Today in Warsaw, Ryszard Petru's new party, "Teraz!", will hold its convention. The start and welcoming by the leaders is planned for 14:00, followed by Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus's speech at 14:05, and Ryszard Petru's address at 14:20. Other speeches will commence at 14:35. The convention is scheduled to conclude at 15:00.

At 13:00, President Andrzej Duda will be in Tomaszów Mazowiecki to cheer on the athletes participating in the Speed Skating World Cup. Later, at 18:00, the Presidential Couple will attend the Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony.

- At the moment, there are no agreements. You could say that the ball is in Platforma's court in the sense that, in their opinion, this will rebuild trust - Katarzyna Lubnauer said on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę". As she continued:

"If we were to build a new quality in politics, if there were to be new standards based on construction, trust, partnership, and diversity, then what happened last week does not build those standards."

- We will support Marshal Dolniak and Adam Szłapka, because we are a political group that doesn't trip others, but rather offers a helping hand - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

- On Tuesday, a special, extraordinary session of the club will take place, and a decision will be made there, in order to always strive to show that there are political groups that know how to behave decently - added the PSL politician.

- Civic Coalition (KO) proved itself and stopped PiS in the local government elections. We achieved this together with Nowoczesna and Barbara Nowacka. We managed to do it, and that's a success. The troubles that existed were not our troubles; we didn't have internal disputes. We had to react - stated Sławomir Neumann on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" (Coffee on the Bench).

- Today, we must take responsibility for building a coalition for the European elections, for winning these elections. This is what we said, this is the scenario we assumed - he continued. - To build such a coalition, it absolutely must be broadened; it must be bigger - he added.

"Of course, there are no current political agendas at play. This is a gigantic scandal and there are many lies surrounding it [SKOK Wołomin]. We will gradually address them all. The facts are that while SKOK Wołomin was under the supervision of the National SKOK Association, problematic loans represented only a few percent. It was only when it came under the supervision of Civic Platform, KNF, etc., that money was massively siphoned off. Strangely enough, when a PiS senator is present, they are afraid to steal, but when Civic Platform is in power, they steal, and on a grand scale," said Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki on "Kawa na ławę" on TVN24. 

"I haven't heard such rudeness and insolence in a long time. The fact that you, Mr. Ziobro or Święczkowski, can look in the mirror is something I find unbelievable. The facts are that for 3 years you blocked the possibility of the KNF taking over supervision of SKOKs. The late Lech Kaczyński was doing this, sending a law passed by us in the Sejm in 2008 to the Constitutional Tribunal. Andrzej Duda helped him" – said Sławomir Neumann of Civic Platform (PO) on the program "Kawa na ławę" on TVN24.

“Wooden dormitories and low wages in Poland are tangible examples of how poor Poland was. I entered politics to change that, so Poland wouldn't be one of Europe's poorest countries, so that instead of arguing about the past, we could focus on thinking about the future. In the 1990s, I worked at the Ministry of Finance. That's when I understood that politics, to be effective, cannot rely on making rotten compromises. Cooperation with AWS was an endless dispute. Many of today's PiS and PO politicians come from AWS” – said Ryszard Petru during the Teraz! convention. 

„500+ has not worked. Demographically, the 500+ program has been a failure. 10,000 fewer children have been born this year than last. 500+ does not help those who want to have children. Because the greatest help is needed for the first child. We will introduce aid: for the first child, only for those who work, only for those who need it” - said Ryszard Petru at the Teraz! convention.

„In a year from today, we will submit Poland's accession to the euro. The economic and social security of Poles is closely tied to Europe. Only the euro currency guarantees Poland's permanent presence in the decision-making structures of the European Union” - said Ryszard Petru at the Teraz! convention.

„I have learned my lesson. I am here today because I care about Poland and our future. I am challenging those who are currently in power. But also the divided opposition. It is time to reject a generation of politicians who have lived solely off politics for the last 20 years. It is time to move aside those who consider lies, cynicism, and disloyalty to be virtues. It is time for courage, truth, and loyalty. Let us not allow the rulers to treat our country like their personal farm and do whatever they please with Poland” - said Ryszard Petru at the Teraz! convention.

- The issue of the Euro is not solely an economic matter, but a political one. Please note that Great Britain, without the Euro, left the EU with ease, while Greece, despite actually deserving exclusion from the Eurozone, remained in the EU. One can declare the adoption of the Euro immediately after winning elections. I would expect the entire opposition to make such a declaration to Poles, because Poles want a guarantee that we will remain permanently in Europe and be an integral part of the European decision-making system - stated Ryszard Petru in an interview with Piotr Marciniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

- Last week, the Civic Coalition ceased to exist. In my opinion, no one with sound judgment will enter into this KO formula. We have declarations from both PSL and SLD that no one wants to be so embraced within this formula that they will be absorbed - stated Ryszard Petru in an interview with Piotr Marciniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach". He added that the optimal coalition is all together, in a formula where everyone in the coalition has stakes.
