At 9:00 AM, PiS Vice-Chairman Przemysław Czarnek will participate in a demonstration of support for Tomasz Sakiewicz in front of the National Prosecutor's Office.

At 11:30 AM, a press conference with the participation of Przemysław Czarnek will be held by Sigismund's Column in Warsaw. Afterwards, the PiS Vice-Chairman will take part in a Solidarity demonstration.

At 12:00 PM, the Speakers of the Sejm and Senate will participate in a ceremonial roll call on the occasion of the Marshal's Guard Day, in the square in front of the parliamentary committee building. Speeches by Włodzimierz Czarzasty and Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska are planned.

At 2:30 PM, a press conference will be held in Łask with the participation of, among others, the Minister of Sport, Jakub Rutnicki. The topic is the announcement of the results of the ministerial program for the construction of full-size football pitches.

On Wednesday, General Christopher Mahoney, Deputy Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, will arrive in Poland.

Minister of Education Barbara Nowacka will be in London on Wednesday, where she is participating in the Education World Forum 2026.

Magyar in Poland

On Wednesday, Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar will meet with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, President Karol Nawrocki, as well as the Speakers of the Sejm and Senate. This visit to Poland marks the Hungarian Prime Minister's first foreign trip after taking office.

A welcome for the Hungarian Prime Minister by Prime Minister Donald Tusk is planned for 10:00 AM in Warsaw. A meeting between the two politicians is scheduled to begin at 10:15 AM.

A delegation meeting is scheduled for 10:45 AM, followed by a press conference of the Prime Ministers of Poland and Hungary at 11:20 AM.

At 12:00 PM, President Karol Nawrocki will meet with the Hungarian Prime Minister at the Belvedere Palace.

After 12:50 PM, a meeting between Włodzimierz Czarzasty and Péter Magyar will begin in the office of the Speaker of the Sejm, and at 1:05 PM, the Hungarian Prime Minister and his delegation will be received by Senate Speaker Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.

At 3:05 PM, Donald Tusk and Péter Magyar are scheduled to walk from the Golden Gate to the Uphagen House in Gdańsk, where a meeting between the two prime ministers and Lech Wałęsa is planned for 3:35 PM.

At 4:25 PM, the Prime Ministers of Poland and Hungary will proceed to the Artus Court in Gdańsk.

- We know that [Zbigniew Ziobro] is in the United States - we have no doubts about that - said Waldemar Żurek in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' 'Graffiti'.

- There are various pieces of information regarding where [Zbigniew Ziobro] resides, at what address, but I do not wish to disclose such facts as they are not confirmed. I would like to learn this primarily from the Americans, who have spread some kind of protective umbrella over Zbigniew Ziobro. And I would like him to stand before a Polish court - said Waldemar Żurek on Polsat News's 'Graffiti'.

- Zbigniew Ziobro knows how to try to achieve an extradition, as he did with Mr. [Edward] Mazur when he was Minister of Justice, and those years-long attempts ended in nothing; the extradition was unsuccessful. So, sarcastically speaking, perhaps Zbigniew Ziobro knows how to make sure an extradition fails and will do everything to ensure that happens - said Waldemar Żurek in the "Graffiti" program on Polsat News.

"We have a prepared extradition request, but we are also aware of how federal courts in the United States operate. Experience tells us that even though the extradition agreement does not require a legally binding decision on the application of pre-trial detention, American courts often say: 'Show us that this detention is legally binding'" - said Waldemar Żurek in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

"We are waiting. Maybe it will be faster [than in September], I don't know. We are taking all legal steps to somehow expedite the consideration of the case [regarding pre-trial detention]" - he added.

- I wrote a letter to the president of the court under administrative supervision [regarding the appeal by the defense attorneys against the court's decision to impose pre-trial detention on Zbigniew Ziobro], I have the right to do so. But I am also aware of how much the courts have been destroyed - said Waldemar Żurek in "Graffiti" Polsat News.

- Warsaw courts are in a very difficult situation, the most difficult in the country, and this is the result of eight years of Minister Ziobro's actions. He brought the system to a state of inefficiency, so paradoxically, he is now benefiting from this inefficiency - he stated.

