At 10:00 AM, the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development will convene. The topic of the session will be "Whole-of-Government Approach in Polish Agricultural Policy – From Departmental Silos to a Joint Strategy".

The meeting will focus on inter-ministerial coordination in Polish agricultural policy and the possibility of developing a cohesive strategy covering, among other things, food security, environmental protection, public health, social policy, international trade, and European funds.

At 12:00 PM, a government session will commence. The agenda includes, among other items, a draft amendment to the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Electronic Delivery Act, as well as a draft amendment to the Trade Unions Act and the Act on Informing Employees and Consulting with Them.

President Karol Nawrocki and his spouse, Marta Nawrocka, will begin their visit to Turkey in connection with the NATO summit in Ankara.

From 6:15 PM Polish time, the welcoming ceremony for heads of state and government leaders will take place at the Presidential Palace. The schedule includes the Presidential Couple being welcomed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his spouse Emine Erdoğan. Later, at 7:10 PM, the Presidential Couple will participate in a state dinner.

Tuesday also marks the first day of the Monetary Policy Council's July session.

"The President Trzaskowski's decision was that when he sees that this supervision simply didn't work, after checking individual steps, he determined that he was dismissing those highest in the city's management hierarchy" – said Adam Szłapka in the "Piasecki's Conversation" program on TVN24.

- The Prime Minister has given the Minister of Health and the leadership of the National Health Fund (NFZ) very serious tasks, and meetings will be held today in this regard - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24, when asked about the future of the Minister of Health and the head of the NFZ.

- The Prime Minister will meet with the Minister, I think he will also meet with both the Minister and the NFZ leadership. I think that following previous meetings, both the Ministry of Health and the National Health Fund have been working and preparing various solutions in this area. - I am not the leader of the other parties, so I cannot demand on their behalf. The other parties have their own chairpersons, their own leaders, and I know from conversations with them that some of them do not want to talk to the President - he added.

- This is a decision that is consulted with allies, including the Americans - said Adam Szłapka in TVN24, referring to the issue of transferring Patriot missiles to Ukraine.

- The president knew about all such decisions - he continued, when asked if the decision was consulted with the president.

- He certainly didn't protest in this regard, that's what security committee meetings are for - he went on to say, when pressed on whether he "authorized it and gave the green light, or simply found out.".

- Of course, I asked about it [whether the President knew about the transfer of Patriot missiles to Ukraine]. I will not quote in detail how my meeting and conversation proceeded, but I was generally authorized by the President to answer such a question, that the government does not consult with the President on transferring arms to Ukraine and that it does not inform in a full, transparent, and understandable way - said Krzysztof Bosak on "Gość Radia ZET".

- If I have to choose between believing the Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak and the President - I believe the President, because actually since yesterday it is clear that the Deputy Prime Minister lied - said Krzysztof Bosak on "Gość Radia ZET".

- In March, he provided information that we are not transferring Patriots to Ukraine, and yesterday he stated that we are transferring them, as the Polish state, that they are transferring them. So in my opinion, between March and July, it is simply crystal clear that the Deputy Prime Minister was misleading public opinion, and his credibility in my eyes is now simply very low - he indicated.

- It is visible that he simply does not hesitate [...] to mislead public opinion, and when it comes out, he puts on a brave face and we move on. This is, in my opinion, destructive for the state - he assessed.

- You’d have to be an idiot not to understand the fundamental differences that have occurred over these 4 years. Poland’s interest must always accompany us. What was Poland’s interest at the time when the Russians were approaching Kyiv and it seemed they would occupy Ukraine in a matter of a dozen or so days? The interest was for Ukraine to stand, because a rampaging Russia, which would have occupied Ukraine and taken over that state, would have become a mortal danger to us – stated Przemysław Czarnek in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News’s “Graffiti.”

- Ukraine was completely different then, the war was completely different, and Russia was completely different. Today, after 4 years, everything has changed. Russia is somewhat weaker, the Ukrainians are at a different point in the war – he continued.

