the Western world wants to end this war, and the Western world wants to end this war, Ukraine also wants to end this war, then if one side wants to wage war and the other wants to end it, someone has to pay someone, and the question is what the currency will be – said Krzysztof Bosak in RDC.
– If the Western world wants Putin to end the war, they must pay him something. Let's hope it's not us and our interests – he continued.
14:16
Bosak Announces Bill to Limit 800+ for Ukrainians:
Trzaskowski Has Started Mimicking Our Demands.
"We were completely against extending social privileges to foreigners… it is very interesting that at this moment, Rafał Trzaskowski has started mimicking our demands or slogans. It's interesting if anyone will believe that this chameleon has truly changed his views," Krzysztof Bosak said on RDC.
"He is saying that now, suddenly, if someone [from Ukraine] is not working, they shouldn't receive [800+], right? But somehow, he is the vice-chairman of Civic Platform and they haven't introduced such a bill. But we will write this bill for them and submit it to the Sejm soon," he continued.
"Our legal department is already writing it. Before the elections, absolutely, it's a matter of days," he added.
15:29
PiS criticizes the implementation of the Digital Services Act:
A tool is being prepared to silence the right.
– The reason for this regulation is as follows: the approaching presidential elections, the disastrous candidate of the Civic Coalition, and therefore a regulatory tool is being prepared to silence the right. Indeed, the Digital Services Act was meant to protect users. We are seeing a very clear caricature of the implementation of this act – said Jadwiga Wiśniewska at a press conference.
– I worked on this act in the LIBE committee, and absolutely not such were the intentions and not such was the intent. We must also know that the regulations prepared by the Polish government have a repressive dimension and character towards the largest opposition party […]. They will not silence us […] we want to defend freedom of speech at all costs, and what we are dealing with today is nothing other than pure, blunt censorship – she continued.
Beata Szydło also spoke on the same topic, stating in a video published on X: “The authorities of the European Union, but also the Polish government, want to limit our freedom on the internet. All this under the guise of fighting fake news, false information, and protecting our interests. In reality, they want to muzzle us.”
Rząd Tuska chce Polakom cenzurować internet. Ludzie Tuska otwarcie domagają się nawet zamknięcia Facebooka. – Today, the Council of Ministers adopted three draft amendments concerning this market [e-cigarettes]. […] These drafts, on one hand, stem from the government's decision to protect the most vulnerable […] the second source […] were EU commitments – said Maciej Berek at a press conference.
The presented drafts include, among others, provisions on the prohibition of selling any electronic cigarettes and refill containers with liquid to persons under 18 years of age. Minors will also not be able to purchase nicotine pouches.
„The new regulations will also introduce a ban on smoking non-nicotine e-cigarettes in selected public places, including, among others, schools, playgrounds, and public transport stops. The ban will therefore be identical to the provisions concerning tobacco products and nicotine e-cigarettes” – the Ministry of Health announced in a statement.
Also foreseen are, among others, a ban on advertising e-cigarettes and nicotine pouches, strengthened supervision over the composition of non-nicotine liquids and nicotine pouches, as well as a ban on the sale of heated tobacco products with characteristic flavors, such as fruit.
15:45
Leszczyna on Health Education:
Introducing Something Against Social Resistance Usually Doesn’t End Well.
– Would I want [the subject of health education] to be mandatory? Of course, I would want it to be mandatory. The decision has been made, announced by the Minister of Education. I am convinced that children and young people […] who participate in these classes will tell their peers: listen, this is a really cool subject – said Izabela Leszczyna at a press conference.
– Introducing something against social resistance usually doesn’t end well. I think that over time, everyone will understand that it’s worth attending health education – she continued.
16:02
Morawiecki on Trump's Presidential Inauguration:
The Final Alarm Bell Before Economic Crisis.
– How much longer can Europe endure? Yesterday's inauguration of Donald Trump is the final alarm bell before the economic crisis they want to engineer for us. "USA innovates – EU regulates." – wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.
– In the ECR, we will be the voice of common sense in the EU! Trump wants to extract oil and gas, while EU leaders, the Polish government, and their presidential candidate remain hostages to the Green Deal ideology, which is killing innovation and competitiveness – emphasized the former prime minister.

