Prime Minister Donald Tusk will participate in the 8th summit of the European Political Community.

At 7:25 AM Polish time, a welcome by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled, followed at 7:30 AM by participation in a coordination meeting concerning Ukraine.

At 8:45 AM, the head of the Polish government will take part in the opening ceremony, at 9:00 AM a family photo is planned, and at 9:30 AM – a plenary session.

At 11:20 AM, Donald Tusk will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The final item on the agenda is participation in the Core Group of Support to Armenia.

At 12:00 PM in Warsaw, President Karol Nawrocki will attend the Central Commemorations of Firefighter's Day. During the ceremony, the President will present generals' promotions, state decorations, and Polish flags to officers of the State Fire Service.

- In the evening, on the National Day of the Third of May, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, held a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump - informed the Chancellery of the President.

- Andrzej Duda thanked the American leader for his engagement and contribution to the release of Andrzej Poczobut - it was noted.

- The Presidents also discussed the current security situation. An important topic of the conversation concerned issues related to the presence of American troops in Europe. - Politically and ideologically, I am in PiS and I am working, in the context of the coalition, for the unity of our party, because I believe a split would be a bad thing - stated Adam Bielan in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- The departure of two MPs, which has been discussed for many weeks, represents the departure of 1% of the parliamentary composition. As for associations, many such associations operate, have operated, and will probably continue to operate. - The main political goal for Jarosław Kaczyński's party, PiS, was winning the presidential election. "It also shows how weak human nature is, that for certain profits, because after all, this diploma from Collegium Humanum allowed, especially the MBA diplomas, to sit on supervisory boards, there was gigantic money. In the case of Marshal Hołownia, it is a different accusation. Studies are a certain certificate of knowledge, skills, a certain higher level of education. Not everyone has to have it, it's not a shame not to have higher education, it's a shame to try to buy it," she continued.

"In politics, there are always difficult moments, for me the vote on the vote of no confidence towards Ministers Hennig-Kloska and Sobierańska-Grenda was not a test of loyalty, it was known that Marshal Hołownia would vote on the side of the October 15 coalition, because he is simply a part of it, and here I would not look for connections," she added, when asked about Szymon Hołownia's suggestions that the issue is resurfacing at deliberate moments (a test of coalition loyalty, a change in the position of the Marshal of the Sejm).

- Trump is the first president in decades, I find it hard to find another American president in recent history who has much more sympathy for Poland than for Germany, and we should leverage this. Not to weaken Germany in Washington, because that is not our task, but so that Poland does not lose out from the changes that have been prepared for many months - stated Adam Bielan in the "Piasecki Conversation" on TVN24.

- Karol Nawrocki, I was a witness to this, for instance, in September of last year, he held a conversation about increasing the number of American troops in our country. Donald Tusk, with his subsequent Twitter outbursts, and I remind you that 3 years ago he officially accused Trump at an election rally of acting as an agent, that for 30 years Trump supposedly worked for the Russians, he has never retracted those words, never apologized, so Tusk is doing something exactly the opposite - he continued.

- Last year, the Episcopal Conference alleged that this part [of health education] concerning sexual health was not in order; for the rest, they had no reservations, saying "a necessary subject" - stated Barbara Nowacka on Polsat News, when asked about the critical words of Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda regarding mandatory health education.

- It turns out that it wasn't about elements of sexual health, but about a brawl. And with these words, they are reminding us that they are not concerned with health education, they are concerned with a political brawl - she continued.

- Another bishop does not specify what he is after, but clearly states that they will protest in order to function somehow, in order to live, and they are constantly taking revenge because there is one religion class, held during the first or last lesson, not counted towards the average, which I actually changed - she went on to say.

- It seems to me that the main problem is that we quote such words, that they function in public space, and that the Church does nothing about it - said Barbara Nowacka in Polsat News, when asked about the words of Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski: "the teaching of history, the teaching of the Polish language, geography and all important subjects directly influencing the shaping of identity are being cut out. They want to make our youth the same as Hitler wanted: to teach only addition and subtraction, so that a spineless mass emerges to work on, today, German asparagus fields.".

