Korneluk on Ziobro's Defense Tactics:
Submitted a Package of Motions to Prevent Substantive Examination of the Case.
- From the accounts I received from prosecutor Piotr Woźniak, who participated in the hearing, it unequivocally follows that the defense of the suspect Zbigniew Ziobro submitted a whole package of formal motions, the purpose of which was one thing: to prevent the substantive examination of the case - said Dariusz Korneluk in an interview with Agata Adamek on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden" (One on One).
- Starting with formal motions that questioned, in general [...] whether Zbigniew Ziobro was even aware of yesterday's hearing - he continued.
- The court clearly and categorically stated that the defense counsel has full evidential material and there is no need to supplement it - he went on to say.
08:03
Korneluk on Ziobro:
His Credibility is Zero.
- Just look at the last two months, even one month, and analyze Mr. Ziobro's statements in the context of what we know today. His credibility, forgive me for this colloquialism, is zero - said Dariusz Korneluk on TVN24, when asked about Zbigniew Ziobro's statement regarding "criminal activity" allegedly directed at him and about martial law.
08:08
Korneluk:
No One Doubts the Prosecutor's Office is Functioning Correctly and the National Prosecutor Was Appointed Properly
- Today, no one has any doubts that the National Prosecutor's Office is functioning correctly, and the national prosecutor was appointed properly - said Dariusz Korneluk on TVN24.
- Mr. President is not a lawyer, nor is he a legal authority for me, however, Mr. President met with a retired prosecutor, Dariusz Barski - he continued after the host pointed out that not everyone, because even the president met with Dariusz Barski and said that he is the national prosecutor.
08:13
Korneluk on when and in what capacity Morawiecki will be questioned:
The prosecutor leading the investigation will make the decision.
- It is not the National Prosecutor who decides today who will be questioned, in what mode, and when they will be questioned. The reporting prosecutor leading this investigation from the Silesian branch will decide when and in what capacity Mr. Morawiecki will be questioned - said Dariusz Korneluk on TVN24, when asked about the RARS case and why Mateusz Morawiecki has not yet been questioned.

Tomczyk:
Poland will prepare sites for border mining, but actual mining only in case of real war threat
- Poland will prepare sites for border mining, but the actual mining may only occur when a crisis arises. So, to put it plainly, the East Shield involves building engineering barriers on one hand, and on the other, preparing sites for mining. However, the actual mining will only take place in the event of a real threat of war - said Cezary Tomczyk on “Gość Radia Zet”.

