Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty has become the leader of the New Left Party - it was announced on social media.

- Europe can do more. Europe should be a strong partner in shaping the rules of the new global economy, not an object of others' strategies. That is why I speak of an economic NATO, a North Atlantic Trade Alliance – this is precisely what we should achieve together with the USA, Canada, and other NATO countries - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during the Atreju 2025 conference.

- I proposed a NAFTA-type agreement. A free trade zone between the USA and the European Union. Together, NATO countries, all of us together, with the EU, accounted for almost half of global GDP. - The Left in government is a team that delivers. A team of fulfilled promises, government successes such as the introduction of the widow's pension, the Active Parent program, the development of the mObywatel application, the introduction of a free Christmas Eve, the construction of affordable rental housing by local governments, renovation of student dormitories and construction of new ones. The inclusion of 'junk contracts' and self-employment agreements in work experience would not have been possible without the daily work of left-wing ministers - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the National Congress of the New Left.

- Goals lie ahead of us that will be achieved within this term. We will see the first rental apartments built by Tomasz Lewandowski. Krzysztof Gawkowski will ensure that we can book doctor's appointments via a smartphone app. Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk will demonstrate that reducing working hours while maintaining wages is possible - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the National Congress of New Left. 

- Marcin Kulasek, unlike Czarnek, guarantees the independence of Polish science. Katarzyna Kotula will present the law on the status of the closest person, Anita Sowińska will ensure a smoothly functioning deposit system - he continued.

- However, there are goals whose realization horizon extends beyond the current parliamentary term and President Nawrocki's term. We will fight to restore full rights for women, for the complete separation of church and state, and we will oppose the climate catastrophe, but we know that this fight will not end at least as long as President Nawrocki remains president - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the National Congress of New Left. 
 

- The man [Karol Nawrocki] is built from nationalist obsessions, a continuator of Roman Dmowski's worst traditions, and not the intellectual version, but the stadium-level one. - I will fight Nawrocki when he tries to attack our Constitution or burden the Sejm with populist laws, serving to sow discord in society - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the National Congress of New Left.

- As Marshal of the Sejm, I would prefer to have a more conciliatory partner as president. I repeat – as Marshal of the Sejm, I would prefer to have a more conciliatory president as a partner. - A coalition of PiS, Braun, and Mentzen with President Nawrocki is an evil coalition. The majority of Poles are perfectly aware of this. I do not want such a government. If we instill hope in their hearts, if we show tens of millions of Poles that the right-wing wave can be stopped, then in 2 years we will build a great white-red wall that will stop the flood of nationalists, haters, antisemites, madmen, and thieves - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the National Congress of New Left. 

- We must be like one fist in the coalition. I am a patriot of this coalition and a part of it. Nowa Lewica, together with our partners, will fight for victory in the 2027 elections - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the National Congress of Nowa Lewica.

- I am against changing the Constitution. It is enough that we abide by it. You don't change the Constitution with people who break it. You don't negotiate with terrorists - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the National Congress of New Left.

- The principle remains in effect at all times – there is no enemy on the Left. I will strive for a left-wing coalition before the parliamentary elections. Our partner, and in reality, a friend, are certainly the trade unions, OPZZ, ZNP. There is no strong social democracy without trade unions. I cannot imagine the Left without an alliance with UP and PPS – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the National Congress of New Left.

- The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland has proposed to the Ukrainian side a meeting between Presidents Andrzej Duda and Volodymyr Zelenskyy on December 19th in Warsaw. Details of the planned visit are being finalized.
