Ziobro on House Search: The Manner in Which These Actions Were Carried Out Deprived Me of Basic Rights Every Polish Citizen is Entitled To

- I fully uphold the accusations I formulated in the evening hours, when meeting with you, that the manner in which these actions were carried out deprived me of the basic rights that every Polish citizen is entitled to, namely the ability to familiarize myself with the decision concerning the search, the possibility of handing over items if I possessed any, the possibility of selecting individuals I trust to participate in the search proceedings, and finally, the guarantee of carrying out the actions without destroying the building, the ruin of the home where I reside and every Pole resides, as these conditions are guaranteed by the Code of Criminal Procedure - stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press briefing.

- Unfortunately, these actions were carried out in a bandit-like manner, destroying the door frames and a section of my house's wall, which you can probably easily capture, over the fence. It could have been done normally, by entering through the door, because my friend living nearby had a key, and I am certain that at my request, he would have used that key to facilitate the proceedings - he continued.

- The course of these unfounded actions, the search and securing of items, has only strengthened my conviction that the accusations I made at the outset are accurate, because it was a typical dragnet search. They were looking for everything, just in case they found some documents, items, or anything else that could later be the subject of media games and attacks against me as a politician, and that's what this is about. I have nothing to do with any actions that would justify conducting such proceedings against me - Ziobro emphasized.

07:37

Ziobro:

Documents like United Right's media analysis were secured. This is the best proof of what this is about

- The fact that, for example, those conducting the search secured documents such as the United Right's media analysis, a document I once received in my parliamentary mailbox, as a Member of Parliament, despite my protests that it had nothing to do with the Fund of Justice, such a document was nevertheless secured, is the best proof of what this is about - stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press briefing.

08:50

Nitras:

The number of people harmed by Ziobro deprives him of the right to complain
- When my colleagues were raided, when their phones were seized, when their computers were seized, and 7 years have passed and neither they nor I have been charged with anything, nobody called me either, and the number of people who were harmed, for instance, I'll mention Mr. Kwaśniak, probably the most outrageous case, by Mr. Ziobro deprives him of the right to complain - said Sławomir Nitras in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the "Gość Radia ZET" program. - When I see Mr. Ziobro, Mr. Matecki, Mr. Jaki, crying about their civil rights being violated, I think they should remember all those they wrongly accused, who suffered for years, who were never apologized to, and who were unable to prove their guilt - he continued.

08:53

Kaczyński:

Investigative Committees Show All Their Years of Stories Were Fairy Tales. Their Election Promises Were Also Fairy Tales

– What is happening is, firstly, completely illegal. This is legally, or rather pseudo-legally, decisive, carried out by people who do not have the authority to do so. I'm talking about the situation in the prosecutor's office. The prosecutor's office as a state institution has practically ceased to function, because it must have certain legal foundations. It's not so much undermined as simply rejected. Regardless of anything else, the prosecutor's office and courts must operate based on law. That's the first matter, and secondly, it's not hard to imagine why this was undertaken. Investigative committees show that there was simply nothing, that everything they have been saying for years are fairy tales. And on the other hand, I believe we have managed to show something that is an obvious truth, which is that election promises are also fairy tales – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

08:54

Kaczyński:

In better times, a new Constitution will need to be enacted, and if there isn't a 2/3 majority, another majority will have to be chosen.

- Today, we simply have to define [the situation] as a state in which the Constitution has ceased to be in force in Poland, because it is the foundation of the legal system, with all its consequences, including the consequence that in the future, in better times, a new Constitution will need to be enacted, and if there isn't a 2/3 majority, another majority will have to be chosen, simply because a state cannot function without a Constitution - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on Radio Plus.

08:54

Kaczyński:

I Believe I'll Be Free, But I'm Not So Sure About Others Not From My Party
I've been hearing shouts like [you'll be jailed] in many different places for years, and so far, I've been free. I believe I will be, but as for others, not from my party, I'm not so sure if they will certainly spend the rest of their lives free, though this is a matter of years. [I'm talking about] the consequences of what is happening right now – stated Jarosław Kaczyński on Radio Plus.