Tomczyk:
The President's Words Marginalize Us in the European Union
- The European Union is being reformed all the time, but it's words like the President's that cause us to marginalize ourselves. This means the President likely sees his political future with Viktor Orbán, who is in the absolute minority within the European Union, rather than with countries that can change the European Union. We are doing everything to ensure Poland is not under the table, but at the table. We have an influence on the most important decisions - said Cezary Tomczyk on "Gość Radia Zet".
08:17
Tomczyk:
During Poland's Presidency, We Didn't Just Accomplish the SAFE Program
- During Poland's presidency, we didn't just manage to do it; we created the extensive SAFE program, which will provide us with 200 billion zlotys for Polish defense. There has been no remilitarization of Europe on this scale before, and this is thanks to the Polish presidency and the Polish Prime Minister - stated Cezary Tomczyk on "Gość Radia Zet".
08:22
- I spoke with the prosecutor handling this case not too long ago, who doesn't rule out an indictment in the near future where it's possible in the context of not yet extraditing one person from Great Britain. However, such an indictment is possible once the role of Mr. K., for whom we are seeking extradition from Great Britain, is clarified... - said Dariusz Korneluk on TVN24.
- Yes, this is a matter of days, not months, and I hope, when we will learn the British court's decision - he continued, after the host pointed out that the request is to be considered soon.
- The investigators will decide on that. It's not impossible that such requests will be filed, it's not impossible, but I also don't confirm [...] it's not the national prosecutor who makes decisions today about what will happen in a given case - he went on to say, when asked if, in the context of this case, requests to lift the immunity of MPs or MEPs could be expected in the near future.
08:23
Domański on the End of the PL2050 Leadership Election:
It's Important That It Happens Quickly.
- I am primarily rooting for the swift conclusion of this electoral process within Poland 2050, for us to quickly learn the name of the new leader, be it a male or female leader of the coalition party, because this is naturally important for stability within the coalition and for our cohesion - stated Andrzej Domański on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.
- As I said, I think it's important that it happens quickly - the finance minister continued.
08:24
Siemoniak on Yesterday's Meeting with the President:
Firmly, but Politely.
- Thanks to the fact that this meeting had its clause, it was a confidential meeting, we with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz or the heads of services could simply talk about certain things very precisely. I think it was also valuable for the president in some way - said Tomasz Siemoniak in "Graffiti" Polsat News.
- There were questions about various issues, but of course there were also moments of a tougher conversation, differences of opinion. That's not bad at all. It's known that we come from different political camps. I'm talking about the politicians who were there - he continued.
- This meeting was very substantive with an agenda, [...] firmly, but politely. I didn't expect us to be joking around here, nor did I expect that - as the editor said - an axe would be hanging. It was somewhere in the middle, a normal conversation that should take place in a state - he stated.
08:29
Domański:
If the President Doesn't Sign the Budget, We Will Proceed with the Bill That Reached Parliament
- If Mr. President does not sign the budget, then we will proceed with the bill that reached parliament, meaning it will not contain those amendments, and to put it plainly, that additional funding simply won't be available until the budget bill is signed by the president - stated Andrzej Domański on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.
08:30
Siemoniak Surprised by the President's Spokesperson's Words:
The Meeting Had a Clause.
- The meeting had a clause, so I am a bit surprised that the President's spokesperson is saying quite a lot on this subject - said Tomasz Siemoniak on Polsat News' "Graffiti."
He commented in this way on Rafał Leśkiewicz's statement from yesterday.
08:31
Korneluk on the Notification Regarding Interference in the Poland 2050 Elections:
It Has Not Been Filed with the Prosecutor's Office.
- To date, no such notification has been filed with the National Prosecutor's Office [...] such a notification has also not been filed with the District Prosecutor's Office. If it does arrive, it will of course be processed, just like any other report of a crime - stated Dariusz Korneluk on TVN24, when asked whether a notification regarding potential interference in the election of the leader of Poland 2050 had been filed with the National Prosecutor's Office.
08:34
Tomczyk:
In 2026, We Will Heavily Invest in Reservist Training
- Today, we have a sufficient number of volunteers at the level of 40,000 annually for the basic voluntary military service. If we see a problem with this voluntary recruitment, or rather voluntary service, we will consider other solutions. Among the things I would like to mention today, for us, 2026 will be the year of the reserve. We will heavily invest in reservist training, there will also be special legal solutions for reservists, and we are introducing or will introduce the possibility for people with active mobilization assignments to also volunteer – said Cezary Tomczyk in “Gość Radia Zet”.
- It will be possible to sign up soon, a new recruitment will start in February using mObywatel. Anyone can click, it takes about 12 seconds – Cezary Tomczyk continued.
08:38
Siemoniak:
Services Were Not Involved in the Campaign. The President Heard This Directly from the Heads of Services, in a Professional Manner
- I can say this because I have also spoken about it publicly many times: the special services were absolutely not involved in the election campaign, and the president heard directly from the heads of services, in a professional manner, how these situations looked – said Tomasz Siemoniak in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.
- First and foremost, we conveyed the information that each of these matters is being investigated by the prosecutor's office. Simply put, the prosecutor's office is dealing with it. It's not as if we said "nothing happened" and that's that. The prosecutor's office is investigating each of the issues raised by the president. So, prosecutors, and eventually perhaps a court, will assess these situations. Whether this reassured the president? It's hard for me to say – he continued.
08:38
Domański:
We Must Brag About Poland's Economic Success
- This is not a fairy tale. In terms of the economic success that Poland has achieved over the last 35 years, it commands truly immense respect, practically from anyone I speak with among my counterparts in other countries, whether within the EU or more broadly in the world. And we must talk about this economic success of Poland, we must, in a way, brag about it - stated Andrzej Domański on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.
- Why? Because we want this success to continue. We want to build the foundations for long-term growth of the Polish economy. To achieve this, we need, among other things, more investment - he continued.
08:42
- The prosecution is investigating every matter raised by the president. So, prosecutors, and possibly a court in the future, will assess these situations. Did that calm the president down? It's hard for me to say - said Tomasz Siemoniak on Polsat News's "Graffiti," referring to the presidential spokesperson's statement that Karol Nawrocki expects clarification on suspicions regarding the involvement of special services in the electoral process.
- He said something along the lines of, "well, in such a situation, I will want to talk to Minister Żurek." I think that is a rational action. However, there is absolutely no question, there was no question, that the services were involved in any way - he emphasized.
08:52
Siemoniak on Officer Nominations:
There has never been such a practice where the President or his officials examine hundreds of names.
- These are, of course, his decisions, the President's decisions. There is no doubt that he can sign things, he can refuse to sign them. He said to send the applications back to him and reconsider them - said Tomasz Siemoniak in “Graffiti” on Polsat News.
- I am counting on - and I have also told the President this - that such matters should be removed from some kind of political struggle, because these are candidates for officers, absolutely deserving, tested, and thoroughly vetted. And there has never been such a practice where the President or his officials examine hundreds of names - he pointed out.
- That's what the services are for, to thoroughly vet such individuals. I can imagine there might be someone who raises doubts, raises a question. We will respond - he added.
09:09
- I believe the police and the Central Bureau of Investigation should look into it. I am very reserved about special services getting involved in party elections in any way – stated Tomasz Siemoniak on Polsat News's "Graffiti," when asked about Poland 2050's statement that the matter of "an external attempt at interference in their internal electoral process" should be investigated by the ABW (Internal Security Agency).
- Of course, if police experts need consultation, we have excellent specialists in the internet and cybercrime threats within the ABW. But it should be the prosecutor's office that decides who to commission, and how it should proceed. This issue must be approached very carefully, so as not to create the impression now that the ABW will be choosing [the winners] – he stated.

