Friday's Political Agenda: Parliament's Express Work on CPN, Braun with Tymiński, Czarnek in Wysokie Mazowieckie

At 9:00 AM, the Sejm will resume its session with procedural votes, and then, at 9:35 AM, the second readings of government bills constituting the so-called fuel package, i.e., the CPN presented by the Prime Minister, will commence.

At 11:00 AM, a break will be announced, and at 11:30 AM, an hour-long block of votes will begin, during which the aforementioned solutions will be adopted and immediately sent to the Senate.

The session of the upper house will begin at 2:00 PM, and the plan is for the bills to reach the president's desk today.

At 5:00 PM, a meeting with the Vice-Chairman of PiS and candidate for Prime Minister, Przemysław Czarnek, will take place in Wysokie Mazowieckie.

At 7:00 PM, a meeting with Grzegorz Braun and Stanisław Tymiński will be held in Warsaw.

‘We Must Be Clear About It’: Sawicki on Fuel Prices

- The Prime Minister has decided that this is the moment when mechanisms to curb further price increases [in fuels] must be introduced, but we must be clear about it – neither the Prime Minister, nor the government, nor any Polish politician knows what will happen on the global markets and to what extent this decision, so to speak, will improve the situation for consumers – stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Zet.

08:09

Sawicki on Czarnek's Words:

One Needs to Weigh Everything Up.

- As an opposition party, he [PiS and Przemysław Czarnek] was right, but when he was in government, he also slowly introduced a mechanism to regulate prices, so one needs to weigh everything up - stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Zet.

08:11

Sawicki on Hennig-Kloska:

One of the Government’s Weakest Points from the Very Beginning.

- I don't know yet [if I will defend Paulina Hennig-Kloska]. To be honest, regarding the coalition, I have no doubts, there will be immense pressure for us to defend this minister, but she has been one of the government's weaker points from the very beginning - stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Zet.

- I don't hide this, because if you look at all the relationships, for example, between the production sphere, related to nature, i.e., agriculture, forestry, etc., and the issue of environmental protection, Minister Hennig-Kloska has positioned herself solely on the protection side, disregarding the productive functions of nature - he continued.

08:13

Sawicki:

There Will Never Be a Joint List

- No, there will never be a joint list [in parliamentary elections] - stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Zet.

08:22

Sawicki on Bringing Ziobro Before the State Tribunal:

We Don't Have Such a Parliamentary Majority.

- Mr. Speaker Czarzasty, those votes won't happen, because we don't have such a parliamentary majority [to bring a politician before the State Tribunal]. Secondly, there isn't enough time to prepare the motion to bring him before the Tribunal - stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Zet.

- The work of the Constitutional Accountability Committee, and I work on that committee, is not, so to speak, catching fleas, but rather painstaking, hard work, and there's no way we can review a motion to bring Zbigniew Ziobro before the State Tribunal in two weeks and have it voted on in the Sejm. Certainly, this term won't see Ziobro brought before the State Tribunal - he continued.

08:31

Klimczak on Upcoming Changes in Driver Training and Examination:

I Have a Bill Prepared.

- I agree with those instructors who have spoken out, stating that changes are necessary in the system of driver examination and training - said Dariusz Klimczak in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- Yes, we are preparing for this. I have a bill prepared. Minister Stanisław Bukowiec will present its details [...] next week - he continued, when asked if changes would occur.

- The changes will be profound [...] for example, the maneuver yard examination will be eliminated - he added.

08:36

Klimczak:

We are working on a special deregulation package for the construction industry

- I spoke with Minister Berek on this matter, and he agreed with me that we need to prepare a special deregulation package for the construction industry as soon as possible, because it will truly reduce costs - said Dariusz Klimczak on RMF FM.

- We are already working on it, I have several proposals prepared, and I am open to suggestions from construction professionals themselves, as we are implementing this at their request. However, I would like a proposal for amendments to several laws to be presented to the Council of Ministers' legislative agenda before the summer holidays - he continued.

08:40

Sawicki:

We Will Submit the Healthcare Reform Bill to Parliament Next Week

- I think that as early as next week we will be submitting a bill to reform the healthcare service to the Sejm. We have had it ready for several months, but there is an internal, discussion-worthy problem, also within the coalition. I consulted this bill with the Minister of Health and with Minister Berek. I thought it would be a government bill, but ultimately I have signals, an answer, that we should proceed with it as a parliamentary bill - stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Zet.