08:55

Kaczyński:

Tusk Qualifies for a Severe Criminal Code Article – 10 Years to Life Imprisonment

- This is an obvious action that corresponds, as they say, to the provisions of Article 127 of the Penal Code concerning the forceful alteration of the state system. In my conviction, [Donald Tusk] clearly qualifies for this, and it is indeed a very severe article, carrying a penalty of 10 years to life imprisonment. [My words] apply to everyone participating in this, but evidently the leader, the person who is inspiring it, is Donald Tusk – stated Jarosław Kaczyński on Radio Plus.

08:57

Kaczyński:

No Talk of Excluding Sovereign Poland

- There is no such topic [of excluding Sovereign Poland from the United Right] - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on Radio Plus.

08:57

Nitras:

Jaki and Ziobro will face accusations, certainly their closest associates, in my opinion
- Patryk Jaki, Zbigniew Ziobro, in my opinion, will face accusations in this matter, certainly their closest associates who made formal decisions. It is very characteristic that Mr. Ziobro appeared yesterday to say that he did not make any decisions, because it was his associates who made the decisions – Sławomir Nitras said on Radio ZET. - I don't believe Mr. Ziobro [that no one contacted him before the search], I don't believe Mr. Jaki [that the Internal Security Agency was alone in Ziobro's house for about 2 hours], I trust the prosecution – he continued.

08:57

Kaczyński:

I Don't Know If I'll Be Elected Party Leader, But I Will Run. To Some Extent, Unity Has Been Preserved Thanks to Me

- I've come to the conclusion that at this moment, the matter of electing a new party leader could be, from the perspective of the unity I've spoken about, let's say problematic, that there is such a risk, so I will run. However, one must agree to run. I think there will be those who sign, because one also needs a sufficient number of signatures to be a candidate. And whether I will be elected - of course, I don't know that, but I will run, because I believe that to some extent, the unity of the party has been preserved thanks to me and the unification of the right has also come about - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on Radio Plus.

08:58

Błaszczak on Raid of Ziobro's Home: These are Forceful Methods. Similar Ones Were Used When Taking Over the Prosecutor's Office and Public Media
- These are forceful methods that were used when taking over public media. I am here at Polish Radio out of respect for the listeners and for the editor, but we do not accept this kind of method [...]. Similar methods were used when taking over the prosecutor's office - said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Agnieszka Drążkiewicz on "Sygnały dnia" on PR1. - The prosecutor who signed the motion for the search [of Zbigniew Ziobro's home] is a prosecutor appointed unlawfully. Secondly, methods were used as if dealing with criminals, for example, terrorists, or criminals from a drug gang - he continued.

09:05

Nitras on Justice Fund Expenditures: "Obvious Theft, They Treated Public Money as Private"
- If Mr. Matecki received 20 million PLN and used it to organize online hate campaigns, buy troll farms, and purchase his own billboards used in election campaigns, if Mr. Warchoł directly financed his presidential election campaign in Rzeszów from this [Justice] Fund, which is a state fund, it would be like me today taking money from another fund, for example, one dedicated to the development of physical culture, and giving it to colleagues for their campaigns or running my own. You would call that theft, wouldn't you? It is obvious theft; they treated public money as their private property, and today they are facing punishment for it, and rightly so - said Sławomir Nitras on Radio ZET.

09:05

Błaszczak:

Tusk Orchestrates a Spectacle, Causing Chaos and Actions Revealing Barbarians Among Us
- In the election campaign and even after the elections, Donald Tusk spoke of 100 concrete actions. What has come of these 100 concrete actions? Is there the 60,000 PLN tax-free allowance? Is there voluntary ZUS [Social Insurance Institution]? Are dormitories for one zloty available for students? Or is the 'grandma's benefit' already in place, or for example, has the health contribution been changed? - said Mariusz Błaszczak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1. - Donald Tusk vowed that he would implement 100 concrete actions in 100 days. Meanwhile, he is orchestrating a spectacle, causing chaos, causing actions that show we are dealing with barbarians - he stated.