Kosiniak-Kamysz After Meeting with Lithuanian Minister of National Defence:
Our Alliance is the Strongest in History.
- Our meetings, our friendship, our alliance must be very strong. And it is the strongest in history. Our relations are very good, between the armed forces of Poland and Lithuania, which gives hope for a good perspective for this year - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference after meeting with the Lithuanian Minister of National Defence.
Construction of a Training Ground
- We discussed several important matters concerning Poland and Lithuania. One of the topics we announced earlier in our speeches was the discussion about a training ground located on the Lithuanian side, but close to the border with Poland. [...] This is an important initiative, and I would like to highly appreciate it and thank you - the head of the Ministry of National Defence continued.
- This is an area being prepared not only for the Lithuanian army but also for allied troops, American troops, German troops, which are being deployed in the territory of Lithuania. We discussed the possibility of Polish troops also training there, and I sincerely thank you for the invitation and for such an opportunity. [...] If the need arises, our engineering troops will join in the construction of this training ground - he further stated.
Cooperation in the EU, NATO Summit, and Military Exercises
- We discussed cooperation within the European Union; Poland and Lithuania are undertaking cooperation for joint procurement. We want to jointly utilize the SAFE instrument and make joint purchases. A topic that interests us as both manufacturers and users are the Piorun systems - Kosiniak-Kamysz added.
- We agreed on joint action in the European Union, so that from the Commission's side, there are not only loans for security but also subsidies, grants, and interest-free funds that do not need to be repaid. [...] We will jointly prepare for the next NATO summit - he emphasized.
- Another topic discussed today was the expansion of the East Shield and the Baltic Defense Line [...]. We are planning joint military exercises of Polish and Lithuanian troops this year - he mentioned.
11:16
- During the first three days of each month, for an unexcused absence of a Member of Parliament, meaning Mr. Zbigniew Ziobro, [...] we deduct 1/30 of the daily allowance for each day, we do not pay it out, and 1/30 of the salary. This means that during the first three days of the month, for being absent from a Sejm session, Mr. Minister Ziobro has 588 PLN deducted - Włodzimierz Czarzasty told journalists in the Sejm.
- Then, on each subsequent day of absence, meaning the fourth, fifth, sixth, depending on how many Sejm days there are in a given month, Mr. Ziobro has 3534 PLN deducted daily. And this process is ongoing without interruption from the moment Mr. Ziobro does not participate in the proceedings and this absence is unexcused - he explained.
- This continues up to the 18th day of the Member of Parliament's absence, up to the 18th day counted cumulatively over several months. January 21st marks the 18th day of Member of Parliament Zbigniew Ziobro's absence, so it will be on the first day of the next Sejm session. January 28th will be the deadline for the seven-day period to justify his absence - Czarzasty continued.
As he stated: - On January 29th [...] I will send a letter to the Chairman of the Regulations, MP Affairs and Immunities Committee, notifying them of the unexcused absences of Member of Parliament Zbigniew Ziobro for 18 consecutive days of Sejm sessions. […] The committee will forward its resolution on this matter [...] to me. From the committee's resolution, the Member of Parliament has the right to appeal to the Sejm Presidium within 14 days of its delivery.
- The committee can make the following decisions: draw the MP's attention, issue a reprimand to the MP, issue a censure to the MP. But if one of these three decisions is made, I have the option to submit a motion to the Sejm Presidium for the complete loss of parliamentary allowance and for a reduction of the MP's salary to 1/10 of their salary. And I will submit this motion to the Presidium meeting - announced the Marshal of the Sejm.
- If the Presidium makes such a decision, there will be a seven-day period for appeal, and after this procedure, if the decision aligns with my proposal, […] then from that day onwards, the Member of Parliament will receive a total monthly salary of 1350 PLN gross, meaning they will not have their allowance and will have 1/10 of their salary - he indicated.
11:25
Czarzasty:
It's hard to grant an excuse request when we see Ziobro in great shape on TV every day
- 17 days of absence… Zbigniew Ziobro did not submit a request for justification. If he submits a request for justification within 7 days from January 21, then that request will be granted or not granted – Włodzimierz Czarzasty told journalists in the Sejm.
- I am not pre-empting facts, but it is difficult to grant an excuse request when we see the minister in great shape on television every day. I believe he is currently in Budapest, if I recall correctly – he stated.
11:37
Kosiniak-Kamysz on Not Sending Soldiers to Greenland:
Poland Wants to Preserve Alliance Unity.
- This is the Polish strategy, where the unity of the West, the unity of the alliance, is paramount. Poland wants to preserve the unity of the alliance, Poland cares about what is important for our common security, and what is important? It is the cooperation of allies, led by the United States - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference after a meeting with the Lithuanian Minister of Defense, when asked about negative comments regarding the non-deployment of Polish soldiers to Greenland.
- There is no NATO without the United States, nor is there the strength and power of the United States without its participation in the North Atlantic Alliance. Therefore, Poland's role as a transatlantic nation is to connect, and today it is important that Denmark [...] which has exclusive rights to Greenland [...] reaches an agreement with the United States - he continued.
11:45
Kosiniak-Kamysz on Poland's Expectations of Ukraine:
The Principle of Reciprocity.
- Reciprocity, yes, I proposed this principle for the first time, so that there would be a donation [of military equipment] from our side, but from Ukraine, a sharing of the best experience they have gained over the last four years, namely drone-related matters concerning skills and the use of equipment - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference after meeting with the Lithuanian Minister of Defence.
- The principle of reciprocity, meaning we also expect support in drone operations - he continued.
11:52
Czarzasty:
You've seen photos of the undressed president. If that didn't make him think, it means he's not thinking
- There was a chance to bring order to internet affairs, to the affairs of individual internet platforms. It was a bill prepared by Prime Minister Gawkowski. And as we know, President Nawrocki vetoed it. Then, after 2 or 3 days, he saw for himself what vetoing this law meant. You have seen the pictures of the undressed Mr. President, his wife, his family, and I think that probably made him think. If that didn't make him think, it means he's not thinking - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

