At 9:00 AM, in front of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki will participate in the launch of an information campaign concerning the Rodzina 500+ program in its expanded form, now including the first child.

Subsequently, the Prime Minister will travel to the Pomeranian Voivodeship, where at 11:30 AM he will attend a ceremony for the signing of three agreements aimed at improving railway access to the ports of Gdańsk and Gdynia. At 12:50 PM, he is scheduled to participate in the opening session of the 2nd edition of the Development Vision Forum, and at 1:30 PM, he will attend the 35th anniversary celebrations of Fighting Solidarity, Trójmiasto Branch.

Mateusz Morawiecki will also be on a visit to Dresden today. The head of the Polish government will meet with the Prime Minister of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, at 5:10 PM, and with the President of the Bundestag, Wolfgang Schäuble, at 5:25 PM. Later, at 6:00 PM, the Prime Minister will participate in the opening of the European Forum for Research and Innovation.

President Andrzej Duda will visit Wielkopolska, where at 4:30 PM he will meet with residents of the Ostrów County, and at 7:00 PM, with residents of the Krotoszyn County.

Grzegorz Schetyna will also be visiting Wielkopolska. The leader of Civic Platform will meet with the Mayor of Bojanów, Maciej Dubiel, at 1:30 PM. A press conference with Schetyna, the Mayor of Poznań, Jacek Jaśkowiak, local government officials, and parliamentarians is scheduled for 1:45 PM.

At 2:00 PM in Gołaszyn, the opposition leader will meet with residents of Bojanów, local government officials, and MPs. The last scheduled event is a meeting of the Wielkopolska Regional Council of Civic Platform at 6:00 PM.

Also today, the ECJ will issue a ruling on the complaint filed by the European Commission against Poland regarding changes in the Supreme Court, which would have led to the dismissal of some judges, including its President, Małgorzata Gersdorf. The ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party ultimately withdrew from the so-called 'retirement purge' last year.

Brudziński:

Szydło Will Lead the Campaign With Me, She'll Be One of Its Faces

By a decision of the political committee, Beata Szydło will lead the campaign with me, she will be one of the faces, popular, recognizable faces in Poland for this campaign. Together with Mateusz Morawiecki, and other ministers, we are preparing for these elections – said Joachim Brudziński in an interview with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program “Jedziemy”.

07:44

Brudziński:

On the Dispute Between the Commissioner for Human Rights and the Police, I Stand with the Police

- In this matter, if one can use such a term – the dispute between the Commissioner for Human Rights and the police, I stand with the police, being aware of what the role of the Commissioner for Human Rights is – said Joachim Brudziński in a conversation with Michał Rachoń on TVP Info's program „Jedziemy”.

Siemoniak:

I'm Rooting for Every Pole with a Chance for a High Position in International Structures
I'm rooting for every Pole who would have a chance to hold a high position in international structures. I understand that the editor is referring to the information that Krzysztof Szczerski might be a candidate for the Deputy Secretary General of NATO. Of course, yes. He wouldn't be the first Pole; Adam Kobieracki held this position years ago. If Szczerski has a chance, I think it's worthwhile to have a Pole in the center of the alliance. I think there shouldn't be party divisions here. It's difficult for me to assess his actual chances - stated Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News' "Graffiti", when asked if he was rooting for Krzysztof Szczerski. - It's worth it, especially since these 3.5 years have been lean in this regard, for a Pole to be in a high position in some international organization, and NATO is crucial for us - emphasized the Civic Platform politician.

Bielan:

Agora's Acquisition of Radio Zet is an Example of a Repolonization Transaction. I Wish the Situation in Poland Resembled Germany or France, Where Foreign Capital Isn't Dominant in Any Media Sector

I consider the media sector to be at least as sensitive as the banking sector. An example of such a repolonization transaction was Agora's acquisition of Radio Zet. I wish the situation in Poland resembled the situation in Germany and France. That is, that foreign capital, if it exists, is not dominant in any media sector. The [employees] of Radio Zet speak excellent Polish because Poles work there. Poles also worked in banks, which until now were also in Western hands, and they spoke excellent Polish. We can mock it in this way. Did Germans suddenly stop working at Berlinerzeitung, perhaps the only regional newspaper that once fell into British hands? And yet, Gerhard Schröder worked very intensely in this direction so that British capital wouldn't feel too comfortable in Germany. In Germany, there is no British or American capital in regional media” - stated PiS MEP Adam Bielan in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on TOK FM Radio's "Poranek".

