Siemoniak:

Twice as Many Illegal Border Crossing Attempts as Last Year
- The situation is escalating, and the pressure on the border is growing. According to the Border Guard's data, we are dealing with twice as many attempts to illegally cross the border as last year, and unfortunately, soldiers and officers are the victims - said Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Karol Surówka on PR1's "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day). - I have no doubt that [the increased pressure is a deliberate decision] by Minsk and Moscow. 90% of these individuals have Russian visas, they flew to Moscow or other Russian cities, and they are brought to the border. [...] I have no doubt [that someone is forcing them to be aggressive] - he continued.

07:55

Siemoniak:

Border Guard and Army to be Trained to Act Against Aggressive Crowds
- We are changing our methods of operation; riot police units are arriving, and the Border Guard and the army will also be trained together with the police to operate in the way one deals with an aggressive crowd. It's difficult to blame soldiers or the Border Guard when they haven't been trained to combat these types of situations. But now the police have deployed forces, and training is beginning - said Tomasz Siemoniak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

08:14

Siemoniak:

10 People Arrested in Connection with Sabotage Attempts
- We are dealing with hybrid aggression, with attempts at arson, sabotage acts on Polish territory. We have no doubt that this is happening on the orders of Russian services, and not only in Poland. 10 people are in custody in connection with this - said Tomasz Siemoniak in "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1. - We are dealing with cyberaggression, the recent attempt to disseminate false information that could have caused immense emotions, panic, so this is happening on various fronts - he added.

08:14

Duda on Kolarski: I Support a Man with Excellent Qualifications to Become Poland's Representative in the EP

- I support a man whom I believe has excellent qualifications to become Poland's representative in the EP. And I hope that the residents of Wielkopolska, regardless of their political affiliation, their beliefs, will entrust him with this task, because he is a man who is excellently prepared for it and suited for it - stated President Andrzej Duda on RMF FM.

08:26

Duda Asked About 'Red is Bad' Company: 'I Learned About This Situation Yesterday from the Media'

- I wear various clothing. I try to wear Polish clothing. The company 'Red is Bad' is a Polish clothing manufacturer, and of course, I sometimes wear their clothes. Honestly, I learned about this situation yesterday from the media, I wasn't aware of it. However, well, any other clothing manufacturer in Poland could have produced attractive, nice t-shirts for the anniversaries of the Warsaw Uprising, but somehow others didn't. It just so happened that Red is Bad produced these t-shirts, and I did indeed wear them - stated President Andrzej Duda on RMF FM.

08:30

Duda:

EC Said Rule of Law Restored. I See No Need to Change the KRS Act

- Editor, first of all, I apologize, what compromise? After all, the EC recently concluded the Article 7 procedure, saying that everything is in order in Poland, that the rule of law has already been restored in Poland. There is no need to change any law. It turns out that we are already a rule-of-law state. No conditions were set. I see no need to change the KRS Act at the moment, given that the EC was shouting so much about how this, among other things, is a violation of the rule of law, and now it turns out that it is no longer - stated President Andrzej Duda on RMF FM.

08:32

Duda:

As it turns out, all it took to restore the rule of law, according to the EC, was to change the authorities in Poland

- I am smiling because, as it turns out, all it took to restore the rule of law, according to the European Commission, was to change the authorities in Poland. This is a very peculiar approach when it comes to democracy - stated President Andrzej Duda on RMF FM.

08:42

Morawiecki Announces First Stops:

