Szłapka on Government Reconstruction:

Coalition Leaders Will Certainly Still Meet Early Next Week.
- That is already a question for Szymon Hołownia [regarding his parliamentary leave], but the coalition leaders are meeting, they are in constant contact. They will probably still be meeting early next week. July 22nd is a Tuesday, and as we know, [the government reconstruction] will be after the 22nd, during the Sejm session – said Adam Szłapka in an interview with Radomir Wit on TVN24’s “One on One”. - So there will be a few more moments for the final touches, and I think that this reconstruction will be announced next week without any concerns – he added.

08:14

Szłapka on Postponing the Government Reconstruction Deadline:

There Will Be No Tragedy.
- The fact that there will be a reconstruction has been announced many months ago. The Prime Minister himself said from the very beginning that around the middle of the term – and certainly after the presidential elections, regardless of their outcome – there will be a time for evaluation and saying: "this worked well, this needs improvement, this needs to be accelerated" – Adam Szłapka said in "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24. - The Prime Minister announced that it would happen after the elections, he announced July 15th. And it was postponed at the request of Szymon Hołownia – he had some needs in this regard for a postponement – and the coalition partners agreed to it. So it's this week's delay, but there will be no tragedy here. It is postponed by a week to the time of the Sejm session – he stated.

Szłapka:

I Cannot Accept People Like Braun in Politics. The State's Reaction Must Be Immediate
- This is vile. [...] I cannot accept people like Grzegorz Braun in politics. I simply cannot. I understand that he deliberately provokes, but he breaks the law. [...] I believe there can be no doubt for even a moment. The state's reaction must be absolutely immediate - said Adam Szłapka in "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24. - This is a question for the services and the prosecution. I would like this reaction to be immediate and now. [...] I know that the Prosecutor General, Minister Adam Bodnar, has also spoken with his deputy, who is the head of the IPN division. The prosecution is conducting an investigation into this matter - he continued. - Over a month ago, the European Parliament had already lifted Grzegorz Braun's immunity in previous cases, and in this matter, the prosecution is already preparing a request to the court for further steps. And I know that for further charges against Grzegorz Braun, a request has been sent to the EP - he went on.

08:30

Szłapka:

The Grzegorz Braun Cases are So Well Documented, the Court Will Have No Doubts in Delivering a Verdict
- The cases concerning Grzegorz Braun are so well documented – we know that charges have already been formulated in the first 7 cases, work is ongoing in the prosecution for another 6, and in this case [of denying the genocide at Auschwitz] – that I believe the court will have no doubts in delivering a verdict here – stated Adam Szłapka in the TVN24 program „Jeden na jeden” (One on One).

08:45

Szłapka Addresses PiS:

No one should consider cooperating with Braun.
- I believe that no one, on any matter, should talk to someone like Braun when it comes to politics, and should not consider any cooperation with him at all - said Adam Szłapka in "One on One" on TVN24. - Today, Jarosław Kaczyński and some PiS politicians say this is outrageous, but I remember that directly before the elections, they spoke very warmly about Grzegorz Braun. I would like them to distance themselves so completely that they will not cooperate with him in any way, because I cannot imagine any cooperation with someone who poisons the public space in Poland - he stated.

08:53

Could Konfederacja Co-govern with Civic Coalition? Wipler: Yes. Although the Ideal Scenario is Without Any Coalition Partner
- Yes. Although the ideal scenario is without any coalition partner – said Przemysław Wipler in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia Zet", when asked if Konfederacja could co-govern with Civic Coalition. - They lack imagination, but this is, I think, many listeners, I understand this, answered not the question of whether we could co-govern with Civic Platform, or Civic Coalition, but whether they would like us to govern [...] the fact that something is theoretically possible, that it is possible in terms of negotiations, does not mean that it is good, optimal, or desirable – he continued, commenting on the results of a poll in which 27% of respondents answered "yes" to the same question, and 73% answered "no".

08:57

Wipler:

Of Course I Condemn Braun's Words. Such Statements Scandalously Harm Poland
- Of course, just as Sławomir Mentzen did in his social media post, such statements scandalously harm Poland - Przemysław Wipler said on Radio Zet, when asked if he condemned Grzegorz Braun's words about gas chambers. - When it comes to gas chambers, I believe Captain Pilecki, a great Pole, a great Polish patriot, much more - he continued.

