This Week in Polish Politics: Tusk and Duda in the USA, Trzaskowski's Security-Focused Campaign, Kaczyński Before the Investigative Committee, RBN Session, Candidate Registration Deadline

The visit of the President and the Prime Minister to the USA – this is by far the most significant event of the coming week in politics, preceding a National Security Council meeting. The Pegasus investigative committee will question PiS Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, and Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign is set to revolve around security issues.

RBN Session. On Monday morning, a session of the National Security Council, convened by President Andrzej Duda, will take place at the Presidential Palace.

Tusk and Duda in the USA. In the coming week, Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Andrzej Duda will be visiting the USA, where on Tuesday, on the 25th anniversary of Poland's accession to NATO, they will meet with President Joe Biden. The Head of State will also meet with Senate majority and minority leaders, as well as the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Trzaskowski on Security. As we hear, on Monday, Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign team will conduct activities to increase supporter engagement in the campaign. The entire week of the Warsaw Mayor's re-election campaign is set to focus on the theme of security.

Candidate Registration Deadline. Thursday marks the deadline for submitting candidates for village mayors, town mayors, and city presidents in the local government elections to municipal election commissions.

Duda with Stoltenberg. On Thursday in Brussels, President Andrzej Duda will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Kaczyński Before the Investigative Committee. On Friday, the Pegasus investigative committee will question, among others, former Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński.
