Müller:

I Hope Projects on 'Abortion on Demand' Will Be Rejected, the Compromise Bill is Debatable
- I have mixed feelings about the bill presented by the Polish People's Party [...] regarding the latter bill, I will abstain from voting and await the committee's work, because in this form [...] I would likely not be inclined to vote for this bill, however, I am unequivocally against abortion on demand - stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Grzegorz Osiecki on "Sygnały Dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1. - Today, we are not deciding on the final support for these bills, but only whether they should be further processed in committee. I hope that the bills concerning abortion on demand will be rejected, meaning the most radical ones. The compromise bill is a debatable issue, but also debatable in the sense that, in my opinion, it should undergo changes in further committee work if it were to be adopted - he continued.

07:58

Müller:

Sienkiewicz Should Stand Trial Before the State Tribunal
- I would suggest that Minister Sienkiewicz himself submit an motion for his own impeachment for the illegal takeover of public media. [...] If Minister Sienkiewicz is putting forward the thesis about bringing the head of the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) before the State Tribunal, then my direct response is: Minister Sienkiewicz should stand before the State Tribunal for acting illegally in these matters – said Piotr Müller on PR1. - I don't know [if we will submit a motion to bring Sienkiewicz before the TS]. At the moment, there is no chance of it being passed, and therefore it would probably be unfounded in the sense that it would be difficult to implement. However, in the future, I think it is seriously worth considering – he continued.

08:06

Müller:

Tusk Claimed He Could Easily Get Things Done in the EU. Then Let Him Call His Colleagues and Get the Migration Pact Blocked
- Donald Tusk, the king of Europe, allegedly the best European diplomat of all, claimed he could simply get things done in the European Union. Then let him call right now those colleagues he claimed to have and who he said could sort everything out, and let him sort out a fundamental matter: blocking the migration pact – said Piotr Müller on PR1. - We are not claiming that everything can be easily resolved in the European Union. Donald Tusk claimed so, that he is simply received in circles in such a way that he will sort everything out – he continued.

08:13

Domański:

Poland's Economy Has Benefited Numerous Times from Having its Own Currency

- No [introducing the euro would not help the Polish economy], although it is, of course, a more complex issue. Poland's economy has benefited numerous times from having its own currency, which supports economic growth during times of economic crises - stated Andrzej Domański in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

08:16

Domański:

I've Been Obligated to Present a Plan for Implementing the PLN 60,000 Tax-Free Allowance During the Term, and We Are Working on Such a Plan at the Ministry of Finance

- I have been obligated by the Prime Minister to present a plan for introducing the PLN 60,000 [tax-free] allowance during the term, and we are working on such a plan at the Ministry of Finance, so for this, a little while longer, but not too long, will need to be waited. We are working to make it as soon as possible, but of course, we must remember about the stability of public finances - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

08:18

Domański:

We are working on raising the turnover limit for taxpayers required to register for VAT

- We are working on raising the turnover limit for taxpayers which obliges them to register for VAT. This limit currently stands at 200,000 PLN, and we want it to be 240,000 PLN. Registration for VAT will be required above 240,000 PLN, and this is a limit that has not been raised, I believe, since 2017 – stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

08:19

Müller on EP Elections: Kurski Didn't Express Interest in Pomeranian Voivodeship, Kamiński and Wąsik to be Decided by Political Committee, Morawiecki Not Planning to Run
- I think that they [PiS's EP lists] will only be fully submitted towards the end, the process of arranging these lists is currently underway [...] they will likely be presented at the end of April - said Piotr Müller on PR1. - He [Jacek Kurski] did not express such an interest that I would propose him in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, so I don't know about that [...] I am not involved in the process of arranging lists in other voivodeships - he continued. - This is a matter [potential candidacy of Kamiński and Wąsik for EP] to be decided, of course, by the political committee [...]. To the European Parliament? [Mateusz Morawiecki] He is not planning to run - he went on to say.

