Thursday's Political Agenda: Tusk at EU Summit, Morawiecki and Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in Katowice for EEC, Kosiniak-Kamysz in Sokołów Podlaski

At 9:30 AM, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, will attend the ceremonial oath-taking of first-year students at School Complex No. 1 in Sokołów Podlaski. The students belong to the Military Preparation Division, the Uniformed Preparation Division, and a military-profile class for automotive vehicle technicians. The Minister of National Defence is scheduled to give a speech.

At 1:00 PM in Katowice, during the European Economic Congress (EEC), a press briefing will be held with the participation of, among others, the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. The topic will be "Poland's Secure Pharmaceutical Future - Signing of an agreement for the development of a biological drug production center.".

The second day of the European Economic Congress (EEC) will also feature events with the participation of Polish politicians.

At 9:30 AM, as part of "EEC Talks. With Politicians about the Economy," Jacek Prusinowski will hold discussions with Minister of Funds Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, PiS Vice-Chairman Mateusz Morawiecki, and MEP Michał Szczerba, respectively.

On Thursday, an informal EU summit begins, during which Member State leaders will meet in Nicosia and Ayia Napa. The main topics will be the geopolitical situation (including the conflict in Iran, the situation in Ukraine) and the long-term EU budget.

At 6:20 PM, Prime Minister Donald Tusk is scheduled to be welcomed by the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and at 6:30 PM, he will meet with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

Following that, at 7:15 PM, a family photo is planned, and at 7:30 PM, members of the European Council will meet with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The final item on the agenda is a working dinner at 8:15 PM.

Also today, PiS parliamentarians and local government officials will hold press conferences in front of hospitals – a total of 19 media meetings are planned.

07:41

Tomczyk on Ukraine’s Significant Progress in Breaking the Russian Front:

90 Billion Could Be a Game Changer.

- I won't reveal any great secret, as these matters are also reported by the media, but Ukraine has made significant progress in recent weeks regarding breaking the Russian front. The 90 billion that will be allocated for military equipment, which can also be purchased in Poland, Europe, or the USA, could be an absolute game changer from the perspective of this front - stated Cezary Tomczyk on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden" (One on One).

- The truth is that Ukraine is a security buffer for us. If Ukraine breaks through the Russians, if it breaks through this front, if it perhaps even regains the territories it has lost in the long term, it will be a huge weakening of Russia, both economically, politically, militarily, and symbolically - he continued.

07:48

Tomczyk:

I have no doubt that the political circles of PiS were connected in some way to Zondacrypto

- I have no doubt that the political circles of PiS were connected in some way, we will probably find out how, to Zondacrypto. I have no doubt that someone profited from this, apart from what we see on the table. The cash flows, the million zlotys that went to Ziobro and Wipler and their foundations, are not a coincidence, at the time of voting on the act - stated Cezary Tomczyk in 'Jeden na jeden' on TVN24.

07:51

Tomczyk:

Nawrocki Was Informed by Services. He Vetoed the Law Despite This Information

- Karol Nawrocki was informed by special services from the very beginning. Prime Minister Donald Tusk spoke about this, about who is behind Zondacrypto, what their connections and capabilities are. Despite this information, or in defiance of it, he decided to veto the law that would have provided security for Poles - stated Cezary Tomczyk on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

08:00

Kaczyński's Lack of Courage to Disavow the Matter, Meaning He Had to Accept It. Tomczyk on Zondacrypto

- We have already heard, and my intuition tells me we will hear much more. But look at this – we have the main opposition party, PiS, and Jarosław Kaczyński's lack of courage to disavow this matter, meaning he had to accept it. We have Konfederacja, which has been involved from the very beginning, and we have the President of the Republic of Poland, who spoke at a conference during the election campaign using money from Zondacrypto, and later it looks like some kind of substitute service - stated Cezary Tomczyk on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden" (One on One).

08:07

Tomczyk on MPs Voting Against Their Own Minister:

They Automatically Eliminate Themselves from the Governing Coalition.

"If MPs who secure the parliamentary majority and are part of it in the Sejm vote, for example, against their own minister, it means they are automatically eliminating themselves from the governing coalition and cease to be part of it, practically automatically," stated Cezary Tomczyk in "One on One" on TVN24.