- However, in this letter, I asked the court to do everything procedurally possible... But please also remember that we cannot use any extraordinary measures, any conversations or games. This is exactly what Ziobro's representatives are waiting for, for us to make a mistake, to cut corners somewhere, they will then make him a martyr - he indicated.

- Of course, I don't rule out such a situation [a trip to the USA]. I work very hard in the prosecutor's office and the ministry, so I avoid trips that would be unnecessary excursions for anyone. However, we certainly must familiarize the American public with how the Ziobro case looks, that Ziobro is not a martyr, and that there are serious embezzlements there - said Waldemar Żurek in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

"Today's Solidarity protest [...] is proof that we live in a democratic state where everyone can protest and express their views," said Piotr Zgorzelski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia ZET."

"Here, if I remember correctly, one of the points is the Green Deal. I would direct this protest to Nowogrodzka Street because that's where this project originated. Incidentally, the EU Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Wojciechowski, mentioned it, promoting it as a plan and program of Law and Justice," he continued.

"The Green Deal is a creation of PiS, so dear members of Solidarity, we invite you to Nowogrodzka Street," he added.

- We definitely need to inform the American public opinion about the Ziobro case, that Ziobro is not a martyr, that there are serious embezzlements there – Waldemar Żurek said in “Graffiti” on Polsat News.

When asked if this referred to an information campaign using billboards or the press, he replied: - No, we will definitely not spend public money, because Ziobro is the same citizen as Kowalski, whom we are charging. And believe me, it would again be, in my opinion, our tactical mistake if we were to unleash some kind of information campaign concerning Ziobro, because it would be used against us.

- There are American media, so I think that in those important media we should give appropriate interviews, information that would talk about the facts. The American public opinion is sensitive to several topics: to surveillance, and here there is the Pegasus issue [...], to the embezzlement of public money. There, a politician suspected of this essentially ends their political career – he continued.

- Today's Pentagon statement largely dispels the doubts that are justified among our countrymen, as it speaks of delaying the deployment of troops to Poland, which refutes the theory of withdrawal - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Radio ZET.

- It speaks of preparing a new plan for the basing of US troops in Europe, and now pay attention, which is already to be consulted with Poland, claims one of the closest associates of the Secretary of War. And this is the result of the conversation Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz had with Pete Hegseth yesterday afternoon - he continued.

- Fortunately, there will be no reduction of American troops in Poland. In my opinion, everything will end up, you know how? With more than before - he continued.

- I want prosecutors in Poland to be independent and for there to even be a dispute sometimes between the Prosecutor General and the prosecutors conducting the investigation. However, I will certainly not exert any pressure on them - he continued.

- It may certainly happen that Ziobro gets this iron-clad letter, comes, makes a big show, and then disappears on us again and we won't be able to prosecute him - he pointed out.

"This is not how matters are handled, firstly, and secondly, from what I know, the councillor, I might be mistaken, but she probably claims that this message has been somehow manipulated, hacked" - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Radio ZET, when asked about the accidental publication by Agnieszka Stolarczyk, a PSL councillor, of a private message to Marshal Adam Strózik requesting a job for her husband.

"Of course, such a method is unacceptable, but it's not how we do things, and probably in no other party should matters be handled in this way either" - he continued.

- Today, first and foremost, if they want to do such things, they must have an ally in the person of the finance minister - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Radio ZET, when asked if Szymon Hołownia and Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz "have an ally" in the Polish People's Party (PSL) regarding raising the second tax threshold.

- If a party that forms the government does not have an ally in the Ministry of Finance for such a project, it means that this project must wait for better times in terms of the budget's financial condition - he continued.

- And when you said yesterday on Polish Television that Ziobro is in Washington State, is that true? - asked Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- We had such initial information that he is in Washington State - replied Waldemar Żurek.

- But in Washington State or in Washington D.C.? Because those are two different places on the map - the host pressed.

- I had information that it was the state. We are verifying this information - the minister responded.