08:29

Domański:

The Discussion About the Euro is Currently a Purely Placeholder Debate

- At this moment, the discussion about the euro is a purely placeholder debate. We are not having discussions in the government about introducing the euro in Poland; there is no separate unit in the Ministry of Finance dealing with this. What we are doing is restoring the strength of the Polish economy, so that we can meet, among other things, the so-called convergence criteria - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

08:34

Domański:

Inflation at the end of this year will likely be around 4-5%

- In my opinion, inflation at the end of this year will likely be around 4-5%. We will see a slight rebound in the second half of the year. It may rise slightly, we are constantly talking about deviations close to the NBP's target. I don't think there is a risk of such rampant price increases as we experienced in previous years repeating themselves - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

08:51

Żukowska:

If something unplanned happens during votes on Lewica's abortion bills, a failure to keep agreements, there will be a reaction
- Lewica has declared it will vote for all four bills. Ours are voted on first. If it turns out that something unplanned, unexpected happens, something that constitutes a failure to keep agreements, for example with Marshal Hołownia, then there will be a reaction - said Anna Maria Żukowska in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. When asked if her party would not support the Third Way's bill if PSL MPs do not vote for Lewica's bills, she replied: Yes.

09:04

Duda:

Perpetrators of the Katyń Massacre Never Held Accountable, Perhaps That's Why Bucha Happened Later
- There is no doubt that Stalin, that the leaders of the Soviet state wanted to eliminate the Polish elite, they wanted to, in effect, begin the annihilation of the Polish nation by murdering the elites. Annihilation of a nation begins with its elites. That was the goal. Primarily, Polish officers were murdered [...]. We speak symbolically of the Katyń crime, although we know very well that there were many such places. In total, over 22,000 people, Polish intellectuals [...]. They were brutally murdered, mostly with a shot to the back of the head, but we know very well that the number of Polish victims in the East at that time and later was immense - said President Andrzej Duda in a statement to the media.

- Today, we also call for justice, for this crime to be explained in detail. Russia admitted to it after the collapse of the Soviet state, but today it is known that this history, there are new attempts to erase it. Fortunately, documents have been accessed and we know very well that it was none other than the leadership of the Soviet state, headed by Stalin, who issued the order to murder Polish officers. Does today's Russia, which is no longer Soviet Russia, but is still Russia, in which imperial ambitions have been reborn, act differently? We have seen in recent years, during Russia's aggression against Ukraine, the crime committed by Russian soldiers in Bucha. We see the scale of crimes they commit daily in the areas occupied and attacked by them in Ukraine - he continued.

- The world demands justice. Crimes must be punished, perpetrators must be identified [...] judged [...] they should be convicted, they should answer to the world for their crimes, their faces should be known to the world, they should be stigmatized, so that it never happens again. Just as the Katyń crime was never punished, just as the perpetrators of the Katyń crime were never held accountable, perhaps that is precisely why Bucha and other crimes we have witnessed in recent years happened - he went on to say.

09:06

Żukowska:

The Left's Strategy Must Change, There Needs to Be Greater Cohesion in the Club's Narrative. It Must Be Clear What Our Stance Is
- The [local election] result is unsatisfactory, [...] we need to draw conclusions. We are currently in the analysis phase. There are various hypotheses, including the hypothesis that we are simultaneously one foot in government and the other foot in opposition as a club. [...] This is an extraordinary situation, it has never happened in the Polish parliament for such a club to exist. Perhaps this is it,” said Anna Maria Żukowska in RMF FM’s “Morning Interview”. - The strategy must change, and in my opinion, there needs to be greater cohesion in the club’s narrative. It must be clear what our stance is,” she continued. - I am the last person who would recommend that [‘grabbing Razem by the face’], because I, along with my partners, of course, led to the formation of a list together with Razem and urban movements in Warsaw, which translated into, I think, a success. Eight mandates in the city council,” she emphasized.