08:41

Cieszyński:

Whenever Tusk is Prime Minister, there's a Gigantic Financial Scandal, People Lose Money

- Whenever Donald Tusk is Prime Minister, there's a gigantic financial scandal, a pyramid scheme, people lose money. Then there was Amber Gold, now it's Zondacrypto - said Janusz Cieszyński in an interview with Renata Grochal on "Bez uników" on Trójka.

- Now there's a desperate attempt to forcefully pin this scandal onto the opposition. I think it won't succeed, because the facts are obvious, whoever rules is responsible for the people, for financial security, for security in Poland - he continued.

08:46

Cieszyński on Money Received by Ziobro's Foundation from Zondacrypto CEO:

They Should Be Returned Immediately.

- In my opinion, these funds should be returned immediately. I think no one had the right to know that this exchange was about to collapse, so these funds should be returned, so that there are no doubts that there are no connections here - said Janusz Cieszyński on Trójka, when asked about the money for Zbigniew Ziobro's foundation from the CEO of Zondacrypto.

08:50

Cieszyński on Cryptocurrency Bills Vetoed by the President:

These Laws Were Over-Regulated.

"These laws [on cryptocurrencies] were over-regulated, they would have led to no such exchange locating in Poland [...] when they are located in Estonia, a small country unable to cope with supervising gigantic financial institutions [...] we now have such a scandal, and Polish clients are paying for the mistakes of Estonian supervision," Janusz Cieszyński said on Trójka.

08:54

Cieszyński critically on the Minister of Health:

Instead of being a substantive expert, she became a propagandist.

- Ms. Sobierańska-Grenda, instead of being a substantive expert, has become a propagandist, because when she says that diagnostics limitations result from doctors excessively sending patients for tests, and to curb this, we are introducing diagnostic test limits, I wonder if she's serious, or if she simply believes people are so naive that they'll believe such fairy tales - said Janusz Cieszyński on Trójka.

08:57

Cieszyński:

Doctors on Contracts Earning 30, 40, 50 Thousand PLN Should Not Receive Automatic Annual Raises

- If you don't have money, you save on gigantic raises for doctors on contracts, for doctors who earn 100, 200, 300 thousand zlotys. Of course, there aren't many who earn that much, but there are really a lot who earn 30, 40, 50 thousand, and they should not be covered by automatic, annual raises - said Janusz Cieszyński on Trójka.

09:49

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on What Poland 2050's Vote on Hennig-Kloska Depends On:

We Will Make a Sovereign Decision.

- We invited the minister to our club. This is a normal, standard, good coalition practice to talk - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz during "EEC Talks. With Politicians about the Economy," when asked by Jacek Prusinowski about Poland 2050's vote regarding Paulina Hennig-Kloska.

- We invited her, we are awaiting a response, and it is also from whether she comes, about what, how, and what we hear regarding the deposit system and clean air, that we will make our sovereign decision - she continued.

09:55

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

Voices Suggesting the Coalition's Demise Will Never Emerge from Poland 2050

- We are a responsible part of the October 15th coalition. Truly, if any threats, any voices suggesting the coalition might cease to exist, emerge, they will never come from Poland 2050 - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz during "EEC Talks. With Politicians on the Economy".

10:00

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

Everyone Feels Taxes Are Unfair, Yet This Issue Is Consistently Swept Under the Rug

- The conviction that taxes are unfair has been around for a very long time. Everyone feels it, everyone says it privately, yet this issue is consistently swept under the rug - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz during "EEC Talks. With Politicians About the Economy".

- Firstly, we have the big tech companies, including American big tech like Facebook, and they pay half a percent in Poland. What is that even, in France, Italy, Spain it's 2.5%, 3%, and in Poland, half a percent. [...] Why should we behave like some Silicon Valley colony - she continued.

- Secondly, today the greatest burden falls on the middle class, on people who are certainly not wealthy, who work hard, earn a little above average [...] they fall into the second tax bracket for the rich [...] and at the same time, we have a lump-sum solution that allows some people to pay 5%, 12% [percent] - she went on to say.