08:16

Siemoniak:

Bodnar One of the Best Commissioners for Human Rights in History

- The Commissioner for Human Rights exists to be a spokesperson, to be elected precisely to speak out according to the law and their own discretion. It seems to me that [Adam Bodnar] is one of the best Commissioners for Human Rights in history. I also have the opportunity to observe his work in areas that receive little media attention. We are discussing cases of harassment of female soldiers in the army, and here the Commissioner is helping. There is no big show, it's not medial at all. Where there are the weaker ones, where there are minorities, there a commissioner is needed, and an atmosphere where everyone thinks everyone in the state should say the same thing is fatal - stated Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:28

Dworczyk:

Information Campaign on 500+ Will Be Conducted in All Voivodeships

- This morning, Prime Minister Morawiecki will initiate an [information campaign regarding the expansion of the 500+ program], which will be conducted in all voivodeships. We will inform all Poles, all families, about how to effectively and quickly submit such applications – stated Michał Dworczyk on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

08:31

Dworczyk:

Tomorrow the Government Will Address the Bill on Zero PIT for Young People. We'd Like the Act to Come into Force from August 1st

- Tomorrow, the Council of Ministers will address the bill [introducing zero PIT for young people]. It has already been adopted by the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers. I am convinced that tomorrow the government will adopt this act and immediately send it to parliament. Of course, it then depends on the pace of work in the Sejm, the Senate, and then on the signature that the president will affix, but we would like, this is the scenario we are working on, for the act to come into force from August 1st - stated Michał Dworczyk in "Signals of the Day" on PR1.

Czaputowicz on Climate Neutrality Regulations: The Goal Was Rather For Some EU Countries to Make a Gesture Towards This Electorate After the Green Parties' Big Success

- The goal was rather for some European Union countries, after such a significant success of green parties in Western Europe, to make what could be called a gesture towards this electorate. We are looking at whether these goals are realistic - said Jacek Czaputowicz in an interview with Paweł Lisicki on Trójka Radio's "Political Salon".

09:13

Czaputowicz on Climate Neutrality: Poland's Energy is Coal-Based, Costs Would Be Higher Than in Some Western EU States. We Want Others to Understand, Show Solidarity, and Participate in Costs

- Due to the fact that Poland's energy sector is based on coal, these costs would be higher than in some Western EU states. We want others to understand this, show solidarity, and participate in the costs of transforming our industry or energy supply. We see this in a broader context. We are taking action ourselves, we are thinking about nuclear energy - said Jacek Czaputowicz in an interview with Paweł Lisicki on "Salon polityczny" (Political Salon) on Trójka radio.

Sellin Ahead of Tomorrow's Meeting with Dulkiewicz: I Am Open and Will Propose Cooperation on Westerplatte

The Mayor wished to meet, so I am of course open to such a meeting. I regret that it is so late, because I asked the Mayor back in January, when she took office as Mayor of Gdańsk after the tragic death of Paweł Adamowicz, for such meetings regarding Westerplatte. I reminded her several times that I wanted to discuss this – there was no response. Only now has the Mayor decided it is necessary to talk about it, when a group of MPs submitted a bill to regulate the ownership of the Westerplatte area, in order to be able to build the Westerplatte Museum there, which has been our dream for several years now. But of course, I am open to cooperation and will propose this cooperation to the Mayor,” stated Deputy Minister of Culture Jarosław Sellin in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

We are building the Westerplatte Museum, an outdoor, good Westerplatte Museum, which will attract tourists from home and abroad, and I wish for the city to also cooperate with us, for city representatives to be part of some committee that will refine, for example, the concept of this museum. The concept exists, but there are still various details that can be discussed,” he added.