09:18

Żukowska on the Left's Presidential Candidate: I'm Not Suited for It and Don't Want To, But All My Colleagues are Competent and Fully Predisposed
- It will probably be a woman [the Left's candidate for President of Poland], I don't know if it will be Magdalena Biejat. […] I emphasize, I repeat: this is absolutely not a direction I would want to go in. Me, absolutely not, I'm not suited for it and I don't want to. But all my colleagues from the club have the competencies and full predisposition to run for president - said Anna Maria Żukowska in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

09:22

Żukowska:

I'm Considering Running for the European Parliament
- We'll see [if I will run for the European Parliament]. Currently, we are in the process of discussions regarding the formation of electoral lists - said Anna Maria Żukowska in the 'Morning Conversation' on RMF FM. - I'm considering it because I believe we need to support the entire committee, which should achieve a result allowing us to bounce back after this local election outcome - she added later.

09:37

Leszczyna:

I believe politicians will keep their word, and all 4 abortion bills will be sent to committee for discussion
- I believe that politicians are serious and honest. If we have been discussing abortion for 30 years, and if we know perfectly well that society is polarized on this issue, but the majority of society expects liberalization of abortion law, and today the ruling party, my Prime Minister, but also Mr. Marshal Hołownia, Mr. Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz have promised that we will discuss in the Sejm bills liberalizing abortion law, then they will keep their word and simply all these 4 bills will be sent to a committee that will really start discussing – stated Izabela Leszczyna in the program "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24. - In Civic Coalition (KO), Donald Tusk has clearly stated for months: on the PO lists, more broadly on the coalition lists, there will be those people who will not vote against discussing, talking about liberalizing abortion law. This is not a threat [lack of space on the list in case of breaking party discipline on abortion], it is a gentleman's agreement. We have truly agreed on something, let's be responsible, serious, and implement what we have agreed upon with the voters – she continued.

09:43

Leszczyna:

I Want the Regulation on Abortion, Concerning General Contract Terms Between the NFZ and the Department, to Be in Force from May 1st
- The guidelines are from scientific societies. What I am doing, what the Prime Minister is doing, and what I am working on and want to be in effect from May 1st, is a regulation. A regulation carries more weight than guidelines. My regulation is a regulation on the general terms of contracts between the National Health Fund (NFZ) and a gynaecology and obstetrics department. In this regulation, I clearly state the following: if you have a contract with the NFZ for gynaecology and obstetrics care, and a woman comes to you and requests pregnancy termination, and in these two cases, that department has an obligation to terminate the pregnancy on-site – said Izabela Leszczyna on TVN24.

10:13

Schetyna on Abortion: I'd Like All 4 Bills to Go to Committee, as I Believe It's a Test of the Political Class's Maturity

- I would like all 4 bills to go to committee, because I believe it is a test of the political class's maturity for today, and then we will see what comes of it. I accept the opinion and stance of Civic Platform (PO) regarding this variant - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski on the program "Sedno sprawy" (The Heart of the Matter) on Radio Plus.

10:14

Schetyna:

Yesterday a debate, today a vote, perhaps an agreement can be found that won't reduce the issue of women's rights and abortion to an internal war

- The world has changed, Polish politics has changed, as has the attitude towards women's rights, and the Decalogue has not changed, which is why we need to find a political position and perspective on new challenges within PO, KO in this new situation. We will see, yesterday a debate, today a vote, perhaps an agreement can be found that will not once again reduce the issue of women's rights and abortion to such an internal, domestic war – stated Grzegorz Schetyna on the program “Sedno sprawy” on Radio Plus.

10:22

Schetyna on the Migration Pact: In This Formula, It's Impossible
I believe that in this formula, it is impossible, unless there is effective investment in the protection of the European Union's external borders. We will not accept it in this form; we have said this. The problem is that the path for illegal migrants and smugglers is the best for those who want to smuggle; we are on the front line of this threat – stated Grzegorz Schetyna in the program “Sedno sprawy” on Radio Plus.