Morawiecki:
Tusk and his team boast about investments my government initiated or practically completed
- I see that Donald Tusk and his team, from time to time, boast about investments that my government initiated or practically completed – this time it’s the Jantar ferry – Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on social media.
- No problem, but if I had known that investments from my time would have to suffice for the next government, we would have started even more of them – he continued.

- We have submitted a draft law that will effectively prevent parental alienation. Every child has the right to contact with both parents. - Krzysztof Bosak wrote in a post on the X platform.
- We have submitted a project that many have been waiting for. This is a project aimed at effectively counteracting parental alienation. This is a problem experienced by an increasing number of parents. Unfortunately, especially fathers, but mothers of children are also subjected to this reprehensible procedure. This concerns people whose marriages have unfortunately dissolved, whose families have broken up, where a court has granted custody to one party, while meetings with the child for the other party are made difficult and impossible in various ways. - said Krzysztof Bosak in the attached recording.
- There were no provisions to overcome these difficulties and to punish such activity, which consists of hindering the execution of a court order for contact with one's own child. Because, in my opinion, this is an action against human rights. Every child has the right to have a mother and a father, has the right to contact with their mother and father, and it is not permissible to alienate them through manipulation of the child, even if the marriage dissolved under very inelegant circumstances. However, a mother is a mother, a father is a father, and a child, especially if the court has so decided, has the right to see both parents, and this should not be avoided. Interestingly, no one has addressed this issue. Our lawyers have been working on it for a long time. Among these lawyers is also my wife, but there is a significant initiative here from MP Przemysław Wipler and many others. - Krzysztof Bosak continued.
- It introduces both penal provisions and misdemeanor provisions enabling punishment for actions constituting the offense or crime of parental alienation. And I want to encourage you, which I rarely do, but I want to encourage you to take a look at the justification for this project. You will find this project on the Sejm's website. On the second page of the justification, you will find examples of provisions from other countries, and it turns out that such provisions already exist in many countries. We have examples from Bulgaria, France, Germany, and the Czech Republic discussed here. I will tell you that the severity of penalties for such practices surprised me; these are often very severe penalties, including imprisonment. - the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm continued.

PiS Submits Resolution Draft on EU-Mercosur Agreement:
We Demand Adoption at the Next Sejm Session.
"We are responding to the appeal of agricultural circles – we are submitting a draft resolution obliging the Council of Ministers to take legal action before the Court of Justice of the European Union in connection with the EU-Mercosur trade agreement", wrote Mariusz Błaszczak on X.
"The agreement with Mercosur countries is the culmination of this coalition's harmful actions. The government's inaction has led to this catastrophe, the consequences of which will be felt not only by farmers but by all of us. We demand the adoption of the resolution at the next Sejm session.", he continued in his post.

Morawiecki on Tusk:
Perhaps it's time for an indefinite long weekend in Sopot?
- A December opinion poll shows that as many as 54% of respondents are dissatisfied with Donald Tusk leading the government.
Since Mr. Prime Minister enjoys relaxing so much, perhaps it's time for an indefinite long weekend in Sopot? - wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