We're Going on a Tour of Broken Promises.
- Today we are starting a tour that aims to make Poles aware of the difference between how we governed and how Donald Tusk and his team are governing. Poland governed during the times of Law and Justice was a Poland with a plus. 500+, 800+, Maluch+, Senior+, Kolej+, one could say development plus security. Meanwhile, Poland governed by the current coalition [...] is a Poland with a minus. Poland minus the shields that were meant to protect Poles, but are ceasing to protect Poles, Poland minus the 14th pension [...] CPK minus, nuclear minus, railway minus - said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference. - To make Poles realize this, we have prepared a comprehensive report. This is a report on the first half-year of Donald Tusk and his team's government. This report shows a large area of neglect, a lack of decision-making [...] how Poland could develop if it had an ambitious government - he continued. - Freedom also minus, rule of law also minus, but the current prime minister is not known for his ambition or diligence, which is why we will go on a tour of all these promised, already broken, promises, a tour of part of the 100 specific points [...]. We will remind people of some of what Donald Tusk promised and failed to deliver, as well as show how Poland could develop if we had an ambitious government, a government that keeps its word - he went on to say. - We are setting off on a tour, our first stop, even before Marywilska, will be "Yes to CPK," we will head to the Sejm, where signatures are being collected for this project - he added.

08:46

Duda:

Absolutely Not Documents That Would In Any Way Compromise Ambassador Szatkowski

- I received the documents, but they are absolutely not documents which, in my opinion, would in any way compromise Ambassador Szatkowski, because they were sent to me under a non-disclosure regime. Therefore, I cannot refer to their content in any way. I can only say that the content of these documents has nothing to do with the function that Mr. Ambassador performed for Poland in Brussels at NATO, at NATO headquarters, over the past few years - stated President Andrzej Duda on RMF FM.

09:04

Tomczyk on the Attack on a Soldier at the Border:

It Was an Attempt to Kill.
- The soldier who was wounded a few days ago is fighting for his life, and today, after a thorough analysis of this case, I want to state very clearly that this attack on a Polish soldier, who is fighting for his life today, was an attempt to kill, and we must realize the threat we are facing – stated Cezary Tomczyk in the program "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24. - There are more such attempts to illegally cross the border. We are talking about a twofold increase compared to last year. Since January alone, there were 17,000 people who wanted to illegally cross the border, while today we are at a peak moment, with approximately 300 attempts per day to illegally cross the border, meaning to destroy the barrier and enter Polish territory. Incidentally, these groups very often attack Polish soldiers and Polish border guards – he continued.

09:05

Duda responds to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, invoking the Constitution and a Constitutional Tribunal ruling:

Sikorski is not a lawyer

- Minister Sikorski is not a lawyer, therefore I do not expect him to have a deep knowledge of constitutional law, but basic reading of the Constitution should nevertheless be at least to a small extent within the purview of constitutional ministers as well. It is clearly written that the principle of cooperation applies to all of us, meaning the president on one hand, but also the prime minister and the minister of foreign affairs. This principle, according to a ruling by the Constitutional Tribunal, which was in fact initiated by Donald Tusk in 2009, in the famous dispute over the chair, when he tried to prevent Lech Kaczyński from representing Poland in Brussels and took away his plane along with his then-friend, Minister Arabski, this dispute was then resolved by the Constitutional Tribunal, and the Tribunal clearly stated that politicians holding these highest offices in the state are obliged to cooperate in international matters - stated President Andrzej Duda in RMF FM.

09:07

Dozens of Crucial Kilometers from the Perspective of State Security. Tomczyk on the Buffer Zone at the Border
- This week, consultations on this matter [the buffer zone] will be ongoing, meaning first consultations, and then a decision. This is how it will be in this case: consultations with local authorities. I believe it is always the right approach to conduct consultations first and then make a decision – stated Cezary Tomczyk on TVN24. - The decision regarding a certain fact is made, meaning we want this security zone to actually be in effect. However, I would also like to reassure people here. Firstly, it is not the entire border of the Republic of Poland with Belarus; it is dozens of crucial kilometers from the perspective of state security, where the situation is most heated, where we have the most attempts at illegal crossing – he continued.

09:09

Tomczyk on Denouncing the Ottawa Convention:

If It's in Poland's Interest, We Will Consider It.
"We cannot rule out denouncing this [Ottawa] Convention today if it is in Poland's interest; yes, then we will consider such a possibility," stated Cezary Tomczyk on TVN24.