11:51

Nowacka Announces New Subject to Replace WDŻ: "For our government, health issues are an absolute priority"
- Together with Minister Izabela Leszczyna and Minister Sławomir Nitras, we have decided to support Polish education with an essential component – the component of health education. I have established a team, in cooperation with the ministers, which will prepare the assumptions and curriculum for a new subject, which will be called Health Education - Barbara Nowacka said at a press conference. - This subject will replace the current WDŻ [Relationships, Social and Sex Education], but it will be a holistic subject, significantly broader. We would like to approach the topic of healthcare and prevention with particular seriousness. […] It will be a subject that will include components of mental health, which is so important and frequently postulated today […], physical health and nutrition – this component is the responsibility of the Ministry of Sport, prevention – the Ministry of Health, as well as addiction issues and, of course, matters concerning sex education and knowledge about humans - she continued. - Health Education will appear in schools on September 1, 2025. […] It will be implemented in both primary schools and in the 1st and 2nd grades of secondary schools. In primary schools, it will cover grades IV-VIII. […] We decided on this broad inter-ministerial team to ensure that each component is adequately addressed. […] Experts will begin writing the curriculum and, together with ministry employees, prepare the entire change - she conveyed. - For Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government, the issue of young people and health issues are an absolute priority. That is why we are taking these actions, aware that they should have been taken long ago and aware that Polish youth simply need reliable knowledge. We will provide this knowledge: impartial, competent, thanks to excellent teachers - she concluded.

12:08

Nitras:

What We Are Presenting Today is Another Element of Our Offensive Against Childhood Obesity and Lack of Motor Skills
- What we are presenting today is another element of our cooperation. Cooperation that aims to end stressed, obese children in school, cooperation that will lead to us genuinely and realistically tackling this problem - said Sławomir Nitras at a press conference.

- The Minister of Education and I are already implementing two programs together – universal screenings, not for the purpose of surveillance, but to be aware of the state of motor skills among our youth and children. We are implementing the "Active School" program, which aims to encourage the active use of sports facilities in schools. This [the new subject 'Health Education' - ed.] is the third element of our - I think I can say - offensive in the fight against obesity and lack of motor skills - he continued.

12:19

Tusk:

Europe and its Member States Must Effectively Protect Their Territories and Control Their Borders to Prevent Migration Policy from Descending into Chaos and Lawlessness

- We will be sharing experiences, practical ones, concerning the effective protection of the border against illegal migration. Both countries have serious reasons to address the problem of illegal immigration. These problems differ due to geography and proximity, but we share a similar viewpoint with the Prime Minister and the Greek state. This boils down to one sentence: Europe and its Member States must effectively protect their territories and must effectively control their borders so that migration policy is not engulfed by chaos, inertia, and a lack of any control – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing with the Prime Minister of Greece.

13:00

Tusk:

We Are Closer to Decisions Enabling Greater Use of Frozen Russian Assets

- Conversations are ongoing. At the table where we, a group of seven leaders, sat, there was essentially agreement that a serious effort should be made to use frozen Russian assets, not just the interest, but the principal capital available to Western states, Russian capital amounting to 250-300 billion euros globally. More and more EU citizens, taxpayers, and this was dispelled at the table during this discussion - stated Donald Tusk at a press conference.

- We are getting closer to decisions that should, to a greater extent, if not entirely, enable the use of frozen Russian funds in world banks, and this would be just and very effective - he added.

13:00

Trzaskowski:

It's Crucial to End the Era of Populism for Normal Cooperation Between Local Government and Government
- I am very happy to be back in Rzeszów and to support Konrad Fijołek, just as we did over 2 years ago when we all supported Konrad. That was the moment when we regained hope that we could win local elections. It is incredibly important to end the era of populism, so that normal cooperation between local government and the government is possible; this is something we care deeply about. In the last 8 years, virtually all decisions were politicized; the PiS government distributed money only to those who cooperated with them. Currently, we have a completely different situation, namely, we are fighting to ensure that local government finances are completely independent of government decisions – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Rzeszów. - One of the biggest advantages of recent months, recent weeks, is that enormous funds from the European Union have finally been unblocked, 600 billion PLN from the KPO (National Reconstruction Plan), as well as from the regular EU budget, and they will serve investments such as those here, road investments which are very much needed in Rzeszów. Only good local government officials, those with vast experience, and Konrad Fijołek has such experience, will be able to utilize these funds, utilize them so that their cities can develop – he continued.