09:25

Sellin:

The Westerplatte Museum Belongs to Poles and the World

We will build the museum [at Westerplatte]. The museum belongs to Poles, it belongs to the world, the museum of Westerplatte and the defensive war of 1939 in this symbolic, sacred place for Poles, which is Westerplatte. The city, for a quarter of a century, managing most of this area, has not done this and has neglected this area, and was only interested in Westerplatte once a year on September 1st at forty-five past four, organizing anniversary ceremonies. And that's good, for that I thank the city, it is a good tradition that such ceremonies take place, but on the remaining 364 days of the year, the city was not interested in Westerplatte” – said Deputy Minister of Culture Jarosław Sellin in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

PM Morawiecki Inaugurates Information Campaign on Expanded 500+ Program:

The Best Investment in Our Nation's Future.

- I am very pleased that we can now begin the second, and also very essential, phase of the 500+ program. A phase in which every child will be able to receive these funds, which are a kind of lifelong insurance policy until they reach maturity – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in front of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM).

- Our information tour across Poland is intended to ensure that all families can benefit from this program from the very beginning. 500 times 12 equals 6,000 PLN annually, which is a form of support for various needs, such as buying clothes during the year, a cinema ticket for the whole family, or some favorite shoes, sportswear for children. These may seem like small, insignificant matters to some, but I am convinced that for millions of Polish families, these are essential matters – the Prime Minister continued. He added:

"This is an excellent, the best investment in our nation's future. Already today we see that there are many more children, children are appearing, being born compared to the statistics presented by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) 4-5 years ago. And in short periods of time, a few years is a short period for demography, these forecasts do not change so quickly. Therefore, the fact that there are tens of thousands more children annually is a great merit of Polish families, I hope with modest, but significant, support also from the Polish state, because the Polish state wants to support Polish families. This is a social revolution, one can boldly say."

- Today we are launching a communication campaign regarding the extension of this program to all Polish families with children – emphasized the head of the Polish government, also encouraging electronic application submission.

Mucha on the Ombudsman's Stance: Counterproductive Action

The Presidential Chancellery is not commenting on this. Speaking from my own perspective, a ombudsman writing that they believe the direct coercive measures used were inadequate is a counterproductive action. We have regulations that clearly state that if an offender commits an act using a dangerous tool, then such measures can obviously be applied” – said presidential minister Paweł Mucha in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski in Radio Plus’s “Sedno Sprawy”.

Szczerski on Candidacy for NATO Deputy Secretary General: I Received the President's Consent

- Of course, the decision is not mine, so I will not be the one announcing it. And I am pleased that this name is also mentioned in a positive context by Polish commentators. I can only say one thing - the President has certainly given his consent for my name to be put into the pool. [My name] has been put into the pool, however, regarding the [EU] commissioner's role, that is a decision, and the Polish government will present candidates - stated Krzysztof Szczerski on "Sygnały dnia" PR1, when asked if he was vying for the position of NATO Deputy Secretary General.

- I received the President's consent, my name has been put into the pool, but the procedure is ongoing. I really ask you to inquire with the NATO side [about when the result will be known]. As I said, in this regard, I received the President's consent for my name to be put forward - he emphasized.

Gowin on Media Deconcentration: "It Must Occur on Normal, Market Principles. Whether we will take action, we will discuss at the Congress in Katowice."
"I dedicate to my critics a look at the solutions adopted in countries that the opposition very often holds up as an example to us, the United Right government, for instance, France or Germany. Their legislation significantly restricts the possibility of foreign capital purchasing media. Secondly, it guards media pluralism, preventing excessive concentration," said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin on Radio Kraków. "If you ask me about the tools of action that, in my opinion, would be worth taking, and whether we will take them, we will discuss in two weeks at the Congress in Katowice, that tool should be deconcentration regulations, and of course, this deconcentration must occur on normal, market principles," he added.

11:25

Gowin:

I'm not talking about re-nationalization of media, but re-polonization. It's something entirely different. I believe state influence on media should be limited only to public media.

I'm not talking about re-nationalization of media, but re-polonization. It's something entirely different. I believe state influence on media should be limited only to public media – to public radio and television. If this influence were too great, it would also be bad from the perspective of pluralism. It's not the case that there was a free market game over the last 20 years. We were economically devastated after the communist era. There was no adequate Polish private capital” – said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin on Radio Kraków.

