At 10:00 AM, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet with US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright. The talks will focus on Polish-American cooperation in nuclear energy, including the project to build Poland's first nuclear power plant. A media statement is scheduled for 10:35 AM.

Following the meeting, in the presence of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, a bridge agreement (Engineering Development Agreement) will be signed between Polish Nuclear Power Plants and the Westinghouse-Bechtel consortium.

At 2:30 PM, at the Belvedere Palace, President Andrzej Duda, along with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, will participate in a high-level business event as part of the 10th Three Seas Initiative Summit. A dinner is scheduled for 7:00 PM within this framework.

At 6:00 PM, a presidential debate organized by "Super Express" will commence. The discussion will consist of two rounds. In the first, candidates will question each other, having time for rebuttals and polemics. The second round will feature short 90-second statements.

According to the organizers: – This is the first debate of its kind where prepared moderators do not ask questions, but rather candidates must deal with the blows of their political opponents. It won't be easy or pleasant; it will be sharp and unpredictable!.

At 6:00 PM, an open meeting with PiS Vice-Chairman Mateusz Morawiecki will take place in Błonie.

– It was an invitation from Karol Nawrocki to President Andrzej Duda, and President Andrzej Duda decided to participate in this event [convention]. Only a few people knew about it – said Paweł Szefernaker in the RMF24 program “Rozmowa o 7:00” (Conversation at 7:00).

– President Andrzej Duda, I think, has seen over the last few months what his lack of cooperation with the government looks like […] a government that did not want to cooperate with the president, a government that crudely breaks all the principles that have been established over the years in Polish politics, and I think that’s why this decision was made as well – he continued, when asked about the president’s past statements that he would not support any candidate and about when the president changed his mind.

– A few thousand people, a big event, a beautiful setting, and a special guest. Events like this in a campaign happen once, but I guarantee that we will surprise you many more times over these three weeks – said Paweł Szefernaker in RMF24, when asked whether the President's appearance was a one-off or if the President would still participate in Karol Nawrocki’s campaign.

– Some time ago, before the December 13th coalition took power, no one expected that one could forcibly enter public television […] and stop broadcasting on TVP. […] No one expected that one could forcibly enter the prosecutor's office and, contrary to applicable law, dismiss the National Prosecutor without the President's consent – said Paweł Szefernaker in an interview with RMF24, when asked what President Andrzej Duda meant by his statement about threatened elections.

– This government is capable of anything. We see what is happening geopolitically, for instance in Romania, we see that Law and Justice was deprived of its funds before the campaign, contrary to the Supreme Court's decision. This government does not execute Supreme Court decisions, and therefore there are grounds to believe that these elections must be guarded even more closely, so that Poles are simply not robbed of these elections by the current government – he continued.

– Of course, the president is consistent, but the circumstances have changed. Time has changed, circumstances have changed. Today is actually the finale of the biggest clash over whether Andrzej Duda's presidency, the changes that began in 2015, will be continued. Today, by supporting one of the candidates, Karol Nawrocki, Andrzej Duda is actually supporting the last 10 years, the last changes that were initiated in 2015 – stated Marcin Mastalerek in the "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

– Politicians, but not only politicians, can, and even should, change their perspective on certain matters. And today, the president, seeing what is happening, both in the campaign and what is not happening in Poland after October 15th, and what should be happening, is fighting, or rather supporting, a person who wants to fight for these matters that President Duda started in 2015 to be completed – he continued.

– Certainly, Karol Nawrocki has a different opinion on the actions taken during the pandemic. I have spoken with him many times about this; he believes the measures went too far regarding COVID restrictions, and also concerning the policy towards Ukraine. He has his own experiences related to issues with the Ukrainian side concerning the IPN's relations – said Paweł Szefernaker in RMF24, when asked if he could specify where Karol Nawrocki disagrees with Jarosław Kaczyński.

– There are many topics where Karol Nawrocki certainly holds a different view than Law and Justice, but for the vast majority of the vision for the state... he shares the same opinion as Law and Justice – he continued.

– This is completely normal, pay attention to Western democracies, to the USA. Soon Barack Obama will be in Poland, ask Barack Obama about support in Philadelphia at Hillary Clinton's official convention. In the USA, this is obvious, why can't it be in Poland? – stated Marcin Mastalerek in the "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" (Piasecki's Interview) on TVN24.

– Was the man who said he was the president of all Poles, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, when in 2005 he supported Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, who later fled the battlefield, acting in whose interest? No one after so many years seems to blame Kwaśniewski or say it was wrong. It's a good idea, let's invite President Kwaśniewski tomorrow and ask him why he supported Cimoszewicz in 2005. Perhaps we will also find out why he fled the battlefield – the presidential minister continued.

– Rafał Trzaskowski did not participate in the debates; a coward cannot be president – said Paweł Szefernaker on RMF24.

– No one is preventing Rafał Trzaskowski, Civic Platform (PO), and their campaign team from ensuring that Bronisław Komorowski endorses Rafał Trzaskowski. The path is open, there will likely be some PO convention. Let Komorowski endorse, and then there will be a showdown between Andrzej Duda and Bronisław Komorowski – stated Marcin Mastalerek in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

– Roughly this is the order of costs when organizing this type of event, but I will tell you that every penny is checked twice by us, counted, truly there is a lack of funds for the campaign and the fact that public collection is the only source of financing for this campaign, means that we also try to save, but this is the cost government – said Paweł Szefernaker on RMF24, when asked by the host how much Karol Nawrocki's convention cost and if he was very mistaken saying it was PLN 1.5 million.