13:15

Trzaskowski:

Poland Has Done Everything Expected of It and Should Not Be Subject to Relocation Mechanism
- We have been opposed to mandatory relocation all along, and today even the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, said that he absolutely understands Prime Minister Donald Tusk's arguments, because we have done our part regarding solidarity in migration matters by accepting millions of Ukrainians. Therefore, for me, it is obvious that Poland has done everything that was expected of us and simply should not be covered by this mechanism – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Rzeszów.

13:42

Czarzasty on Abortion Bills: These Decisions and Discussions Do Not Threaten the Coalition in Any Way; The Coalition is Functioning Well
- Fortunately, these decisions and discussions do not threaten the coalition, the continuation of the coalition, or the functioning of the coalition in any way, because the coalition is functioning smoothly, well, and is communicating its work results very brilliantly. [Even if PSL does not vote for the abortion bills?] It does not threaten – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

14:24

Sejm Approves Draft Amendment to the KRS Act

The Sejm has adopted the draft amendment to the Act on the National Council of the Judiciary – the government of Donald Tusk's proposal will now proceed to further work in the Senate. 244 MPs voted 'for' the draft, while 199 voted against. In short, the amendment reverses the changes introduced by PiS. The 15 judges who are members of the KRS will no longer be appointed by the Sejm; instead, the judicial part of the Council will be elected by all judges through direct, secret ballot elections.

14:43

All Abortion Law Bills Referred to Committee

Two bills from Lewica, along with proposals from Trzecia Droga and Civic Coalition (KO) concerning abortion law, have been sent for further deliberation in a parliamentary committee. The coalition voted relatively in agreement on this matter – although the PSL club was divided on the Lewica and KO proposals.

A split also occurred within the PiS club during the vote on the Trzecia Droga proposal – 4 parliamentarians voted against its rejection, and 21 abstained.

By a decision of the Sejm, an Extraordinary Committee will be established to consider the bills concerning the right to terminate a pregnancy.

15:28

Sejm on the Establishment of an Extraordinary Committee on Abortion Laws. Żukowska: This is a historic day when women can rejoice.
- This is a historic day, a day when for the first time in 30 years, three draft laws liberalizing the right to abortion, and one decriminalizing it, have passed to the second reading with a parliamentary majority. I am very happy about this and express my hope that the establishment of this extraordinary committee to consider all these drafts will be an opportunity for discussion with civil society, with women. A public hearing will be organized on this matter, and we will be able to take another step forward - said Anna Maria Żukowska in the Sejm. - This is truly a day when women can rejoice, a day when there is a chance to finally talk about the fullness of their rights, the fullness of reproductive rights. As the ruling coalition, we have shown that we can organize this debate in such a way that we succeed in voting through the draft laws and establishing the committee - she continued.

15:33

Kaczyński to Gomoła: Your youth doesn't excuse you for spouting Goebbelsian propaganda about 'ordered verdicts'

- Very briefly, I am addressing this young MP, Gomoła, I believe that is his name. Well, the fact that you are young does not, however, excuse you for spouting this kind of nonsense about ordered verdicts and similar tales of very base, disgusting, Goebbelsian propaganda - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in the Sejm.

- Mr. MP, Goebbelsian propaganda ended at the end of December when we cut off the broadcast of that cesspool in TVP, and that was the end of Goebbelsian propaganda - replied Adam Gomoła.

15:51

Tusk:

The bare minimum for the coalition was not to quarrel over abortion. This vote shows we are heading in the right direction.
The bare minimum for the government coalition was not to quarrel over the issue of abortion. We all knew, or rather I knew well during the campaign, that this is not a topic that would facilitate our cooperation, because there are different views, and it was known from the beginning. The fact that we managed to cultivate this conviction, which for me is fundamental, that this is a matter requiring a very serious discussion – I will continually urge everyone towards this – this vote shows that we are certainly heading in the right direction, and to finally acknowledge that we are not really talking about medicine, we are talking about human rights and the fundamental rights of women – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in an interview with journalists in the Sejm. - We probably still have a difficult road ahead of us, but I believe that the outcome will be a legal change that will give Polish women the feeling that they are not objects of attack, contempt, or disregard, but rather that they truly become subjects who decide for themselves – he continued.