– The Minister of Finance can disburse state budget funds to an electoral committee after the conditions stipulated in the regulations are met. In our current situation, there are two such conditions: the examination of the electoral committee's complaint by the Supreme Court, followed by a resolution by the National Electoral Commission. Neither of these conditions has been fulfilled – Maciej Berek stated at a press conference.
– The electoral committee's complaint has not been examined by an authority that, in light of European case law, would have the status of a court. This is not solely about judges. We have rulings from the chambers of the CJEU and the ECHR […] particularly from the Court of Justice of the European Union, which states: this chamber does not have the status of an independent court; it is not a judicial body – he continued.
– On December 30th, the National Electoral Commission unfortunately included in its resolution the entire significant legal dilemma concerning whether this matter was handled by the Supreme Court or not. I believe it was extremely prudent for the Minister of Finance to publicly ask the National Electoral Commission for clarification on the meaning of its resolution – he added.
– If the legal conditions are met, no one will have the slightest doubt that the transfer of state budget funds to the electoral committee can and must be executed; however, these conditions must be fulfilled. […] These funds are indeed secured in the budget; there simply needs to be a legal basis for their disbursement – he concluded.
16:25
– I will strive for the sustainable development of Poland. A phenomenon of a reversed Janosik has occurred, meaning a strategic assumption for the development of the Polish state, in which if a local government is poor, it is to become even poorer, and if it is richer, it is to become even richer – stated Karol Nawrocki in Wieliczka.
– It cannot be the case that when at the end of 2024 there are 10 billion PLN to be distributed to local governments, a billion goes to Warsaw, to the Warsaw City Hall, to Mr. President, the Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform, solely because an oligarchy of 5 local government officials from the same party and political environment is becoming the voice of Polish local governments in the media and throughout Poland – he continued.
16:32
Nawrocki:
Poles Will Elect the President, Not Berlin, Brussels, or Kyiv
– The President of the Republic of Poland will be elected by Poles, and the President of the Republic of Poland will not be chosen for us by Berlin, nor Brussels, nor Kyiv – stated Karol Nawrocki in Wieliczka.
16:37
Nawrocki:
Polish Women Can Choose Their Own President
– We have wonderful women in Poland who can decide for themselves whom they want to elect to the office of the President of the Republic of Poland. They don't need to listen to politicians' prompts, because as you know, I'm referring to a well-known statement by one of the ministers – stated Karol Nawrocki in Wieliczka.
– All the women who participated in the online campaign, which began yesterday, driven by the heartfelt desire of our wonderful Polish women, is called 'my president, my choice'. And I wanted to thank all the ladies for such active involvement in what is happening in Poland today and on this path towards May 18th. Long live the Polish women whom I will represent – he continued.
16:37
Nawrocki on Local Government Officials in Major Cities:
Stop the Local Government Oligarchy.
– As a future president, I will return and inspire the government to revive programs such as the Strategic Investment Program and to ensure the sustainable development of the Republic of Poland. Stop the local government oligarchy, which speaks on behalf of several thousand local government officials but belongs to one political milieu; Poland will not develop this way – said Karol Nawrocki in Wieliczka.
16:39
Nawrocki:
I Am a Big Supporter of Health Education, But Not in This Form
– I am a big supporter of health education. Children should have health education in schools as such, because we have a problem related to childhood and youth obesity, and it is very important that we learn about calories, good nutrition, training, and sports activity from a health perspective. However, if to a certain plan, even 90% good intentions are supplemented with even 10% of that word starting with 'i' [ideology], which deprives me as a parent of the right to discuss, then I clearly say no to this path of education – stated Karol Nawrocki in Wieliczka.
16:39
Nawrocki:
Poland's Strategic Interest Lies in Ukraine's Victory Over Our Enemy
– Poland's strategic interest lies in Ukraine's victory, also over our enemy. This is because it is often forgotten in public debate that Poland is a mortal enemy of the Russian Federation, which they would like to destroy – stated Karol Nawrocki in Wieliczka.
18:12
– Today, the Supreme Court, ruling in the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs regarding an appeal by the Law and Justice (PiS) party against a resolution by the National Electoral Commission (PKW) rejecting the party's financial report, found the complaint against the PKW resolution to be justified. Consequently, in light of the regulations of the Electoral Code, the PKW will now be obliged to adopt a resolution accepting the financial report – informed the Supreme Court spokesperson, Aleksander Stępkowski.