PM:

In 2.5 Years, We Will Have Full Readiness of Railway Infrastructure, Enhancing the Potential to Make Gdańsk and Gdynia Ports the Number One Hub in the Baltic Sea
In two and a half years, we are to have full readiness of this railway infrastructure, which we are committing to build today. Infrastructure that will significantly increase transport capabilities for receiving goods and make the Tricity, Gdańsk, and Gdynia, primarily these ports, the true number one hub in the Baltic Sea, and we are heading in that direction. This is a vision for development, a vision that will certainly come true and will create new economic prospects - said Mateusz Morawiecki during the signing of agreements for additional railway infrastructure in Gdynia.

Bank Pekao S.A. Leads Record-Breaking Transaction in the Energy Sector
Bank Pekao S.A., in a consortium with 8 financial institutions, has signed a revolving credit facility agreement with PGNIG S.A. Bank Pekao acts as the credit agent and a leading lender in this transaction. This is the largest corporate financing transaction in Poland in the first half of 2019. The 5-year, syndicated revolving credit facility is valued at PLN 10 billion. PGNIG S.A. will allocate the funds obtained to the company's current financial needs, including the implementation of investment plans. – *Pekao's mission is to support key investments in strategic sectors of the Polish economy, which is why we are co-financing this project. This is another transaction in the energy and fuel sector with Pekao's leading participation, confirming our position as a leader in corporate solutions. It also confirms the great trust that industry leaders place in the bank* – says Tomasz Styczyński, Vice-President of Pekao responsible for corporate banking. Financing the investment needs of the leader in the Polish natural gas market is another project from the fuel and energy sector co-financed by Bank Pekao S.A. In the last three years, the bank has provided financing totaling PLN 3 billion to the largest entities in this sector, primarily for their development and investments.

Minister of Family in Silesia on the Occasion of an Information Campaign Regarding the Expansion of 500+:

The Application is Extremely Simplified
Today, the voivode's associates, experts, and in the coming days in subsequent municipalities and districts, will be showing, explaining, and advising parents on how to submit this application. The application is extremely simplified; it is only two pages long, so filling it out does not take much time. The procedure for issuing information has been simplified because we have simplified this application by eliminating the income criterion. We decided that an administrative decision is not necessary here, meaning that parents who submit the application online will also receive information online. And a fervent request to local governments to efficiently conduct this campaign. On behalf of the Prime Minister and the entire government, I want to assure you that for the expanded program there are – stated Bożena Borys-Szopa in Silesia, at a briefing on the occasion of an information campaign regarding the expansion of the Family 500+ program.

Ministry of Interior and Administration: Minister Decides No Work Will Be Done on the Idea of Taxing Childless Individuals

The Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA) has announced a definitive stance on the controversial proposal of taxing childless individuals. Minister Elżbieta Witek has decided that no work will be undertaken on this concept.

This decision, communicated via the official MSWiA Twitter account (https://twitter.com/MSWiA_GOV_PL/status/1143098374356459520), effectively shuts down any further discussion or legislative efforts related to implementing such a tax in Poland.

The idea of a tax on childless citizens has been a recurring topic of debate in Polish politics, often framed as a measure to encourage higher birth rates and support family policies. However, it has also faced significant criticism for potentially infringing on individual freedoms and being discriminatory.

The Ministry's statement indicates a clear rejection of this policy, signaling that it does not align with the government's current priorities or approach to family support and demographic challenges.

Schetyna to Szefernakier: Anyone claiming more local government powers means federalization or partition is discrediting the entire political camp. These are absurd arguments.

I am referring to the words of Deputy Minister Szefernakier, who states that (...) greater local government powers lead to federalization and partition. These are absurd arguments. If someone says this, and they are a PiS politician, they are discrediting the entire formation. One cannot attack local governments today. Local governments need to be supported,” said PO leader Grzegorz Schetyna in Gołaszyn.

14:55

Schetyna:

We Will Present Healthcare Solutions in Our Program Adopted in July

What is a huge problem today is the school system, the fear of reform, the effects of Minister Zalewska’s deformation, who is already preparing for holidays in Brussels, while the problem falls on the heads of local government officials. It’s not just parents who will have this problem. For local government officials – [for them] the problem of the double-year intake is starting already today, it will explode in September” – said the PO (Civic Platform) leader Grzegorz Schetyna in Gołaszyn.

