– Yes, but I need to explain it – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia Zet" (Radio Zet's Guest), when asked if the government should undergo a reshuffle.

– After 1.5 years of a government's operation […] every government should assess its effectiveness. Is it well-structured, are all the ministers appropriate, can something be done better? I'll give an example, for instance, the economic sphere. I believe that the economic sphere in our current government should be organized differently. In fact, there should be a person who is clearly responsible for the economy, clearly leads it, clearly points out and sets directions – he continued.

– There's the issue of that ministry in Silesia, the question is whether it truly fulfills its role, or if it only deals with, for example, the mining sector – he went on to say.

– I would simply discuss this calmly. Is talking about it during an election campaign reasonable? In my opinion, not very, because it introduces more emotion than calm – he added.

– No [I wouldn't go for a beer with Rafał Trzaskowski]. Of course, that's being wise after the event, but I feel I would have said the same thing a few days ago: that going for a beer with any of the candidates during an election campaign is simply an unnecessary risk of creating precisely the kind of image that was created. No [I wouldn't go with Karol Nawrocki either], unless I openly supported him, but I don't do that – stated Michał Wawer in 'Rozmowa Piaseckiego' on TVN24.

– Trzaskowski is the greater evil; however, that doesn't mean I'm some sort of enthusiast for Karol Nawrocki's candidacy. I believe that both the campaign looks weak and the candidate for PiS isn't the most fortunate choice. If PiS had accepted our proposal to organize primaries on the right, which we submitted before the presidential elections, we would probably have managed to select a common, better candidate – stated Michał Wawer on TVN24's 'Piasecki's Conversation'.

– I believe they should [Karol Nawrocki's staff should take the risk and sue Onet], but I understand that arguments can be made for both sides – stated Michał Wawer in 'Piasecki's Interview' on TVN24.

– I don't see any real substantiation for these stories in this Onet article. What I mean is, this article bears all the hallmarks of something that was released just a few days before the elections specifically to harm the candidate and to make it impossible to verify before the elections – stated Michał Wawer on TVN24's 'Rozmowa Piaseckiego.'

– Even the best of us make mistakes. It was simply a mistake from which we all must learn the lesson that if you go for a beer with Rafał Trzaskowski, you can be recorded and end up within a few minutes in a professional election ad on the internet – stated Michał Wawer during ‘Piasecki’s Conversation’ on TVN24.

– Rafał Trzaskowski, one could say, somewhat 'self-sabotaged.' This was evident on a whole range of topics; the first, as I've already mentioned, was his inability to explain, to any extent, the scandal involving illegal advertisements. This wasn't new information either; it had been circulating online for at least a day or two – stated Michał Wawer on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego."

– I expect that Sławomir Mentzen will also cast the same vote as I do in the second round of elections. Yes [I think he will vote for Karol Nawrocki], because this is not a choice of our dream candidate; it's a choice between two very weak candidates, a choice purely of the lesser evil – stated Michał Wawer in „Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24.

"These reports [regarding Nawrocki and the alleged bringing of prostitutes to the Grand Hotel in Sopot] only began circulating in the media in the final stretch of the election campaign. To me, this is an obvious social engineering operation, akin to Goebbelsian propaganda – which is to say, just sling mud and see what sticks," stated Krzysztof Bosak on TOK FM Radio.

– I, in accordance with the principle that no harm comes to the willing. I believe that if both parties agreed voluntarily, and if one of them later, for over a dozen years, did not complain about being cheated, or exploited, or that an abuse occurred, then this is a matter between those two gentlemen – said Krzysztof Bosak on TOK FM Radio.

– If the law was broken, there were over a dozen years for the prosecutor's office to deal with it. Apparently, the Gdańsk city council, which was handling the matter, also had no objections, because it did not refer the case to the prosecutor's office. So I interpret this, similarly to other things that are now emerging in the media at the tail end of the campaign, as an element of a smear campaign and negative PR – he continued.

– I state in all interviews, without mincing words, that I will vote against Rafał Trzaskowski. Yes, I will cast a valid vote, but I do not explicitly endorse him, because he is a candidate put forward by a rival political camp – Krzysztof Bosak said on Radio TOK FM.

– For me, Rafał Trzaskowski is a candidate of foreign interests and major media, whereas Karol Nawrocki is a candidate who is being combated by circles linked to foreign interests and major media. Therefore, this instinctively sparks my sympathy and trust towards the one they fight against – said Krzysztof Bosak on TOK FM Radio.

– “There are no and there will be no deals between Konfederacja and PiS. This is because it is a party that governed Poland poorly, with which we disagree on a great many issues; we have our own program, and it is different from PiS's program,” stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio TOK FM.