15:56

Kotula:

I Would Like Primarily to Thank My Colleagues from the Coalition for their Wisdom and Reason
- Today, I would primarily like to thank my colleagues from the October 15th coalition for their wisdom and reason. For several days, we have been appealing for the slogan "enough quarreling, let's move forward" to be taken literally - said Katarzyna Kotula at a press conference.

15:58

Morawiecki:

I Accidentally Voted Against Further Work on the Abortion Compromise Bill

- I accidentally voted against further work on the bill concerning the abortion compromise. In line with my previous declarations, I am a proponent of further work on this project – Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter.

16:01

Żukowska:

Questions about the President's potential signature don't seem to arise for other laws the president can also veto
- Questions about the president's potential signature somehow don't appear in the case of other [non-abortion-related] laws, which the president can also potentially veto [...] yet we are doing it, we are delivering. As a ruling coalition, we are capable of doing this, we are fulfilling our election promises - said Anna Maria Żukowska at a press conference.

16:02

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

The Third Way's abortion bill received the most support and is the only one with a chance to pass
- What's pleasing is that the bill from the PSL, the Third Way, Poland 2050, received the most support and is, in fact, the only one with a chance to pass - Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz told journalists in the Sejm. - 21 MPs from PiS abstained, some even supported the discussion of our bill [...]. This shows that this bill is capable of gathering the most support in this Sejm, and if part of PiS votes for it, including President Kaczyński, it means it could also gain the president's acceptance - he continued.

16:31

Hołownia:

It was a good decision for the abortion debate to take place after the local government elections

- Ladies and gentlemen, it was a good decision. I am referring to the decision to have this debate on a matter so important to so many Polish women on April 11th, after the local government elections. We all remember the atmosphere in the Sejm, I remember it well, a month ago, and this is further proof that when you have a temperature of 39.9 degrees Celsius, as it was in this chamber then, you do not make important decisions. You wait until you have a regular 37 degrees, and that 37 was visible yesterday. Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, we had the calmest, most substantive, and most dignified debate on abortion that this Sejm has seen in the last 30 years – stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

16:32

Hołownia:

The Only Path to Change the Status Quo is a Referendum, There's No Other Way and We Will Repeat This

- The only path to change the existing state of affairs is a referendum, there is no other way and we will repeat this. We will be observing now, members of our party, our caucus will participate in the work of this commission, they will be MPs who have already spoken on this matter. I hope that the commission will be able to prepare its report within a short time, measured in months, small months – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

18:24

Trzaskowski:

We Need Huge Mobilization in This Final Stretch
- These elections are truly incredibly important. Ladies and gentlemen, it so happens that in very many places in Poland, PiS candidates are hiding their party affiliation, pretending to be suddenly positive. They pretend to suddenly love local self-government, when in reality, we all remember what they did in recent years. How they took money from Warsaw, how they took money from Krakow, how they took money from Wieliczka, because they only provided support to those who voted for PiS, who thought exactly the same way. And that is why, ladies and gentlemen, this huge mobilization is needed in this final stretch – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Wieliczka. - First and foremost, I urge you to go to the local government elections; they are truly the most important. We have taken the first step, we have regained democracy, we are strengthening the rule of law, but if you want decisions to be made closest to the citizens, vote for these credible and proven local government officials – he continued.

