At 8:00 AM in Warsaw, a press conference will be held by PiS Vice-Chairman and candidate for Prime Minister, Przemysław Czarnek, PiS MPs Anna Gembicka and Piotr Uściński, Councillor Paweł Lisiecki, and representatives of tenant organizations.

At 12:00 PM, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Minister of Interior and Administration Marcin Kierwiński, Minister of Infrastructure Dariusz Klimczak, and Minister and Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Siemoniak will participate in an event announcing the opening of a new bridge in Głuchołazy for traffic.

- It all started last Friday when Prime Minister Morawiecki met with party leader Kaczyński. That's where it was decided that these talks would take place within this group, with the participation of Piotr Milowański, the Secretary-General of PiS, Szymon Szynkowski, and myself - said Paweł Jabłoński in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- I have the impression that we did everything, including Piotr Milowański, whom I assess very positively and constructively here, as well as the vast majority of our colleagues in PiS. I believe that a truly decisive majority is constructive and wants cooperation - he continued.

- Unfortunately, there is a narrow group. Narrow, but very influential, very loud, very vocal, which very much wanted this narrowing, not expansion, but narrowing. They have apparently convinced the party leader, so I must admit that they have been very effective in these backroom intrigues. This is certainly a format of political success for, for example, Jacek Sasin. He has achieved a certain success here. Is this something good for Poland? I believe not - he indicated.

- Unfortunately, there are many of these serpent tongues around the chairman. The chairman, from my experience, can defend himself quite effectively against various bad whispers, but no person is 100% immune to such things. I regret that in this case, the venom of political intrigue has prevailed, because it is bad for Poland - said Paweł Jabłoński in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- Removing Tusk from power is a necessity for Poland today. It is a tragic, harmful government that simply does not care about Polish security or Polish development. If the opposition is being broken up – and as a result of this decision from Friday, it is being broken up – then Tusk is stronger because of it, and has a greater chance of another term - he stated.

- The turning point of November, December – that’s when Mateusz Morawiecki stopped governing. Konfederacja – because that’s what Patryk Jaki was talking about, that Konfederacja grew on the alleged mistakes of Mateusz Morawiecki’s European policy – achieved a 7.6% approval rating in 2023 – Paweł Jabłoński said on Polsat News’s “Graffiti.”

- Konfederacja started to grow at a time when, precisely after the elections, Patryk Jaki, among others, began to lie very sharply, to attribute various things to Mateusz Morawiecki that did not actually happen, to accuse him of various mistakes that were not actually made, because PiS voted against all these inventions, the Green Deal, and things of that nature – he indicated.

- Jacek Kurski is simply – I'm saying this directly, he can sue me – lying [that the PiS leadership learned about the milestones from the media]. Jacek Kurski knows perfectly well what the reality was. Jacek Kurski also knows perfectly well that the decline in support for PiS was to a huge extent due to how he managed public television, how he himself is personally perceived – Paweł Jabłoński said on Polsat News's "Graffiti.".

- I joined PiS years ago, and today, are they expelling me from PiS, or perhaps from Solidarna Polska? Because I have the impression that this party has unfortunately become somewhat what Solidarna/Suwerenna Polska was. A tragedy from the perspective of opposition effectiveness, but this also doesn't exempt me from the duty of acting as an opposition MP - said Paweł Jabłoński in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- I deeply regret that today the faces of PiS are Jacek Kurski, Dariusz Matecki, that it has become such a party. I believe this is not good. I hope there will be some reflection, because this is not the direction for building a broad camp for 40% - said Paweł Jabłoński in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- At [the Laboratory of Ideas] there are people invited who are not only not associated with PiS, but who are associated with other political parties or even with completely different approaches. We even have a separate panel, a leftist perspective on social policy, because we also want to hear what the left, often considered even far-left, has to say - said Paweł Jabłoński in "Graffiti" Polsat News.

- Because on some issues, those of a worldview nature, I will probably never be able to agree with some leftists. But on social policy issues, there are certainly areas where we can cooperate, because PiS has always been a party that protected the weaker, the economically weaker, the less affluent. We can cooperate here - he stated.

- There is an element of ideological dispute there. Morawiecki wanted to play the role of a Eurosceptic, but not a Europhobe, someone who wants to paralyze everything. It seems to me he wanted to secure the KPO for Poland, but Ziobro's madness in the justice system prevented it - said Radosław Sikorski in an interview with Dominika Wielowieyska on "Poranek TOK FM".

- But the question is, if someone wants to be a moderate pro-European conservative, do they need a counterfeit for that, like Morawiecki, when they have a broad church, which is what we in Civic Coalition are - he continued.