Lack of reaction to problems with doctors, staff, lack of good NFZ (National Health Fund) policy will cause the healthcare problem to intensify. Today, European money is needed, investments are needed, large sums of money are needed in healthcare so that patients can say the situation is improving. We have spoken very clearly about this problem. We will present it in our program, which we will adopt in July” – he added.

Jakubiak and Liroy Leave Confederation

Today I can say that the time has passed, and I declare that I am not accepting Confederation's proposals for the autumn elections due to a lack of transparency and even good faith. Today, we are going into the autumn elections with our message of over 1400 words – Patriotism and Freedom – stated Marek Jakubiak at a briefing in the Sejm.

Court of Justice of the EU Rules: Poland Loses Dispute with EC Over Lowering Retirement Age for Supreme Court Judges

The Court of Justice of the European Union has ruled in a dispute between Poland and the European Commission regarding the lowering of the retirement age for Supreme Court judges. Poland has lost this case.

The background to this ruling stems from the changes introduced by the Polish government concerning the retirement age of Supreme Court judges, which the European Commission considered to be in conflict with EU law. The Commission argued that these changes undermined the independence of the judiciary.

The CJEU's decision is a significant one, reinforcing the principle of judicial independence within the European Union and potentially impacting future legislative actions by member states that may affect the judiciary.

15:14

Schetyna:

Tax-Free Pensions - A Campaign Promise We'll Make with PSL

I am convinced that what we are discussing with the Polish People's Party, tax-free pensions – how to make gross pay for low or small salaries not burdened by additional taxation. This is a challenge for us today, and we will talk about it during the election campaign and we will make these promises before the elections, because it is important. Money must be where it is most needed” – said Civic Platform leader Grzegorz Schetyna in Gołaszyn.

15:14

Schetyna on Szczerski's Candidacy: "Every Polish Candidacy in European, Global, and Important Organizations like NATO is Necessary and We Will Support It"

"Every Polish candidacy in European, global, and important organizations like NATO is necessary and we will support it. The only question is what needs to be done and whether support for this candidacy [of Krzysztof Szczerski] has been effectively built beyond the United States. As far as I know, this candidacy has not been agreed upon with Germany and France. It would be a shame. If this candidacy appears in public space, I hope it is not to burn it down, but rather that with the support of the majority of NATO countries, it will be supported as an investment in Poland's sovereign position and the importance of Polish interests," said PO Chairman Grzegorz Schetyna in Gołaszyn.

15:15

Schetyna:

If the situation arises, I will be eagerly rooting and doing everything possible for Donald Tusk to become the President of the European Commission

If such a situation arises where Donald Tusk is the candidate [for the President of the European Commission], I will be eagerly rooting and doing everything possible for Donald Tusk to reach the position of the President of the European Commission or the most important roles dedicated to the most significant politicians in Europe. This is what the discussion in Europe is about today, not yet about the appointments of commissioners” – stated the Civic Platform (PO) leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, in Gołaszyn.

17:15

Duda:

My Personal Dream and Conviction is to Strengthen the European Council and European Parliament
- My personal dream and conviction is that precisely these institutions of the European Union should be strengthened. The European Council and the European Parliament, because that is where our democratically elected representation lies, and they should have the greatest possible strength within the Union, just like national parliaments - said President Andrzej Duda during a meeting with residents of Ostrów Wielkopolski.

17:23

President Duda: "I assure you that family and citizen support programs will be implemented. From the very beginning, we heard: there is no money, there will be none. When you take money from thieves, then it exists."
"I assure you that these support programs for families, support for the ordinary citizen, which have been implemented so far, will be continued. Do not listen to all those who say that this government will abandon these programs. This government introduced these programs, it was part of the program, and they will be consistently implemented. From the very beginning, we heard: there is no money, there will be none. When you take money from thieves, then it exists. If someone were to ask me which thieves I mean, I am thinking of those who have been stealing VAT from us for years" - said President Andrzej Duda during a meeting with residents of Ostrów Wielkopolski.

17:45

Czarzasty:

The fundamental question is whether SLD members want us to go it alone or with partners. Only then will the board discuss coalition talks.