Jędraszewski is once again the face of the Church, and I think this is also very harmful to the Church and to people for whom faith is important. - The President is wrong. The Constitution must be respected above all, because what guarantee is there that after any potential change – which, I announce right away, will not happen because there is no constitutional majority. I am sure of it, I can bet anyone. After the next elections, there still won't be a constitutional majority – said Anna Maria Żukowska in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on 'Gość Radia ZET'.

- With the members of the [new constitution council, appointed by the president], who, well, the average age is 70, so it's unlikely to be a new constitution, but an old constitution - said Anna Maria Żukowska on 'Gość Radia ZET'.

When asked if she had anything against older, experienced people, she replied: - I object to it being a completely single-generation body.

- I have one piece of advice for the president: Please read, understand, and uphold the Constitution - Barbara Nowacka stated on Polsat News.

- Nawrocki is after power. In the '25 campaign, one of PiS's arguments for why people should vote for Nawrocki was: "Let's not give all power to one place, power needs to be dispersed among various political circles." - she continued.

- Nawrocki won, and what does he say? "No, power in one pair of hands, I'm not specifying whose," but – implicitly – preferably in Nawrocki's hands, because he sees the prospect of four, and he's hoping for even more years - she went on to say.

- Simply put, it's not about the Constitution, it's not about Poland; it's about Nawrocki understanding that he doesn't have the kind of power he feels he wants to have, but he won't have it, because this very balance between the president and the prime minister is necessary - she added.

- This council [for a new constitution] is unnecessary. Because it's a waste of time, knowing that there is no constitutional majority to change the constitution - said Anna Maria Żukowska on "Gość Radia ZET".

- The President is not there to govern. [...] Not at all. The Presidency in Poland isn't a position that allows for governing, and President Nawrocki seems to think he's there to govern. The President's role includes, among other things, signing what comes from the government - said Barbara Nowacka on Polsat News.

- We do not want to change the constitution with people like Julia Przyłębska, who have broken this constitution - said Anna Maria Żukowska on "Gość Radia ZET".

- There is also Professor Legutko [on the Council for a New Constitution], known for his conservative views. There is Ms. Anna Łabno from Ordo Iuris. Generally, I see that if such a body were to change something in the constitution, it would lean more towards divorce, towards an abortion ban, towards the mandatory placement of crosses everywhere - she stated.

- We [as the Left] will certainly not sit on any body [the Council for a New Constitution] together with Mrs. Julia Przyłębska. This will not happen - said Anna Maria Żukowska on "Gość Radia ZET".

- There was a conversation about us [as The Left] not entering any council with the President, and that's all. This was a decision made at a club meeting, which concerned everyone, not just Łukasz [Litewka] - said Anna Maria Żukowska on "Gość Radia ZET" (Guest of Radio ZET).

- Łukasz, however, as an animal rights activist, met with the President, along with other individuals known for their work in helping animals. Unfortunately, he did not manage to convince him to sign the so-called "chain bill" - she continued.

- I hope that perhaps now the President will have some reflection. I am deeply convinced that Łukasz would prefer signing a bill that helps animals over receiving an order - she indicated.

"I think there's no chance for that [a unified list of the Left and Razem] because I listened to Ms. Marcelina Zawisza's speech on healthcare, and it turned out that the main enemy is me and Włodzimierz Czarzasty in this matter, so it's hard to imagine" – Anna Maria Żukowska said on "Gość Radia ZET".

"I think it would also be unbelievable for the voters of the Razem party, because this party focuses on attacking the government, it's a strong opposition party, and how would they explain going with one of the government parties on a single list?" – she stated.

- I voted with great pain in my heart and with great pain in my conscience. I voted against the dismissal of the minister [Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda] because Poles elected us – us, meaning the Coalition, the Left, Poland 2050, PSL – so that we would form a government together. So that we would reach an agreement, so that we would change the government in Poland, so that we would remove PiS from power, and so that we would rule together - Anna Maria Żukowska said on "Gość Radia ZET".

