– I think that PO politicians don't understand what's happening in Poland, and this example related to the election lawsuit shows that they are out of touch with reality. The fact that for many years, while governing the country, they paid no attention to this issue demonstrates that they are not prepared to take the helm and govern Poland again – stated Andrzej Śliwka in TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

– All decisions regarding potential further steps concerning actions against the Lukashenka regime must be made in consultation with our partners. – The opposition has a huge problem with the referendum. I don't understand why they don't want to agree to let Poles have their say on matters crucial to our future and the future of every Polish citizen. That's what referendums are for, and the narrative being peddled today, that it's supposedly going to be used in an election campaign by ZP [Law and Justice], is simply nonsense. We want to ask Poles, who have the right to express their opinion on these matters, about key issues, about what primarily concerns their future security – said Beata Szydło in the program "Salon Polityczny Trójki" on PR3. – And why do we also want to ask about this? Because previous governments: both Platforma [Civic Platform] and earlier SLD [Democratic Left Alliance] and PSL [Polish People's Party], implemented all of this, but not in the interest of Polish women and men, but against that interest – she stated. – One must also remember that Platforma agreed to accept any number of illegal immigrants into Poland. They were ready for it, and one can also cite the words of politicians here, so it is worth asking Poles about these crucial matters, and the decisions that will be made in the referendum will be and should be crucial for every subsequent government – she added.

– I do not agree that the situation was so dramatic that the [Civic Platform-Polish People's Party] government couldn't cope. Because that's why politicians are elected, to form a government and take responsibility for Poland, so they can manage in the most difficult situations. The best proof of this is the Law and Justice party, the United Right government, which, after all, coped excellently in the COVID crisis, and is currently coping excellently with the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. When everyone predicted that COVID would lead to a collapse of the labor market, today we have one of the lowest [unemployment] rates in Europe and we can say that Poland is indeed at the forefront – said Beata Szydło in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on the program "Salon Polityczny Trójki" on PR3. – We are talking about facts and discussing, and we want to discuss facts. We are showing reality as it was when the Civic Platform was in power. We must remind people of these facts because Civic Platform politicians are currently lying. It's amusing when Donald Tusk says that they intended to introduce 500+, that the project was almost ready in a drawer, they just didn't manage to. They are amusing when they lie and say they didn't raise the retirement age, when they did – she continued. – What kind of success is it that today we can say that during Tusk's time unemployment was 14.4% (...). What matters is talking about facts, and the facts were that during the Civic Platform's rule, unemployment was very high – she emphasized.

– The Platform [Civic Platform] had a philosophy where they wanted to focus solely on the development of large cities. Large urban centers, because they were completely uninterested in areas beyond them. There were entire counties that, during their rule, faced immense social problems, poverty, child poverty, a lack of opportunities for people to travel to larger centers to work, and also a lack of jobs. Our philosophy is different; we believe that everyone has equal opportunities for development and that everyone needs to be supported (...). It cannot be the case that only a few regions or a few urban centers in Poland are given the chance for development, while the rest are left to fend for themselves – said Beata Szydło in the program "Salon Polityczny Trójki" on PR3.

– These elections, which will take place on October 15th, will also be about this. These will be elections about whether Poland will be a stable country, where irresponsible politicians like Morawiecki will not ruin the economy, or whether economic dilettantes will continue to be at the helm. A Poland torn apart by party strife, a Poland divided into the Poland of this and the Poland of that, is a weak Poland. – Today you will hear about concrete ideas, about concrete plans, which we, the Third Way, Poland 2050, and the Polish People's Party, are putting on the table to strengthen Polish security […]. Firstly, we will propose the depoliticization of the army. Just as I often say, because it is something very close to my heart, that the state should be separated from the church, so too the uniform should be separated from the party […]. The management of the armed forces must be handed over to competent commanders, competent military personnel. Civilian control over the army must be maintained, but we must not allow situations where a deputy minister or minister de facto commands the army – said Szymon Hołownia during the Third Way congress “Security for Real!”. – Promotions must be a consequence of personnel policy, as is the case in other NATO countries, not a matter of discretionary whim. The Territorial Defence Force, which I have been calling for, and you probably have too for many years, should finally return to the normal command structure, and not be the private army of the Minister of National Defence – he continued. – There will be no strong, secure Poland without a strong Polish defence industry. It cannot be that the modernization process of the Polish army – which is essential, we have no doubt about that – benefits almost exclusively the governments of other countries: the United States, with all due respect to our wonderful ally, or Korea.