10:05

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

For the First Time, We're Approaching EU Budget Planning with Our Own Development Strategy Ready

- The next EU budget is still a budget where Poland definitely receives more than it contributes. We have the largest national envelope, meaning the pool, the national pot of funds we will receive, the largest one, which amounts to half a trillion zlotys - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz during "EEC Talks. With Politicians About the Economy".

- Today, we are sitting down at the table, coordinated by the Ministry of Funds, with local government representatives, with ministry representatives, as well as the social side, and planning investments for the next EU budget. This will be the first time such a solution is implemented, one large plan, a reformatory-investment plan, with each voivodeship having its own chapter in this plan - she continued.

- We have just under a year to negotiate this plan, finalize it, and precisely indicate what investments we want to make across Poland - she further stated.

- For the first time, we are approaching this EU budget planning with our own development strategy ready. This means we are not going to Brussels and asking, "What do you propose for us, how should we develop?" No, this time we have our own strategy for Poland's development. We have already presented it in Brussels and said, "This is our plan," and they have taken our plan into consideration - she added.

10:11

Morawiecki on meeting with Kaczyński:

The economy was a key part of our discussion.

- You would be surprised, because the economy was a very important topic overall and a key part of our discussion. I can even say it took up at least half of the time, of the 7 or 8 hours of conversation - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Kanał Zero.

10:31

Morawiecki Responds to Tusk's Words:

Foreign Companies Primarily Win Bids.

- You can say whatever you want. My successor is a master of stepping onto the stage and talking – repolonization, iron dome, Eastern Shield, Piast Poland. What else do you want? Nationalization. And what has come of all this, if foreign companies are primarily winning bids? In the last two years, Germany has won bids in Poland worth over PLN 5 billion. Polish companies in Germany have won less than PLN 500 million during that same period - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

10:46

Morawiecki:

Our management of PGZ leaves much to be desired. I can strike my own chest heavily on this

- I must say that our management of PGZ, because it belonged to the State Treasury, leaves very, very much to be desired, and I can strike my own chest heavily on this. That is why I am all the more in favor of introducing as many elements of competition as possible into the entire arms industry today - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

10:55

Who Will Be the Best Prime Minister? Morawiecki Responds

- The best prime minister will be someone who is able to propose and implement, because a proposal is one thing, and implementation is another, a very difficult agenda of improving the state of public finances, accelerating investment processes, utilizing dual-use products and the defense industry, accelerating innovation, IP box, innovation relief, for artificial intelligence - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

10:58

Morawiecki:

An Agreement Has Been Reached. We Are Determined to Move Forward

- He [Przemysław Czarnek] is our candidate for Prime Minister today, and the voters will decide what the situation will be after the elections - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

- These conflicts exist and will continue, but we have indeed managed to clear up some communication turbulences with Mr. President Jarosław Kaczyński and reach an agreement. Therefore, yes, today we are determined to move forward, implement our political agenda, and propose constructive, positive solutions for Poles - he continued.

11:00

Morawiecki:

A Sharp Turn to the Right After the Presidential Election Was an Unfortunate Political Move

- I argue that a sharp turn to the right after the presidential election was an unfortunate political move on our part. Because from 31% support, which we had on average then, we dropped somewhere to around 26% in average polls, meaning a drop of 5 percentage points. So, through our very radical language, which referred to that right wing, which dominated our communication, mine and our political camp's, this phenomenon occurred - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

11:02

Morawiecki:

Kaczyński Agreed with Me That Playing Second Fiddle is Necessary

- Indeed, during this conversation with the President, I believe he wouldn't be upset with me if I said he agreed with me that playing this second fiddle, breathing with this second lung, the more aspirational, developmental one, is very necessary - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

- I don't know if he [admitted] his mistake, if he ordered it then, or if he was pulled along by more radical activists in our political camp, but this change is going to happen - he continued.

11:04

Morawiecki:

The Right Must Soar on Two Wings

- The right must soar on two wings. If it only soars on one wing, especially the identity-based one, it won't fly far - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Kanał Zero.

11:48

Mentzen Releases Spot Referencing Disputes within PiS:

Values Don't Drown.

Sławomir Mentzen has published a social media spot with the slogan "Values Don't Drown. Time for a Change of Course!"

12:08

PiS Publishes Infographic:

The Budget is Slipping Away Before Our Eyes.