09:12

Leszczyna:

If Prosecutors and ABW Enter 25 Locations Simultaneously in Poland, it Means We are Dealing with Large-Scale Corruption
If prosecutors and the Internal Security Agency (ABW) enter 25 locations simultaneously in Poland, it means we are dealing with large-scale corruption, and this was the necessary course of action. Moreover, I can say that there was no other way. The difference between us and PiS is that we do not break the law, we do not discuss what happened at the Council of Ministers, and Minister Bodnar, I assure you, told us nothing that Prosecutor Nowak did not already say here in this studio – stated Izabela Leszczyna in the program "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

09:12

Leszczyna:

I Stand By This New Shape of the Health Contribution

- I appeared together with the Minister of Finance at a press conference, and of course, I stand by this new shape of the health contribution. In reality, I am the one who must push this bill through, because the health contribution is part of the law on benefits financed from public funds. […]. As a constitutional minister, and also as someone who was once on the finance committee and a deputy minister of finance, I want the lowest possible burdens, the lowest possible public dues, but at the same time, I want the highest quality public services, especially healthcare – said Izabela Leszczyna on TVN24.

09:13

Leszczyna on the 'morning-after' pill: The President speaks of a hormonal bomb, but above all, he was misled

- In my opinion, the President was primarily misled. The President talks about some hormonal bomb and some consequences. It's not me who invented the fact that this ulipristal acetate pill, as an active substance, is available in 25 EU countries without a prescription, without any restrictions, only in Ireland for those aged 16 and over – stated Izabela Leszczyna on TVN24.

09:13

Kaczyński:

I Will Certainly Not Wage War with President Duda, Regardless of His Intentions

- For even four years. I have adopted a principle that when it comes to the President, I will say nothing. I believe he is a man who won elections twice with the support of our political camp. Regardless of differences, that is the most important thing - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on the program 'Sedno Sprawy' on Radio Plus.

- It is a matter of the President's own decision what he will want politically (...) I will certainly not wage war with President Duda, regardless of what he wants to do, unless, of course, he wants to completely change his political stance, but I do not believe that - he added.

09:13

Nitras:

Fuel Prices Should Be Determined by the Market, Not Artificially Lowered or Raised by Tusk
- Donald Tusk said during the campaign that if it weren't for Obajtek inflating the price, then fuel would be 5 PLN. Fuel prices should be determined by the market, and it's not the case that Tusk is artificially lowering or artificially raising them today because he has such a need. Under PiS, it was such that when Kaczyński needed it, Obajtek raised it by a zloty, when Kaczyński needed it, Obajtek lowered it by a zloty, the effect was that there was no fuel at the stations. Today, it's the market, the market decides - Sławomir Nitras said on Radio ZET.

09:17

Kaczyński:

We Should Have a Presidential Candidate Capable of Not Just Reaching the Second Round, but Also Having a Strong Chance to Win

- This is actually a question directed at Donald Tusk, because if he wanted to run for president, I don't think anyone in the camp he leads would be able to effectively oppose it. What his plans are, I simply don't know. I believe we should have a candidate who is not only capable of reaching the second round, which would be no trouble, but also has a strong chance of winning in that second round, and this is a matter that requires serious consideration - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on the program "Sedno sprawy" on Radio Plus.

09:19

State Treasury Companies Council to Disregard MBA Diplomas from Collegium Humanum
- The Council for State Treasury Companies and State Legal Persons will not recognize MBA diplomas obtained at Collegium Humanum in the process of evaluating candidates for supervisory boards - the Government Information Centre announced in a statement.

- The Council is an independent advisory body operating under the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Its tasks include issuing opinions on individuals who wish to serve on supervisory boards and management bodies of State Treasury companies. Council members primarily assess whether a candidate possesses the knowledge, experience, and skills required to perform the function of a supervisory body member - the statement further reads.

