Wójcik:

Bodnar Should Withdraw His Attacks on the Police

- The Ombudsman Bodnar should withdraw his attacks on the police, because he is essentially ridiculing his office. This is completely unserious - stated Michał Wójcik in Dariusz Ociepa's program "Breakfast on Polsat News".

- We can imagine any person who is arrested at this moment, for example, not because they are a murderer, but because they are a political opponent, and their arms will be twisted behind their back - said Joanna Mucha.

Libicki:

The Current Government Undermines Poland's Greatest Local Government Achievement. Out of Two and a Half Thousand Municipalities, I Wouldn't Rule Out Some Managing Things Worse Than the State
- That's an exaggeration. As someone from Poznań who was there 30 years ago, I believe that area shouldn't look like it does. I'm quite surprised it looks that way. This fits into a broader problem of the current government's reluctance towards local authorities. Minister Gliński should sit down with Ms. Dulkiewicz and determine how they will co-finance it. Framing this confrontationally, with the government taking over the area against the local authorities' will, aligns with the entire policy where the ruling party speaks of local government as the biggest threat to Poland's unity. The current government undermines Poland's greatest local government achievement. Out of two and a half thousand municipalities in Poland, I wouldn't rule out finding some where local authorities manage something worse than the state – said Jan Filip Libicki on Woronicza 17.

Dietl:

I wouldn't attribute any intent of attacking local governments here. This land is used in a deplorable state, contrary to obvious public interest; it is neglected, and historical truth is not well highlighted there.
- In continental Europe, we have limited property rights, which stipulate that if something is not used according to its intended purpose, in a socially beneficial way. This is no aberration. I wouldn't attribute any intent of attacking local governments here. This land is used in a deplorable state, contrary to obvious public interest; it is neglected, and historical truth is not well highlighted there. It doesn't frighten me that if the state, after 30 years, hasn't managed to fix this, then someone else might do it. This is an absolute last resort in this specific situation - said Dr. Marek Dietl, CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, representing the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland in the studio.

Dietl:

Western European Countries' Selfish Stance Imposing Strict Norms Without Financial Support, Reducing Our Region's Competitiveness within the EU, is Hard to Accept
- Countries in our region did not fully influence or choose how their energy mix would be shaped; these were decisions made during communist times when these countries lacked full sovereignty. In this sense, the fundamental question is who will pay, because the direction is clear: we should care for the environment. I have personal convictions on this matter; I came by bike today. I am certain that we must do something about the environment. Such a selfish stance by Western European countries, who wish to impose very strict norms without financial support, thereby reducing the competitiveness of countries in our region within the EU, is difficult to accept. Poland additionally has rather poor geographical conditions for renewable energy; a solar panel in our conditions pays for itself in about 30 years. In this sense, Western European countries should engage in the energy transformation of countries in our region – stated Marek Dietl, advisor to the President, at Woronicza 17.

Deputy Foreign Minister: It's Morawiecki's Personal Success, We Can Now Negotiate an Ambitious Compensation Package
- This is Prime Minister Morawiecki's personal success, because he personally ensured that the year 2050 was not included as climate neutrality, which would have resulted in enormous costs for Polish consumers and a sharp increase in energy prices. Another amendment was personally submitted by the Prime Minister concerning social justice in the introduction of further climate policy goals. This will translate into us being able to negotiate an ambitious compensation package. Thanks to what the Prime Minister achieved, it will be possible to shield consumers and implement an evolutionary change in the energy mix. We must introduce this in an evolutionary manner, according to what we can afford - said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in Woronicza 17.

Jaki:

I Believe it Would Be Good for Bodnar to be Dismissed, but We Respect the 5-Year Term. This is My Opinion

- I do not have authorization to speak on behalf of the entire caucus. I believe [Adam Bodnar] is a very bad ombudsman. I believe it would be good for him to be dismissed, but we respect the 5-year term. This is just my opinion - stated Patryk Jaki on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

PO's Program Congress on July 12-13

- I invite you to the Civic Platform's program congress on July 12-13. You [PiS] have it a week earlier. You don't have a program at all - stated Sławomir Neumann on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" [Coffee on the Bench].