- 3 months = 69.5 billion PLN more debt. The budget is slipping away before our eyes. Is this what "managing" finances looks like? - PiS asks on social media.

President Moves to Formal and Legal Stage: Annex to WSI Liquidation Report to be Revealed

- Following the completion of analytical and substantive work within the National Security Bureau, and in line with previous announcements, the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, has moved to the formal and legal stage directly aimed at declassifying and publicly releasing the Annex to the Report on the Liquidation of the Military Information Services - informed Rafał Leśkiewicz on social media.

- Concurrently, based on Article 70c paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 70d paragraph 3 of the aforementioned Act, the President of the Republic of Poland has forwarded the anonymized supplement to the Report, in accordance with the judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal of June 27, 2008, case reference K 51/07, for the opinion of the Speakers of the Sejm and Senate - emphasized the presidential spokesperson.

- These opinions, which are not binding on the President of the Republic of Poland, constitute a formal element of the process aimed at declassifying and publicly releasing the Annex to the Report on the Liquidation of WSI - he added.

12:47

Cenckiewicz Resigns as Head of BBN:

In the Face of Unlawful Actions by the Tusk Government...

- In the face of unlawful actions by Donald Tusk's government, which disrespects legally binding court rulings and unjustly denies me access to classified information, I submitted my resignation as Secretary of State – Head of the National Security Bureau to President Karol Nawrocki on April 22, 2026 - Sławomir Cenckiewicz informed on social media.

- From now on, I will support Mr. President in a completely different role. I offer my support to my successor – Gen. Andrzej Kowalski, and all my colleagues from BBN, I thank them and wish them success - he noted.

- I have carefully considered my decision and made it out of responsibility for the state, whose important office – the National Security Bureau – has been subjected to brutal interference and pressure from Donald Tusk's government. Tusk and his associates' unprecedented anti-state vandalism has effectively paralyzed the normal functioning of BBN and made it impossible for me to fulfill the duties entrusted to me on August 7, 2025, by the President of the Republic of Poland - Cenckiewicz added.

13:25

Czarzasty on Trump:

What He Did Two Months After That Decision Showed It Wasn't Emotional, but Rational.

- President Trump's reaction to some European parliamentary speakers not supporting his candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize indicates that emotions are a fundamental element in this man's work and decisions. I did not agree with and did not support his candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize, and what he did subsequently, two months after that decision, showed that my decision was not emotional, but rational - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a meeting at Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM).

13:25

Czarzasty on Trump:

From the American side, I know he doesn't like it when I talk about him.

- I like talking about Trump. I know from the American side that he doesn't like it when I talk about him, but what can you do. Trump has currently stirred up the entire situation on the world political stage. I had such an interview for the „Financial Times” where I said that he is the leader of chaos. Because there is a real problem with him, because he is a person who, in practice, has called into question everything that has happened so far, the institutions that have operated and are operating, the future of these institutions, alliances, and the role of the USA in these alliances. And that's a big deal - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a meeting at UAM.

13:32

Czarzasty:

The One Thing Trump Actually Achieved Was Waking Up the EU

- The one thing Trump actually achieved, truly, was waking up the EU, because suddenly the EU and all EU countries, including Poland, started asking themselves this question: what will happen to the EU and to us, at the moment when the USA withdraws its troops and will not fight for us - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a meeting at UAM.

13:36

Czarzasty:

Any political force aiming to take Poland out of the EU will strip us of our security

- Any political force in Poland that wants to take Poland out of the EU will take away Poland's security. Because this stems from the international structure - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a meeting at Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM).

14:07

Czarzasty Responds to Nawrocki's Words:

No Agreement to Change the Constitution. It Must Be Respected, Not Changed.

- There is no agreement to change the Constitution. The Left, the formation I have the pleasure of leading with friends, will not agree to it. The discussions mainly concern the powers of the president, the government, constitutional matters. This is what is intended to lead to the Constitution being changed. Damn it, what is the most important thing in the Constitution? Or perhaps the point is that the Constitution must be respected, not changed - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a meeting at Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM).

14:08

Leśkiewicz on Declassifying the Annex to the WSI Liquidation Report:

The Goal is Not to Escalate Disputes.

