Siemoniak on searching for Romanowski in a monastery in Lublin:

It cannot be that the services do not have access to such places.

- An appeal must be filed, let the court assess it. I will always defend the police here, they are doing their job, they have a prosecutor's order. They are acting to the best of their knowledge, let's remember that this is about searching for a person suspected of very serious crimes, and I believe that these actions were based on some substantiated information that the suspected person [Romanowski] might be there himself, or some elements related to it – stated Tomasz Siemoniak in the program "Grafiiti" on Polsat News.

- We are talking about searching for a person suspected of serious crimes, and in this case, whether it is a public building, a private apartment, a monastery, or another location, the services and the prosecutor's office should have access. It is not the case that there are some parts of the country that state services cannot reach in such a situation. As I said, the prosecutor's office will clarify, and I think the matter will be closed – he continued.

Siemoniak on the RPO's Report Regarding Father Michał O:

I Was Very Surprised.

- Of course, I read it, and frankly, I was very surprised by it. The Commissioner for Human Rights has spoken on this matter, as have the Internal Security Agency, the Prison Service, the prosecutor's office, and the Ministry of Justice. We have a court ruling from October that directly addresses the issues raised by the Commissioner for Human Rights, and the court, having a broader picture of the situation than the RPO's office staff might have had, found that the arrest and subsequent actions were correct, legal, and justified – said Tomasz Siemoniak on Polsat News.

"Four People Always Vote Pro-PiS": Kalisz on PKW Decision-Making
- These two reports [by Konfederacja and Jarosław Gowin's Porozumienie] were for the 2019 election campaign. This body, called the Chamber for Public and Extraordinary Control, suspended proceedings and only ruled this year - Ryszard Kalisz said in an interview with Karolina Opolska on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka" (Morning Guest). - Secondly, the PKW consists of nine people. Four people always voted in favor of accepting this ruling, as a result of the complaint from this chamber. I would like to point out that if people say that this group of five, elected by the Democratic Coalition, votes differently, then these four always vote pro-PiS - he continued. - Apart from me, who voted against it – because I already have this experience and I know what the public reaction will be – four colleagues abstained from voting, […] because they, not recognizing this chamber, could not vote – as they claimed – against it, because that would be against the content of the ruling. Precisely [by voting against, they would have recognized the chamber], but by abstaining, they did not recognize this chamber - he elaborated. - These four – two judges, two nominated by PiS – voted in favor of recognition, and I, one person, voted against. It was 4:1, and these resolutions passed. There is nothing special about this, because the views of these five are constant and do not change at all - he asserted.

Siemoniak:

The Court Thoroughly Examined This Case, Ombudsman's Office Staff Present False Arguments
If the court finds that he received sandwiches and fruit at the place of detention and did not want any meal, and he was asked about it, then I don't know where the Ombudsman's Office staff get these arguments, which are completely false. He was not interrogated for 15 hours, there is a statement from the Internal Security Agency - stated Tomasz Siemoniak in Polsat News. The court examined this matter very thoroughly. I am ready to accept various remarks from the Ombudsman, there is no closure or protection for officers from the services who might have made mistakes. The court examined the matter very thoroughly, and I was truly very surprised by the Ombudsman's statement - he continued.

09:09

Kalisz on the Supreme Court Chamber of Control's decision regarding the PiS report: What we received is a document from a group of people who are not judges.
- Article 145 § 6 of the Electoral Code, which speaks of this "immediacy," clearly refers to the Supreme Court. And what we received, written as "Supreme Court" without specifying a chamber, dated perhaps December 12th, is a document from a group of people who are not judges – said Ryszard Kalisz on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka." - One cannot even commence any proceedings here, because this document does not meet the conditions of a Supreme Court ruling. It is a document from a group of people who decided to call themselves that, but who cannot be recognized as Supreme Court judges – he continued.

09:10

Siemoniak Responds to Ochojska:

If a mob of people attacks Polish soldiers at the border, they must be treated individually.