- This is also a different Ukraine. For centuries, it has been important for our statesmen to have some buffer against Russia. For centuries, perhaps for decades. And it has happened, there is Ukraine, there is Belarus, it is in our interest so that we do not border directly with Russia. However, we do not want a Ukraine that is hostile towards Poland - stated Przemysław Czarnek in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- Meanwhile, for about 2 years now, Ukraine has been positioning itself very hostilely towards Poland, disregarding Polish interests, the state thanks to which it still exists at all. The behavior of Volodymyr Zelenskyy towards Poland for a long time has been scandalous, and we all know it - he continued.

- There will be no joint victory. The Confederation is going into the elections independently and is an alternative to PiS, Civic Platform, PSL, The Left, and their style of doing politics, which from our perspective has very serious flaws. Their share in parliament should be reduced, and the share of new people that the Confederation will bring in should be increased - said Krzysztof Bosak in "Gość Radia ZET".

- The President's priorities for this summit are, of course, maintaining the best possible transatlantic relations [...] we expect, of course, the best possible state of these relations between Europe and the United States, but we also expect, concurrently, greater activity from European allies, for example, in the process of allocating funds to the military budget - said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- What is also important is the firm stance of the North Atlantic Alliance towards the threat posed by the Russian Federation, so it is clear that the President will expect the North Atlantic Pact organization to once again identify Russia as a direct threat to Euro-Atlantic security - he continued.

- These are three fundamental points: the highest possible arms spending, a good state of transatlantic relations and caring for these relations, and thirdly, of course, identifying Russia as a direct threat - he went on to say.

"It is also no secret to you that the President will expect NATO infrastructure present in Europe to develop," said Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

"Our goal is also to expand NATO infrastructure. On the one hand, these are obviously bases, but on the other hand, it is also infrastructure, for example, for transmission, when it comes to pipelines," he continued.

- Regarding this matter, the head of the National Security Bureau published a statement yesterday stating that the decision on this matter was made at the level of the Council of Ministers; the President was not consulted, nor was the National Security Bureau consulted - he continued, when asked if the President had been informed about the transfer of missiles to Ukraine.

- On February 17th and March 24th, information concerning donations to Ukraine was presented at the Security Committee in the presence of representatives from the National Security Bureau - said Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

That's what the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland said then, and now, when the matter concerns missiles, not Patriots, not launchers, he almost dresses it up as high treason - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News.

- How can this be called, if not solely reasoning within party logic, destroying something that still prevails in many countries, which is simply the national community. They are destroying the Polish national community because they see how their electorate is simply flowing to Braun and they don't know what to do with it - he continued.

- It is in Poland's interest for Ukraine to fight and win. [...] Either we will support Ukraine in the fight against Russia, or we will have Russia on our border - he continued.

- I am terribly disgusted that the national community is being destroyed, that nonsense is being spouted, one could almost say that some kind of 'Jester of the Year' competition has started here with such stupid statements - he continued.

- Mr. Budanov, if you consider prayer in church a provocation, you should really reconsider what you're saying. Because it is precisely from Mass, from prayer, that Poles will be starting in many places in Poland - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News.

- What happened in Ukraine on July 11th was the apogee [...] 99 towns were attacked simultaneously as part of a massive operation. It was genocide with particular cruelty, and Mr. Budanov, if he doesn't know what happened there, he should kneel in an open field, because most of those who perished have no graves, and that is what we as Poles are demanding today - he continued.

- We have Senior Marshal Marek Sawicki leading a bill that has already passed its first reading, which largely addresses these ailments, and one could even say the pathologies of the healthcare system – said Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News.

- Firstly, it transfers the contribution from ZUS to NFZ, secondly, it creates a network of 49 hospitals which will be leading hospitals for those subordinate to them. This will eliminate various pathologies, such as having the same departments, both empty, in hospitals located, for example, 15 km apart – he continued.

- In my political opinion, if they were to be dismissed, they would already be - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News, when asked if the Minister of Health and the head of the National Health Fund should be dismissed.

- In my opinion, if there is a certain period that the prime minister has given them, then I think dismissal would be the simplest solution. Now let them prepare solutions and simply implement them - he continued.

"President Trzaskowski, in my opinion, has reacted quickly since the situation came to light." Piotr Zgorzelski said on Polsat News.

"From the moment it was revealed, truly, when it comes to his personal actions, you cannot accuse him of regretting the people who should bear responsibility. He is simply proceeding with these resignations, in my opinion, to the extent he should." he continued.