08:40

Klimczak on SAFE:

Had the President Signed This Act, We Would Be Launching Tenders Already.

- The [SAFE] veto changes a lot, because had the President signed this act, we would already be launching tenders. We have them ready, and for two investments, we are ready to announce tenders as early as April. Others will be a bit later, but it's within this year - Dariusz Klimczak said on RMF FM.

08:41

Motyka:

If the President Signs the Fuel Price Bill Today, the Reduction Should Be Visible at Stations Before the Holidays

- We are counting on very swift work. It's already underway in parliament. Yesterday, work in the Sejm lasted until almost midnight. Today, the Sejm starts in the morning, and the Senate in the afternoon. The President should sign this bill today. We will appeal to the President for this - Miłosz Motyka said in Polsat News's "Graffiti".

Asked what would happen if the President signed the bill today, he replied: - Before the holidays, this reduction should be visible at the stations.

08:44

"I Still Have Plan C": Klimczak on SAFE

- We have plan B [regarding SAFE] and we are discussing it even with Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The main architect is the Ministry of National Defence and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, but the Ministry of Infrastructure is also significantly presenting its vision on how we could legally finance such investments - said Dariusz Klimczak on RMF FM.

- I still have plan C, in which I would like to commence these investments in a scaled-down version. I am waiting for 100%, and very substantial funds are needed for that - he continued.

- Yes, supplementing the scope of investments - he elaborated, when asked if there is a plan C and if it involves "commencing, and then possibly attempting to reallocate these funds from other sources."

President Signs 5 Laws; Leśkiewicz Publishes List

"The President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, has signed 5 laws", informed Rafał Leśkiewicz on X.

The following laws have been signed:

- the act of February 27, 2026, amending the act amending the act on special measures related to the removal of flood consequences and certain other acts, and the act – Water Law (Sejm print number 2223);

- the act of March 13, 2026, amending the act on the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity and the Information Point for Entrepreneurs and certain other acts (Sejm print number 2076);

- the act of March 13, 2026, amending the act on special principles for preparing the implementation of investments in flood protection structures (Sejm print number 1816);

- the act of March 13, 2026, on the non-punishment of citizens of the Republic of Poland participating on the side of Ukraine in the armed conflict caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Sejm print number 1196);

- the act of February 27, 2026, amending the act on the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution (Sejm print number 2201).

08:54

Motyka Responds to Czarnek's Words:

There Was No Looting.

- There was no looting. We will introduce, if there is such a need - I think this was also announced quite unequivocally by the Prime Minister, by Minister Domański - a windfall tax. So, if anyone shows such a profit, then these funds will actually go to the budget of Poles - said Miłosz Motyka in "Graffiti" Polsat News, referring in this way to Przemysław Czarnek's words from yesterday.

We quoted them here.

- However, regarding our actions, we have been taking them from the very first days in terms of margin reduction and special promotions. We have secured supplies and are taking further steps - he added.

10:37

Krajewski:

Tusk's Government is Fleecing Poles

- We must say this once again. Tusk's government is fleecing Poles, not only is it failing to keep its election promises, because today it is important to also ask the question - what about the 60,000 PLN tax-free amount? This was supposed to be settled within the first 100 days of the government, and 2 years, almost 2.5 years have passed since the start of the December 13th coalition's rule, and life is becoming more and more expensive for Poles in Tusk's state - stated Jarosław Krajewski in the Sejm.

10:38

Poles Paid Over Two Billion Zloty for Tusk's Slowness, Bochenek on Fuel Prices

- Over the past three weeks, since we've been appealing for price reductions at petrol stations, for tax reductions on fuel, Poles have paid over two billion zloty for the slowness of Tusk and his government - said Rafał Bochenek at a press conference.

- Today, on behalf of millions of Polish families, millions of entrepreneurs, we are presenting the Tusk government with just such a bill: two billion zloty overpaid for fuel, due to the Tusk government's slowness since March 9th, because it was precisely then [...] that Professor Przemysław Czarnek presented a very specific bill aimed at reducing VAT and excise duty rates on fuels - he continued.

- We are going to present this bill under the Civic Platform's club soon - he went on to say.