09:17

Duda:

Government is Breaking Diplomat Nomination Procedures

- The government is breaking the procedures for nominating diplomats to ambassadorial posts, which are binding in Poland and have been in place for over, I think, 30 years. Namely, the procedure until now was very simple: the MFA would send an initial candidate proposal for an ambassador to the President, and the President would typically write 'consent' or 'no consent' on such a document, and it would return to the MFA. If there was consent, then with such preliminary consent from the President, the further procedure would commence - stated President Andrzej Duda on RMF FM.

09:17

Duda on the ambassador dispute:

Poland will be embarrassed on the international stage.

- Currently, there is an attempt to force nominations for ambassadorial positions, without the prior consent of the President of the Republic of Poland, without consultation with the President of the Republic of Poland, which means that at the moment when such a candidate for ambassador is proposed to a foreign country, the country initially agrees to their acceptance, and then there is a problem because the president has a different opinion, Poland will be embarrassed on the international stage - stated President Andrzej Duda in an interview with RMF FM.

09:25

Duda:

I am a Defender of the Constitutional and Legal Order
- First and foremost, let's start with the fact that I am a defender of the constitutional and legal order. Because a lot of these actions, for example, the removal of the National Prosecutor and the attempt to appoint a new one in his place, took place as absolute lawlessness. I want to say this with all my might, it is complete, total lawlessness. Even the National Bar Council refused to appoint its representative, as it was called, to this so-called competition for the National Prosecutor, because it was devoid of any legal basis - stated President Andrzej Duda on RMF FM.

09:26

Duda:

Rule of Law in Poland is Being Violated Only Now

- The rule of law in Poland is being violated only now. Truly. It wasn't before. Because before, everything was settled on democratic principles and everything was based on laws, not on the Prime Minister's decrees and the ministers' whims – stated President Andrzej Duda on RMF FM.

09:40

Morawiecki on Flooding in Southern Poland:

I Call on Prime Minister Tusk to Convene a Crisis Staff, Not Organize Rallies.
- Today we are also dealing with a tragic situation of flooding in many places in southern Poland. I call on Prime Minister Tusk, in connection with these floods, in connection with this inundation, in connection with the material losses that are not only threatening Poles but have already occurred there, to convene a crisis staff to deal with these serious problems we are facing there, and not to organize some meetings, rallies, which have nothing to do with the real governing by the Prime Minister of the government. The Prime Minister must act - said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

09:51

Morawiecki:

Marywilska Shows a Concrete Example of Civic Platform's Inaction
- Here in Marywilska, Warsaw, we have a very concrete example, seen through a magnifying glass, of how the Civic Platform operates, or rather how it doesn't operate, of how the Civic Platform's inaction looks. During my government's tenure, we offered ZUS payment relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, a tourist voucher for the entire tourism sector. We reduced VAT rates on heating, electricity, gas, and fuels at the outbreak of the war and the subsequent price surge - said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference. - Here in Marywilska, people who lost their life's work were offered 2,000 zlotys. Let all Poles judge how this government operates, how it should operate, or rather, how it actually doesn't operate - he continued.

09:56

Morawiecki:

Nothing will happen if witnesses summoned by the inquiry committee appear a few days later
- Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński is in Brussels for a very important event, and really, in the final days before the campaign [elections], must Mr. Szczerba and Mr. Joński be campaigning? [...] All Poles see this, so perhaps some media outlets would also notice that this is part of the election campaign - Mateusz Morawiecki said at a press conference. - Let's wait a few days, nothing will happen if politicians summoned [by the inquiry committee] or summoned witnesses appear a few days later - he continued.

10:42

Rau at the Visa Committee: A Cascade of Fake News, Slander, and Lies Occurred

- A cascade of fake news, slander, and lies occurred. Today, as I stand before this committee a few days before its work concludes, I maintain the exact same position as I did last September. This is because, contrary to the opposition's accusations, there was no mass issuance of hundreds of thousands of visas for bribes from foreigners. There was no visa trading at stalls set up in front of Polish diplomatic missions in African countries. There was no corruption among the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its foreign missions. There were no pressures from the MFA leadership on consular services to facilitate corrupt practices - stated Zbigniew Rau during the session of the parliamentary investigative committee concerning the visa scandal.