- With all due respect to Ms. Janina Ochojska, I know the situation at the border very well, and she herself advocates for approaching different situations individually. Well, there is an individual approach, however, in the hospital in Hajnówka, there are people who, injured and ill, have crossed the border and end up there. However, if we are dealing with a mob of people throwing stones and branches at Polish soldiers and officers, they also need to be treated individually – stated Tomasz Siemoniak on Polsat News.

- The European Commission issued a communiqué on December 11th, in which it supported our policy and allocated 52 million euros for the protection of the border with Belarus and Russia – he added.

09:17

Kalisz:

Don't Blame the National Electoral Commission for the Mess. PiS, Ziobro, and the 2017 Law That Destroyed the National Council of the Judiciary Are Responsible.
- Both Article 145 § 6, the one on "expediency," and Article 145 § 3, concerning seven Supreme Court judges, use the term "Supreme Court." Without chambers. Therefore, it is the Supreme Court that should consider this [PiS appeal against the PKW decision] - said Ryszard Kalisz on "Gość Poranka" on TVP Info. - Whose responsibility is it and who bears constitutional responsibility for this? And the President of the Supreme Court, Prof. Małgorzata Manowska. Please do not blame the National Electoral Commission for this mess, because PiS, Ziobro, and the 2017 law that destroyed the constitutional body of the National Council of the Judiciary are responsible for this mess. And now, in this situation, the Supreme Court should consider it in a panel of seven Supreme Court judges, appointed in accordance with the constitution - he emphasized.

09:30

Kalisz:

Marciniak Lowers the Level of Discussion. By Attacking Me Below All Standards, He Tries to Reverse the Situation

- Sylwester Marciniak accuses you of frequently misleading public opinion and deviating from the truth - Karolina Opolska stated on "Gość Poranka" on TVP Info.

- I accuse him of simply lowering the level of discussion at this moment. I will not respond to that - replied Ryszard Kalisz.

As he continued: - This is a question for Sylwester Marciniak, who, by attacking me below all standards, is trying to somehow reverse the situation. What happened that he ordered a circular voting procedure on this, after all, very important matter. I don't know, I haven't spoken to him. He has only publicly attacked me at this moment.

09:44

Kalisz:

I Did Not Receive Official Notification of the PKW Meeting on December 30th. I Had a Trip Planned
- I did not receive any official notification. […] I learned about [the PKW meeting convened by Marciniak for December 30th] from the media, and it is normal, after all, to be notified - Ryszard Kalisz stated on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka" program. - What is December 30th? The day before New Year's Eve. The first information about it came on Monday. During such a very busy period, people plan various situations for themselves. I am not suggesting anything, I am stating facts, that it is the day before New Year's Eve - he continued. - I had a trip planned. This is the second time it has happened; once I was on vacation and had to return early with my sons. And now it turns out that when the PKW meeting is only scheduled for January 16th, we all have to organize our time, because Sylwester Marciniak, for reasons unknown - the chairman, with all due respect - changed his mind and is calling it for Monday, and he has to do it immediately - he went on to say.

He Ruined His Chances for a Career in the IOC. Nitras on Duda and His Decision Regarding the Sports Act Amendment
- What the President has done, by refusing to sign this [sports] act [introducing, among other things, a minimum percentage of women in sports association leadership], stands, unfortunately, in brutal contradiction to the values declared by Mr. President, which he proclaims to everyone - said Sławomir Nitras at a press conference. - I just wanted to remind Mr. President that the International Olympic Committee, which is the body Mr. President Duda aspires to join, has issued firm recommendations to national Olympic committees, to sports federations affiliated with the International Olympic Committee, that by the year 2020, meaning five years ago, they should introduce a minimum 30% parity of female presence in their governing bodies - he continued. - Mr. President Duda, by refusing to sign this act [referring it to the Constitutional Tribunal], acted in the interest of Mr. President Piesiewicz, those who manage the Polish Olympic Committee, not in the interest of athletes and not in the interest of Polish sport. He did not act in accordance with the regulations that apply within the International Olympic Committee - he went on to say. - It seems to me that [...] these chances were never high, to be honest, but by refusing to sign this act, Mr. President Duda has completely ruined his chances of having any career in the structures of the International Olympic Committee - he added.