"Fundamentally, the question for us is this: do you want to go it alone, because a great many SLD members are putting forward this demand, that the party go it alone, or if the party is not to go it alone, do you want us to choose partners. The SLD authorities, the board which I have the pleasure of leading, will then sit down for coalition talks. Can we conduct these talks, or can't we? We can, the result of which is the 5 MEPs we got into the European Parliament, and in this regard, SLD members trust us" - said the head of SLD, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, on Polskie Radio 24.

17:45

Czarzasty:

I Wish the PSL Were in the Coalition. I Know Władek. Władek is a Peasant by Upbringing and Character. He Doesn't Change His Views Every Three Weeks

"Indeed, I would wish for the PSL to be in this coalition. Just three weeks ago, Władek Kosiniak-Kamysz and I were traveling to different districts and voivodeships every day, and we were shouting, holding each other warmly and nicely by the hand, 'united opposition, European Coalition'. I know Władek. Władek is a peasant by upbringing and character. He doesn't change his views every three weeks" - said the head of SLD, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, on Polskie Radio 24.

17:49

Czarzasty on the Together Party: We Apologize and Ask for Forgiveness. There Was a Time for Attack, a Time for Struggle. Now is the Time for Cooperation. I Hold Together in Great Esteem.

We apologize and ask for forgiveness. The bishops announced this in their time. Wise patterns should be maintained. I myself was not always wise. I myself attacked. There was a time for attack, a time for struggle. At this moment, I believe it is time for cooperation. We are putting everything behind us. As for the Together Party, I hold this party in great esteem” - said the head of the SLD, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, on Polish Radio 24.

19:38

Emilewicz:

France's Energy Mix, 80% Nuclear, Makes Reaching 2050 Climate Neutrality Cheaper; Demanding the Same from Us Undermines Our Economy's Competitiveness
- The Prime Minister has fulfilled the government's position agreed upon over recent months, and now let's tell the truth about what happened last week at the European Council: firstly, our view on raising ambitions regarding the 2050 climate neutrality target was shared by several other member states, and the conclusions adopted by everyone state that the energy transformation must take into account the geographical, territorial diversity, and the readiness and location of individual states. France's energy mix is 80% based on nuclear power, and in that context, reaching the 2050 neutrality target is significantly less costly. Therefore, demanding a similar goal from us means lowering the competitiveness of our economy - said Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, in FpF.

19:47

Emilewicz:

Together with Minister Szymański, we presented Poland's position as one of the first countries on EU industrial policy. It includes the establishment of an Energy Transition Fund
- We are starting a serious discussion that will require very detailed, specific conclusions in the autumn of this year and spring of next. It's about aligning goals with capabilities, including financial instruments. Today, together with Minister Szymański, we presented our position on EU industrial policy. We are one of the first countries to have prepared this position, and we sent it to the European Commission today. And in this position, adopted by the Committee for European Affairs before last week's Council, we have outlined four fundamental goals that industrial policy should be guided by, including one goal concerning climate. And within this climate goal, we have enshrined the necessity of establishing an Energy Transition Fund, which will allow us to enhance the competitiveness of the European economy and enable countries like Poland to adapt to the goal of climate neutrality. Whether that will be the year 2050 or slightly later is a matter for negotiation - said Jadwiga Emilewicz, head of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, in FpF.

19:56

Lubnauer:

It's High Time Those Who Contribute to the State Finally Received Something from It. We Can Boldly Say It's Time for Programs for Working People.

- It's high time that those who contribute to the state, meaning taxpayers, finally receive something from it. We are all taxpayers, but we can boldly say that it's time for programs for working people, time for incentives for those who want to combine retirement with work, time for reduced taxes, and a tax-free amount - said Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" on Polsat News.

19:58

Emilewicz:

We Didn't Get Scolded by the ECJ ruling, Our Predecessors Did for Inaction Regarding the Previous Perspective. This Government Has Made a Huge Effort to Improve Air Quality
- We do not question the report or the state of the climate. This government has prepared itself in terms of measuring air quality. It wasn't us who got a scolding in the ECJ ruling, but our predecessors for their inaction regarding the previous perspective. This government has made a huge effort to improve air quality. Who is responsible for 70% of global greenhouse gas emissions? China, the USA, and India. Let's face the truth. If we suddenly decided that Poland would cut all greenhouse gas emissions this year, if we decided today to shut down cars, shut down factories. Does that change anything? No, nothing changes. At the same time, we are launching a program for prosumers - said Jadwiga Emilewicz in FpF.