10:30

Cichocki:

Search Underway by Services in MP Woś's Hotel Room

- Activities are currently underway by the services in the parliamentary hotel, in the room of MP Michał Woś. This is a search being conducted in the presence of the MP. I also wanted to say that the Marshal was informed about the necessity of carrying out these activities. He gave his consent, because the services have the right to do so within the scope of investigative activities conducted under the supervision of the prosecutor's office, but he set a condition that the MP should be present during this search. This was possible; these activities began this morning and are ongoing, proceeding calmly, and will likely conclude by noon – stated Jacek Cichocki at a press briefing in the Sejm.

12:30

Duda on Prosecutor's Office Actions Regarding the Justice Fund: Lawlessness Will Be Punished Sooner or Later

- I think that lawlessness will be punished sooner or later, so wherever lawlessness occurs, those who perpetrate lawlessness must reckon with legal consequences, which will happen sooner or later. I assume, common sense tells me so, that if someone from the services or the prosecutor's office allows themselves such actions against MPs, people who have held very important public functions for years, then I assume they have grounds for it and society will be able to see these grounds, which in their opinion justify it, because if not, I think criminal responsibility is inevitable - stated President Andrzej Duda during a press statement.

12:55

Trzaskowski:

Warsaw Has Always Played with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, in Difficult Times and Now in Better Times, and We Will Always Play
- Warsaw has always played with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP), in difficult times and now in these better times, and we will always play. I am very proud of this, big thanks to the entire team, because you are truly doing a brilliant job. Thanks also on behalf of all Warsaw hospitals, because your equipment is everywhere and very often saves lives, and Warsaw on this day is truly sensational, smiling, active, it's probably hard to imagine a better showcase for the capital, but above all for the women and men of Warsaw, because everyone plays with WOŚP and will always play with WOŚP – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the summary of the WOŚP finale.

13:37

Joński and Szczerba Submit Request to National Electoral Commission Regarding PiS Election Campaign Funding from the Justice Fund
- Michał Szczerba and I are submitting a request to the National Electoral Commission (PKW) to examine whether the PiS election campaign was financed with money from the Justice Fund. These millions will be accounted for! Because Poles expect – that theft will be brought to justice – Dariusz Joński wrote on social media.

14:50

Kierwiński:

MSWiA to File Two More Reports with the Prosecutor's Office. One of Them Will Concern Wąsik
- In connection with the conducted audit, I wanted to inform you that the Ministry of Interior and Administration will file two more reports with the prosecutor's office regarding events that took place at the Police Headquarters. One of these reports will concern the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Mr. Maciej Wąsik [...] the second, however, will concern one of the employees, the head of the personnel office, Mr. Siekierski, who, as it happened, as a disciplinary ombudsman, supervised the clarification processes for both the Black Hawk issue and the grenade launcher issue - said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference. - According to the auditors and also lawyers cooperating with the ministry, the matter is clear: these actions were taken in order to sweep the matter under the rug, so that those responsible for the decision-making process and for the perpetration of these events would not face any, absolutely no consequences - he continued.

14:53

Kierwiński:

Wąsik's Role is Obvious, He Urged the Police Chief to Misuse the Black Hawk Just Before the Event
- It's not the case that a false image has been created, that a police Black Hawk has been flying from one event to another over recent years. This was the first instance in three years where a police Black Hawk was used in this manner [...]. In the control results, beyond any doubt, the controllers heard from officers who agreed to the Black Hawk's flight that the order was given orally by the former Police Commander-in-Chief, and during the conducted activities, the controllers learned that Commander Szymczyk even told the individuals who were to sign the relevant requests, incidentally without proper authorization, that he had to report this or inform Minister Wąsik about the situation - said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference. - Mr. Wąsik's role in this matter is clear and obvious, meaning, just before the event, contrary to the initial opinion of the Police Headquarters, he manually persuaded and urged the Police Commander-in-Chief to use the Black Hawk not for its intended purpose - he continued.