09:03

Will Braun Face Trial? Wipler: Probably in the Longer Term. In a Normal Country, Such Cases Would Have Been Closed Long Ago
- Probably in the longer term, yes, as for other things, because let's recall that Grzegorz's immunity has already been lifted in I believe 7 cases, and he has 7 different other proceedings. This is a good question for Minister Bodnar and for those responsible for the Polish judiciary, why, in a normal country where the judiciary operates normally, such cases would have been closed long ago, one way or the other - Przemysław Wipler said on Radio Zet when asked if he thought Grzegorz Braun would face trial for his Auschwitz lie. - It sometimes seems to me that Grzegorz Braun is a convenient opposition politician for the ruling party - he continued.

09:03

Tusk Should Leave as Soon as Possible, Many PL2050 and PSL Voters Agree, Says Błaszczak on Poll
- Another poll and another confirmation that Donald Tusk is not fit to be Prime Minister and should leave as soon as possible. This is confirmed not only by our voters but also by many people who vote for PL2050 and PSL. Tusk remaining in the position of Prime Minister harms Poland - wrote Mariusz Błaszczak on the X portal. The head of the PiS parliamentary club attached to the post the lead of an article from the Radio ZET portal: "Over half of Poles participating in the IBRIS poll commissioned by Radio ZET believe that Donald Tusk is not an effective Prime Minister. Interestingly, four out of ten voters of Szymon Hołownia's and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz's parties, which co-create the ruling coalition, hold this opinion."

09:09

Wipler Announces Confederation's Project on Confiscation of Vehicles Transporting Illegal Migrants for the State Treasury:

Even if it's a German police car.
- In the coming days, we will submit a draft bill that aims to ensure that a vehicle used to transport illegal immigrants is subject to confiscation of property for the benefit of the State Treasury, even if it is a German police car - said Przemysław Wipler on Radio Zet. - So that cars used for human smuggling in Poland are subject to requisition, along with a fine of 100,000 zlotys - he continued.

09:14

Wipler:

We are Finalizing Work on the Draft Law on the Deportation Court
- Yes [we would not want to accept immigrants from countries with which we do not have readmission agreements], we are working on a deportation court that would quickly make such decisions – said Przemysław Wipler on Radio Zet. - A special court, specializing in deportation procedures and well-versed in migration law. We are finalizing work on such a draft law. We are working on it, we have it almost ready, we are consulting on it, probably in September we will be able to submit it to parliament – he continued.

09:26

KO Politicians Retreating from 'Beer with Mentzenem'? Wipler: Wimps, What They're Doing is Unserious
- Wimps. For me, a situation where someone is so extremely unserious that they shake hands and say: okay, let's have a joint beer and we'll broadcast it, with thousands of people in the hall, and hundreds of thousands, if not millions, watching our conversation... - said Przemysław Wipler on Radio Zet, when asked about KO politicians "retreating" from "Beer with Mentzenem" by setting conditions for their participation in this event. - An open meeting, a full stage of people, two thousand people in Rzeszów, two guys come out with beer and start roasting each other. This is supposed to be a political roast. [...] Beer with Mentzenem is political stand-up - he continued. - If Minister Sikorski agreed to participate in this, set the conditions, and then, after people [say] "oo, you're promoting beer," "oo, you're shaking hands with someone who needs to be cordoned off" etc., and these people, after initially agreeing, confirming their participation, withdraw [their participation], then it is unserious - he went on to say.

10:53

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

A Deputy Prime Minister for Poland 2050? Talks are About November. The Prime Minister's Words Don't Differ from What Was on the Table
- If Poland 2050 were to have a Deputy Prime Minister, then the discussion is entirely about November, at the time when, according to the coalition agreement, the change in the position of the [Sejm] Marshal was supposed to occur. So nothing else, no other topic was discussed, therefore, what the Prime Minister said does not differ from what was put on the table - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Mariusz Piekarski on the TVP Info program "Gość poranka". - Various options are possible, we simply need to talk, negotiate, agree, and move forward. [...] The Prime Minister said "now" [....] we, and we are sticking to this, agreed that discussions take place at the table, and then together, in accordance with our agreement, we go out and communicate as a coalition what has been agreed upon - she continued.