16:57
Sawicki:
There are full grounds to challenge the Mercosur Agreement
- This is a question of whether [the European Union] acts lawfully, because the negotiations with South America, with the Mercosur countries, were a delegation from 26 years ago, even before the Lisbon Treaty, and it was supposed to be membership of these countries in the European Union, and therefore both an economic and trade agreement, as well as a political agreement - said Marek Sawicki in an interview with Karol Surówka on PR1.
- Without a delegation from the European Parliament, the EU limited it only to a trade agreement, and that is why we, as PSL, say very openly, both in Brussels and here in the country, that there are full grounds to challenge this agreement, because it lacks treaty basis concerning the Lisbon Treaty - he pointed out.
- Therefore, if the EP does not do it, we will also oblige the Polish government, and within the government, we will also work towards preparing a lawsuit against the EU at the Court of Justice on this matter - he added.
17:08
Sawicki:
Unfortunately, Ziobro Has Been Winning for the Last 2 Years
- I believe that on the matter of Zbigniew Ziobro, unfortunately, Zbigniew Ziobro has been winning over the last two years of this coalition. He is winning through the manipulation of the prosecution service, which he built for 10 years. He staffed the prosecution service for 10 years, and the prosecutors' incompetence in filing the motion to lift immunity first, and then the indictment in court, is simply astounding to me - Marek Sawicki said in the "Conversation of the Day" on PR1.
17:10
- I am convinced - and this is my personal opinion - that the prosecutors handling this case are more loyal to Zbigniew Ziobro, who appointed them to service, than to the Republic and the constitution - said Marek Sawicki in "Rozmowa dnia" on PR1.
- Do you mean to say that Zbigniew Ziobro still has his Trojan horse in the prosecutor's office? Does he still have his people? - asked Karol Surówka.
- A horse? This is Zbigniew Ziobro's stud farm, which is still operating excellently. In many cases concerning politicians, we have a situation where the prosecution plays with all sorts of loopholes and leads to a situation where, after two years, do we have any convicted PiS politician? And yet, for so many years, the media and politicians have reported on abuses, on the embezzlement of huge sums of money, billions of zlotys. And here, so far, we don't have a single legally binding verdict - replied the PSL MP.
17:14
Morawiecki on Tusk’s Government:
Zero Vision, Zero Ambition, Zero Projects.
- Do you know what the biggest project of Tusk’s government is? It’s a project called: “It’ll somehow work out, see you tomorrow.” Because their strategy is not a strategy for years, it’s not a strategy for terms in office. It's written for 24 hours, roughly like that. Just to get through the day, just to decide nothing. Just to avoid taking responsibility. Zero vision, zero ambition, zero projects - stated Mateusz Morawiecki in a recording published on social media.
- Donald Tusk is afraid to set ambitious goals, he is afraid of big decisions, he is afraid of responsibility. That's why instead of development, we have drift. Instead of a plan, we have improvisation. Instead of a state with ambition, we have a state on autopilot. And the question is: is this the Poland you want for yourself and for your children? I want an ambitious, strong, developing, secure Poland - emphasized the former prime minister.
Zero wizji. Zero odwagi. Zero przyszłości. 👎🏻

If Poland 2050 Developed at the Pace of Their Miraculous Proliferation of Voters, One Could Only Envy Them
- I don't know if it was [interference in Poland 2050's elections] from the outside or from within. I only know one thing – that in the first round, I think about 650-odd people voted, and in the second round, there was a miraculous proliferation of voters to about 26,000 people. So, if Poland 2050 were to develop at such a pace, [...] one could only envy them - said Marek Sawicki in "Rozmowa dnia" on PR1.
19:22
Jaki:
There's a Mega Trend Towards the Right. People in Times of Chaos Seek Order
- There is such an evident, every sociologist will tell you, mega trend towards the right. Not only in Poland but also in Europe, because people in times of chaos are looking for some order. They are tired of hearing about 256 genders when they see there are two. They are tired of hearing the Earth is burning when they see -17 degrees outside, so they are looking for order - stated Patryk Jaki in "Guest of Events" on Polsat News.
- And now the question is, how our formation, the largest right-wing formation in Poland, will be able to respond to this. I understand that the direction set by the leader of our camp is as follows: we need to find a candidate who will be able to respond to these trends and present a very interesting program - he continued.
19:23
- I am always pleased when I am considered in such analyses, but I believe our party has many better candidates than me. However, I am also available - stated Patryk Jaki on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".
- I think these names [Tobiasz Bocheński, Zbigniew Bogucki, Przemysław Czarnek] are being most seriously considered, but we will see. Of course, the PiS chairman will decide - he noted.
19:25
Jaki on Morawiecki:
It would be good if we all played together on this matter.
- I did not hear such a condition, but I believe that Prime Minister Morawiecki has done a lot of good for our country, especially when it comes to public finances, so he is definitely an important part of our camp and it would be good if we all played together on this matter, regardless of what decision is made - stated Patryk Jaki on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".
19:31
Jaki on Piecha's words:
He's rambling, he doesn't know what he's talking about.
- I have no doubts, but not only do I have no doubts, but most importantly, Polish courts have no doubts. Because I remind you that in this matter, there is a fundamental, essential difference between the case of Mateusz Morawiecki and Zbigniew Ziobro, precisely because no one is requesting an arrest warrant for Morawiecki. So Mr. Piecha is rambling, he doesn't know what he's talking about - stated Patryk Jaki on "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.