15:03

Kierwiński:

Black Hawk Pilot Received Bonuses and Allowances Instead of Disciplinary Action
- Instead of swiftly initiating disciplinary proceedings against the pilot, the individuals who made these decisions implemented a procedure that effectively [...] aimed to ensure that no one would face consequences. What leads to this conclusion? The pilot who flew that Black Hawk [...] instead of receiving disciplinary action [...] received bonuses [...] he received a motivational allowance in September [...] he received a monetary bonus in October, he received a monetary bonus in November, and finally, his functional allowance was increased in such a way that it raises his pension, as he had applied for such a pension - stated Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference. - Had it not been for the change of government, what was happening at the Police Headquarters would have resulted in no one being punished for this incident, no disciplinary proceedings would have even been initiated against anyone, and the person who piloted that Black Hawk would have retired with an increased pension - he continued.

16:45

Prosecutor Nowak on the Justice Fund: 'This case concerns politicians, and in that sense, it lives its own political life'
- I will start by answering one question that has been circulating essentially since yesterday, namely, whether this case is of a political nature, and I will answer this question in two ways. The case, at least at the current moment, is not politically motivated. I believe that any prosecutor who had this kind of evidence would bring these charges, would conduct these searches; these are actions that seem obvious with this material. At most, one can say that it was politically motivated in that earlier, the case was not pursued diligently. However, this case concerns politicians, and in that sense, it lives its own political life – stated prosecutor Przemysław Nowak at a press conference.

16:47

Prosecutor Nowak: Charges Filed Against Five Individuals in Justice Fund Case
- The case is at a relatively early stage, it has been ongoing for several weeks, yet we have managed to gather extensive evidence. The actions we took yesterday and today have also allowed us to supplement this material with numerous documents, as well as data carriers. These will be analyzed further. However, the material we already have has allowed us to file charges against five individuals. The prosecutor announced these charges to these individuals yesterday and today. These are four officials from the Ministry of Justice from the Justice Fund Department and one representative of the beneficiary, the "Profeto" foundation – prosecutor Przemysław Nowak said at a press conference.

16:53

Prosecutor Nowak: Over PLN 66 Million Paid from the Justice Fund to an Entity Not Meeting Requirements
- In general terms, three out of these four officials, including the Director of the Justice Fund Department of the Ministry of Justice, the former director, as well as two specialists who were members of the competition committee, have been charged in connection with facilitating the payment of funds exceeding PLN 66 million to an entity that did not meet the formal or substantive requirements to receive this money. They acted jointly and in agreement with Michał O., who represented this entity – stated prosecutor Przemysław Nowak at a press conference.

18:07

Leszczyna:

I Was Deceived by the Deputy Minister of Justice, Who Failed to Disclose Pegasus Funding from the Justice Fund at the Committee Hearing

- I am surprised that some people are surprised by such a scandalous matter as spending over PLN 280 million without any procedure, and we have information and NIK (Supreme Audit Office) reports on this matter. I, as a Member of Parliament and a member of the finance committee, was also deceived by the Deputy Minister of Justice, who came and said, or rather, *did not* say, that Pegasus would be financed from the FS (Justice Fund). Yes, [I am talking about Michał Woś] and he must answer for all of this - stated Izabela Leszczyna on RMF FM.

18:11

Leszczyna on the "morning-after" pill: I don't understand the president, I don't know why he's not listening to experts

- I have my own take on it, but I'll repeat it once more – I completely don't understand Mr. President [Duda], I don't know why the president isn't listening to experts, specialists, doctors, everyone who says this pill is safe emergency contraception – stated Izabela Leszczyna on RMF FM.

18:12

Leszczyna:

'Morning-After' Pill to be Available with Pharmaceutical Prescription

- We have prepared a regulation, I am talking with pharmacists and the pharmaceutical chamber. This pill will be available with a pharmaceutical prescription - stated Izabela Leszczyna on RMF FM.

20:02

Tusk:

The Point is for the Prosecutor's Office to Deal with Dishonest Politicians. Not Long Ago, it Was the Opposite

- The point is for the prosecutor's office to deal with dishonest politicians. Not long ago, it was the opposite - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Twitter.