11:07

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

Polska 2050 Expects Responsibility for Housing. It Should Be Centralized and Linked to Regional Policy
- We will not be a mere ornament in this coalition; we want to make changes, good changes for Poland - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info. - Polska 2050 expects responsibility for important areas, such as housing, which should be centralized. Part of this housing policy is within the Ministry of Funds, and the National Property Stock - she continued. - We are not talking about taking over [the housing sector]; we are talking about responsibility for matters to be able to implement them and carry out these reforms effectively. At this moment, a large, as I understand it, economic ministry is being established, meaning a change in the government's structure. Within this structural change, which we accept, it is a wise approach to have such a large economic ministry. However, housing has much less in common with a large economic ministry than with regional policy, which is absolutely fundamental - she further explained. - I believe it is right for regional policy to be linked with housing - she added, responding to the host's suggestion to openly say, "Yes, I want responsibility for housing in my ministry."

11:12

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Responds to Tusk's Words:

We Are Not Blackmailing Anyone.
- We are not blackmailing anyone. I am not here to judge the Prime Minister, but we are not blackmailing anyone. We consider our presence in this coalition as a responsibility towards Poles, and we must sit down and agree, not on the basis of some forceful mutual solutions - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in TVP Info, when asked about Prime Minister Donald Tusk's words, "We didn't get married. If it turns out that someone doesn't like it or someone goes too far, we will say goodbye. I won't be blackmailed, this method doesn't work on me."

11:30

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Questions Regarding Her Daughter:

Absolutely Disgraceful, TVP United People from Right to Left.
- Journalists have the right to ask difficult questions, what's more, they should ask difficult questions; I am very much in favour of that, but there is a difference between a witch hunt and difficult questions. And using family members to attack politicians is disgraceful - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info, when asked about the outrage over a question about her daughter and her work in the party, which was posed during the program "Trójkąt polityczny" (Political Triangle) on TVP. - A political party is a social and private institution. Financed partly from the budget, partly from membership fees, and partly from private donations. No party is obliged to account for whom it employs. A party can employ whomever it sees fit. My daughter is knowledgeable in social media and is doing a very good job - she continued. - Please listen to this conversation yourself, to see how it looked. It looked like an absolute witch hunt, because I answered, and instead of saying "she knows her stuff, good, we've finished the conversation," a very unpleasant onslaught began, which was then continued by anonymous media, directly attacking my daughter - she went on to say. - This is disgraceful, it is absolutely disgraceful, and truly, for the first time, TVP has united people from the right to the left, who said: such things are disgraceful, to use family members to attack politicians. If someone has a problem with me, I am always ready to talk [...] about matters that I deal with publicly and that I know violate the entrenched interests of various groups, please talk to me, leave my family alone - she added.

13:40

This is How Historical and Cultural Policy is Implemented. A Riddle - For Which State?
"The text of the Warsaw Uprising oath is disappearing from the Museum of the Second World War; a German name appears on a bridge in Wrocław; the White Eagle is disappearing from the auditorium of the University of Wrocław, replaced by a portrait of a Prussian king; the symbol of Fighting Poland is disappearing from the Ministry of Climate and Environment" - Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on X.

"The inscription 'Poczta Polska' is disappearing from the Gdańsk post office, replaced by the inscription 'Postamt'; the Museum of Gdańsk is calling Wehrmacht soldiers 'Our Boys' and describing service in the Nazi army as 'excitement caused by a new experience and the opportunity to see previously unknown aspects'" - he continued in his post.

"The Pilecki Institute is halting the documentation of Russian war crimes in Ukraine; in Berlin, the Pilecki Institute cancelled a conference on art looted by Germany during World War II because it was inconvenient during the Polish presidency. This is how historical and cultural policy is implemented. Now, the riddle - for which state?" - he concluded.

14:10

"Is This a Coordinated Action?': Kaczyński on Braun's Words and the 'Our Boys"Exhibition
"Is this a coordinated action? First, Braun questioning the Holocaust and the crimes in Auschwitz, and now people from the December 13 coalition creating the scandalous exhibition 'Our Boys,' which is intended to subtly blur responsibility for the tragedy of World War II, and even attribute it to Poles" - Jarosław Kaczyński wrote on X. "This is a blow to Poland's raison d'état and a undermining of obvious historical facts! It is outrageous that this procedure is being legitimized by people holding power in Poland. This says a lot..." - he continued.