10:40

"It Will Depend on Ministers' Moods." Bochenek: We Appeal to the Government to Introduce Reduced VAT and Excise Rates into the Act

"Today we are proceeding with a bill submitted by Donald Tusk's government, which was announced to provide a reduction in VAT from 23% to 8% and also an excise tax reduction. It turns out, if you carefully read the draft of this act, there is not a word about it in this act; there is only a general authorization for ministers to reduce tax rates by regulation" - said Rafał Bochenek at a press conference.

"There is no guarantee that this reduction in taxes, both VAT and excise on fuels, will last until June 30th, as proposed by our candidate for prime minister, Professor Przemysław Czarnek. In reality, the rates of these taxes will depend on the ministers' moods; they can be changed or increased from day to day, which means Tusk and his government will continue to fleece Polish citizens" - he continued.

"We appeal to the government to introduce reduced VAT and excise tax rates into the act" - he added.

11:08

A Simple Test of Honesty Towards Citizens". Żurek on Voting to Overturn the President's Veto

"Today in the Sejm, a simple test of honesty will take place. Not towards the government. Not towards the president. Towards the citizens" - wrote Waldemar Żurek on X.

"The vote to overturn the veto will show who truly wants a fair criminal procedure, and who prefers to continue defending a state that cuts corners. This law was not meant to "protect" anyone. It was meant to limit the abuse of pre-trial detention, to organize regulations, and to strengthen citizen guarantees in their encounter with the state. That is why there was so much political outcry around it." - he continued in his post.

"Instead of a discussion about facts, we were subjected to scaremongering about pedophiles, terrorists, the border, and everything that can be thrown into one, deceitful bag. This is an old method. When arguments against fairer rules are lacking, playing on fear begins." - he added.

"Each parliamentary club will have to answer a simple question: are they on the side of the citizen and their rights, or on the side of oppressive regulations abused by the previous authorities. Are the parties that speak of economic freedom, individual liberty, and their own independence actually on a short leash from Nowogrodzka?" - he emphasized.

11:26

Fuel Price Cut is a Good Solution, But There's a Catch. Kaczyński in the Sejm

- A fuel price cut is certainly a good solution, but there's a catch. Ministers make decisions through regulations. This should be in a statute. We will vote for the statute, but it must be pointed out that this is something done, but not completely - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in the Sejm.

11:29

Kaczyński:

We Will Uphold the President's Veto

- We will uphold the president's veto, as this veto is in favor of criminals, including pedophiles - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in the Sejm.

11:31

Kaczyński:

A Special Law Will Be Needed to Reinstate the Constitution in Poland

- We are considering how, after removing this government and this majority, to bring about the restoration of the Constitution's operation, because today it is no longer a simple matter. I believe a special law will be needed to reinstate the Constitution's validity in Poland - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in the Sejm.

11:49

Kosiniak-Kamysz announces agreement with Estonia on security cooperation:

We have confirmed our allied commitments.

- We have confirmed our allied commitments between Poland and Estonia. Poland will fulfill all commitments arising from the North Atlantic Treaty, especially Article 5. I would like to assure the minister, but also the entire Estonian nation, all our friends, about this friendship, cooperation, and our relations - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a joint press conference with the Estonian Minister of Defence.

- This is the first, but most important issue. The second is the agreement signed by our companies. Both the Polish Armaments Group and Estonian companies have signed cooperation agreements, particularly in the development of drone and anti-drone capabilities - he continued.

As announced by the head of the Ministry of National Defence: - We want to jointly sign, soon, I hope on May 21st in Tallinn, an agreement on security guarantees, on cooperation for security. The last one is from early 2012-13, so everything has changed in Europe since then. We need to have a new agreement.

12:04

Kaczyński tweets:

This is further proof that despite the tragedy in Kłodzko, there is not a shred of decency in KO.

- President Nawrocki's veto is blocking the introduction of regulations beneficial to pedophiles. These regulations would prevent the use of pre-trial detention against perpetrators of these terrible crimes - Jarosław Kaczyński wrote on social media.

- It is obvious that they must be blocked! The December 13 coalition wants to introduce these regulations… This is further proof that despite the tragedy in Kłodzko, there is not a shred of decency in KO - emphasized the PiS leader.

12:10

"We Have a Plan B": Pełczyńska-Nalęcz on Today's Vote on the President's Veto

- Rights should be protected for everyone, and that is why we, as Poland 2050, have a plan B and will submit a relevant bill. I hope that, above all, the veto will be rejected, but if it is not rejected, our bill will quickly go through the legislative process and this time it will be signed - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nalęcz in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.