20:01

Lubnauer:

Morawiecki Secured Our Right to Pollute Ourselves with Smog and Fight Climate Change Someday
I would like to see changes in ecology. Do you know what right Mateusz Morawiecki secured for us? Mateusz Morawiecki secured for us the right to poison ourselves with smog and fight climate change someday - Katarzyna Lubnauer said in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" on Polsat News.

20:04

Emilewicz:

This Year, Solar Power the Size of a 200MW Block Will Be Installed on Polish Rooftops, Equivalent to 50% of Poland's Energy Sector. We Can Move from 9th to 4th Place in Installed Capacity.
- Prosumer policy will allow every Pole to install a photovoltaic system on their roof. Tomorrow, an amendment to the Renewable Energy Sources Act will be presented to the Council of Ministers. We are increasing the prosumer status for small and medium-sized enterprises. I stated in January that this year, power equivalent to a 200MW block, which is 50% of Poland's energy sector, will be installed on Polish rooftops. And we are well on our way. The Polish Chamber of Energy has stated that we are capable of moving from 9th to 4th place in installed capacity – Jadwiga Emilewicz said in FpF.

20:08

Emilewicz:

We've Installed 11,000 New Rooftop Photovoltaic Systems This Quarter, Reducing CO2 Emissions by 5,000 Tons
- We've seen 11,000 new rooftop photovoltaic installations in the first quarter of this year. Thanks to a single rooftop installation: a 6kWh system on an average-sized single-family home in Poland, we are reducing CO2 emissions by 5,000 tons. These are tangible things we are doing. The largest photovoltaic farm in Warsaw will be located on the roof of my ministry, complete with an energy storage system - said Jadwiga Emilewicz in FpF.

20:16

Emilewicz on Urgent Meeting with Sasin Regarding EC Letter: 'We Highlighted Energy Poverty as a Cause of Low Emissions in Poland, Prompting the Clean Air Program'
- Deputy Prime Minister Sasin, alarmed by the EC's letter concerning furnaces, summoned us to a meeting. It was we who stated that energy poverty is one of the causes of low emissions in Poland, which is why we launched the Clean Air program aimed at replacing boilers and thermal modernization. Czaputowicz on ECJ Ruling: "A Loss with No Practical Significance, We Will Take No Action." The Court Stated It Was Worth Using the Commission's Request to Strengthen Jurisprudence.

- A loss with no practical significance, we will take no action. The Commission stated it was worth issuing such a ruling, perhaps in this case it was the Court, that it was worth using the Commission's request to strengthen the line of jurisprudence - said Jacek Czaputowicz in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

Czaputowicz:

There are arguments for US policy, Iran is returning to nuclear armament. On the other hand, these tensions must be de-escalated. We are anxiously observing the situation in the Persian Gulf

- We are monitoring it. We would favour a peaceful resolution to this situation, we will see how it develops. There are arguments for American policy, because Iran is indeed returning to the concept of nuclear armament. On the other hand, these tensions must be de-escalated. We are anxiously observing the situation in the Persian Gulf - said Jacek Czaputowicz in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" on Polsat News.

- We are a member of the European Union. Should such a situation arise, Federica Mogherini would certainly receive our support for some actions. We are close with the USA, but our priority is EU unity - added Czaputowicz.

