- As we declared, so we have fulfilled our promise to alleviate and support Polish families during the greatest global fuel price crisis, which affects Poland, Europe, and the entire world. None of us, no entrepreneur, no Pole, no Polish family has influence over what is happening in the Middle East. But the Polish government will do everything to support Polish families in this critical moment - said Miłosz Motyka during a press conference at an Orlen station in Warsaw.

- From today, from midnight, the precise mechanism of a maximum price, a tax reduction, a VAT reduction, an excise duty reduction to the minimum level, [...] will be in effect. 1.20 PLN less per liter of diesel, 1.20 PLN less per liter of 98 octane gasoline compared to yesterday's prices - this is a fact, and this must be stated clearly. Contrary to lies, contrary to disinformation spread particularly in recent days, we have delivered what we promised Poles - he pointed out.

- "Lower fuel prices" is not a promise. It is a fact, a concrete measure that will help Poles in this difficult situation - he added.