20:12

Trzaskowski at Debate: I Deny, There Are No Waiting Lists in Warsaw's Nurseries or Kindergartens, Fewer and Fewer Schools Have a Two-Shift Problem
- My children went through this ordeal in public schools, which PiS inflicted upon us. Overloaded curricula, total chaos, and a concentration of age cohorts. Of course, we managed as best we could, and I deny that there are waiting lists in Warsaw's nurseries or kindergartens. Indeed, we sometimes have a problem with two-shift schooling, but fewer and fewer schools have this issue. We have built 15 schools, 26 nurseries, and are currently building additional schools where we face problems. Above all, we care for our teachers, as we subsidize their salaries by an average of PLN 600. This is because we ensure they can spend time with students, and we pay for additional classes. We also equalize opportunities, which is why we propose free English lessons for preschoolers or free additional mathematics lessons in primary schools. Education is the largest item in our budget, PLN 8 billion, and it is our top priority - said Rafał Trzaskowski during the Warsaw debate on TVP Info.

20:18

Bocheński:

Warsaw's Incumbent President Views Education as a Cost; For Me, It's an Investment
- The incumbent president views education as a cost, and even during his speech, he stated the amount it costs him. For me, education is an investment. Therefore, we will build new schools, kindergartens, and nurseries in newly developing housing estates where they are currently lacking. We will combat the issue of multiple shifts to eliminate everything that so exhausts children in Warsaw. We will introduce healthy, balanced meals at school, and most importantly, free ones. We will introduce dietetics lessons because our youth are struggling with the obesity epidemic, and we need education that can meet these challenges. We need free public transport for all Warsaw school students, including those who have been forgotten, namely high school and vocational school students – said Tobiasz Bocheński during the Warsaw debate on TVP Info.

20:21

Trzaskowski:

The Most Polluting Cars Must Be Restricted From Entering the City Center

- We need to restrict the entry of the most polluting cars into the city center, the oldest diesels, which produce the most nitrogen oxides, because they are simply deadly for the population. It's enough to talk to parents of children or people with asthma – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the Warsaw TVP debate.

- These regulations for Warsaw residents will only come into effect after 4 years. All institutions I know of speak about how harmful this is, and we simply want to ensure clean air – he continued.

20:26

Biejat:

We'll Remove Metro Gates. Where Buses Get Stuck in Traffic, We'll Create Bus Lanes
- Of course, the clean transport zone is meant to protect the health of Śródmieście residents. But that's not enough. We need to encourage residents to switch to public transport. And today, it's easy to be satisfied with public transport in Warsaw when you live close to the metro, but the further away from the metro line, the worse it gets. We will invest in the metro. It's great that there's a tram to Wilanów, but we need more. More trams to Gocław, a tram is waiting for Zielona Białołęka, for Modlińska. We will also do a simple, but important thing for Warsaw residents: we will remove the metro gates. Enough standing in unnecessary queues on the platform. Finally, we will invest in buses. Wherever a bus gets stuck in traffic today, we will create a bus lane - said Magdalena Biejat during the debate.

20:33

Korwin-Mikke to Trzaskowski: You are simply a communist, we need to say it clearly
- I personally watched your speech the day before yesterday in Buenos Aires, I saw your speech at a youth political event in Masuria, where you said that this will be done even faster when you come to power, that you will realize all of this, all this veganism, right. People need to eat meat, not to limit meat, like in communist times. You are simply a communist, we need to say it clearly. You want to rule people so that they eat what you want. And I want people to eat what they want - said Janusz Korwin-Mikke to Rafał Trzaskowski, using a retort during the debate.

20:37

Trzaskowski:

Nighttime Prohibition - I am not in favor of this solution, but I will listen to the voice of the residents

- Nighttime prohibition is not the most important problem here. I am not in favor of this solution, but I will listen to the voice of the residents. I am very sorry that Ms. Biejat is talking about this in this way, about this terrible tragedy that has happened in Warsaw - stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the Warsaw TVP debate.

20:40

Trzaskowski to Bocheński: You Failed to Prepare the Civil Defense Act

- It's evident that Tobiasz Bocheński has no idea what's happening in Warsaw, because we've been subsidizing hundreds of police patrols for a long time. We have our own security center with the best monitoring, which is why that murderer was caught. However, Mr. Tobiasz, it was you who failed to prepare the civil defense act - stated Rafał Trzaskowski during a Warsaw TVP debate.

