At 9:30 AM, a press conference will be held by Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty, prior to the 56th session, which commences at 10:00 AM.

Lawmakers will address, among other things, amendments to the Tax Ordinance – one of the proposals from the so-called deregulation package, and the government's draft law on the metropolitan union in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

10 Points on the Government's Agenda

The Council of Ministers session will begin at 12:00 PM. The agenda includes, among others, a draft report on the implementation of the medium-term budget and structural plan for 2025-2028, and a draft of long-term macroeconomic assumptions for 2026-2030.

Ministers will also consider a draft law on special measures to protect individuals participating in public debate, as well as a draft amendment to certain laws to support shipping companies and create conditions for their operation under the Polish flag.

Committees on Partnership Unions, No-Confidence Vote, and Glapiński

At 12:15 PM, an extraordinary Sejm committee will hold a general discussion on the government's draft law – Provisions introducing the law on the status of a next of kin in a union and a cohabitation agreement.

At 2:00 PM, the Sejm Committee for Constitutional Responsibility will, in a closed session, hear testimony from Bartłomiej Pawlak, Jadwiga Emilewicz, Mateusz Morawiecki, and Piotr Karnkowski, summoned as witnesses in the preliminary motion to hold NBP President Adam Glapiński constitutionally responsible before the State Tribunal.

At 6:00 PM, the Sejm Committee on Environment, Natural Resources, and Forestry will consider and provide an opinion on the motion for a vote of no confidence in the Minister of Climate and Environment, Paulina Hennig-Kloski.

President Nawrocki at the 11th Three Seas Summit

President Karol Nawrocki and his wife, Marta Nawrocka, are beginning a visit to Croatia in connection with their participation in the 11th Summit and Business Forum of the Three Seas Initiative in Dubrovnik.

At 9:15 AM, the head of state will meet with U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, and at 1:10 PM – with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

Around 1:45 PM, a welcoming ceremony for heads of state and government delegations participating in the Three Seas Initiative Summit will take place, followed at 2:10 PM by the President's welcome by the Croatian Prime Minister, and then a joint photograph.

At 2:30 PM, the plenary session of the 11th Three Seas Summit will commence, and at 5:00 PM – a meeting between President Nawrocki, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and Slovak President Peter Pellegrini with media representatives. The final item is an official dinner at 8:30 PM.

- Today we have a commission that will answer all these questions. It would be very irresponsible [if the coalition broke up]. Confederation submitted the motion for a vote of no confidence precisely for this reason, they didn't even particularly hide it, to divide the governing coalition - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska in the "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.

- I note with sadness that some have stepped into this role, written by Confederation. But I believe that in the end, reason will prevail - she continued.

- I recall that this solution, in my opinion and I think in the opinion of most Poles, is the best solution in Europe. - For now, we are sticking to May 15th. But I think consumers in Poland, seeing how quickly and effectively the government reacted, can rest assured - he stated.

- I'm not accusing Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz of bluffing. I think there's a heated atmosphere within the Poland 2050 club itself. They are discussing this topic. However, I am rather calm when it comes to the vote itself [on the vote of no confidence against Paulina Hennig-Kloska] – said Adam Szłapka in Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- There was also a meeting between the Prime Minister and Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, and the Minister very clearly declared that the Poland 2050 club or party wants to be in the coalition, supports the coalition, even though they sometimes voice their doubts loudly – he stated.

- It's like this: 'we want to be in the coalition' is a necessary condition for the coalition to last - but not a sufficient one. A sufficient and necessary condition is to defend all our ministers. - I don't anticipate, I think that both Ms. Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda and Paulina Hennig Kloska [...] these no-confidence motions will be defended. Because it destabilizes the coalition, and the alternative to this coalition is one where the Left would certainly not be included, as it would be a coalition of Braun, Nawrocki, Mentzen, and Kaczyński - he continued.

- This is all about fixing gigantic mistakes that were made by our predecessors. Based on the data I have, the queues are shorter than during the PiS era. This all requires work. - 'The government cannot cover up its incompetence and helplessness in failing to control the cryptocurrency market with lies. Hold yourselves accountable, not the opposition,' the President wrote, stating that he received the first letter from ABW on December 12th, 11 days after vetoing the act, said Marcin Fijołek in Polsat News's 'Graffiti'.

- And he vetoed it a second time. Where is the logic? - replied Adam Szłapka.

He continued: - It is clearly visible that a letter from ABW holds far less value for the President than the CPAC conference in Rzeszów, which Zondacrypto financed 100%.

- We prepared a bill on this matter twice. The first bill, had it been introduced, we believe would have prevented some negative actions related to Zondacrypto. I can't say to what extent at this moment, because I don't know, it has already happened - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on RMF FM.

- Frankly, I'll say this – the president behaved like a typical PiS troll, a regular PiS troll, who is trying to defend himself because he knows full well that this affair [concerning cryptocurrencies] burdens his inner circle and the entire Law and Justice party (PiS) 100% – Adam Szłapka stated on Polsat News's "Graffiti."