12:11

Czarzasty:

Czarnek's Bill Was Not Processed. It Evidently Had Some Flaws

- It seems to me that Przemysław Czarnek's bill was not processed - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in a conversation with journalists, when asked how he would respond to PiS's opinions that the government bill on fuel prices is a plagiarism of what Przemysław Czarnek proposed.

- It evidently had some flaws - he continued, after being pointed out that it was submitted in mid-March.

12:17

Czarnek:

After 3 Weeks, Tusk Woke Up, Having Ripped Off Poles for 2 Billion

- They woke up, after 3 weeks Prime Minister Tusk woke up, after he ripped off Poles for 2 billion PLN, because that’s how much Poles left at petrol stations due to your inactivity for so long, you and Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz - stated Przemysław Czarnek in the Sejm.

12:22

Bogucki to Tusk:

You’ve decided to peddle political smoke. You’ll lose again.

- Instead of addressing the truly serious scandals happening within your circles, and purely for the sake of the victims, I don’t want to delve deeper into what’s occurring in other state sectors and ministries – addressing discharged patients, broken promises, including regarding treatment limits for patients – Prime Minister Tusk, you’ve decided to concern yourself with the state budget, which you and the Minister of Finance are essentially driving to ruin. Instead of all that, you’ve decided to peddle political smoke. But this peddling of political smoke will end as it ended with two consecutive vetoes – you’ll lose again - stated Zbigniew Bogucki in the Sejm.

12:27

Leśkiewicz:

Upon Return from the USA, the President Will Announce Actions Regarding the Constitutional Tribunal

From March 27-30 (Friday-Monday), the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, will travel to the United States – announced Rafał Leśkiewicz on social media.

The program includes a visit to the Lockheed Martin factory producing F-35 fighter jets, participation in the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, and a meeting with the Polish diaspora living in Texas, combined with the awarding of state decorations.

- Upon his return from the USA, the President will announce actions concerning the Constitutional Tribunal – informed the President's spokesperson.

12:30

Bogucki Confirms Submission of Presidential Bill:

I Will Not Agree to Protect Pedophiles.

- It is not the case that the President remains passive in this matter. Today, just before 11:00 AM, the President submitted his own bill, in which, on the one hand, the President of the Republic of Poland says - I will not agree to prolonged, temporary arrests, I will not agree for them to last indefinitely, but I also will not agree to protect pedophiles, and hence the presidential bill - stated Zbigniew Bogucki in the Sejm.

- The President also included in this bill essentially a general prohibition on the use of the fruits of the poisonous tree, meaning that evidence gathered as a result of prohibited acts cannot be used, but an exception must be made for it - for crimes against humanity, state security, terrorist acts of this kind, or the most abominable crimes against children - the head of the KPRP continued.

12:34

Bogucki:

You Can Even Attack Your Own Coalition Partners and Your Media Cartel, Reaching Out to Closest Family Members

- You lie and attack the president, not only in this matter but in many others. Of course, you don't stop there. You can even attack your own coalition partners and your media cartel, reaching out to closest family members. You do the same to me, you look for skeletons in the closet, for leverage. All of this, Mr. Giertych, will end up in the trash. Your theories will end up in the trash. Remember one thing in the end - we will never form alliances with liars, we will never bow our heads to your anger and evil - stated Zbigniew Bogucki in the Sejm.

12:36

Żurek responds to Bogucki:

Grounds for applying temporary detention may still be used.

- I will also address the accusations made by Minister Bogucki. You know well that in such cases, for the crimes mentioned by Minister Bogucki, courts do not apply temporary detention. That is the practice, we have examined the statistics - said Waldemar Żurek in the Sejm.

- The grounds for applying temporary detention may still be used by the court, if there is obstruction of investigations, if there is a fear of tampering with evidence, a fear of escape, or hiding - he continued.

12:38

Żurek:

I know you'd like to keep all citizens in custody, just so your MPs can travel to Budapest

- I know you would like to have such regulations that everyone is kept in custody, just so your MPs can travel to Budapest. That would be ideal. With immunity. Yes, I know you would like to keep all citizens in custody. These are precisely the characteristics of a totalitarian state - said Waldemar Żurek during a Sejm session.

