In Płock, at 1:00 PM, the National Electoral Convention of the Polish People's Party (PSL) will take place, with the participation of Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Paweł Kukiz, and Elżbieta Bińczycka.

- The National Electoral Convention of PSL, which will approve the candidate lists and present the list leaders and all other candidates, will be held in Płock on August 17th, in one of the strongest districts for PSL. We are not going only as a party, we are going with our partners, with UED, with local government officials, non-governmental organizations, everyone who approaches PSL every day to form the PSL electoral committee - stated PSL President Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- Poland isn't doomed to the lesser evil. It will be possible to choose the greater good in these elections. To choose our party, our partners, all those with whom we are forming the PSL Electoral Committee, but a broader formula, under the slogan of the Polish Coalition. Poles are not doomed to choose between total opposition or total power – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- It is no secret that we held discussions with Civic Platform, Paweł Kukiz held discussions with Law and Justice regarding joint election starts. However, we did not choose the shortcut. True to our ideals, we are forging our own path, a more difficult, perhaps more winding one, but our own. We remain faithful to these ideals - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- We're going with clear, distinct slogans. We're aiming for greater citizen participation in governance, specifically ideas like a referendum day or the popular election of the Ombudsman. Giving everyone a chance to run in elections. This is what Paweł Kukiz brought to our movement, and we are grateful – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- We are moving forward with our program aimed at improving the lives of Poles. We want and will achieve the introduction of tax-free pensions, higher by PLN 400. Such a pension is simply deserved. I don't want to see elderly people, those experienced by age, in their dignified years, who have worked for 40-50 years, going to the pharmacy counter and having to turn away and leave with tears in their eyes because, with the pension they receive today, they simply cannot afford it. A tax-free pension means approximately an extra PLN 400 per month on average for every pensioner - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- This is not charity [Retirement without tax]. We will not be racing with these populist measures. There will be no "fives" or "sixes" here. We are not entering the competition with populists because this is not about taking from taxes and then distributing according to the government's whims. It's about leaving what retirees, pensioners, and people of venerable age have earned through 40-50 years of their work. This is no charity at all - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- Nobody will back down from 500+. We will strengthen this 500+, but we have to earn it, and to earn it, we have to let entrepreneurs and the self-employed survive. Not rob them. An entrepreneur cannot be treated by the authorities as someone who merely has to pay taxes, pay duties, or as a suspicious person. The vast majority of Polish entrepreneurs are honest, good citizens, and they contribute to social programs, and they need to be helped - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- ZUS must be voluntary. If you can afford to pay, you will pay. If you are struggling, you are unable, you need to support your family, your job, you will not pay ZUS. It will be your decision - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- There will be no billion for Kurski's TV. But there will be a billion for agricultural crop insurance and income stabilization - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- This is our national treasure. Whoever does not understand that food and access to the best quality food is a national treasure, simply lacks knowledge on the subject and is not worth entrusting with the affairs of good stewards - added the PSL leader.

- We will heal healthcare through cooperation, and I call upon all opposition and coalition parties to do so. All those running in the elections. - When I ran for the Sejm in 2015, I swore that I would never betray the citizens' postulates. That I would never betray the fight for the right of every citizen of the Republic of Poland to run individually for the Sejm. Not just party members, not just that 1% of people worthy of the Sejm, but all Poles. All Poles should have the right to run for the Sejm. I promised, I swore that I would do everything, by all methods, in every way, so that citizens could use the institution of a referendum. So that a deputy could be recalled during their term. So that corruption in all political parties could be ended. I swore that I would do everything to lower taxes, to free small entrepreneurs from this fiscalism, this oppression where a small entrepreneur is currently treated like a so-called kulak by the communists. I swore that I would not betray my postulates and I have kept my oath. As you said, Władek, we could have taken the easy road. You go with PO, I with PiS. We calmly enter the Sejm and it's as it was. But that's not the point. We must choose a new path. A path of the centre, a path of reconciliation. A path of true dialogue. Don't you have enough of these quarrels within families? Family comes over, it's the holidays, one for PiS, one for PO. I have no one to vote for. From today, you have someone to vote for - stated Paweł Kukiz at the PSL convention in Płock.

- I must say that I don't really understand when someone tells me they are defending democracy. Because democracy has never existed in Poland. Democracy has never been in Poland. Democracy is a system where citizens, at any moment and not just during elections, can say to a certain authority, "enough," sooner or later. The institution of a referendum is meant to serve this purpose. In Poland, it is enshrined in the Constitution, but in practice, it looks like this: first, you need to collect 500,000 signatures, and of course, it should be that way. But attention, after collecting 500,000 signatures, the authorities may, but are not obliged to, call a referendum - stated Paweł Kukiz at the PSL convention in Płock.

"So I have a question for Paweł Kukiz: where are those single-member constituencies? Ladies and gentlemen – I am an MP from the Sieradz constituency and I cannot run from Konin. I cannot betray you. What would I say to the people in Konin? In the Łódź Voivodeship, there is no agreement between Kukiz’15 and PSL. There have been no discussions. Nobody from Kukiz’15 is running in Łódź. PSL has 2 'number ones' out of 3, and PO has 1. So what kind of agreement is this? Members of the Kukiz’15 movement are outraged by the current situation, and there will be no consent from me for this, now or ever. I will not put my face to such an agreement."

- We're aiming for a double-digit result in the upcoming elections. We aim to be the decisive factor, and we will decide who will hold power in Poland. And the person who will hold power in Poland will be the one who works for the citizens, not one who lords over them - stated Paweł Kukiz at the PSL convention in Płock.