- The Internal Security Agency (ABW) is investigating this matter [Zondacrypto]. The ABW's task is to inform officials. The president received a memo on this issue. There was also a classified Sejm session in December – he continued.

- A bill was prepared last year to regulate this market. There were two vetoes. […] The president's determination in defending this company and blocking the regulation of this market […] is something every voter should examine very carefully. Ziobro's foundation receives money from Kral, Wipler's foundation receives money from Kral… – he pointed out.

Regarding the organization of parliamentary work, we have moved all votes from tomorrow to today. - Yesterday, at the Sejm Presidium, consequences were imposed on MPs Dariusz Matecki and Michał Woś. This is in connection with the disruption of order and proceedings by these two gentlemen MPs. The decision of the Sejm Presidium was unanimous; the honourable MPs have been punished with a 3-month penalty, involving the deduction of half of their remuneration for each of them for 3 months - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.

- Yesterday, I made a decision. As the term of RPO Marcin Wiącek ends on July 23rd, I have initiated the procedure for nominating candidates for the RPO position - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.

"Once again, the European Parliament has approved further repression against opposition politicians" - wrote Jarosław Kaczyński on X.

"He is a man, as you know, very determined, brave, so he apparently has no intention of letting this matter go, for which he has sacrificed so many years of freedom and, in fact, his entire life. But he can count on our comprehensive help" - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference.

- This is a special event for me, as it is the first time I am participating in the Three Seas Initiative as the President of Poland – in the very place where it began. […] With great pride, as the new President of Poland, I will support this initiative, which has been active for over a decade - President Karol Nawrocki stated at a press conference in Dubrovnik.

As he pointed out: - Poland plays the role of both a founding state and a constant advocate of this initiative. I perceive this initiative as the foundation of Europe's competitiveness and a driver of transatlantic cooperation.

- Poland will participate in the work of the G20 group this year. The invitation extended to Poland by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, demonstrates on the one hand the very dynamic development of the Republic, but also the ability for [...] economic, and political transformation. This is a gesture towards all Polish entrepreneurs and employees who have achieved such good indicators for the Polish economy - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Dubrovnik.

- Therefore, I am very pleased that all member countries of the Three Seas Initiative, in their final declaration, have indicated this success of Poland as a success, and Poland as the representative of the entire Three Seas Initiative region at the G20 summit - he continued.

- I think this is the moment when we should start discussing the creation of financing mechanisms for infrastructure around the Three Seas Development Bank. This is what we discussed, and I believe it lies ahead of us. This is the step that the Three Seas Initiative expects - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Dubrovnik.

- Part of the discussion also revolved around the institutionalization of the Three Seas Initiative, and these are further steps that will give the initiative opportunities in the coming years or decades. I believe that among the Three Seas Initiative countries, there is a general understanding of the direction we would like to take - he continued.

- The potential for cooperation in our region also includes cooperation with the United States of North America. [...] The United States of America is a strategic partner not only for the Republic but also for the Three Seas Initiative initiative – said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Dubrovnik.

As PKN stated: - Poland is ready to become the gateway of the North for American gas to the entire region. Similar interconnector connections are of course happening in Southern Europe. I am talking about the possibilities of the Baltic Sea, Polish terminals, Świnoujście, and investments in a floating terminal in the Baltic Sea.

- Poland is ready to become the gateway of the North for building responsibility and indeed energy independence. It is one of the greatest successes of the Three Seas Initiative states that we have managed to cut ourselves off from Russian gas – he indicated.

- I don't understand this type of narrative, which is being spread not only in Poland but also across Europe, and the disturbing anti-Americanism that seeks to undermine, on the one hand, the relations between Poland and Europe with the United States, and on the other hand, acts to the detriment of these relations - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Dubrovnik.

- That article [interview for the „Financial Times” - ed.] by Prime Minister Donald Tusk was very imprudent. I think neither I nor the participants of the Three Seas Initiative, who met today, have the slightest doubt that the United States is not only formally a strategic partner for both Poland and the Three Seas Initiative, but also the most important ally for Poland - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Dubrovnik.

- We all had our throats tight with emotion. First and foremost, waiting for the moment the exchange would begin, Andrzej Poczobut was named first, he was the first to arrive on the Polish side, and there was enormous fear whether everything would go as we planned, because as Prime Minister Tusk mentioned, we also dealt with a failed exchange a few months ago - stated Tomasz Siemoniak on "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.

- Certainly a wonderful day. One that shows that we fight to the very end for our friends, for our compatriots – because it's not just him [Andrzej Poczobut], but also our compatriots who were imprisoned by Lukashenka's regime, have arrived in Poland. Simply put, Poland does not abandon its friends. Poland does not abandon its citizens. It always fights for them – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Marek Tejchman on Polsat News' “Gość Wydarzeń”.