12:39

Parliament Again Fails to Override Presidential Veto

The ruling coalition failed to secure the majority needed to re-enact the amendment to the Code of Criminal Procedure – in practice, this means that the Sejm did not re-enact the law. 244 MPs voted in favor, while 180 voted against. The 3/5 majority required for this vote was 264.

13:19

Tusk on the Vote on the Veto:

PiS is Stubborn and, Hand in Hand with the President, Will Cling Firmly to Bad Solutions.

- PiS defended the presidential veto at a loss. As you know, the presidential veto regarding changes to the code, mainly concerning the long, unending pre-trial detentions, easily imposed by Ziobro and his people, stirred a great deal of emotion. And this, as you know, aroused emotions in very diverse circles, from entrepreneurs, lawyers, human rights activists, to football fans. But PiS is stubborn and, as it turns out, here, hand in hand with the president, they will firmly stick to these bad solutions. Well, it is what it is, that’s their way - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

13:24

Tusk on information from allies:

The coming days and weeks could lead to an escalation in the Middle East.

- For several dozen hours now, I have had reason to believe, also in connection with the information we have received from our allies, that it is difficult to expect stabilization in the Middle East in the coming days. On the contrary, the coming days and weeks could lead to an escalation of this situation, so we cannot expect a radical improvement in the fuel market and that is why we decided to act swiftly, because we expect this situation to remain unstable - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

13:27

Tusk:

I Was the First Politician in Poland to Launch a Relentless Fight Against Pedophilia and Other Sex Crimes

- It is an exceptional scandal to attempt such a political exploitation of the crime of pedophilia. Nobody needs to convince me; I was the first politician in Poland to launch a relentless fight against pedophilia and other sexual offenses, particularly against minors, back when I was prime minister for the first time - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

13:29

Tusk:

In the Kłodzko Case, the perpetrator of a heinous crime received 25 years in prison. Nothing was hidden.

- In the Kłodzko case, the perpetrator of a heinous crime of pedophilia and rape received 25 years in prison. Nothing was hidden. His wife, who likely collaborated with him, although the case is pending appeal, has so far received a 6-year prison sentence – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

13:30

Tusk:

Decision on swearing in Constitutional Tribunal judges should wait until president's return

- For me, it is obvious that the decision on swearing in [Constitutional Tribunal judges] should wait until the president's return. Because perhaps he will finally decide to take this constitutional duty of his seriously, the duty of administering the oath - Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated at a press conference in the Sejm.

13:33

Tusk on PSL’s SAFE 0% proposal:

For now, there are no valid reasons to proceed with projects that have not even a shadow of a chance of funding.

- For now, there are no valid reasons to proceed with projects that do not even have a shadow of a chance of funding, considering what is happening with Glapiński, at the NBP, and with gold prices - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

13:34

Tusk:

I Only Know of One Case of Pedophilia Crime Covered Up by Politicians – and It Concerns One of the Most Important PiS Politicians

- I only know of one case of pedophilia, a pedophilia crime covered up by politicians – and it concerns one of the most important PiS politicians – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

- I will not use the name, because I don't want to make a political issue out of it, but you know very well who I am talking about, what matter I am talking about. Yes, the entire state was then involved to bury the matter – he stated.

13:42

Tusk:

You Know Exactly Why the Kłodzko Case is Being Politicized Now and How it Directly Relates to the Unfortunate Presidential Veto

- Nobody intends to hide anything. Quite the opposite. This is the harshest sentence in history, 25 years. I didn't impose it, the court did. And, as you know, this case [from Kłodzko] reached its final verdict in court quite some time ago. And you know well, including you, the person asking this question, why this case is currently being politicized and that it also had a direct connection to that unfortunate presidential veto - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

13:55

Czarzasty Expels Żurek from the Chamber:

Giving interviews is outside the parliamentary chamber.

"Minister, can you stop discussing? Minister, giving interviews is outside the parliamentary chamber," stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty, addressing Waldemar Żurek, who was giving an interview to TVP Info.

"Minister, please leave the parliamentary chamber," the Marshal of the Sejm added.