15:56

Sikorski:

Russia, Not European Taxpayers, Should Pay for American Military Aid to Ukraine
- From a briefing, this time remote, by the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, we learned that President Trump announced that the US will produce equipment for Ukraine. I asked my fellow ministers who should pay for this equipment: European taxpayers, or – in my opinion – wouldn’t it be better for the aggressor to pay for it with frozen assets – said Radosław Sikorski at a press briefing in Brussels. - Ukraine's situation is dramatic. Putin has increased attacks on civilian targets, and we hope that this 50-day period before potential American sanctions come into effect is a period for increasing pressure on the Russian Federation to finally come to its senses – he continued.

16:05

Sikorski:

I'm Very Glad the US President Reached Conclusions We in the EU Reached Earlier
- I am very glad that the US President has reached these conclusions, which we in the EU reached earlier – namely, that Putin does not want peace, that Ukraine agrees to an unconditional ceasefire, and that the only language Putin understands is the language of pressure – said Radosław Sikorski at a press briefing in Brussels.

16:22

Deportation of Georgian and Moldovan Citizens from Poland. Government Spokesperson on Details
- Another return operation carried out by the Border Guard in cooperation with the Frontex agency. Today, on board a plane that took off from Radom, 27 Georgian citizens and 13 Moldovan citizens were forced to leave Poland. This is another operation of this type, which is the deportation from Poland of individuals who pose a threat to public order and security - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference. - These are individuals who received decisions obliging them to return due to defense considerations. This procedure is ongoing, and we will inform about further instances - he continued.

16:26

Szłapka Presents Numbers on Border Checks with Lithuania and Germany:

The Situation is Absolutely Under Control.
- For over a week now, temporary checks have been in place at the border with Lithuania and Germany. From July 7th to 14th, a total of [...] exactly 127,200 people were checked on both these borders. On both these borders, the situation is under control [...] if the situation requires it, the Border Guard refuses entry. On the border with Germany, 24 individuals were refused entry into the territory of the Republic of Poland - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference. - Poland's border with Belarus [...] is sealed. The situation at the border with Lithuania [...] and at the border with Germany is absolutely under control and there is full oversight from state services - he continued.

16:41

Easier for Entrepreneurs and Elimination of Abuses in Pre-Trial Detention. Szłapka on Government Session Topics
- We are continuing deregulation; today at the Council of Ministers session, one deregulatory project was discussed. [...] We discussed a bill amending the act on the social security system; the obligation for entrepreneurs to keep paper social security notifications to ZUS will be abolished - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference. - The second matter we discussed was a bill amending the Code of Criminal Procedure and certain other acts. [...] The essential part of this bill is the elimination of the most controversial provisions introduced by Zbigniew Ziobro's amendments. This concerns, for example, the abuse of pre-trial detention, and the use of [...] evidence in criminal proceedings obtained illegally - he continued. - The third bill is a bill amending the act on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict. [...] these solutions are extended regularly, so this is about an extension. [...] The next project is a bill amending the information system in healthcare and the act on civil protection and civil defense. [...] a new central IT system will be created, which will allow for better coordination and more efficient operation of the entire healthcare system. [...] this entire change is financed by EU funds - he went on to say. Adam Szłapka also informed that the government dealt with projects concerning collective water supply and plant protection against pests.

16:48

exhibition:

The title is unacceptable from my perspective." Szłapka on the "Our Boys
- The title of this exhibition is, of course, unacceptable from my perspective, and it's hard for me to agree with such an unfortunate naming, but it's an important topic, because the drama of very many Polish citizens was their forced conscription into various tasks by Nazi Germany - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference, when asked about the "Our Boys" exhibition.

16:56

Bąkiewicz Pardon? Szłapka: Outrageous, Duda is Ending His Presidency Poorly
- President Andrzej Duda, at the end of his presidency [...] has decided to pardon a man who is overflowing with hatred, contempt for others, and also contempt for state institutions, because the recent images we saw captured from the border, where Robert Bąkiewicz was visible, showed him insulting Polish officers, reviling the Polish uniform - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference. - Of course, the case for which Robert Bąkiewicz was pardoned does not concern this. I hope that the prosecution will conduct proceedings in these other cases as quickly as possible, but this is simply disgraceful, there is no other way to describe it, and it shows very clearly that this is all one team, Law and Justice, Bąkiewicz, and I think we can safely say Braun too, because we also remember what Law and Justice politicians said before the second round of the presidential elections [...] the president is ending his presidency poorly, because this is outrageous - he continued.