"The decision to declassify and publish the annex to the report on the liquidation of the Military Information Services constitutes an extremely important element in closing a significant stage of ordering the state after the systemic transformation," Rafał Leśkiewicz said at a press briefing.

"The decision of President Karol Nawrocki is of a state, not political, character. The goal is not to escalate disputes or to use this annex for the current political struggle. The aim is to separate facts from assessments and opinions, to create conditions for calm, substantive reflection on our past, based on sources," he continued.

14:13

Leśkiewicz on Cenckiewicz:

He Knows He Cannot Be a Pretext for Unlawful Actions by the Rulers Against the President.

- If anyone thinks that Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz's decision is an expression of weakness, an expression of surrender to the reality we are currently facing, then I assure you that every such person is mistaken - Rafał Leśkiewicz said at a press briefing.

- Professor Cenckiewicz's decision was not made ad hoc, it was not made under the influence of emotions. Professor Cenckiewicz made this decision responsibly because he knows perfectly well that as a responsible official of the Republic, he cannot be a pretext for unlawful actions by the rulers against the President and the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland - he continued.

14:21

Czarzasty on the Civil Partnerships Bill:

It Will Pass Parliament in June. It's Not Perfect.

- This bill [on civil partnerships] will pass. This bill will go through the Sejm in June and head to the Senate, pass through the Senate, and President Nawrocki will probably not sign it. It's not a perfect bill, because it's not a bill that, for example, grants the right to marriage, but it grants rights in many areas, for instance, in the economic sphere, taxation, tax exemptions, joint tax filing, inheritance, and medical care. It's a step forward - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a meeting at Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM).

14:23

Siemoniak:

Cienkiewicz's Hysterical Statement Confirms Why He Should Never Head the National Security Bureau

"Mr. Cienkiewicz's hysterical statement about resigning as head of the National Security Bureau (BBN) clearly confirms why this person should never hold this position or have access to state secrets." - wrote Tomasz Siemoniak on X.

"We look forward to cooperating with Gen. Kowalski as acting head of the BBN, who, by effectively representing the BBN in various government bodies, has shown that even with significant differences of opinion, it is possible to act with seriousness and calm within the scope of applicable regulations." - he continued in his post.

14:26

Leśkiewicz:

There Has Never Been a Conflict Between Cenckiewicz and Any Other Representative of the Presidential Chancellery Leadership

- There has never been and is no conflict between Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz and any other representative of the Presidential Chancellery leadership; this is an artificially created news item - Rafał Leśkiewicz stated at a press briefing.

14:40

Leśkiewicz on Żurek:

The Minister Has His Systems Confused,

- No, I am not afraid of this investigation; Minister Żurek has his systems confused - said Rafał Leśkiewicz at a press briefing, when asked if he feared the prosecutor's office investigation into the failure to appoint Constitutional Tribunal judges (concerning the president's entourage, which allegedly encouraged him not to administer the oath).

- I encourage Minister Żurek and all those who believe what Minister Żurek says to read a book titled "Lawyers of the Era of Lawlessness." This is a book that presents the profiles of judges and prosecutors who, after 1945, succumbed to totalitarian rule - he continued.

- It could be an interesting, reflective read for Minister Waldemar Żurek, because by reading the biographies of these individuals and what they did after 1945, one can find many analogies to what the current government is doing - he went on to say.

14:50

No One Can Publish the Document Before the President, Unless Czarzasty Shares it with Czestnych. Leśkiewicz on the WSI Liquidation Report

- This publication [of the appendix to the report on the liquidation of the WSI] can only take place in the Monitor Polski and this publication can only be ordered by the President of the Republic of Poland, therefore no one can publish this document before then - said Rafał Leśkiewicz at a press briefing.

- Unless, after handing over an anonymized copy of this report to the Marshal of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, he shares it with his colleague Svetlana Czestnych collegially, but I hope he will not do so - he continued.

14:59

Dobrzyński on Cenckiewicz's Resignation:

A Good Decision, Albeit Heavily Delayed.

- Despite a certain kind of trickery, despite a certain misinterpretation of the law, especially by Mr. Cenckiewicz, his associates, and colleagues, it is clear that these words have finally reached Mr. Cenckiewicz. He understood that he does not have access to classified information and that continuing as the head of the National Security Bureau is simply a fiction - Jacek Dobrzyński said at a press conference.