- He was on the Economic Council, and furthermore, he was taking everything and reporting it to Kaczyński, it seems, so perception depends on the political situation. If memory serves me correctly, he even received an offer to become Minister of Finance at one point, but Kaczyński told him 'not yet' - Radosław Sikorski stated on TOK FM, when asked if Mateusz Morawiecki had been an advisor to Donald Tusk.

- So, it seems, he was a PiS mole in Donald Tusk's orbit - he continued.

- We are here together also with residents to protest against what is happening in the government. Against what has been adopted by the Council of Ministers. Namely, the provisions of the short-term rental act. This draft act, or rather the draft act as it stands, currently lacks the most important provisions – provisions that give residents control over what happens in their place of residence. It gives control to municipalities, local governments, housing communities. That’s all it’s about. We don’t want to ban anything, we just want residents, housing communities, and local governments to be able to decide whether short-term rental is possible or not in a specific location. People want to live, to live in peace, to raise children, to have a normal rest after work, and they don’t want eternal disturbances, quarrels, noises, shouts, drunks in stairwells, and who knows what else - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

- In the short-term rental act, PiS will demand, in addition to the provisions that are proposed there, the introduction of solutions thanks to which housing communities or municipalities will be able to decide to exclude the possibility of short-term rental in specific areas. Therefore, not a ban, but the ability to make that decision at the community level. This is necessary so that residents feel safe in their apartments, so that we don't turn our housing estates, our tenement houses, our apartment blocks into perpetual entertainment venues without any control - the PiS candidate for prime minister continued.

- I believe this is essential [a parliamentary club] if we want to act effectively as opposition MPs. If they remove us from PiS, then we must act effectively outside of PiS - said Paweł Jabłoński on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- The very language used by colleagues on the far-right proves their Europhobia and desire to leave the European Union, because what does it mean to be "submissive to the European Union"? Is the European Union some external body to which one can be submissive, or is it a confederation to which we belong and where each member state seeks influence, and we are doing so, I believe, effectively? Therefore, the language we use tells us a great deal about our views - said Radosław Sikorski on TOK FM.

- We do not rule it out [that more people will join us]. Several people have indicated to us, including this past week, that they strongly dislike the situation, that we are being pushed out of the party, and that they would gladly join us, but for various reasons, they don't want to confront PiS. That is his business, but in such a situation, basic principles of decency dictate stepping aside from processing a bill in which one is actually pursuing their own interests, and not the interests of ordinary tenants, residents who cannot sleep day-to-day, use their apartments normally, so an appeal to Mr. Raś - please leave this bill and let people who have nothing to do with short-term rentals process it - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

- He might as well have asked "are you for the liquidation of agricultural subsidies and infrastructure investment subsidies in Poland" - said Radosław Sikorski on TOK FM, when asked about the new version of the referendum question submitted by President Karol Nawrocki.

- This is selective treatment, this is precisely the world of a europhobe, in which some people think that the European Union exists where you have only privileges and no obligations - he continued.

- This needs to be fought for, we need to use our influence, and indeed, the European Union has set itself overly ambitious goals, and now it's a human construct that people can change, and we are changing it so that it is less burdensome for households - said Radosław Sikorski in TOK FM, when asked about the Polish government's desire to limit ETS2.

- To change this, we need a coalition of member states and European institutions, not just shouting at the European Union - he continued.

- We can even form a coalition with Donald Tusk when it comes to amendments concerning short-term rentals. If Donald Tusk would agree to support our solutions, we will vote together with Donald Tusk. It truly doesn't matter the slightest. What matters is what is good for the residents - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

- I was in the government of Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister Morawiecki, in the PiS government, from 2020 to 2023. - I fully understand that we are not ending our assistance here, but I want to emphasize that everywhere in Poland where water caused damage, we were present – firefighters, soldiers, police officers, local government, and we also tried to be in almost every place in Poland where water took people's property, and sometimes even their lives - he went on to say.

- I am proud; this bridge looks truly impressive when we compare it to the temporary bridge - he added.

"I won't cry over Law and Justice, as you might guess, but there is certainly nothing to celebrate when we see what's happening with the most important, largest opposition party. Because we would all prefer politics to look a bit different," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Głuchołazy, when asked about the split in Law and Justice.

- In the last dozen or so hours, I've learned from some PiS politicians that Mr. Morawiecki is my agent and a German agent. I truly didn't expect things to go this far - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Głuchołazy.

- One could turn all of this into a grim joke, but in reality, this isn't the first time we've witnessed such great political turmoil and chaos. I believe that in politics, people who lead to constant conflicts and such a scramble are simply dangerous - he continued.

- Considering the fact that Zbigniew Ziobro is likely hiding in the United States, I could say this is a question for a different Donald - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in Głuchołazy, when asked about the real chances of Ziobro’s extradition.