Trzaskowski’s post-holiday message on communication exclusion:

Kaczyński promised, the promise was not fulfilled.

In Gliwice, I spoke about a Poland that is equal and cohesive. This is one of my most important priorities, and of course, communication exclusion is very closely linked to this. This is because these 140 cities that are on the list, which are losing their socio-economic functions, when you talk to the residents of these cities, they speak precisely about communication exclusion being a huge problem. The fact that they cannot get to work, or often to a doctor, often stems precisely from this - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Warsaw. “Kaczyński promised” - I remember exactly when President Kaczyński promised that the situation would change in 4 years, he promised that every village in Poland would have 2 km to the nearest bus stop, that there would be 5 connections daily to the nearest district town, and 10 connections from each district town to a provincial capital. Unfortunately, this promise has not been fulfilled. There are dozens of district towns that do not have as many connections as PiS promised - he continued. “This must change” - This must change if we seriously want Poland to be cohesive, if we want to eliminate these inequalities. Fortunately, PKP has taken this up in the past year; we have 10% more connections, 50 more trains. Warsaw is connected to cities in the eastern part of the country, new connections to Białystok, from Przemyśl, from Lublin, new stops on these railway lines, including precisely in cities that are on this list - emphasized the Mayor of Warsaw. “I promise you this” - If we want Poland to be fully cohesive, then this work on communication exclusion and connecting these cities must be much more dynamic. I promise you this, because a president should be a patron of such solutions if they want to fight for Poland to be cohesive and equal. I propose strengthening the provincial governors, so that they are responsible for eliminating all kinds of communication barriers - said Trzaskowski.

11:55

Nitras:

I Will Not Fail to Inform the IOC Authorities That the President Blocked Their Recommendations
- I believe the President was not fully aware that he effectively blocked the implementation of the International Olympic Committee's recommendations, and as I said before, I will not fail to inform the International Olympic Committee, the authorities of the International Olympic Committee, that both the Polish government and the Polish parliament have accepted these recommendations, have implemented them, and it was President Duda who blocked them - Sławomir Nitras said at a press conference.

12:03

Nitras on the departure of Polish female hockey players:

I will urgently demand the President to pay.
- In February of next year, Polish female ice hockey players must travel to Japan for a qualifying tournament for the Milan Olympic Games. According to the law, I am unable to pay for this trip as the Minister of Sport, even though I should, because if I transfer these funds to the Polish Ice Hockey Association, the money will not go to these players; it will be seized by a bailiff - Sławomir Nitras said at a press conference. - I proposed a banal and simple solution: financing through the National Sports Institute [...] everything would be in compliance with the law. The President did not sign these regulations. [...] In an absolutely urgent manner, I will demand from the President, because the girls' tickets to Japan need to be purchased by January 10th [...] I will urgently demand from the President to pay for these tickets, since he did not allow me to pay for these tickets, since he vetoed this bill - he continued.

12:04

Trzaskowski Asked About the Romanowski Case:

It Truly Looks Like a Banana Republic Standard.
- It's astonishing that a former Minister of Justice, who is suspected of massive financial embezzlement, we're talking about hundreds of millions of zlotys, about types of crimes punishable by up to 25 years in prison, not some minor administrative oversight but serious matters, 11 charges, an organized criminal group, and this person travels to Budapest seeking asylum, mocking the Polish state, and from there still tries to comment on current politics. Unbelievable audacity, but it also shows how PiS and its dignitaries treat the Polish state and the Polish justice system - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Warsaw. - I remind you that PiS MPs, male and female, absolve this behavior, they consider it completely normal that a person does not appear before the Polish justice system but seeks asylum in another country. This truly looks like a banana republic standard, not a state in the heart of Europe - he continued.

12:09

Nitras on Amendments to the Sports Act:

All Ministerial Programs Will Be Announced As If They Were in Effect.
- The President's actions will not stop me. There will be no regulations, there will be no regulations from January, that oblige sports associations to have people elected by athletes in their structures and boards, so that athletes get a voice in elections, and there will be no regulations guaranteeing the presence of women on boards - said Sławomir Nitras at a press conference. - But I would like to remind Mr. President Duda [...] Mr. Chairman Piesiewicz, that I announce ministerial programs. [...] From January, all ministerial programs will be announced as if this law [on sport] were in effect, meaning there will be preferences for sports associations that meet these regulations or are moving in this direction - he continued.