Kaczyński Appeals for Resistance:
Ventures from the East and West Are Trying to Take Our Freedom.
- History has given us almost 37 years of freedom, but we must know today, right today, that this freedom is once again threatened in various ways - said Jarosław Kaczyński in Starachowice.
- This is not a time for political stories, political dissertations, but we must remember this fact and remember that the lives, life stories of people like the late Jadwiga Kaczyńska, the late Lech Kaczyński, the late Przemysław Gosiewski, the late heroes honored here on this land, and very, very, very many Poles, are what we should build upon our readiness to, today, in different conditions, incomparably better, but still difficult, not only fight, but fight to ensure Poland remains free - he continued.
- For Poles to remain free, for all these ventures from the East, but unfortunately also from the West, which are trying to take away this freedom from us – national freedom, personal freedom, freedom of speech, and in time, if we do not oppose them, all other freedoms – that all of this will meet with resistance, with a firm "no" - he went on to say.
- We can express this "no" in various ways, but the decisive moments are when we can say "yes" or "no" to those who are currently leading this process of taking away our achievements, the achievements of the 1980s - he added.

- I would say it's routine, there's nothing exceptional here, it's all described, these individual steps are described in the regulations that apply to all MPs. The absences of MP Ziobro have been counted, there are algorithms that determine the procedure in this matter - said Marek Siwiec in an interview with Dorota Wysocka-Schnepf on TVP Info's "Question of the Day," when asked about the fact that "Marshal Czarzasty decided to very harshly deal with Zbigniew Ziobro's absences from Sejm sessions."
- I wouldn't judge whether it was harsh or not, I would just say it's routine - he continued.

Szydło Critically Assesses EC Actions:
Hungarians Need Our Solidarity.
- Brussels is withholding funds from Hungary to manipulate voter decisions and remove Prime Minister Orbán's government from power. Where have we heard this before? With democracy on its lips, the European Commission is violating democratic standards - wrote Beata Szydło on social media.
- It is becoming a threat to European democracy itself. It is using the same methods against Hungary that it has already practiced in Poland to install a compliant government in Warsaw. These methods are financial blackmail, hypocrisy, and lies. Therefore, Hungarians need our solidarity – in the name of principles and in the name of freedom. They have the right to make decisions in elections without external pressure - emphasized the PiS MEP.
Brussels is withholding funds for Hungary to manipulate voters’ decisions and push the government of @PM_ViktorOrban out of power. We know this story well. With the word “democracy” on its lips, the European Commission is violating democratic standards. It is itself becoming a…

Siwiec on the Ziobro Case:
Courts Simply Operate Independently.
- Really, all of us who are watching this should acknowledge at least one thing [...] these courts simply operate independently - said Marek Siwiec on TVP Info.
- I am not here to persuade, I just look at the facts. One fact was that a motion was filed, that the motion was considered, so since a motion was filed, a decision concerning that motion must be made as it stands, and that's it. - he continued, after the host pointed out that Zbigniew Ziobro does not believe this.
- He set himself a deadline of the fifth, and what? It is the fifth. The fifth is just as good as the fourth or the sixth. I really do not comment and strongly advise against [...] it's not like if the verdicts please us, we applaud, and if some don't, we growl, because then we appear unserious. - he went on to say, when asked that in connection with the court's decision that there will be no change of judge, the court will consider the motion for arrest for Ziobro on February 5th, and could have done so already.

Siwiec on Czarzasty's Expectations Towards Germany:
They Are Reportedly Working on It, We Await Results.
- In the first point, Marshal [Czarzasty] demanded that these humanitarian reparations be paid immediately, quickly, while these people are still alive, secondly, in a dignified amount, and thirdly, for life - said Marek Siwiec on TVP Info.
- The answer was that they understand what we mean and are reportedly working on it, we await results, there are no results yet - he continued.

Siwiec on the President and the veto on the DSA:
He has a 20th-century imagination, he has no idea what's happening online.
- The presidential veto was the veto of a man who has a 20th-century imagination, I don't want to say earlier, he has no idea what's happening online. The threats online are algorithms and liars, not censorship, which the president supposedly wants to fight, and which Musk applauds, who is simply a hypocritical man pursuing his own interests - said Marek Siwiec on TVP Info.