12:33

Morawiecki Publishes a Report on the Government's First Half-Year Just Hours Before Tusk's Rally:

He Chose the Path of Broken Promises.
#WasPlusIsMinus – these are the results of Donald Tusk's first six months as prime minister and the title of a report that exposes the consequences of his team's disastrous governance. There were 100 promises – now there are a hundred disappointments. The new coalition government, lacking ambition, prefers to destroy rather than build. This is the shortest summary of the first 6 months of the KO government and its allies – wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on Twitter, publishing a report on the first half-year of Donald Tusk's government. “When PiS was in power, success and ambition were synonyms for Poland. My government pursued a vision of development that guarantees security and prosperity for future generations. Donald Tusk has chosen the path of broken promises. A path we are traveling today to remind Poles what we can do to return to the highway to success. The report reveals the truth about the current authorities' work and their concerning outcomes. Increases in food, energy, and gas prices, delays, and question marks over the CPK or Polish nuclear energy projects.

12:46

Brudziński:

Where is the Government? I Call on Tusk and Siemoniak for Immediate Assistance

- Five years ago, as head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, I interrupted my election campaign and went with Prime Minister Morawiecki to coordinate relief efforts in the flooded areas of southern Poland. Where is the Polish government today? I call on Prime Minister Tusk and the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, T. Siemoniak, for immediate assistance to all those who need it after the storms in southern Poland - wrote Joachim Brudziński on Twitter.

13:03

Hołownia:

Today We Have a Chance to Be Where Our Homeland Needs Us

- Today we have a chance to be wise before the damage, because this damage is knocking at the door, but we have a chance to finally be on time, where our homeland will need us. Looking at how we are preparing for this, how we are thinking about it, I believe we will be ready. The second thing is development; you cannot just steer people away from something and show where we are coming from, you have to lead them towards something. People today want to fall in love with a vision of Poland, with a developing economy, with the dreams our children have; this cannot be neglected, whether it is a time of war or a time of peace, a vision must guide us, and thirdly, very important and the most difficult to achieve in the Sejm, reconciliation – stated Szymon Hołownia in Gdańsk.

13:04

Hołownia on the June 9th Elections:

We Must Make This Choice, Just Like 35 Years Ago.

- Today, we must mobilize and on June 9th, make the same choice once again that we made 35 years ago. To repeat that choice, a choice for freedom, a choice for self-determination, a choice for a wise, free, united, better, hospitable Poland, open to others. This is what is at stake in these elections, and that is why, regardless of what happens then, we cannot be absent from the polls on June 9th – said Szymon Hołownia in Gdańsk.

Kaczyński Meets Polish Farmers Protesting in Brussels

The leader of Law and Justice (PiS), Jarosław Kaczyński, met with Polish farmers protesting in Brussels.

15:55

Government Monitors Situation Following Intense Rainfall. CIR Issues Statement

- Minister of the Interior and Administration, Tomasz Siemoniak, informed the government about the situation and the ongoing actions of services in response to intense rainfall in southern Poland. The Minister is in constant contact with the Silesian Voivode, who is present in Bielsko-Biała and the surrounding area. Before 3:00 PM, the Voivode also reported on the proceedings of the municipal and district crisis management teams. The situation is being monitored on an ongoing basis – informed the Government Information Centre (CIR).

16:04

Trzaskowski Encourages Participation in the March:

Of Course I'll Be There.