12:14

Police at the Dominican Monastery. Nitras: I am convinced the services acted lawfully to apprehend a dangerous criminal
- A monastery does not seem to me like a place that has some extraterritoriality. If that were the case, all criminals would seek refuge in monasteries, and that would be an effective method to avoid responsibility for crimes – Sławomir Nitras said at a press conference.

- I am convinced that the services acted lawfully and in such a way as to apprehend a criminal, a dangerous criminal, and not to violate domestic peace; this simply happens sometimes – he continued.

12:19

Nitras:

Obajtek Faces a Choice: Account in Court or Hungary
- This is the nature of PiS. They believe that state property is their own. They don't distinguish between state and private property, but we will teach them to differentiate. Just like Mr. Romanowski, I think there will simply be charges here and a choice: either he will answer in court, or Hungary. That is the choice Mr. Obajtek faces - Sławomir Nitras said at a press conference.

12:26

Nitras:

We Should Recover PLN 100 Million from Romanowski
- Mr. Romanowski is accused of stealing public money. There are recordings where Mr. Romanowski, together with Mr. Matecki among others, are arranging how to rig a competition [...] how to transfer 12 million zlotys to Mr. Matecki. [...] I have never even seen 12 million zlotys in my life - Sławomir Nitras said at a press conference. - This concerns Mr. Matecki, Mr. Kowalski, Mr. Warchoł. It was these people who took money, it was these people and organizations connected to them who took money. [...] They defrauded 100 million zlotys, and Mr. Romanowski was merely the simpleton who signed the documents. And today he must bear responsibility - he continued. - I believe that we should recover these 100 million zlotys from Mr. Romanowski [...] this money simply needs to be recovered - he went on to say.

12:30

Nitras:

Trzaskowski is a Much Better skier than Duda. He hasn't boasted about it, but he should.
- I will reveal a secret. Imagine, ladies and gentlemen, that Rafał Trzaskowski is a much better skier than President Duda. A much better skier. He hasn't boasted about it until now, and I think he should. In my opinion, as soon as he finishes with push-ups, he will boast about his skiing. - Sławomir Nitras said at a press conference.

13:16

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Orka Program for Acquiring Modern Submarines:

Many Promised, But We Will Deliver.

- The acquisition of the ORP Ratownik submarine is linked to something that is our top priority, I would say with Minister Bejda, but I think with Minister Siewiera, with the admirals, the most important commanders in the Navy. This is the Orka program, for which preparations have been underway for many years. I know many have promised you this, but we will deliver it, we will be the ones to turn these words into deeds, I wanted to emphasize this once again – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

13:17

Over 130 Contracts Exceeding 150 Billion Zlotys. Kosiniak-Kamysz Summarizes 2024 at the Ministry of National Defence

- There were over 130 contracts last year, amounting to over 150 billion zlotys. 150 billion zlotys have been invested in Poland's security, and I always thank our taxpayers, our fellow citizens, who contribute to these opportunities, to the opportunities to raise the security standards of the Polish state, the capabilities to defend the Polish state, and the transformation of the Polish army – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

16:17

Free Christmas Eve Act Signed into Law: President Makes Decision
"The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, has signed the Act of December 6, 2024, amending the Act on days free from work and certain other acts. The Act provides for establishing December 24 – Christmas Eve – as a day free from work" - the Chancellery of the President informed.

As informed by the Head of the Chancellery of the President (KPRP), Małgorzata Paprocka, the President will refer the Act to the Constitutional Tribunal under the subsequent control procedure.

The ban on trade will not apply on the three Sundays preceding Christmas Eve. At the same time, an employee or worker may perform work in trade for a maximum of two Sundays during this period.