17:01

Foreign Ministry Protests in the Vatican After Bishops' Statements. Sikorski: Interference in Party Politics is Contrary to the Concordat
- As you know, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has submitted a demarche to the Holy See, protesting against the scandalous statements of two Polish bishops - said Radosław Sikorski at a press briefing in Brussels. The statements in question were made by Wiesław Mering and Antoni Długosz. - On July 11, during the Jasna Góra Appeal, Bishop Antoni Długosz publicly supported Robert Bąkiewicz's Border Defence Movement. On July 13, Bishop Wiesław Mering stated that "we are governed by people who define themselves as Germans". [...] Bishop Mering also referred to the Polish government using the term "political gangsters" - reads the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As Sikorski further stated: - Grzegorz Braun also has freedom of speech, but denying the Holocaust is punishable by law in Poland. And similarly, interfering in party politics is contrary to the concordat.

17:04

"Final Touches": Szłapka on the Personal Assistant Act
- This is a very important project, Minister Krasoń is working on it [...] from what I've checked recently, it's at the stage of the Permanent Committee of the Council of Ministers, meaning, so to speak, the final touches are being applied - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference, when asked about the personal assistant act.

17:06

Sikorski:

I See No Basis for Awarding the Order of the White Eagle to Mr. Bąkiewicz
- I see no basis for awarding the Order of the White Eagle to Mr. Bąkiewicz – Radosław Sikorski stated at a press briefing in Brussels. When asked about President Andrzej Duda's partial pardon of Bąkiewicz, he reiterated: - I do not support awarding the Order of the White Eagle to Mr. Bąkiewicz, just as I did not support awarding this order to the confabulator and bungler Macierewicz.

17:25

Tusk on Bąkiewicz's Pardon:

This Team with Nawrocki, Kaczyński, and Braun Won't Stop at Anything to Regain Power.
"The pardon of Bąkiewicz by President Duda is not only a scandal in a human, moral dimension. It is also a political signal that this entire team, together with Nawrocki, Kaczyński, and Braun, will not stop at anything to regain power. It's time for everyone to understand this" - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on X.

18:04

Duda Responds to Tusk:

The Scandal is the Lawlessness You've Introduced Since December 13th.
"The scandal in a moral, human dimension, Mr. Prime Minister, is the lawlessness that you have been introducing since December 13, 2023. The people showed you what they think about it by electing Karol Nawrocki as president. I have written extensively about your exploits in my book 'That's Me'. There will be plenty to read." - wrote President Andrzej Duda on X.

18:58

Śliwka:

The Border Defence Movement is a Praiseworthy Part of Bąkiewicz's Activity. Perhaps This Determined the President's Decision
- I look at Mr. Bąkiewicz's recent activities, concerning his work in the Border Defence Movement, such pro-patriotic activities. I believe this is indeed a praiseworthy part of his work. If this might have determined the president's decision, then one would have to ask the president himself for details about what caused this decision to be made. However, I believe that this decision, in this regard, seems appropriate - said Andrzej Śliwka in an interview with Agata Kondzińska on PR1.

19:05

Śliwka:

Why Doesn't Bąkiewicz Have the Right to Clemency, While Others, Even from the Left, Did?
- We are talking about instruments that were applied in accordance with the law. For God's sake, why doesn't Mr. Bąkiewicz have the right to clemency, while, for example, other people, associated even with the left, had the right to clemency? - said Andrzej Śliwka in PR1's "Rozmowa dnia" (Interview of the Day). - Bronisław Komorowski, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, and Lech Wałęsa were the politicians who most often used the right of clemency, and we perfectly remember that they also used this right in relation to politicians from their own political camp. Mr. Bąkiewicz is not a member of PiS, Mr. Bąkiewicz often also takes a critical approach to PiS - he continued.