20:44

Bocheński to Trzaskowski: It's not true that Warsaw has no evacuation plans, because as governor I approved them for you, and after several attempts, you managed to submit a competent document.
- It's not true that Warsaw has no evacuation plans or crisis management plans, because as the Mazovian governor, Mr. President, I approved them for you, and after several attempts, you managed to submit a competent document. Regarding the number of shelters, there are too few and they need to be built, and what you said, the review of shelters was carried out across Poland at the request of Minister Kamiński - said Tobiasz Bocheński to Rafał Trzaskowski, using a retort during the debate.

20:59

Trzaskowski:

In Warsaw hospitals, we introduced a clear rule - there is always a doctor on duty who will not invoke any conscience clause
- How can one say that this is a substitute topic – women's rights – after everything that has happened in Poland, after the medieval anti-abortion law that PiS introduced? This is an absolutely fundamental matter. It cannot be the case that prosecutors chase women, that doctors refuse to save lives. That is why, even when PiS was in power, we already introduced a clear rule in Warsaw hospitals, namely – a woman's life is most important. There is always a doctor on duty in a Warsaw hospital who will certainly not invoke any clause - said Rafał Trzaskowski during a Warsaw debate on TVP Info.

21:01

Trzaskowski:

Okęcie + Expanded Modlin Would Be Absolutely Sufficient for Warsaw

- I am, of course, a supporter of Okęcie, because Okęcie is a huge asset for Warsaw; all studies confirm this. However, if we were to build CPK, it would mean the liquidation of Okęcie. Of course, over the last few years, PiS has paid hundreds of millions for people to guard the land. Only now has a real debate on this topic begun. I believe that Okęcie + expanded Modlin would be absolutely sufficient for Warsaw - stated Rafał Trzaskowski during a Warsaw debate on TVP.

21:03

Biejat on CPK: Warsaw Awaits Decisions, Ministry Promised an Audit and We Still Haven't Seen It, We Don't Know What to Expect from the Government
- Warsaw is constantly waiting for concrete decisions regarding the Central Communication Port (CPK). The Ministry promised us an audit of this project right from the beginning of their term, and we still haven't seen it. Consequently, it's difficult to say what decisions will be made concerning Okęcie (Warsaw Chopin Airport), because we don't know what to expect from the central government - said Magdalena Biejat during a debate. - The Mayor of Warsaw should never abdicate their influence on these decisions and on obtaining clear declarations about how this airport will be developed and what we can expect. Residents today fear that if Okęcie disappears, it will be replaced by another housing estate managed more by developers than by the city, from which it will be harder to leave except by car, stuck in perpetual traffic jams. We need to be sure that this land will go to the city if Okęcie disappears, that there will be an opportunity for it to serve the residents - she continued.

Grabiec:

We are dealing with a full circle. It's not just wasting public money, it's outright theft
I wish MP Ziobro a speedy recovery, that is beyond any discussion. However, there is no doubt that justice should function and affect everyone. It was Minister Ziobro himself who once said: the honest have nothing to fear, so if Minister Ziobro was an honest minister, if the accusations that have been formed over the years, or that are being made today by the prosecution regarding the functioning of such a system, diverting public funds and from a special fund intended for crime victims for party purposes, for colleagues [then there is nothing to fear]. […]. We are dealing with such a full circle, it's not just wasting public money, it's outright theft – stated Jan Grabiec on the program ,,Kropka nad i” on TVN24.

Grabiec:

Kaczyński Knew About at Least Some of the Allegations the Prosecution is Now Bringing, But Not to Such an Extent

- I think that President Kaczyński knew about at least some of the allegations that are currently the subject of the prosecution's investigation. We know Jarosław Kaczyński, his methods of exercising power, that he always looks for people who inform on each other, tell him about the abominations his associates commit, in order to know what leverage he has on whom. I think Jarosław Kaczyński had this knowledge, but I don't know if it was as far-reaching as the prosecutors suggest today, and I understand that he wanted to have leverage over Ziobro, but not necessarily use it. After all, he was a minister in his government, who was a deputy prime minister, his coalition partner, a member of his club, but I think today he will probably bear political responsibility – Jan Grabiec said on TVN24.