- A person holding the position of head of the National Security Bureau must have access to classified information, especially in such turbulent times as we are currently experiencing. This information is essential for the proper management of the bureau - he continued.

- I do not hide the fact that I am glad that Mr. Sławomir Cenckiewicz has finally understood this and realized that his leadership of this institution makes no sense - he went on to say.

- It turned out well, it is a good decision by Mr. Sławomir Cenckiewicz, it is perhaps the only good decision I can praise, although it is very heavily delayed - he added.

15:01

Cenckiewicz:

I'm Receiving Much Information on How Tusk's Team is Reacting to the NSA Verdict

- In reality, my triumph has, in a sense, been fatal for Donald Tusk's team. I am receiving a lot of information about how intensely this team is experiencing this NSA verdict; I know what's happening in the Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW), I've heard details about what transpired in those dramatic moments on Wednesday, April 15th, and afterwards. But the political realities are such that it is being treated as if it never happened, and in reality, it has changed nothing in my situation regarding access to classified information - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on TV Republika.

15:06

Dobrzyński:

The Supreme Administrative Court Ruling Contains No Word Stating Cenckiewicz Has Access to Classified Information

- Mr. Sławomir Cenckiewicz, above all, said that the [Supreme Administrative Court] ruling was devastating or that the ruling was in his favor. You all know perfectly well that the ruling contains not a single word stating that the court is restoring or acknowledging that Mr. Sławomir Cenckiewicz has such access. No - Jacek Dobrzyński stated at a press conference.

15:09

Dobrzyński:

If Cenckiewicz Does Not Hold a Position Requiring Access to Classified Information, Proceedings May Be Dropped

- If, at this moment, Mr. Sławomir Cenckiewicz does not hold any position where he should have access to classified information, then in my opinion, I would have to check this thoroughly, further proceedings may simply be dropped - said Jacek Dobrzyński at a press conference.

15:12

Dobrzyński on Plans to Declassify the WSI Liquidation Report Appendix:

It's Baseless, There's No Need for It.

"For 18 years, no president, no individual has decided to declassify this document, so I don't know what has suddenly happened in our country that someone is starting to make decisions to declassify it," Jacek Dobrzyński said at a press conference when asked about the declassification of the appendix to the WSI liquidation report.

"I don't know this report, I don't know what's in it, but I trust the previous presidents who have reviewed this document. If they decided there was no need, then I consider it baseless," he continued.

"I believe that if presidents from various political groups have considered there to be no need, that it might be harmful, I believe there is no need for it," he went on to say.

15:29

Cenckiewicz:

Victory in 2027 is Not Guaranteed. It Needs to Be Helped

- I believe that this victory [in 2027] is not obvious. This victory needs to be helped. We cannot simply wait with our hands folded, firstly, and secondly, as I said, I am simply a man of action - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on TV Republika.

15:38

Cenckiewicz:

This team's concept is to successively sideline the President's collaborators

- The concept of this team is to successively sideline the President's collaborators. And such a decision seems to have been made. I'm setting aside my own person, as it's no longer relevant since I don't work for President Nawrocki, but the case of Minister Andruszkiewicz - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on TV Republika.

- I can tell you that one of my closest collaborators at BBN, General Rzeczkowski, is also suddenly encountering problems, suggestions that the renewal of his security clearance will take longer, that it's uncertain how it will proceed - he continued.

17:29

Czarzasty on MP Litewka:

A Tragic Piece of News, a Fantastic, Energetic Man Has Died.

- An absolute tragedy and tragic news. Every death is regrettable. Łukasz was a fantastic man. I think what he did for the causes he championed, for charity work involving people and animals, would have served many lives. A great tragedy for his family, and also for us, for his political circle, which is Lewica, but at this moment, politics has no significance. A man has died, a fantastic man, likable, young, and very energetic. It's simply a shame - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with TVN24.

17:34

Tusk on MP Litewka:

We Will Remember Him as a Man with a Big Heart.

"Łukasz Litewka has passed away. We will remember him as a man with a big heart, who courageously dedicated himself to helping people and animals. I offer my condolences to his family and loved ones." - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on X.

