In turn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski begins a two-day visit to Sweden today, where he will participate in an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Helsingborg.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz confirmed on 'Kropka nad i' that the presence of American troops will not decrease, following discussions with both Heghseth and General Mahoney - stated Rafał Leśkiewicz on TVN24's 'Rozmowa Piaseckiego'.

- Above all, these political actions currently taking place are the result of President Nawrocki's good relations with Donald Trump. Because, I will remind you – on September 3rd, the President received assurances from President Trump about not reducing American forces in Poland. Confirmation of this, as well as discussions regarding the presence of American troops in Poland, also occurred on May 3rd, involving both presidents. This provided an opportunity to manage the informational chaos that emerged and the uncoordinated signals coming from the American administration - he continued.

- A few amendments proposed by the President [to the third version of the cryptocurrency bill] are missing. Minister Bogucki spoke about this yesterday during a Senate session. These are also key, fundamental issues concerning the regulation of the cryptocurrency market itself - stated Rafał Leśkiewicz on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" (Piasecki's Interview).

- We do not have the final version of the bill yet. We are waiting to see what happens in the Senate. I hope the committee will adopt the President's amendments to this bill - he continued.

- I think there was no surprise, but it's a decision [by the Senate regarding the referendum] that only confirms this government actually has little to do with reality, with facts, and with the nation - stated Zbigniew Bogucki in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- Why do I say that? It wasn't a political vote, yesterday there were tens, hundreds of thousands of people on Polish streets, with white and red flags, with Solidarity flags, and Poland is not the walls of the Senate. Poland is those people who were on the street yesterday and wanted a vote, wanted to express themselves as a nation, as a sovereign, that they do not want this climate madness, they don't want to pay for the ideological decisions of Brussels officials, that they want a strong economy, strong agriculture, so that Poland and Europe are strong - he continued.

- I am convinced that here we will have a solution that will be good for Poland, meaning that American soldiers will remain on Polish territory, at least in unchanged numbers. The government is not helping, the Prime Minister is not helping. These statements by the Prime Minister over the last few weeks, attacking the US, as if undermining their allied credibility, do not help the President or Poland - stated Zbigniew Bogucki on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

"Poland strongly condemns the actions of Israeli authorities towards the activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla, including Polish citizens, detained by the Israeli army." - wrote Radosław Sikorski on X.

"I have instructed the immediate summoning of the Israeli Chargé d'Affaires in Warsaw to convey our outrage and demand an apology for the extremely inappropriate behavior of a member of the Israeli government. We demand the immediate release of Polish citizens and their humane treatment in accordance with international standards." - he continued in his post.

"The fact that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised Polish citizens against traveling to Israel and Palestine does not mean we accept the violation of their rights and dignity. The safety of our citizens remains our highest priority." - stated the head of the MFA.

"Our consuls, acting in conjunction with the consular services of countries whose representatives were also on board the boats intercepted by Israeli forces, are on site. We expect permission for meetings with the detainees as soon as possible." - he emphasized.

- There's always some organization behind this type of action. This organization always has some political goals. I don't see how it could be a good initiative when the Confederation, PiS, and some local activists associated with a candidate who has been trying to be the mayor of Krakow for many, many years, and has never succeeded, are cooperating together. - If we want to talk about NATO 3.0, if we want to talk about new inter-allied behavior in the new security realities defined by the war and aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as other American priorities, we must consolidate our defense capabilities within the European Union differently - he went on to say.

- I have the impression, I understand, that Marshal Hołownia cannot find his footing in this new reality. He was the Speaker of the Sejm, now he is the Deputy Speaker. This is a significant change, however. I'm not saying [that he is frustrated]. Each of us, if every change, I've also made changes in my life, every change requires time for adaptation, I would put it that way - stated Marcin Kierwiński on TOK FM.

"Glory to the Senate, for the first time I have the conviction that quickly, without unnecessary suffering, a signal was sent to the people 'let's not go crazy'. Asking these kinds of questions is a form of hypocrisy where there's truly nothing to say" – Marek Siwiec said on PR1, when asked about the Senate's rejection of the president's motion to hold a referendum.

"'Do you want to have cheap electricity, a new car [...] and also for the weather to be good and for there to be no water shortage in the Utrata river' [...] yes, that's a very good question. And further, linking it with the policy [...] of the European Union [...] which is being revised [...] is a form of exceptional perfidy and insolence" – he continued.

"The Senate acted like men. [...] Decisively, immediately, and they didn't dilly-dally with this decision" – he added.

- Poland is a leader, an absolute leader of NATO's eastern flank, but Estonia, along with other Baltic states, fulfills all allied commitments imposed on NATO states in The Hague; we are reaching 5% this year, we are not waiting until 2035 - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Tallinn.

- Today, during the security conference, I clearly stated that the year 2030 is the absolute last moment to reach 5% expenditure on armaments, not 2035. If we wait, Europe will not gain the capabilities, will not gain the capacity for self-defense to the extent required by contemporary threats - he continued.

- We will make joint purchases with Estonia within the SAFE program, in addition to Piorun missiles, we are working on other military equipment, especially that produced in Poland - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Tallinn.

- It is clear that this program is beneficial for Poland, not only because Poland receives its money from the European Union, but because other countries, like Estonia, will spend in the Polish defense industry - he continued.

- I believe that overall, this interest rate will be lower, because historical conditions show that. And even today, there is no better interest rate than the one at the Commission's level, because unfortunately, Poland still has higher ones - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Tallinn, when asked if the rising SAFE interest rates are concerning.

- European and European Commission ratings are better. If Polish ratings improve, we will utilize our credit line - he continued.

- Both Republicans and Democrats are speaking clearly: Poland, as a model ally, cannot lose from decisions regarding the withdrawal of 5,000 soldiers from Europe - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Tallinn.

- Officially, I can announce that the Visegrad Group is back on the right track. With our significant involvement, but also thanks to the changes that have occurred in Hungary. This year, we will host a meeting of the Speakers of the German and French Parliaments in Poland. We have already had a meeting with the Speakers of all the Baltic states, namely Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press briefing in the Sejm.

- In addition, there are meetings with the Speakers of the Parliaments of Sweden and Finland, as these have already taken place - he continued.

- It will be by the end of May, I think it's a matter of the coming days when we will be able to calmly announce that we already possess F-35s on Polish soil and in Polish skies - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Tallinn, when asked about the F-35 aircraft.

- Of course, the process of them being ready for duty will still be ongoing, but they are already in the service of the Republic of Poland's air forces. In a few dozen hours, they will already be in Poland. Everything is going according to plan, and by the end of May, they will be redeployed to air bases in Poland - he continued.

- It's either the end of this week or the beginning of next - he added.

- I'm too old a bird in politics to be flying in such spheres. Whoever deserves to be a Deputy Prime Minister should become a Deputy Prime Minister. These are decisions for Prime Minister Tusk, and before that, they are discussed within the coalition. For now, there is no such topic on the coalition agenda.