– I wouldn't want to scare all of you, to scare grandmothers and grandfathers and retirees, but since something has happened, our logic, our intellect suggests that it can happen. I, on the other hand, as a civic candidate for president here in Myślenice, want to clearly tell all of you that as President of the Republic of Poland, I will never sign a bill increasing the retirement age for Polish women and men – stated Karol Nawrocki in Myślenice.
– If both the president and the prime minister of the Republic of Poland were from the same political and party environment that already has a track record of raising the retirement age, meaning if Donald Tusk's deputy, i.e., the vice-chairman of Civic Platform, became the president of Poland, then Polish seniors unfortunately cannot feel safe – he continued.

Nawrocki:
PiS Political Circle is Ready to Hand the Republic of Poland Over to Citizens
– This is a great responsibility and immense trust from a political party to be ready to bet on a candidate who has never been and is not a member of a political party. This means that today, in 2025 and in the upcoming elections, the PiS political circle was ready and is ready to hand the Republic of Poland over to the citizens, to the state, by proposing that I take on the responsibility for the nation's concerns, opinions, and unresolved issues, which I am to take to the Presidential Palace – stated Karol Nawrocki in Myślenice.

Nawrocki:
We Will Not Let Our Freedom Be Taken Away, Neither Online, Nor on Television, Nor at Meetings, Nor in the Stands
– We know there are attempts to review the internet, there are attempts to review fan displays at stadiums, because too much information about Polish patriotism and Polish heroes appears there. We will not let our freedom be taken away, neither online, nor on television, nor at meetings, nor in the stands – stated Karol Nawrocki in Myślenice.

Nawrocki:
Ordering the Removal of Crosses from Polish Offices is a Step Too Far
– Ordering the removal of Catholic crosses from Polish offices is a step too far. Because it's an erasure of who we actually are and what defines us. We should never allow ourselves to succumb to this pressure that is being directed at us – stated Karol Nawrocki in Myślenice.
19:05
– We should strive, and I, as President of the Republic of Poland, will strive, to create a Patient Service Center, to integrate all the electronic systems that are already functioning – e-prescriptions, e-sick notes, and all the things that have somehow been reformed in a general sense before October 15th – stated Karol Nawrocki in Myślenice.