- Okay, because these are places separated by several thousand kilometers. Besides, there are probably over 80 of these Washingtons in the United States, so these leads... - the journalist continued.

- We are talking about the one that is most famous.

- The most famous one is the city, the capital.

- I don't want to reveal. Yesterday we had a meeting with Minister Siemoniak and Minister Kierwiński, so we are investigating this.

- We are discussing this within the coalition, and indeed, there must be consensus on what legal instruments the state can use to exert legal pressure on Mr. Święczkowski, to show him that this is not his private fiefdom - said Waldemar Żurek in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- We have an ongoing criminal investigation, and for now, this criminal investigation is ongoing generally, but I know that employees of the Tribunal are also being questioned. Mr. Święczkowski must be aware that while he may break the law at his own discretion, those he orders to break the law, who do not have immunity, must be aware that it may eventually lead to charges being filed - he pointed out.

Asked whether the scenario of police presence in the Constitutional Tribunal is ruled out, he replied: - No scenario is ruled out. I am primarily glad that these judges, this entire group of six, are united in what they are doing. We notice this, and I am convinced that we will manage to rebuild this Tribunal, but unfortunately, this requires time.

- This is something that is succeeding, and this Plan B [regarding the National Council of the Judiciary] is beginning to work. So I am truly in a joyful mood today, because I see that after many years we will have an independent body, as stipulated by our constitution - said Waldemar Żurek in "Graffiti" Polsat News.

- Regarding the interrogators, we are dealing with [...] Mr. Woźniak, his colleague Ślepokura, who have been committing criminal offenses for two years and will be held responsible for it - said Przemysław Czarnek during a demonstration of support for Tomasz Sakiewicz.

- Here, from the prosecutor's office at Postępu Street, we can directly state: these individuals who are illegally occupying this building today have been committing criminal offenses of the highest caliber for two years, and today is a continuation of these offenses. They are already aware of this, because they are lawyers - he continued.

- Whatever they are, they are lawyers. They are fully aware that today they are people committing criminal offenses, and this is also their status today during this interrogation, which President Tomasz Sakiewicz will be undergoing shortly - he further stated.

- The Prime Minister is the type of person who has specific expectations and expects results. And I absolutely understand his role. But please also remember that I took on this position with full awareness of how difficult this job is and that I might be a buffer - said Waldemar Żurek in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- If the Prime Minister decides that my mission is over, I will not beg him, I will just thank him for the opportunity to cooperate with him. However, I am doing everything that is required of me and I have plans that keep me busy for the coming months and years - he continued.

- Poland's offensive is underway to strengthen Polish-American, transatlantic relations, for the building of a strong partnership. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak with Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, this was our next conversation - Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said at a press conference.

- Today's meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Armed Forces, the second-highest-ranking U.S. soldier, a four-star general. General Mahoney was here at the Ministry of National Defence just moments ago. We discussed Polish-American relations and our strategic partnership together with General Kukuła and Ambassador Rose - he communicated.

- Yesterday and today, I have been assured once again that Poland is a model ally. It is an extremely important partner, if not the most important partner of the United States in Europe, that it fulfills all expectations for building a strong alliance, investing in security, taking responsibility for the security of Europe, the eastern flank of NATO, its own country, and its ability for self-defense – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference after a meeting with Ambassador Tom Rose and General Christopher Mahoney, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

- From the very first day these press reports appeared, I was saying, calming the situation, that there is no decision to reduce the involvement of American troops in Poland, nor the involvement of the United States in building Poland's security. And this was confirmed yesterday. The statements we issued and that we gave in the last few days, all of them were confirmed yesterday and have been confirmed by the American side – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- We are pursuing a rational, calm policy of cooperation. Not through emotions, not through one-day events, but strategic. And no amount of informational noise that sometimes arises will disrupt this relationship - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- Decisions made in the United States and their consequences may temporarily delay the deployment of US forces in Poland. Temporarily - meaning exactly what we said, that no decision has been made to reduce, only a temporary halt - he emphasized.