– As for Mr. Domański, I must tell you that he is one of the most outstanding ministers overall, and I like him; he is very concrete, very pragmatic, a sensible fellow – Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on Radio Zet.

"Firstly, this provision is not being questioned. Secondly, this is a coalition agreement, which, in my opinion, none of my partners – none of our partners from The Left – questions," Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on Radio Zet, when asked if he would agree to a change in the coalition agreement's clause that is set to make him the Speaker of the Sejm.

– But of course – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Radio Zet, asked if Rafał Trzaskowski should agree to drug tests.

– Of course, yes, what's the problem? Sir, I'd be very happy to go, Tusk would go, Trzaskowski would go, why shouldn't we? What is the problem at all? – he continued.

– I would have a problem having a beer with Mentzen. […] I don't know if I'm currently helping Mr. Trzaskowski's campaign or not, but I certainly won't abandon my views, not even for four days. The Konfederacja electorate, like any other, every electorate must be contested. – I'm a bit concerned by the situation where we're now treating Konfederacja leaders as if nothing generally happened, as if they said nothing. Mentzen's Five still stand […]. If something was taken out of context […] you say, 'I spoke poorly, I apologize, I will never say that again, I don't think that way,' – he continued.

– What happened over the last month that Konfederacja's leadership stopped smelling like Russian stooges, can you tell me what happened? In my opinion, it's not the case that someone changes their views in two days, – he went on.

– Everything that brings votes to Trzaskowski, it seems to me, from the perspective of Trzaskowski's campaign staff, is reasonable, – he added.

– I suspect such a situation, and I am even internally convinced, that if Mr. Nawrocki becomes president, we will remember Duda with a tear in our eye. […] We currently have an unstable partner in the United States; we need to speak with one voice – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Radio Zet.

– Perhaps Trump didn't know whom he was receiving – he continued, after the host's comment that Nawrocki had been received by Trump.

– The draft bill is ready, and the announcements have been quite consistent. […] If someone owns a dozen or more apartments, they should pay tax on them, because typically one holds numerous properties for speculative purposes – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Radio Zet, when asked about the cadastral tax proposal.

– People often say, 'yes, but if someone inherits an apartment from their grandmother, they shouldn't have to pay tax on it.' For crying out loud, Biejat said, you only have two grandmothers, not twelve – he continued.

– I have a request for Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz: if she has an idea, she should submit a draft bill. We will sit down and examine it. Our idea is for the cadastral tax to apply to the ownership of more than two apartments – he continued, when asked about her proposals concerning the cadastral tax.

– Rafał Trzaskowski is preparing Warsaw for the implementation of the migration pact. He is doing this quietly, but we managed to obtain documents indicating that two centers for the integration of foreigners are to be established in Warsaw, likely to facilitate the implementation of the migration pact after the elections, should Rafał Trzaskowski win them. – I am a legal counsel, so I will say as professionally as I can that I would not sue. Suing under electoral procedure, in my opinion, would be a mistake. Firstly, there are Supreme Court rulings that state journalistic materials are not electoral materials and as such should not be considered under electoral procedure, and secondly, this material is written in such a way that there is essentially no legal basis to attach to it – stated Michał Gramatyka on Onet Rano.

– What struck people then was the utter helplessness of the state and its services. Those were still the days of Minister Ziobro, if you recall, someone very formidable in terms of his demeanor and facial expressions, yet in a situation where the perpetrator of this tragedy could have been easily apprehended, the state was utterly helpless. We then had to undertake extraordinarily complex diplomatic efforts, involving both the Ministry of Justice and the police, to secure the extradition of Sebastian M., whom we were pursuing, from the United Arab Emirates, – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting.

– And that is the enormous difference between me and my opponent, because I promise you responsibility and I pledge to you honesty and simple human decency – he continued.

– You know everything about me. For many years, I have held important and responsible positions. And believe me, throughout these 8 years of PiS, they did absolutely everything. They scrutinized me in every possible way. Provocations, thousands of inspections, and what? Nothing – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Chrzanów.

– The President of the Republic should be a person about whom you truly know everything. Whom you can trust. Whose life story is an open book. The President of the Republic cannot be someone about whom we learn something new every day that not only makes us wonder but often frightens us – he continued.

– I am very grateful to the MP and the Konfederacja environment for these words, which are very good news for me. Given that in these elections and on June 1st, our common future will be decided – said Karol Nawrocki during CPAC Poland.

Nawrocki responded to an earlier speech by Przemysław Wipler, who stated, among other things: – Rafał Trzaskowski personifies what is a threat to the conservative way of life, to what is important to me, my family, my loved ones, and our political movement. Therefore, I appeal to all of you: go to the upcoming elections and vote against Rafał Trzaskowski.