19:46

Sawicki on Sejm's Decision Regarding Abortion Bills: Nothing to Celebrate. All Four Drafts Are Unconstitutional
- There is nothing to celebrate. This is the Constitution of the Republic, the constitution in force since 1997. Article 38 of this constitution clearly states that the Republic of Poland ensures the protection of life, of every life. Given that four draft laws were submitted to the Sejm, all of them are unconstitutional in light of this constitution - said Marek Sawicki in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń". - What's more, the draft submitted by my party, Third Way, PSL, was subject to review by the Constitutional Tribunal, or perhaps not exactly this draft, but the issue of the concept of protection of life. And the Constitutional Tribunal – not the one demolished by PiS – but the previous one, ruled at least twice that the right to life encompasses every life, from beginning to end, from conception to death - he continued.

19:57

Dziemianowicz-Bąk:

It's Not About Sawicki Having to Terminate a Pregnancy. If Someone Doesn't Want To, They Should Never Be Forced.
- This is of course a question for Mr. Sawicki [whether he would agree to the decriminalization of aiding an abortion]; it's not about Marek Sawicki having to, I don't know, terminate a pregnancy, it's not about Marek Sawicki having to violate his conscience [...]. If someone does not want to terminate a pregnancy, they should never be forced to do so, and they will never be forced by any politician, male or female, from The Left. But symmetrically, analogously, if someone wants to decide differently about their pregnancy, about their life, they should also have the right to do so - said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach".

20:01

Dziemianowicz-Bąk:

Duda has repeatedly stated he opposes abortion liberalization, but let's be honest, he's already packing his bags
- Of course, he [Andrzej Duda] has repeatedly said that he is against the liberalization of abortion, but Andrzej Duda, and let's finally say it honestly, is already packing his bags. Andrzej Duda's presidency is coming to an end. The question we should be asking today [...] is who will be the master of the palace after Andrzej Duda and who might decide on signing future bills concerning women's rights - said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk on TVN24.

20:09

Sawicki:

Abortion is not part of any coalition agreement. In my opinion, the right to life transcends party and political debate.
- Firstly: as Marshal Hołownia said, abortion is not part of any coalition agreement. Secondly: the right to life, of every life, is in my opinion beyond party and political discussion - said Marek Sawicki in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - I expected that in this term we would discuss how to support women, men, single mothers, single fathers, families, including large families, in joyful parenthood. Instead, we are dedicating more time to the issue of how to get rid of already conceived life - he continued.

Dziemianowicz-Bąk:

It's High Time for Female Leaders to Join the So-Called 'Three Tenors'
- It's high time for female leaders to at least join the ranks of the so-called 'three tenors'. We have wonderful women, Katarzyna Kotula, Minister for Equality, Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, Deputy Minister of Culture, excellent MPs, Anna Maria Żukowska, who heads the parliamentary club, it's hard not to call her a leader - said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk on TVN24. - All these women, all my colleagues have something to say, they are competent, and of course, they should and do engage in setting the party's direction. Should this be more visible to the average voter? Yes - she continued.

Sienkiewicz on TVP: I Had a Task to Fulfill and I Fulfilled It

- I had a task to fulfill and I fulfilled it. Moreover, I did so with a sense of absolute righteousness, that is, to stop this evil, this obscenity that was pouring out, this hatred that was dividing Poles, and in the conviction that the path chosen, contrary to these shouts about coups d'état and illegal actions, was legal - stated Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz on TVP Info.

Sienkiewicz:

PiS remains astonished it lost power

- This is not a matter of surprise. PiS remains astonished that it lost power at all and is furious that it lost the fundamental tool of their politics in Poland, and that fundamental tool was the spread of hatred through the media, which were formerly public. That was PiS's strength, and of course, the target state will last for a very long time - stated Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz on TVP Info.

Sienkiewicz:

Wrzosek Shouldn't Be Searched, She Should Receive the Order of the White Eagle. I Am Convinced Such a Day Will Come
Thanks to the courage of Prosecutor Wrzosek, at a time when PiS was still in power, the seizure of public media under PiS's rule was permanently prevented. In my opinion, Prosecutor Wrzosek should not have been subjected to searches; instead, she should, and I am certain this will happen one day, receive the [order of the] White Eagle. And I am convinced that such a day will come – stated Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz on TVP Info.