- We will, in accordance with the law, seek all available means to ensure that these politicians, who face such serious accusations, stand before a Polish court sooner or later - he continued.

- When we are dealing with fugitives, it requires good cooperation with the governments of the respective countries. As you know, after the change of government in Hungary, we have excellent cooperation with the Hungarian government on this matter, whereas we are waiting for positive signals from Washington. Will they come? I don’t know - he went on to say.

- Someone maliciously said that there was CPN, meaning lower fuel prices back then, and now we have CKN, Karol Nawrocki's prices, and unfortunately, it's a bit like that, because those 4 billion are a shame, as we really allocated them to lowering fuel prices - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Głuchołazy.

- In such crises, when fuel prices rise globally, fuel companies naturally earn more. This always happens. We proposed, not for the first time, that the state should take a tax from these extraordinary profits of the companies and finance fuel price reductions. I really don't understand why the president blocked it; it's not a veto, but de facto the effects are the same as with a veto - he continued.

- I spoke with the Minister of Finance, if it turns out that this situation is unstable again, that prices might go up again, then we will propose a solution to introduce regulated prices again, despite this blockade, for at least the last two weeks of the holidays [...] so that people do not overpay, at least for their returns - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Głuchołazy.

- We will discuss this in detail with the Minister of Finance again today - he continued.

- Today, through diplomatic channels via the Minister of Justice, a request for the extradition and temporary detention of Mr. Zbigniew Ziobro has been transmitted to the appropriate authorities of the United States of America - announced Prosecutor Anna Adamiak during a press conference.

- I have informed the Marshal of the Sejm that the PiS parliamentary group will submit a motion to supplement the Sejm presidium with our candidate. No, Marshal Elżbieta Witek has some health issues. - It was an element of the discussion on how to implement our political plan. And we came to the conclusion that it needed to be implemented through a two-lung strategy. And together with the President [Jarosław Kaczyński], we went to a conference and implemented this two-lung strategy – until the healthy lung was amputated a few months later – said Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

- I can ask: what happened that suddenly a strategy which had already brought stabilization in polls, showed some positive steps, turned out to be not worth continuing? It's a great pity – he stated.

- If I were to engage in any politics at our festival of ideas - but that won't happen. In my speech [...] there will certainly be no partisan elements, and I will strive to be inspired by new proposals and solutions - he announced.

- Please show me any event where I have organized something in Poland using ECR party funds? Because as you know, I am the head of the ECR party. Incidentally, I intend to resign from this party, I might even do it very quickly - said Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanal Zero.

- If this is a function that has been assigned to the second largest party within the ECR, meaning European Conservatives and Reformists, then our delegation - if we were to establish one - will certainly not be the second largest - he explained.

- So, it is worth acting honorably in such situations, and I will certainly do so. I will submit my resignation, unless I am asked to continue, in which case I will consider what to do next - he stated.

- In this new reality, we will certainly strive to develop two wings. We ourselves will definitely and very strongly focus on modern patriotism, on modern conservatism, but also on the identity agenda - said Mateusz Morawiecki in Kanał Zero.

- Patriotism is caring for our culture, identity, faith, respect for our history, our achievements. But patriotism must also be linked to the strength of the economy, because otherwise we will not defend our homeland's independence. Patriotism also means strong public finances, public procurement directed towards Polish companies, strong small and medium-sized Polish businesses, and the expansion of Polish capital - he described.

- But of course, at the same time, we also look at everything that evokes pride in our hearts, which is the entire grand, wonderful identity agenda, close to those forty members of our association - he continued.

- Tomorrow at 8:00 PM, meaning after the [PiS] Political Committee, I have convened a meeting of parliamentarians who are members of the association. This meeting will surely be a long, interesting, important, and stormy one, covering substantive, programmatic, conceptual, and operational aspects, because we will have to find some response, some formula, if we are expelled from the party - Mateusz Morawiecki stated on Kanał Zero.

- If we are expelled from the party, from the club, we will form our own club - said Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

Asked if a new club would be formed this week, he replied: - It is highly probable, most likely we will do so.

When pressed about the name "Rozwój Plus" (Development Plus), he responded: - That will probably be the working title.

Morawiecki as club leader? - Probably yes, but I will also put that up for discussion, because that is not the most important matter. The most important thing is that we establish ourselves correctly and discuss our action plan - he indicated.

- There are very, very many valuable people in PiS. I don't deny that anyone has good intentions. We have many friends there, by the way. Several people have also asked if they could join our association - said Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

- Talks are underway. I think one person, I can say with absolute certainty, will join. But maybe not just one person - he announced.

When asked if these 'several people' who inquired about joining the association were closer to three or nine, he replied: - Closer to four.
