Kaczyński on Tusk, the Referendum, and the Need for the US Method:

His Political Credo is Absolute Subservience to Germany.
- You know, his political credo is subservience, absolute subservience to Germany. And we have clear examples of this, because it's simply unheard of for one country to push thousands of migrants, illegal migrants, frankly, we don't know who they are, but in any case, people who can disrupt the safety of Poles and in many cases already are disrupting it, onto another country, formally part of the same military alliance and organization like the EU, with which these countries are bound by various agreements, in a completely unfounded manner – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference. - The fact that the German government, former Chancellor Merkel, made fatal decisions back then, is not our responsibility, and we have no reason to bear its heavy consequences. And such consequences will arise, which is why we cannot, under any circumstances, remain indifferent to this act, to the fact that the government we have today lies, that Tusk himself lies in a simply unheard-of manner, claiming that actually, no one knows what is happening, or that nothing is happening – he continued. “Tusk’s policy is not the policy of an independent state, but a subordinate one.” - This is not just a matter of immigration, illegal immigration, and the threats associated with it. It is also a matter of Poland's sovereignty and independence. Because Tusk’s policy is not the policy of an independent state, but a subordinate one, which is no longer even a junior partner, as is often said in journalism or political science, it is simply subservient. It does not react to actions that, under normal circumstances, should be immediately stopped by Polish authorities with a decisive and unambiguous reaction. Some claim: there are no legal grounds for this – the PiS leader emphasized. - There are legal grounds, because in reality, we are unable to determine who these people are, but we propose this solution, that is, a law, a draft for now, but it is very easy to enact, there is no doubt that the currently serving President Andrzej Duda and the future president Karol Nawrocki, if this were to be prolonged, would sign this law, granting the Polish state, and in practice the Minister of Interior, the authority to establish by ordinance a list of countries from which we do not accept citizens – he added. - In short, so that we apply this method, which is used in the world, by the USA among others, and this will give our services full legal grounds to resist – said Jarosław Kaczyński. “A motion for a referendum is needed.” - We will continue this, and it can be said that it is progressing, there are more and more signatures [under the motion for a referendum], and a moment will come, I cannot say exactly what day it will be right now, but not a very distant one, when we will submit this motion. This motion is very much needed – he added.

Kaczyński:

Had We Been in Power Today, Germany Would Never Have Dared to Do This
- Poland must be a state resilient to this kind of attack. Had we been in power today, firstly, Germany would never have dared to do this, but even if they had dared, there would have been an immediate reaction. There would also be a proper fight against the agency [operatives/informants] that is running rampant in our country, and we see this in various places, including here today - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

Kaczyński:

It's Terrifying Where These People Came From, Like Tusk? I Actually Know, But You Probably Don't
- It is evident [words of Tomasz Siemoniak] how easily Germany can exert pressure on Poland, even in a matter that is very inconvenient for this government. This is simply proof that such pressure exists and proof of what a soft and spineless government we have here. It's terrifying where these people came from, like Tusk? I actually know, but you probably don't - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

Kaczyński:

This Government is Radically Against Society, Against the Polish Nation
- This government is, in reality, radically against this society, against the Polish nation. We must be aware of this. However, a large part of the nation is seemingly not aware of this, because some small elite may benefit from this type of governance, while the rest will certainly not benefit from it - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference. - They want to defend this, they want to continue on this path despite losing the presidential election. It is sad, very sad, but we will be very active here. I do not hide that I have great faith in President Nawrocki, in his energy, courage, his strength, not only physical, although he is also strong, even very strong, but in his strong mental fortitude, and we will walk this path together, which leads to changing the situation in our country - he continued.

Kaczyński Asked About Meeting with Hołownia:

We Talked About Saving Poland.
- I would like for you [journalists] to first agree amongst yourselves, between your newsrooms, whether it was Mr. Bielan's meeting or mine. Because if it concerns the agreement of my esteemed colleague Adam Bielan, then I don't know. And as for me, I won't say I didn't talk, but since we spoke in a certain discretion, why that discretion was so violently broken, I don't know, but still, I won't break it - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference. - Certainly, it wasn't about the matters some are guessing about. We approach the situation realistically, including the current coalition. However, matters like those I generally mentioned here, that is, that Poland needs to be, here the word is entirely justified, saved, that's what we discussed - the PiS leader continued. - This is politics. Step by step. When we complete the journey, I will be satisfied - he emphasized.

Kaczyński:

Border Defence Movement is a New Phenomenon in Our Public Life. Perhaps Very, Very Important
- Let's keep fighting, this social movement, the border defence movement, is truly a new phenomenon in our public life. Perhaps it is really very, very important – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

16:18

Kaczyński:

The Battle Is Still Ongoing. But We Seem Very Close to Victory
- Today, this battle is still ongoing. It is still ongoing. But it really seems that we are very close to victory, a victory thanks to this mobilization. Thanks to all that the honorable member of parliament... - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

16:18

Kaczyński on the National Assembly:

I believe that Hołownia will convene this session.
- I have just spoken with Mr. Marshal [Hołownia], I won't hide it. It was supposed to be discreet, but it turned out, heh heh, it's indiscreet, so I won't mislead you. So, we spoke, we talked primarily about Poland's situation, about the fact that something needs to be done to end this war, so that Poland can move forward, not backward, as it is moving backward today - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin. - However, I did ask about this decision, of course. I heard again that the matter is obvious, the same as he says publicly. And I believe him at this moment, I believe that he will convene this session [of the National Assembly] and carry out the presidential inauguration procedure - he continued.

16:20

Kaczyński on the Border Defense Movement:

A Beautiful Movement, a Wonderful Phenomenon.
- I was at the border two hours ago, perhaps a bit more time has passed, and I spoke about the border defenders, about this beautiful movement, which is the border defense movement. There are even those who can compare it to 1980, to the Solidarity movement. Of course, it doesn't have those dimensions, but it's a wonderful phenomenon. Poles are not passive; they defend their fundamental interests - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

16:42

Kaczyński Announces "Major Programmatic Conference"
- We want to prepare, and perhaps already in October, there will be the first major conference – A Program for Poland. Perhaps some of you remember, in 2014/2015, such a large operation with a summit in Katowice, such a conference that was attended by a total of over 5,000 people, it was a 3-day conference – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

16:44

Kaczyński on PiS's Implementation of the Principle of Democracy:

You Don't Deceive, You Don't Have 100 Concrete Points for 100 Days.
We have implemented a principle of democracy that is not explicitly written anywhere, but which is, in reality, the foundation of everything, the entire meaning of democracy, of elections. This principle is simple – that you do not deceive, that you do not have 100 concrete points for 100 days - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

16:50

Kaczyński:

We are a large, European nation and should have several clubs succeeding in European competitions
Take sports, for example. Even in our TV programs, in the news, placed high, sometimes even first, is the news that some individual footballer, with all due respect to Lewandowski and others, has achieved some success, scored two goals. We are a large, European nation and should have several clubs succeeding in European competitions – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.
