- This 2026 is a year and will continue to be a year of acceleration. Despite all circumstances, the war, the world is shaking, a second war, huge political tensions provoked by the opposition and politicians from PiS, Konfederacja, and unfortunately also the Presidential Palace, despite the threat of recession caused by the war in the Middle East and high energy prices, despite all of this, Poland has become a leader in very many categories - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the National Convention of Civic Coalition (KO).

- This is a historic moment. This moment is not historic because a ruling political party is meeting at its gathering, its assembly. No, the circumstances are historic, this moment is a historic turning point, with its good and bad consequences, in Poland, in Europe, and around the world - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the Civic Platform National Council.

- Unlike those around us, we do not divide, but unite, the individual currents. We do not quarrel, we sometimes debate; it's known, emotions run high during elections, there's a struggle, but we emerge from this internal campaign very strong, united, without the doubts that plague so many political circles, and with the understandable ambition, awaited by many Poles, not only to govern the country well during these difficult years, but to set Poland back on the right track after this geopolitical turmoil - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the KO National Council.

- Yes, Poland has become the undisputed leader, including economically, of this part of Europe, a country with justified, highest ambitions. This G20 is just a shortcut on this path, it's like looking through a lens at the journey we've undertaken over these 2 years, and we wanted more. Many things await resolution, I am aware of that, but we, as Poland, Polish women, Polish men, and you as Civic Platform (KO), can walk with our heads held high, proud of what Poland has achieved - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the Civic Platform National Council meeting.

- This great confrontation, this geopolitical shock, Russia's aggressive intentions, which it no longer hides, not only towards Ukraine, but they will soon want to reach for Belarus, de facto they already have significant control over Belarus, they don't hide it, they have it in their plans, precisely written, that their goal is to rebuild the Russian Empire. The only question is within what borders. They do not hide that destabilizing Europe is their goal. All information we receive thanks to the work of our services, but also allied services, indicates that no one today has the right to underestimate the threat that comes from Russia, and no one can pretend that Russia does not have its people and allies in Europe, in the world, including here, in Poland - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the Civic Coalition (KO) National Council meeting.

- Putin's plan for our country is simple, clear, and undisguised. We can call this plan 'Putin's Five.' It is an attempt to break up, to weaken the EU, and it's the classic incitement against the EU, organized by people serving Russia's interests, including in Poland. We witness this every day. It's incitement against Ukraine. We are consciously bearing the burdens associated with the war in Ukraine. Yes, Polish women and men are bearing great burdens due to the mass migration of Ukrainian families to Poland in connection with the war in Ukraine. But no Polish patriot has any doubt that Ukraine's war against Russia is also a war in the interest of Polish security, and that Ukraine requires our support. There is no more important point in this 'Putin's Five' than to break Polish-Ukrainian solidarity - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the KO National Council.

- To pit Poland against Germany – a dream of the Russian authorities. For obvious reasons. A Poland feuding with Germany means a broken EU. Today, this close cooperation, very solidaristic, including on the issue of Ukraine, between Poland, the Northern Group, Scandinavia, the Baltic states, Germany, and Romania – yes, this is the bloc that today bears the main burden of defending Europe against the threat from Russia. And there is no equally important point in 'Putin's Five' as breaking this solidarity, this northern bloc. Inciting Poles against Germans is precisely the idea behind this - he continued.

- The fourth point in 'Putin's Five' is to block funds for armaments in Poland and in Europe. I don't need to remind you of the saga concerning SAFE. No one has a more obvious interest in blocking European money for Poland's armaments than Putin, and he was close to realizing this fourth point. And the fifth point – to destroy the institutions of a democratic state, of liberal democracy, to destroy or undermine the institutions of the rule of law, not only in Poland - added the Prime Minister.

- Putin's five points, listen, you might think. Don't you have the impression that I am reading today five points from Kaczyński's new five, an attack on the EU, inciting hatred towards Ukraine, conflict with Germany, blocked European money for armaments in Poland, an attack on state institutions. This is Putin's five points and it is Kaczyński's five points - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the Civic Platform National Council meeting.

- Not because I am a historian, but here the analogy imposes itself. Today's Targowica is an active force in Poland and Europe, and it is this Targowica that anticipates such political partitions of Poland and the entire continent. And then one can also say, from today's perspective, it's crystal clear that the Targowica was both stupidity and corruption, and a belief in traditional values that require defense against modernity, and plain agenturę. Yes, it was all there. I want to tell you that I am completely uninterested in whether betrayal wears the face of a fool, whether it wears the face of a sellout, or whether it wears the face of an agent, because betrayal is betrayal; it is the betrayal of Polish national interests - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the National Council of Civic Coalition (KO).

- Wherever we see the realization of Putin's and Moscow's political interests, including in Budapest, the people of Kaczyński, Nawrocki, Mentzen appear. They are wherever Putin wants them. I will say it again - I am not interested whether the source of these actions is stupidity, rubles, outright betrayal, espionage, or some insane world of ideas. Perhaps only a desire for revenge, perhaps only an unbridled desire to return to power, it doesn't matter what the reason is for these people acting for the new Russian order in Poland and in Europe - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the National Council of Civic Coalition (KO).

- I want to say that Poland, together with the USA, will work on a secure eastern border, but I also want to say that Poland will never allow itself to be used as a tool by anyone to break up the EU - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the National Convention of Civic Coalition (KO).

- These elections that lie before us will truly be elections that will be, de facto, a tough, final battle to maintain Poland's independence, security, unity, and position in Europe. About the most important matters, and no one can close their eyes anymore, no one has the moral or political right to pretend not to see what is happening - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the Civic Coalition's National Council meeting.

- We are all happy that we currently have a record lead over PiS, but we see very clearly that this confrontation is still 50/50, it's still a clash of two great political forces. - Communism simply didn't want talented people; it wanted people loyal to the cause. Call it the cause of communism, although in reality, it was the cause of Russian imperialism and chauvinism. Today, it would seem we are in a completely different situation, and we are, but sometimes I have the impression that some in Poland don't particularly care about development in this area or the overall development of our country, or perhaps not at all, and this is also something we need to fight against, something we need to realize - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Bydgoszcz.