- Of course I'll be there. I encourage everyone to participate in this march. June 4th is an incredibly important date for us, because, first of all, the semi-free elections took place in '89. From that date, our march towards a fully democratic state began. I also remind you that a similar march took place a year ago, and in a sense, it contributed to democracy winning once again last year, that we had the election results we did, that we managed to defeat the populists – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

17:33

Kaczyński sums up meetings with farmers:

The Green Deal is not just the annihilation of agriculture, but a powerful blow to Europeans' wallets.
- I came here in connection with the farmers' protest and had meetings with farmers, which were very interesting, sometimes quite long, allowing us to clarify various matters, and also to listen to various kinds of complaints directed at us - said Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference. - You know, we are decidedly against the Green Deal, against madness, against all that which harms not only the interests of farmers, but also harms democracy, because democracy assumes that individual social groups have a guaranteed status and that this status is inviolable, and even more so, within a democratic system, it is not possible, because that means its end, to annihilate a social group, and what is happening in connection with the Green Deal, when it comes to farmers and on a European scale, not Polish, it essentially means annihilation and this is very important - he continued. - The issue of Europe's security, food security, is also very important, this protest also essentially concerned this, because Europe cannot construct its policy based on a certain utopia, a utopia of a global world, where goods can be exchanged without any additional contexts, without any conditions, on purely market principles, for example, there is no agriculture in Europe or almost none, but agriculture is in Latin America and there is an exchange, they supply food here, we supply them with various kinds of equipment produced in Europe, which they need for their economic development. This is a beautiful picture, but it has nothing to do with the current situation in the world, which is divided, where there is a struggle of anti-democratic forces, forces that reject our civilization - he went on to say. - The first [point] concerned matters that were relatively uncontroversial or not controversial at all, i.e., those that concerned aid related to animal welfare [...] and that was good, whereas the second, the Green Deal, simply means not only this annihilation of agriculture, but a powerful blow, to put it simply, to Europeans' wallets, but it also means a blow to the European economy [...]. I am very satisfied with this visit and I believe it was my duty to be here on such a day - he added.

17:34

Kaczyński on the Visa Scandal:

It was an international conspiracy to take power from us.

- As for this commission, I will gladly testify before it, because all commissions are a disgrace to PO and its allies, but this commission, which reveals that the entire large campaign about a great, gigantic scandal involving hundreds of thousands of visas is one big lie, and an international one at that, because Chancellor Scholz, I believe, because I haven't been observing it, that Minister Rau explained it to him today, he must have known that it was all untrue, Mrs. Johansson also probably had to know that it was all untrue. It was an international conspiracy, successful, of course, to take power from us, and this blow was accurate; it indeed brought us serious electoral losses. Without it, the political alignment in parliament would probably be different - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press briefing in Brussels.

17:38

Kaczyński Denies Reports of Party Name Change
Regarding the second matter, I'll say right away that [PiS is not considering changing the party's name] - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press briefing in Brussels.

17:43

Kaczyński:

I will appear before the investigative committee, but with one condition

- I will appear [before the investigative committee], but with one condition. That it won't be on the basis of someone threatening me with the police, because if someone wants to move away from parliamentary immunity in Poland, then by all means, let them present a suitable bill and then it's fine - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press briefing in Brussels.

17:52

Bodnar Writes to the National Electoral Commission Regarding the Justice Fund and Campaign Financing

Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar has addressed the Head of the National Electoral Commission, Magdalena Pietrzak, requesting that the National Electoral Commission (PKW) – utilizing its statutory powers – verify whether expenditures made from the Justice Fund (Fundusz Sprawiedliwości) comply with the provisions of the Electoral Code, specifically through the lens of adherence to the rules of election campaign financing – as informed by the Ministry of Justice in a statement.

The previous leadership of the Ministry of Justice granted a total of 2,043 subsidies amounting to PLN 224 million (including PLN 201.1 million in constituencies where Sovereign Poland candidates ran) – Bodnar wrote in a letter, as quoted on the ministry's website. The minister pointed out that subsidies from the Justice Fund were awarded between 2019 and 2023, a period coinciding with parliamentary elections to the Sejm and Senate, as well as a referendum campaign.

18:09

Tusk Kicks Off Rally at Castle Square:

Poland Has Not Grown Tired of Freedom.
I was speechless. So many pessimists and our opponents said: they won't come, they've grown tired, and yet here you are. Because Poland has not grown tired of freedom - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the June 4th rally in Warsaw.

18:14

Tusk:

Nothing is given forever, we cannot fall asleep, we cannot rest

- Today, Lech Wałęsa is also here to remind you all of this. Nothing is given forever, we cannot fall asleep, we cannot rest - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the June 4th rally in Warsaw.