- We have sealed the Polish-Belarusian border 100%. I would like to inform you that this year, no one has illegally crossed the Polish-Belarusian border. This is an absolute, total change compared to what it was in 2021, 2022. It was really difficult; the pressure was sometimes 30,000 crossing attempts - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- There are fewer attempts because we have sealed it so strongly that these attempts are ineffective. Also, the migratory pressure from Belarus has certainly been redirected north, to the Belarusian-Lithuanian or Latvian border. They saw that passage this way is no longer possible, it is simply so sealed - he indicated.

- Is this a change? I do not believe in a change in the Lukashenka regime - he added.

- This operation [to free Andrzej Poczobut] lasted a very long time. Previously, there were also various actions and decisions on our part, made several months ago, that would lead to such a finale - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on "Gość Wydarzeń" Polsat News.

- I believe the Americans played a key role here. Of course, our intelligence services' actions, Moldova and Romania did a lot […], the Prime Minister has very good contacts with the President of Moldova and the leaders of Romania. It was also very important that we acted unitedly - he continued.

- I am of course aware of the government's role, I am aware of the role of the special services. Minister Siemoniak played a huge role in this entire process, as the coordinator of the special services. I know that without this, without cooperation with President Nawrocki and, of course, with the United States, it would have been impossible. So, to each according to their merit - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

"If it weren't for what the services did, we wouldn't be talking about this at all. If it weren't for cooperation with allies, we wouldn't be talking about this at all. Also, if it weren't for the engagement of the United States, none of this would have happened," said Adam Szłapka in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" regarding the release of Andrzej Poczobut.

"This is not the moment to puff out your chest for medals, so to speak, or to bicker about who here has better relations with Americans. Poland has good relations with Americans; if anyone claims otherwise, they are not telling the truth," he continued.

- Today, and the release of Andrzej Poczobut, shows that we have model relations with the United States, because as Poland, Poland as a country, including its government, we are able to conduct very serious operations with them that will end in success - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24.

- Today we are talking about 218,000, around 220,000 [soldiers]. And this number will grow successively. We are aiming for the figure of 300,000 regular troops and 200,000 active reserve - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

– In the coming days [money from SAFE will go to Poland]. I think that next week we should be ready to sign the agreement – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on “Gość Wydarzeń” Polsat News.

- Now all the legal provisions of the agreement are being finalized - Adam Szłapka said on TVN24, when asked when Poland would receive the money from SAFE.

- This is a matter of days rather than weeks, so whether it will be the end of April or the beginning of May, but rather around that time, than later - he continued, when pressed to give a rough timeframe.

- I am not surprised by Jarosław Kaczyński's words, who instead of being happy that Andrzej Poczobut has been released, is using this situation, meaning, surely it wasn't written by Kaczyński himself, but by one of his employees, is using this situation to attack the government - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24.

- This is a complete mix-up of priorities, meaning, it's time to separate state affairs from party affairs. Jarosław Kaczyński is incapable of this. For him, party matters are more important than state affairs. It's not a good sign that Karol Nawrocki's entourage or the President are adopting this way of thinking from Jarosław Kaczyński, because it is harmful to Poland - he continued.

- I don't see any threats [to the coalition in the context of the vote on Paulina Hennig-Kloska], firstly. Secondly, I believe that everyone in the coalition is aware that if your own minister is dismissed at the opposition's request, the coalition ends and the government ends - Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said on "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- The government will prepare the [cryptocurrency] bill once again - Adam Szłapka said on TVN24.

- The Ministry of Finance, meaning it's meant to be a government act - he continued, when asked who would prepare it, whether Polska 2050.

- I haven't seen Poland 2050's project yet, but I am far from such attempts at maneuvering - he went on to say.

- The situation now is that there is some parliamentary bill, here the President, who wants to whitewash himself, claiming he didn't veto this bill twice, saying that he might sign such a bill, here Jarosław Kaczyński is suddenly saying now that he has nothing to do with this matter, he would ban all cryptocurrencies altogether, he will have another opportunity to vote - he added.

- This is not an ultimatum, it is normal coalition practice - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24, when asked if the Prime Minister was maintaining his ultimatum that if the MPs of Poland 2050 vote in favor of the motion to dismiss Hennig-Kloska, they will be expelled from the coalition.

- Either we are a coalition and we move forward together [...] we vote against the opposition's motions, which are purely political, of course, or we are outside the coalition, and this is a decision that all MPs within the coalition will make - he continued.

- From what I know, the leaders of all clubs or parties functioning within the coalition have announced that they will vote against [the motion to dismiss Hennig-Kloska] - Adam Szłapka said on TVN24.

- I know that such a conversation [Tusk - Pełczyńska-Nałęcz] took place, and Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said that they will vote against the motion for dismissal - he continued.

- A club that would vote differently is leaving the coalition - he added.