14:29

A Realistic Assessment of Russia's Policy, the Destroyer of World Order. Przydacz on the Topics Nawrocki Will Address at CPAC

- There will also be discussion [at CPAC] about current challenges, security challenges, and, as one might expect, our very factual, reliable assessment of the Russian Federation's policy, the destroyer of world order - said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- I think that especially among American conservatives, it is healthy for this approach to the Russian Federation, from the President's perspective, to resonate well, and it will certainly resonate, in order to cut through all sorts of discussions that may sometimes emerge in the American environment about a possible change in policy towards Russia. The President will certainly talk about this and will protest against such ideas - he continued.

14:42

Can a President Sign a Law While on a Plane? Przydacz: Such Technical, Simple Matters Are Absolutely Feasible

- I heard the ruling camp today, from the government side, the liberal-left, [voices] questioning, casting doubt on the possibility of signing such a law on a plane, as if they had stopped around 2015 - said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing, when asked if it was possible for the president to sign a law concerning fuel prices while on a plane or in the USA.

- For many, many years, there has been something like an electronic signature in Poland, and the President calmly possesses such instruments to be able to accept various kinds of decisions. I recommend that the government side update itself a bit and realize that Poland is no longer a backward country from the 90s, but a developed economy and its administration possesses the necessary tools - he continued.

- This shows a difference, perhaps generational, perhaps Mr. Donald Tusk has stopped in time and thinks that Poland, to quote a former foreign minister from those times, is an ugly bride for whom no one is queuing, incapable of anything - he went on to say.

- Calmly, really, such technical, simple matters are absolutely feasible, so the President can make such decisions in a formal sense anywhere, anytime - he added.

14:51

What Will Nawrocki Do with the Fuel Price Law? Przydacz: We'll See in What Form It Reaches the President's Desk

- We will see, of course, in what form the law [concerning fuel prices] reaches [the President's desk]. If this law truly concerns only energy prices, then the President has repeatedly stated that he is in favour of lowering energy prices as quickly as possible – said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- Perhaps in a moment it will turn out that the Prime Minister will attach some, I don't know, provisions protecting criminals to it, right? Because he is capable of doing such things – he continued.

- We are waiting for the signature. The President can do it at any moment, as soon as good regulations reach his desk – he added.

15:11

Przydacz:

Ukraine is Not a Terrorist State

- Ukraine is not a terrorist state; Ukraine is a state fighting for its security, its sovereignty, paying a tribute of blood. I cannot in any way endorse such words, nor will I ever try to understand or explain them. Even the issue of an election campaign does not excuse this type of language – said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

15:14

"I Warn Against Raising the Topic of Polexit'. Przydacz to Tusk

- For now, when it comes to Polexit, it's two people who use this word and desperately want to talk a lot about it – Donald Tusk and Radosław Sikorski. I don't know any other serious politicians who would realistically talk about Polexit - said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- I warn, Mr. Prime Minister, against raising the topic of Polexit. David Cameron in Great Britain also raised the topic of Brexit, because he thought he could gain some points from it. If you continue to invoke these evil spirits and bad emotions, then this self-fulfilling prophecy may indeed come true, but you, Mr. Prime Minister, will be responsible for the negative consequences - he continued.

15:23

Senate Approves Bills on Fuel Price Reductions

The Senate unanimously adopted, without amendments, the government's package concerning fuel prices – specifically, the law on excise tax reduction and on maximum prices for gasoline and diesel fuel.

15:24

Przydacz:

The Governing Coalition Trembles with Fear When Bogucki Takes the Podium

"The governing coalition trembles with fear when Minister Bogucki enters the podium and wants to change the regulations, I must say that this is exceptionally cowardly and exceptionally weak," said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

15:26

Przydacz on the election of new Constitutional Tribunal judges:

Many lawyers openly say this cannot be considered constitutional.

- Regarding the tribunal, the President will make appropriate decisions based on an analysis of the constitutionality of these actions, there are certain doubts here - said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- There are many lawyers who openly, and I agree with them, say that this cannot be considered constitutional. For two years, the functioning of the tribunal has been boycotted altogether, no judicial positions have been filled, and then they make wholesale selections of their own people in order to take control of an important body - he continued.

17:29

Czarnek:

The Unprecedented Price Hikes in Stores

- The price increases currently seen in stores are unprecedented. We are preparing for the holidays, we want to do our shopping for the holidays, just as every year we prepare for Easter breakfast, for dinner with family, and we wonder if we can afford all of this. Father, mother, and daughter approach the store shelves. The daughter asks if there will be a chocolate bunny, and the mother says: we'll see, we don't know, because on the kitchen table lie unbelievable bills for electricity and heating, which we must pay - stated Przemysław Czarnek in Wysokie Mazowieckie.