Strzembosz on the Disgusting Campaign Against Bodnar, Owsiak: Politicians Say Truly Scandalous Things, and We Unfortuntately Repeat Them, Piwnik on Reflecting Whether I, as a Citizen, Won't One Day Also Need the RPO's Protection
-- LIVEBLOG 300POLITYKI: Emilewicz: We are capable of moving from 9th to 4th place in installed renewable energy capacity. Jakubiak on starting with Liroy. Czarzasty extends a hand to the Together party. PAD: From the very beginning, we heard: there is no money, there will be no money. When money is taken from thieves, it exists. Schetyna on Szczerski's candidacy: Every Polish candidacy in important European, global structures like NATO is needed, and we will support it. https://300polityka.pl/live/2019/06/24/ ***** POLSAT EVENTS -- THE NEW 500+ PROGRAM STARTS IN A WEEK - announcement: The Prime Minister speaks of a social revolution and a new life for Polish families. So far, over 3.5 million children have benefited from the program. After the changes, their number will increase to almost 7 million. -- THE OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT INFORMATION CAMPAIGN REGARDING 500+ HAS STARTED - Paweł Gadomski. -- WARSAW LOSES TO BRUSSELS. REGULATIONS ON LOWERING THE RETIREMENT AGE FOR SUPREME COURT JUDGES ARE CONTRARY TO EU LAW - CJEU - announcement. ***** TVN FACTS -- WHY CAN THE CHILDREN'S OMBUDSMAN NOT BE AN OMBUDSMAN FOR SLAPS. Politicians accuse the Ombudsman of defending the rights of a murderer. Why is this accusation dangerous? -- The Ombudsman is facing a witch hunt of unprecedented scale - both he and his family are being attacked - KKZ. -- ADAM STRZEMBOSZ: It is disgusting, of course. Completely unrelated to Mr. Bodnar's activities, which in my opinion are useful and consistent with his duties. Everyone is becoming demoralized. As is known – power corrupts, and absolute, universal power corrupts particularly. -- KKZ ON DOUBTS ABOUT WHETHER HUMAN RIGHTS WERE VIOLATED: The witch hunt was unleashed when the Ombudsman issued a statement after seeing photos shared by the police, showing how the suspect in the brutal murder of 10-year-old Kristyna was apprehended. The Ombudsman appealed for the dignity of the detainee because the scenes he saw caused him concern. Doubts arose as to whether human rights had not been violated. -- ADAM STRZEMBOSZ: Justified. Both because of that video and because of the suspicion that the rather brutal securing of the suspect was staged for propaganda reasons, not substantive ones. -- BARBARA PIWNIK: A citizen who harms individual members of this society remains a citizen. And only a legally binding court decision allows one to speak of someone as a criminal. -- PIWNIK CONTINUES: All these emotions should, however, be preceded by deep reflection on whether I, as a citizen, will not one day also be waiting for the Ombudsman's protection. -- THE OMBUDSMAN'S STATEMENT ONLY CAUSED A WITCH HUNT - KKZ: -- JERZY OWSIAK: It is we, society, who have consented to such a narrative. Let's not blame politicians. They say truly scandalous things, and we, unfortunately, repeat them. ***** TVP NEWS -- THE GOVERNMENT DECIDED THAT 500+ WILL BE PAID TO ALL CHILDREN, BUT THE OPPOSITION IMPLIES THAT IF THEY GAIN POWER, THEY WILL INTRODUCE CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM - announcement. -- MONEY FOR 500+ WAS FOUND, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THANKS TO CLOSING THE VAT GAP - Rafał Wolski. -- NOW THE PLATFORM ANNOUNCES THAT IT WILL SUPPORT 500+, BUT EXPERTS DOUBT WHETHER THE PLATFORM WILL NOT CHANGE ITS MIND AGAIN. This is another installment in the dispute over who should exercise power in member states – national governments or EU institutions. -- THE CJEU IS INCREASINGLY CRITICIZED, AMONG OTHERS IN GERMANY, FOR ATTEMPTS TO EXPAND ITS COMPETENCES TOWARDS MEMBER STATES - Maksymilian Maszenda. -- BRUSSELS ELITES MOCK TUSK - banner. -- JEAN-CLAUDE JUNCKER IS NOT THE FIRST TIME HE HAS NOT SPARED TUSK STINGING REMARKS. THE SAME HAPPENED WHEN THEY FOUND THEMSELVES IN THE PRESENCE OF DONALD TRUMP - Marcin Tulicki. -- POLITICIANS OF THE EC COUNTED ON TUSK. SOME MEDIA EVEN SHOWED HIM ON A WHITE HORSE - Tulicki. -- TUSK, BEFORE THE ELECTIONS, DIRECTLY INSTRUCTED WHOM TO VOTE FOR - Tulicki.