19:53

Ziobro:

Romanowski Wants to Comply with All Verdicts, Especially Those of the Supreme Court
- When the 5 conditions he clearly outlined are met, meaning the legal actions of law enforcement and the judiciary, which Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister Bodnar deprived of legality through criminal means, are restored - said Zbigniew Ziobro in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News, when asked when Marcin Romanowski would return to the country. - Minister Romanowski wants to comply with all verdicts, especially those of the Supreme Court. Yet, it is Mr. Tusk and Mr. Bodnar who claim that the ruling issued by the Supreme Court judges, which stated that Dariusz Barski is the National Prosecutor, was issued by people who are not judges… - after which the same Minister Bodnar and Tusk will recognize all other verdicts that these people have since issued - he continued.

19:56

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Duda's Aspirations and the IOC's Expectations:

A Surprising Contradiction.
- Personally, I look at this [Sports] Act perhaps from a female perspective, because it contains very important elements regarding the equal treatment of female athletes, and also the possibility of taking maternity leave, and these things seem truly important, just, and necessary to me, and it's a shame that instead of coming into effect, they have been blocked - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts After Facts). - I regret that instead of coming into effect, it was sidelined for reasons that are likely political, entirely different - she continued. - A surprising contradiction that on the one hand there are such aspirations [from the President], and on the other hand, the expectations of the IOC specifically - she went on to say.

19:57

Ziobro:

Poland is Undergoing a Coup Against the Fundamental Operations of the Judiciary
- I say this with full responsibility, after careful consideration of this matter – in reality, Poland is undergoing a coup against the fundamental operations of the judiciary, carried out by people holding executive power – stated Zbigniew Ziobro in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events). - They are paralyzing the judiciary when it is inconvenient for them, they are paralyzing the prosecution – he assessed.

19:59

Ziobro on Romanowski:

I Fully Understand His Decision and Support His Actions.
- I didn’t know [when Marcin Romanowski would go to Hungary]. The minister made that decision himself, but I fully understand it and support his actions – said Zbigniew Ziobro on “Gość Wydarzeń” Polsat News.

20:01

Siemoniak:

No Places of Worship Were Violated

- The prosecution and police had such a suspicion, which is why entry into the premises was made by order, in accordance with the regulations. No places of worship were violated. The prosecution stated this very clearly. The prior was informed, and the prior had no objections to the manner of the search - stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TVP Info.

20:03

Siemoniak:

A Political Storm in a Teacup is Brewing
Indeed, this is not directed against the Church or against this order, so I believe a political storm in a teacup is being created here. Partly to obscure the truth about the situation, that suspects of very serious crimes are being pursued, including Mr. Romanowski, who fled to Hungary - stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TVP Info.

20:05

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Romanowski:

He Fled His Job, Fled Poland, and Tries to Pretend He's a Hero.
- I have the impression that the individual [Marcin Romanowski] committed a real crime, and one could have, I don't know, someone might have had doubts that this crime was committed, until he de facto admitted to it by fleeing justice. And truly, these are not some heroic deeds, but rather a very mundane matter... embezzlement of public funds - Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said on TVN24. - The Member of Parliament is suspected of a very specific crime... it is highly probable that he committed this embezzlement, there is hard evidence for it, and now, instead of addressing this matter, he is trying to build a figure of a heroic man fighting for a great cause, a hero. He is no hero, there is no heroic cause he is fighting for, it is a smokescreen for the fact that he does not want to appear in court... and on top of that, he fled his job - she continued. - He fled his job, he fled Poland, he doesn't show up anywhere and tries to pretend he's a hero - she went on to say.

20:11

"Effective, Efficient, and Capable": Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Poland's EU Presidency
- We are starting the presidency [in the EU], this presidency will certainly be conducted effectively, efficiently, and ideally, there will be good cooperation within the so-called trio, meaning the previous presidency [...] these are literally the last hours of the Hungarian presidency and the upcoming Polish presidency - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24. - I don't think this cooperation will be good given the current situation [regarding asylum for Marcin Romanowski], but that doesn't mean the Polish presidency won't be effective, efficient, and capable, it will be - she continued.