19:27

Śliwka:

Confederation Often Disagrees with PiS, and in Some Aspects Aligns with PO
- Confederation, our colleagues from Confederation, many of whom I highly value and respect, often have a different opinion from PiS, and in some aspects their views align with PO politicians - said Andrzej Śliwka in "Rozmowa dnia" (Conversation of the Day) on PR1, responding to the observation that PiS faces growing competition on the right from Confederation and Confederation of the Polish Crown, leading to a toughening of PiS rhetoric.

21:57

Klimczak on Mandatory Helmets for Cyclists Under 16, Among Others:

I Believe This Law Will Come into Effect This Autumn.
- Our health and life have no price. Regardless of whether a helmet costs 200, 300 PLN or 100 PLN, our safety, the health of our beloved children or grandchildren are priceless. This discussion has already taken place in Poland's history, when seatbelts became mandatory, when helmets for moped riders became mandatory, or child car seats. We always have to go through this discussion. However, when you talk to a paramedic, a doctor who witnesses the immense tragedy of both a child and their parent, then there is no doubt that this type of law needs to be introduced. My predecessors lacked the courage, but I have it, because I am responsible for road safety - Dariusz Klimczak replied in the TVP Info program "Pytanie dnia" to a question about the justification for mandatory helmets given the price of bicycle helmets. - The initial proposal was 15 [years old]. In the discussion, due to the arguments from the police, doctors, who said that most of these accidents occur among young people up to 16 years of age, that the most severe injuries are there, but there was also the argument that primary school can also be considered up to 16 years of age, because it's about completing 16 years of age. I was persuaded because these were solid arguments, and this is only a recommendation. We have a legislative process ahead of us. I hope this bill will be submitted to the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers at the next session, be adopted, and I will announce it soon during the Council of Ministers meeting - he continued. - This project should be in the Sejm this summer. I believe that this law will be passed by parliament this autumn and will receive the President's signature, and will come into effect. Nevertheless, I earnestly ask all parents who are watching us - today it is only a recommendation - we will introduce an obligation, but it is worth using the helmet every day - he added.

22:06

Klimczak on Pardoning Bąkiewicz:

It's Pathetic for the President to Get Involved in Such a Matter.
- 30 hours [per month] of community service for a year. That's an burden that a man who presents himself as a defender of Polish borders cannot possibly bear. I truly believe it's pathetic that Mr. Bąkiewicz even came up with the idea of applying for such a pardon - stated Dariusz Klimczak on TVP Info. - It's pathetic for a president, who is in his second term, to get involved in such a matter. I am curious about the president's personal statement, because if no one misled him, then I believe this is simply Andrzej Duda's mistake, and it's the right-wing's first mistake after the elections, after a series, one might say, of successes, when they actually bounced back from those parliamentary defeats. This is the first serious mistake, because defending Mr. Bąkiewicz and absolving him from a truly minor, small punishment is a political manifesto that is clearly a signal to voters and an attempt to push further into this compromising series of events concerning the so-called border defenders - he continued. - I lost respect for Mr. Bąkiewicz a long time ago, but the final straw was this incident when he disdained people in uniform, including women who were on duty, how he referred to them, saying they had no honor. I have completely lost respect for this man, and I believe that someone who didn't see this truly has their eyes clouded if they decided on such a matter. Those who stand next to Bąkiewicz at press conferences, boast about his presence, take photos with him, as PiS politicians do, truly, it's embarrassing and these people will be ashamed of it their entire lives - he concluded.

22:12

Klimczak on Hołownia and His Stance on Government Reconstruction:

He Made a Gesture That Could Get Him into Trouble Again.
- Frankly speaking, I don't have much time to ponder these issues. I don't want to be excessively modest or overstep my responsibilities, but truly, I have no reason to fear that something bad will happen to my ministry - Dariusz Klimczak replied in TVP Info to a question about government reconstruction.

- [Hołownia going on leave at such a crucial moment] is either an expression of nonchalance towards a very important conversation, which is government reconstruction, having a functional character, because that's what leaders focus on... handing over negotiations to his representative? - he continued.

- Congratulations to Minister Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, because this is a great expression of Szymon Hołownia's trust in his minister and a demonstration that she is truly an important person to him, politically important. On the other hand, how should other leaders feel, who are not sending their deputies, whom they undoubtedly also trust, but are conducting this conversation personally. I think Szymon Hołownia has made a gesture that could get him into trouble again - he concluded.