18:22

Nawrocki on MP Litewka:

We Will Miss His Big Heart and Concern for the Common Good.

"It is with great sadness that I received the news of the tragic death of MP Łukasz Litewka. He was a committed local government official and parliamentarian, dedicated to the affairs of the local community and social activities. We will miss his big heart and concern for the common good. I extend my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace." - wrote President Karol Nawrocki on X.

19:14

Kaczyński on MP Litewka:

Young, Promising, Dedicated… He Left Too Soon.

- I received the news of the sudden death of Mr. MP Łukasz Litewka with sorrow. A person incredibly dedicated to helping those in need, especially in difficult situations. He was also actively involved in advocating for animals - Jarosław Kaczyński wrote on X.

- Young, promising, dedicated… He left too soon. My sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace - added the PiS leader.

19:59

Zgorzelski on MP Litewka:

A wonderful person, everyone just liked him.

- A terrible story, a terrible tragedy. I sympathize with his loved ones. And he had many [Łukasz Litewka] because he was a person of whom it is said that he is a man with his heart on his sleeve - said Piotr Zgorzelski in „Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24.

- Through his social activity, he rose above something that is rare in Polish politics, namely above political divisions. I have the impression that everyone just liked him - he stated.

- I didn't talk to him often, I didn't know him that closely, but after those two brief meetings, I knew one thing – that I was dealing with a person who had something important on his mind to do, to accomplish. I had the impression that he was in a hurry somewhere, because someone was waiting for him, perhaps someone needed his help. We know that he helped not only people, but also our smaller brethren - he continued.

- Simply a wonderful person. [...] Words of sympathy and farewell are flowing from all sides of the political scene. I too can only say: may he rest in peace - he added.

20:12

Zgorzelski:

It is said that at least three ministers in the Presidential Chancellery have formed an alliance against Cenckiewicz

- Sławomir Cenckiewicz is a very egocentric personality. He is an individualist and a man who cannot tolerate criticism in cooperation, who cannot tolerate people who have a different opinion - said Piotr Zgorzelski in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

- Therefore, working in a team, which the Presidential Chancellery is, certainly over time has brought him not friends, but opponents, and perhaps even enemies. Because it is said that at least three ministers have formed such an alliance against him. I mean Minister Bogucki, Minister Przydacz, and Szefernakier here. […] In this confrontation, he had no chance - he stated.

Zgorzelski:

Trump is sacred to Nawrocki – and Cenckiewicz criticized him

- He managed to get on the president's bad side. Because questioning Trump's 'divinity' [...] in the face of the President was a bit like idolatry, because we know that Trump is simply sacred to President Nawrocki, and he criticized him - said Piotr Zgorzelski in TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach".

- Cenckiewicz is a Lefebvrist through and through, who adheres to traditionalist church teachings, a supporter of the Tridentine Mass, so in that dimension, he is very fundamentalist - he added.

"These are current understandings'. Kaczyński asked about Morawiecki

- These are current understandings. Today I also had contact with the Prime Minister [Mateusz Morawiecki], and they are being maintained. There are those who went beyond the understandings, but later seemed to withdraw from it. They stated that they were misunderstood. So, in short - things are not bad - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Republika.

Kaczyński:

Czarnek is a candidate for Prime Minister, there are two lungs

- Yes, [Przemysław Czarnek] is a candidate for Prime Minister, there are two lungs, of course they still need to be properly activated, because that is the council's matter - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Republika.

Kaczyński:

We Indeed Must Speak to Different Electorates

- We indeed must speak to different electorates. Both the right-wing and the more moderate one. Both the young and the more mature one. Both urban and rural. This diversity is absolutely necessary, and we have always done it and want to continue doing it, but today we are in a different situation. I'm not talking about the party's situation, but about Poland's - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Republika.

Kaczyński:

We Don't Rule Out a Coalition, But We Have One Condition

- There's a simple method for improving poll numbers – order your own. But I'm saying this as a joke, of course, although this joke relates to the reality in this sphere. Above all, one must work hard, and that's what we are doing right now - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Republika.

- We'll see how it goes, and we don't rule out a coalition, but we have one condition. That is, the government must be rational. There can't be any crazy ideas. It must be a government that knows what to do in this situation - he continued.