18:19

Tusk at a Rally Reveals Biden’s Words:

We Will Face This Evil.
After October 15th, Europe and the world opened their eyes wide and said: listen, there is hope in you, in Poland. I heard from President Biden and his closest associates that what happened in Poland helps Americans and Europeans believe that we will face this evil that lurks near our border, that we don't have to surrender, there's no question of capitulation, because Poles have shown that there really is no reason to surrender – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

18:22

Tusk:

Would We Really Want to Send a Delegation of Thieves, Scoundrels, and Conscienceless People Who Stole from Poland to Brussels?

- You know, in human terms, it's also important not to say more strongly: for God's sake, should we be ashamed of our representatives in Brussels, or would we really want to send a delegation of thieves, scoundrels, and conscienceless people who have been stealing from Poland for so many years? - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4 in Warsaw.

18:22

Tusk:

The June 9th Elections Will Be as Important as Those of June 4th
- Our great gatherings – of tens and hundreds of thousands of people – always take place in beautiful, sunny weather. The heavens favor us, and frankly, I'm not surprised. But dark clouds are also gathering over Poland, over this region, over all of Europe – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw. - Just as we were ending the era of Soviet occupation in Central Europe, in Poland, back then, so now we are all focused, every day, on ensuring that Poland is strong, Europe is strong, Poles are united, and that Europe is united, because this is the only way to avoid the tragedy of war on our lands – he continued. - Today, I have summoned you to Warsaw so that we can all together, as loudly as possible, appeal to everyone in Poland and in Europe: this day, June 9th, these elections will be as important as our elections of June 4th, 1989 – he emphasized.

18:23

"Wanted Lists": Tusk on PiS's European Parliament Candidacy Lists
I've reviewed the PiS candidates' lists for the European Parliament once again. These are, you know, essentially wanted lists, not lists for parliament – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

18:23

Tusk:

Nothing has the right to endanger the lives of our children and grandchildren

- No one has the right to endanger the lives of our children, our grandchildren, their future, simply through inaction. We will not have to, and I guarantee this to you, I promise you this, we will not have to pay a high price in the future for independence, for freedom, for our national and our Western European community, if we do not turn our backs on ourselves. If we do not turn a blind eye to villainy, if we understand that independence, freedom, and prosperity are the result of daily effort, and especially the effort of this very day – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk on June 4th in Warsaw.

18:25

Tusk:

PiS's Core Was Building a System for Stealing with Impunity Through Procedures

- Mr. Horała said that those who stole outside of the procedures should answer for their actions. But the essence of PiS, of Kaczyński's rule, was that they built a system for themselves which, in their opinion, allowed them to steal with impunity according to procedures - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

18:25

Tusk:

For the Kremlin, Politically Capturing Brussels Would Be More Important Than Capturing Kharkiv
- Believe me: over there in the Kremlin, for them, politically capturing Brussels would be more important than capturing Kharkiv. This fight over who will rule Poland, and now this fight over who will rule Europe, is also a fight to ensure that war does not cross our borders – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

18:29

Tusk:

The Border is Secure

- We will truly do everything so that, with a clear conscience, I want to be able to tell all of Poland with a clear conscience: the border is secure, and Poland is a good place on earth also for those who have found themselves here as guests - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

18:31

Tusk:

You Have Every Right to Complain That Not Everything is Going as Quickly and Smoothly as You'd Like

- You have every right to complain that not everything is going as quickly and smoothly as you'd like. Sometimes I regret that government meetings have to be discreet and are not public for obvious reasons, but if you could hear what I tell my ministers every Tuesday, your ears might wither. In a way, I'm in a similar situation to you; every day I clench my fists and teeth and think to myself: it must be faster, more efficient, and I ask for your understanding - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

Tusk:

If We Don't Go to the Polls on June 9th, No One Will Be Laughing

- If we don't go to the elections on June 9th, then none of you will be laughing. Not only will we jeopardize the greatest matters, our security, peace, freedom, and the independence of our homeland, but we will also be terribly ashamed, humanly speaking. There is no question, ladies and gentlemen, you are also here to tell Poles loudly: no, Poland will not be ashamed of its representatives. We will go to these elections on June 9th so that on June 10th, 11th, 12th, with a smile and pride on our faces, we can say, yes, these are Poles in Europe – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk on June 4th in Warsaw.