When asked if she voted but wasn't happy about it, she confirmed: - I definitely wasn't happy. I think my statement was an expression of that.

- A lot really needs to change in healthcare, and I've also told the Prime Minister this. Because in my assessment, if nothing changes, if there are no more systemic changes and financing, then Polish people may judge us negatively in the electoral process - said Anna Maria Żukowska on "Gość Radia ZET".

- I also voted against the dismissal of the minister because whoever the minister of health is – regardless of their name and personality – if there isn't a decision from the Prime Minister to allocate more funds to healthcare, then the minister, within their ministry's scope, can do very little – said Anna Maria Żukowska on "Gość Radia ZET".

When asked if the Prime Minister is responsible for the current policy, she replied: - Yes.

- He [Prime Minister Donald Tusk] should read the research which shows that healthcare, the situation in healthcare, in hospitals, issues of examinations, issues of limits, issues of specialist examinations, prevention, this is number one in Polish homes. This is what people talk about, this is what is outrageous, and this is what is most important to Poles at the moment - said Anna Maria Żukowska on 'Gość Radia ZET'.

When asked if the prime minister doesn't read these studies, she replied: - Perhaps he draws different conclusions. Perhaps he draws conclusions that, I don't know, Civic Coalition voters will somehow rationalize. But I fear that not everyone will rationalize it. Everyone - this was also often said in this debate - has been, is, or will be a patient, or someone from their family.

- In reality, we are talking about Donald Tusk's new tax, which is intended to take approximately PLN 200 million annually from the pockets of citizens buying electronic equipment. This is how much the equipment will cost more, and this is how much will be taken from the pockets of citizens who purchase this equipment - said Zbigniew Kuźmiuk at a press conference, referring to the reprographic fee.

- As a rule, taxes should be introduced by law. As you know, the minister decided to issue a regulation, which she signed on April 30 this year - he continued.

- This regulation is based on the 1994 Act on Copyright and Related Rights. There is no doubt that over these 30-odd years, reality has changed, and citing this act by way of a regulation is absolutely unacceptable, and therefore we will protest in this matter - he further stated.

- We are considering filing a complaint in this matter with the Ombudsman, so that he may submit a motion to the Constitutional Tribunal to examine the compliance of this regulation with the Polish Constitution - he added.

- We are convinced that it goes far beyond the act I mentioned. Therefore, to introduce such new burdens, a change in the law would be necessary - he pointed out.

- The Polish Constitution provides for the introduction of new taxes only by law. Therefore, in our opinion, this regulation is unconstitutional, and we will turn [...] to the Ombudsman so that he may submit such a motion to the Constitutional Tribunal - he stated.

- We have definitively decided with Prime Minister Starmer that a treaty between Poland and Great Britain will be signed on May 27. It will be a treaty that will tangibly strengthen our cooperation, especially in the field of defense, but not only - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing after his visit to Armenia.

- We have agreed on new forms of cooperation with the Prime Minister of Canada, including in the areas of security, military cooperation, and energy, encompassing both nuclear and renewable energy. We will certainly intensify the cooperation between our special services – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing following his visit to Armenia.

- We also agreed that I will pay an official visit to Canada in the near future to finalize all the details of these agreements and our new, elevated relations – he continued.

As you recall, there were announcements or threats in the public sphere regarding the withdrawal of American troops from Germany, Italy, and Spain. - I will not allow Poland to be used in any way to undermine solidarity or cooperation at the European level - he continued.

- There is no Constitution that is 100% precise when it comes to the competencies of various institutions and authorities, and somehow we have managed over the years. - This is complete nonsense [that the matter of transcribing same-sex marriages is being slowed down]. From day one after the ECJ ruling, I said that court rulings, European court rulings, would be respected, that we would implement the ECJ rulings - said Marcin Kierwiński on “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.