20:12

Siemoniak:

If Someone Wants to Stay in Hungary for Decades, Let Them. The Republic of Poland is Patient

- They will be pursued to the very end. If someone wants to stay in Hungary for decades, let them. The Republic of Poland is patient, it will bring all these individuals before the justice system - stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TVP Info.

20:12

Ziobro:

Is there any country in Europe where the government blocks the publication of Constitutional Tribunal rulings? Witwicki: Szydło did it. Ziobro: Once, then it was published. Now it concerns all of them.
- Have you heard if there is any country in Europe or any democratic country in the world where the government blocks the publication and implementation of Constitutional Tribunal rulings? - said Zbigniew Ziobro on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events). - Yes, I have heard. When Beata Szydło did it - replied Piotr Witwicki. - Once, regarding one ruling, which was, incidentally, published later. And now it concerns all of them, without exception - commented the politician.

20:17

Ziobro on Nawrocki:

A Strong Man, He Will Handle It Excellently.
- Karol Nawrocki is a strong man, he is also an excellent boxer by the way, but also strong in character. He showed character when Civic Platform wanted to impose a certain vision for the museum he was in charge of. He had the courage to say “no” and did what he considered good and appropriate for showing historical truth - said Zbigniew Ziobro in “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News. - I am convinced he will handle it excellently on his own. He doesn’t need a lawyer in my person - he added.

20:18

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on the KPO:

By Mid-Next Year, We'll Be Able to Say What We've Managed to Save.
- Two years of delay, one year of implementation [...] within these 12 months, we've passed the halfway point regarding the submission of applications [for KPO payouts], meaning we've submitted them. Today I just signed the 4th and 5th applications, again two at once. Previously, the 2nd and 3rd were also two at once, so we're really moving at double speed. Will we make up for the entire two years? I don't know - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24. - By mid-next year, we'll be able to say approximately what we've managed to save and what, unfortunately, is unachievable. I also don't want to raise the white flag too early and say: we won't do this or we won't do that - she continued.

20:26

Kobosko and Collegium Humanum. Pełczyńska-Nałęcz: There is no reason for explanations here
- The whole thing is a bit incomprehensible to me, what are we talking about, because what is the essence of the real problem with Collegium Humanum: we are dealing with a very bad practice of buying diplomas. There is no mention of that here at all, nor did anyone buy diplomas, nor did anyone study or artificially study, nothing like that is happening - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24, when asked about the correspondence that Michał Kobosko allegedly had with the rector of Collegium Humanum. - There is not a single trace there of anyone wanting to buy diplomas - she continued. - There is no reason for explanations here, however, yes, MEP Kobosko intends to pursue legal action, but that is about something else, about the violation of his personal rights - she further stated, when asked if no one expects Michał Kobosko to provide detailed explanations.

20:43

Ziobro:

My Views as Minister Were Very Mild Compared to What We Will Do When We Return
- I was perceived in the government as a hawk when it came to the scope of changes [in the justice system]. But today, my views compared to many colleagues who observe what is happening, from that time, I am a dove - said Zbigniew Ziobro in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - Those views of mine were very mild compared to what we will do when we return. We will have to restore the rule of law in Poland - he stated.

20:52

Ziobro:

I Will Never Voluntarily Appear Before a Commission That Does Not Exist
- I will never voluntarily appear before a commission that does not exist. This [investigative] commission [on Pegasus] does not exist because the Constitutional Tribunal [...] ruled on the matter and stated that it was established illegally and invalidated it - said Zbigniew Ziobro on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

20:59

What Would Ziobro Do If He Were to Be Detained? 'I Am an Advocate of Using the Right to Self-Defense'
- I am an advocate of using the right to self-defense - said Zbigniew Ziobro in Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events), when asked what he would do if he were to be detained. - When it comes to my nature and my character, I prefer confrontation - he added. He stated: - Self-defense can take various forms. It can also take the form of a protest - if you are asking me about the former Pegasus committee, which was invalidated [...] - then if a rigged court [...] decides that I will be brought in, I will certainly not offer physical resistance to the police officers. However, I will express what I think about it once I am brought before the committee. In short, I will not give testimony.