"I thank all centers of power. The entire government is involved in this. Thanks to the President, to the National Security Bureau, because here there is a common goal, common coordination, action. We speak with one voice. The presence of American troops, our strategic partnership and alliance are a value to us, they are a guarantee and they are the future," said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- The process of reorganizing American troops in Europe is ongoing. We are now at the stage of planning a new model for the deployment of American forces. Poland is involved and has assurances that it will not suffer any losses as a result of this planning, and may even gain, for example, a permanent presence. However, as we are discussing this, I cannot provide a definitive statement on how it will ultimately look, because this planning process within the US Army has simply not yet concluded - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- This war, Russia's aggression against Ukraine, makes the threat regarding other borders truly real. - I want to reiterate this emphatically once more. Today, fortunately, I am no longer alone. The Russo-Ukrainian war, Russia's aggressive policy towards Ukraine and its neighbors, can lead, and in the near future, to situations where a firm reaction will be necessary - he continued.

- Tomasz Sakiewicz appeared at the prosecutor's office upon summons, he was questioned as a witness. The questioning took place as part of an investigation into irregularities in the Justice Fund, specifically concerning obstruction of proceedings to facilitate a suspect's avoidance of criminal liability, primarily through assistance in escape - Przemysław Nowak stated at a press conference.

- Tomasz Sakiewicz gave testimony, and this procedure was formally completed correctly. However, he did not answer most of the questions, citing journalistic privilege. He also made extra-procedural statements for the record, entirely unrelated to the subject of this proceeding; in effect, statements of a political nature - he continued.

- For several days now, we have had official information that Zbigniew Ziobro, who is a suspect, left Europe on May 9th. He flew from Milan to the United States, to New York by air. He used a visa, and I quote here, for a "member of foreign media" - said Przemysław Nowak at a press conference.

- If the suspect Zbigniew Ziobro were sought by a European Arrest Warrant, which we have been requesting from the very beginning, since February 10th, then this kind of departure would have been impossible. If someone tried to leave Europe, the Schengen area, in this manner, they would have been detained - he continued.

- Given that Zbigniew Ziobro was not internationally wanted [...] there were no grounds for his detention, which does not mean that Zbigniew Ziobro is a free man. He is a suspect, he is being pursued in Poland, and assisting a suspect wanted in Poland by a warrant in evading criminal responsibility, including escape, is a crime - said Przemysław Nowak at a press conference.

"President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda received the Prime Minister of Hungary, Péter Magyar, at the Belvedere Palace", the Presidential Chancellery informed.

"The main topics of the first meeting between the President of the Republic of Poland and the Prime Minister of Hungary were Polish-Hungarian relations, including economic cooperation, as well as support for Hungary's efforts to gain independence from Russian gas. Furthermore, issues of regional security and deepening cooperation between the two states within regional formats: the Visegrad Group, the Bucharest Nine, and the Three Seas Initiative were discussed", it was noted in a statement on X.

- They face a penalty of life imprisonment, the minimum sentence is 8 years, this is a very serious crime - said Przemysław Nowak at a press conference, when asked about the detained individuals suspected of espionage for Russia.

- In this case, we have, in fact, several years of activity, lasting in the case of some suspects since 2019, of various kinds, sometimes under the guise of military, paramilitary training, while all these activities were carried out on behalf of Russian intelligence - he continued.

- Various behaviors, spreading pro-Russian propaganda, disinformation, preparing for acts of sabotage, as well as gathering information within typical intelligence operations, i.e., something that is strictly carried out by intelligence services, for example, about the deployment of NATO troops - he continued.

- The fact that the prosecutor summoned him today as a witness means that there is no material to press charges against him today - said Przemysław Nowak at a press conference, when asked if Tomasz Sakiewicz could face charges in the near future.

- This thread of the proceedings is new, it may be separated into a separate investigation. To answer precisely: it absolutely cannot be ruled out, but there are no grounds for it at this time - he continued.

- Just as the President has the right to submit a referendum proposal, the Senate also has the right to consider such a proposal, either positively or negatively - said Piotr Zgorzelski in an interview with Marek Tejchman on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.