Stanowski Announces Decision on Election Candidacy:
A Campaign Like Poland Has Never Seen Will Begin.
– I want to be a presidential candidate. I want your 100,000 signatures, but I don't want to be president. […] A campaign like Poland has never seen before will begin, and it will be a campaign that the Polish political class has absolutely deserved – said Krzysztof Stanowski in an online "address".
– They make jokes out of us every day, lie to us every day, deceive us with promises every day, and don't even pretend they want to fulfill them. […] I don't promise anything. I only promise good fun – he continued.
Stanowski admitted that he lacks the experience or competencies needed to be president, but he wants to "show the election campaign from the inside" and "take part in a debate on TVP in liquidation.".
20:29
– He is a brave man; one could say the United States has found itself a president for difficult times. We observed him in the previous term, and I think now he will go all out even more, because this is his second and simultaneously last term. However, Donald Trump’s transactional approach to politics is, paradoxically, good news for Poland – stated Piotr Zgorzelski on the program “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.
20:31
Zgorzelski on the National Electoral Commission Resolution:
This Legal Mess Reflects Very Poorly on the Majority of This Composition.
– The Minister of Finance should receive a concrete and clear instruction from the National Electoral Commission on whether to disburse funds or not. This legal mess that the National Electoral Commission has produced reflects very poorly on the majority of this composition – stated Piotr Zgorzelski in Polsat News.
– One cannot speculate in this manner today on such important matters as the financing of political parties. A party is a constitutional entity, and we established by consensus that a certain percentage of funds falls to a given party. So, if you ask me whether this brings PiS closer to disbursement, I don't know – he continued.
20:31
Zgorzelski:
PiS is Not Entitled to This Money
– Guided by common sense and a sense of justice, I believe that PiS is not entitled to this money. They are not entitled to it because during the election campaign they used state institutions, they used the entire state apparatus to conduct the election campaign – said Piotr Zgorzelski in Polsat News.
20:32
Zgorzelski:
I Don't Fully Agree with the Regulation on One Religion per Week
– No, I don't fully agree with this regulation [on one religion per week], because I believe that the procedure or the work on these regulations could have been more careful and imbued with good will. I know that Minister Nowacka has good will, sometimes perhaps the people delegated by her to act are too zealous – stated Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News.
– I spoke with her, I know she is a person of good will and she simply implements many of my remarks regarding her cooperation with the episcopate in various fields, so I have nothing bad to say about her here – he added.

Kosiniak-Kamysz on Relations with the New US Administration:
Poland Has Strong Credentials
– What will be the role of the United States? Will, for example, the format involving defense ministers from around 50 countries – as it wasn't just NATO states – to aid Ukraine, initiated by the former Secretary of Defense, be continued? We have many issues to resolve with the new administration – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24’s “Kropka nad i” (The Dot over the i).
– I am in favor of building the strongest possible relations, and Poland has its good credentials: both its defense spending and its purchases in the United States. These are the two things that legitimize us before the United States in a very strong way – he stated.
20:44
– It is also important in a new opening of relations to rectify the mistake the previous administration made in its final days: for instance, the issue of access to microprocessors, to chips, where Poland was restricted. I believe this was a mistake by President Biden's administration – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" program.
– Completely incomprehensible. I am full of hope that the new administration will review this, and I am optimistic that this decision will be changed – he stated.
He assessed: – Such things are not done; this is not a strategic partnership, a strategic friendship, which we agreed upon. Therefore, I am surprised that President Biden's administration made such a decision at the end. Here, I look with optimism towards the new administration.
20:53
– I believe that will be the case, knowing President Trump's fondness for Poles and our relationship: that a Pole who has been diligently working, for example, on a construction site for many years, will be treated differently than a drug dealer standing on the street corner – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" (Dot over the i), referring to President Donald Trump's announcements regarding the deportation of illegal migrants.
– I would weigh these two situations a bit. I presented them quite vividly specifically so that I could see a difference – he added.
21:02
– Polish affairs should be settled within the Polish house – after all, this is a slogan our predecessors proclaimed for the entire 8 years they governed. Why should anything be discussed in the European Parliament, which we are a part of, let alone the transfer, and moreover, untrue, information, lies, and slander from across the ocean – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24’s “Kropka nad i” (The Dot Over the ‘i’).
– This is unpatriotic conduct. I believe some intellectual disorientation has occurred, far-reaching. And certainly, a disorientation of values, patriotic ones and love for the homeland – he continued.
– It is Poles who decide who stays in government, who is president, not anyone else – he pointed out.
21:10
– He is a joint candidate [Szymon Hołownia], so we will be involved in the campaign. We expect the campaign staff to present its assumptions and strategy. Certain elements are already being implemented, which we can see and which are interesting. But I am open to cooperation and also to supporting the campaign, absolutely – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" [Dot on the i].
– Certainly, members and sympathizers of the PSL will support this campaign. And if broader involvement is needed – we are open to Szymon Hołownia's ideas – he declared.
It was a great honor for me.