Grabiec:

There Will Be No General Mobilization

- There will be no general mobilization, there will be no mobilization at all, but rather the Polish army is systematically being expanded, the Territorial Defence Force is being expanded, and a professional civil defence is to be established. These are formations that exist in every country – stated Jan Grabiec on TVN24.

Bocheński to Trzaskowski: You Have Money in Your Budget Thanks to Economic Growth Constructed During the PiS Government
- Warsaw, when you became president, had a budget of over 14 billion PLN. After 8 years of the Law and Justice (PiS) government, it has a budget of 28 billion PLN, and you have money in your budget thanks to economic growth that was constructed during our government's tenure - said Tobiasz Bocheński to Rafał Trzaskowski during the debate.

Trzaskowski:

I was equally outraged, there's no place for haters. I will end my work with this gentleman

- I was equally outraged, and there's no place for haters. Of course, I am unable to control what someone writes after working hours, but we have had examples of previous governments which spent hundreds of millions or tens of millions from the Justice Fund, for example, on haters. Therefore, I will end my work with this gentleman because I try to maintain a certain moderation, and there is no place for such individuals - stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the Warsaw debate on TVP.

21:31

Trzaskowski:

Warsaw Must Be Open, Tolerant, and European

- Warsaw must be open and tolerant, because that's how it attracts talent to Poland from all over Europe. Warsaw must be European, because that's how it attracts money for fantastic investments. Warsaw sets trends, because no one has organized a free nursery program, for example, to truly help women and get them back into the labor market – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during a TVP Warsaw debate.

Biejat:

This Will Be a Green Warsaw, Developing Its Services and Caring for Its Employees
- Warsaw is a large, European city, a capital with a huge budget, and it has the chance to develop its full potential. As president, I want to ensure this. I want Warsaw to look towards the future, not the past, not towards previous disputes, and not to stand still. This will be a green Warsaw, a Warsaw that develops its services, which also cares for its employees so that they can provide us with the best possible education, culture, and good quality public transport – said Magdalena Biejat during the debate. - But this Warsaw that we will be building, I will not build it alone. I have a whole team of people working with me, with whom we jointly prepared the program, who today are running in the elections with me. This entire team of people who have experience as city councillors, district councillors, city employees, and social activists, we want to change Warsaw for the better today, so that it is a good place to live for all of you. So that life here is comfortable, safe, and so that one can look calmly towards the future – she continued.

Bocheński:

Warsaw Needs a Full-Time Mayor. After 18 Years of Civic Coalition Rule, We Have a Lot to Clean Up
- Warsaw needs novelty and freshness. Warsaw needs a full-time mayor and to be treated seriously, not as an addition to one's career. I want a city that is decongested, where renovations are carried out intelligently. I want a city where apartments are built, and long-term tenants can buy them. Where there are no queues for municipal housing, where the city is designed wisely, so that schools, kindergartens, and nurseries are built in newly developed housing estates - said Tobiasz Bocheński during the Warsaw debate on TVP. - I want a city where there is no ideological war with drivers. I want a city that requires investment and hard work every day. After 18 years of Civic Coalition rule, we have a lot to clean up: we have traffic jams, dirt, concrete sprawl, corruption in the city hall, chaos. On April 7, we must choose a mayor […] who is here, not just visits - he continued.

21:46

Wipler:

I Want Warsaw to Be the Best Place to Live. For That to Happen, We Need a President for at Least 10 Years, Not Just a Moment
- I would very much like a Warsaw where there are no politicians, no politics, which is not a place where hundreds of activists waiting to regain power in Poland live. I would like a Warsaw with the best secondary schools, the best primary schools in Poland, which will be the best place for doing business, while also relaxing and simply living. And for that to happen, we need a full-time president for 5, and preferably 10 years, not just a moment - said Przemysław Wipler during a Warsaw debate on TVP.