Tusk:

Want it faster? It will be faster.

- Want it faster? It will be faster. So, see for yourselves every day, with difficulty, but every day new facts emerge, every day my team and I manage to spur officials, the prosecution, and the police to better action – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

Tusk hits out at Hołownia:

Someone from the coalition will say that perhaps these accountability measures are unnecessary.
- Is it going slowly? Well, I'll tell you honestly, why it's going slowly. Because someone from the ruling coalition will say: 'maybe these accountability measures are unnecessary?'. Because some prosecutor will think: 'it's not known, maybe they will lose the elections again and then someone will return'. And some official will think: 'maybe I'll hide quietly, observe, because it's not known which side it will lean towards' - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4 in Warsaw. - Without you, we have no chance. With you, they have no chance. That's why I ask you: don't give in an inch - he emphasized.

Tusk:

I Will Ensure All of Europe Agrees on an Anti-Missile Dome
- We are also here to ensure Poland's security against potential aggression from the East. We will build a secure border, this Shield East project, a European project, because I also promise you this. I am well on my way, I will ensure that everyone in Europe agrees to this airborne dome that will protect Poland and all of Europe from missiles and projectiles from the East: from Russia or from Belarus. This is my commitment – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

Tusk:

On June 9th, We Will Go and Confirm Our Victory from October 15th
- I ask you, I call upon all of you here, in the heart of Warsaw, on Castle Square, and I call upon all of you across Poland: on June 9th, we will go and confirm our victory from October 15th. This is so that Poland, Polish women and men, our children and our grandchildren can believe in a good future, peace, and a secure homeland – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

Tusk:

30,000 People at Warsaw Rally

Trzaskowski:

Thanks to Tusk, We've Regained Influence Over What Happens in Europe
- Now, once again, it is necessary for us to be together and to convince everyone that we must go to the European elections. Because these elections are incredibly important. Thanks to Donald Tusk, we have finally regained influence over what is happening in Europe. Finally, we can influence the fact that Poland and Europe are safe, and that our interests are fully realized - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

Trzaskowski:

Jaki, Obajtek, Kamiński Are People Going to Europe Solely to Escape
- Look at the PiS electoral lists. I could name all those who ended up there. Jaki, Obajtek, Kamiński – these are people who are going to Europe solely to escape to it. They are unable to sort anything out for us there. They are going there, tails between their legs, just to look after themselves, just as they have looked after themselves for the past 8 years. Let's not allow them to do that – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw.

Trzaskowski:

There's a Chance We'll Have a Serious President in a Year
- This is another step that is very, very much needed. But since this date is meant to carry us forward, think about what might happen in a year. In a year, we might meet in the same place and this entire process will be complete. There's a chance we'll have a serious president. Someone who is respected in the world, who is taken seriously - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a rally on June 4th in Warsaw. The crowd gathered in Castle Square responded to Trzaskowski's words with chants: "Rafał, Rafał". - We have a chance to complete this process of change that began on October 15th. That we will ensure democracy is secured in Poland, that the courts are independent, that the media are free. That women's rights are respected - he emphasized. - We will ensure that Poland's voice is heard even more, just as the government's voice is heard today, just as the voice of our representatives in the European Parliament will be heard. […] We can achieve a situation where we have a president who listens, who cooperates. Who doesn't attack anyone, who doesn't stigmatize. Who won't say, for example, about Silesians, that he will veto their aspirations because perhaps it's a fragment of a hybrid war. Can you imagine that? - he continued. - Our president has aspirations - he would like us all to fly our own planes. But what matters to us is that these aspirations are rational and serious - he pointed out.