17:39

Czarnek:

We Will Restore the State to You, Ordinary Poles

- This is the state of Tusk, Civic Coalition, Polish People's Party, Civic Platform Poland 2050, and The Left. This state is not for the ordinary citizen, and we will restore the state to you, ordinary Poles, because this state is for you, and the state is yours - stated Przemysław Czarnek in Wysokie Mazowieckie.

17:47

Czarnek:

Today, this state is managed by incompetence, not a government

This state is no longer the state of the common Pole. Today, this state is managed by incompetence, not a government. This incompetence, not a government – stated Przemysław Czarnek in Wysokie Mazowieckie.

17:51

Czarnek:

There Must Be an Awakening. We Need to Chase Tusks Away

- Here, just like in all of Poland, there must be an awakening. Poles must rise up, stand up, they must demand from them – leave this government. We need to chase Tusk away - stated Przemysław Czarnek in Wysokie Mazowieckie.

17:52

Czarnek:

We Don't Want Any Polexit. We Want a Tuskexit

- We don't want any Polexit. We want a Tuskexit. Mr. Tusk, leave this government, and we will manage Poland. We will lead the Poles according to the interests of the Polish state and its beautiful nation - stated Przemysław Czarnek in Wysokie Mazowieckie.

19:35

Motyka:

Fuel Prices Should Drop by Mid-Next Week

"If the President signs this act today, then I think, together with all the adjustments related to strictly technical matters, for example, the VAT matrix by entrepreneurs, these [fuel] prices should drop by mid-next week" - said Miłosz Motyka in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach".

Shortly after this fragment of the conversation, the studio received information that the President had signed the acts reducing fuel prices.

Motyka on PSL's SAFE 0% Proposal:

We Count on Work on This Project.

- We count on work on this project, because this is a project that says "I'm checking" to the President and President Glapiński - Miłosz Motyka said on TVN24, responding to the question that "the Prime Minister, it seems, today gave a clear 'no' to work on your project, this one taken over regarding SAFE from the President".

- I am convinced of the good relations and discussions, and the effective ones between Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz and Prime Minister Donald Tusk - he continued.

Szefernaker:

The President Signs Laws Beneficial to Citizens, Especially Delayed Ones, Without Unnecessary Delay

"The government delayed important decisions for Poles regarding fuel price reductions for a few weeks. President Duda is signing laws beneficial to citizens, especially delayed ones, without unnecessary delay (even on a plane), and vetoing those that are bad, unfair, or written for political interest rather than the interest of Poles. This is how a responsible head of state operates" – wrote Paweł Szefernaker on X.

Siwiec:

It is primarily in the President's interest to quickly swear in Constitutional Tribunal judges upon his return from the USA

- We are waiting two weeks [to swear in the Constitutional Tribunal judges]. Sometimes we have waited longer. Most often, the swearing-in has been quicker, because it's not an oath. And it seems to me that it is primarily in the President's interest that upon his return from the United States, he quickly completes this formal act, so that the six chosen judges can begin their work - said Marek Siwiec in an interview with Aleksandra Pawlicka on TVP Info's "Question of the Day".

Siwiec on Bogucki:

He Quite Happily Plays the Role of a Rabbi.

- There was no boxing [from the President regarding fuel bills] here. Although when he appears, and today Minister Bogucki appeared in the Sejm, there were also some reprimands, some scoldings, looking at the Prime Minister, "Why aren't you doing this, why aren't you dealing with this, but you should be dealing with it" - Marek Siwiec said on TVP Info's "Question of the Day".

- He quite happily plays the role of a rabbi. The Prime Minister looked with an impassive face, because life was moving at a slightly different pace. Precisely at this pace, because if there was a will, especially the will of the coalition, the finance committee worked efficiently, the lower chamber worked efficiently - he continued.

Siwiec:

The Presidential Palace and PiS Are For Jailing Innocent People. We Were Against It

- Let everyone hear who is against jailing innocent people in this matter [of the amendment to the Code of Criminal Procedure], and who is for it. The Presidential Palace and PiS are for it, and we were against it - Marek Siwiec said in "Question of the Day" on TVP Info.