– Of course. All activities […]. All funds spent on the campaign to date are from collections – he continued, when asked if the PLN 1.5 million was from donations.

– I will not deny that many would see President Duda, and many are encouraging him, I cannot deny that, but I can tell you with my hand on my heart, as honestly as I can: cross my heart, President Duda shoos away everyone from his office who wants to discuss his future. He says: today I am the president, we are not discussing this today – stated Marcin Mastalerek in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

– I see that what is happening within Ukraine, our part of Europe, and security is a certain process. And I believe this process began at the end of February, when President Duda, during an excellent conversation at CPAC in Washington, said prophetic words to President Trump. He said: Donald, dear President, he's a KGB agent, he'll deceive you, you'll see. I believe that this moment is now happening for President Trump, and shortly the realization will click in, that President Trump will understand: yes, President Duda was right then when he warned me, and Putin is deceiving – stated Marcin Mastalerek in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

– You took one sentence out of context from a 40-minute long speech [...]. Law and Justice, and the leader of the Law and Justice party, Jarosław Kaczyński, decided that they would support Karol Nawrocki, a civic candidate, so it was the decision of Law and Justice and also of Jarosław Kaczyński – Paweł Szefernaker said on RMF24, when asked about Karol Nawrocki’s words that he is Jarosław Kaczyński’s decision.

– It is also Jarosław Kaczyński’s decision that Law and Justice supports Karol Nawrocki – he continued.

– The rally in Poznań was a great success, that huge square was full. Great enthusiasm from the listeners, the supporters. I am greatly impressed by Poznań, Małgorzata Trzaskowska and the candidate himself – said Radosław Sikorski in an interview with Beata Lubecka on "Gość Radia ZET".

– This is precisely the question: where does PiS get so much money for various international activities? They are very active both in Hungary and in the United States. They claim to have no money, yet they operate on a grand scale. This makes me suspicious about how they stole – as you might remember the immortal words of Minister Horała – not in accordance with procedures – Radosław Sikorski said on “Gość Radia ZET”.

– He was a Law and Justice president the entire time. Once or twice he tried to ascend to a higher orbit. I remember his good speech on the 25th anniversary of joining NATO, but otherwise, he sticks to the talking points of the day's message – Radosław Sikorski said on "Gość Radia ZET".

– That's how it is in politics, sometimes you have to postpone your ambitions. Rafał won, I supported him immediately, unconditionally, and I believe he will be a good president – Radosław Sikorski said on “Gość Radia ZET”.

– Rafał Trzaskowski earned his right to run, if only by winning against me. And Karol Nawrocki himself said that it was Kaczyński's decision – he stated.

– Szymon Hołownia is counting on receiving support from, among others, Civic Coalition (KO) even before the first round of the presidential elections. This is what Onet reports unofficially… – stated Beata Lubecka on "Gość Radia ZET".

– Vain hopes – Radosław Sikorski replied.

– I understand that there are no such plans in KO, that if it turns out that Rafał Trzaskowski's poll numbers drop [...] then Prime Minister Tusk will call for voting for Szymon Hołownia, even before the first round? – the host asked.

– We like the Marshal, we appreciate him, and we hope that he will support Rafał Trzaskowski in the second round – answered the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

– None of the candidates represent true independence; they will all be further party representatives in the Presidential Palace, and I believed that Polish men and women have the right to a president who will be guided solely by their well-being, not party interests – stated Joanna Senyszyn in the program "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

– They [Trzaskowski and Nawrocki] are the true children of their parties, and I will be the mother of all society – she added.

– I believe it’s very damaging for Rafał that his coalition partners, namely Szymon Hołownia and Magda Biejat, who are fielding their own presidential candidates, are essentially treating Trzaskowski as a punching bag. They have completely lost the sense that they are fundamentally on the same side of the barrier, and the real opponents are PiS and Konfederacja – said Joanna Senyszyn on Polsat News.

– This is bad tactics [Hołownia and Biejat attacking Trzaskowski], showing the division within this coalition, and that is why they are not governing as Poles expected. They are feuding, they can’t reach an agreement. The fact that 300 adopted bills are not on President Duda's desk, and the explanation that he wouldn't sign them – so far he has signed 90%, so this is a vague excuse – stated Joanna Senyszyn on Polsat News.

– The other side also truly panicked. The fact that President Duda is currently supporting Nawrocki, first and foremost, shows that he was never president of all Poles, he supports his own side, contrary to what he promised, but we have become accustomed to that – said Joanna Senyszyn on Polsat News.

– I am the Left. Magda has unfortunately joined a group that does not fulfill its promises, and moreover, when there were certain conflicts, when Czarzasty stood against Senator Gabriela Morawska-Stanecka and said he would 'take her down' if she appeared in the media, Magda somehow didn't defend her, even though she claims to defend women's rights – stated Joanna Senyszyn on Polsat News.

– [Ukraine] continues to receive support [from the US]. Weapons are still flowing through our hub in Jasionka, and the United States continues to share intelligence data. Of course, Europe is doing more at the moment, both financially and militarily – Radosław Sikorski said on "Gość Radia ZET".

– These are important US-Ukrainian talks. And may the Vatican – on the day of the Pope's death – inspire both gentlemen, but particularly the President of the United States, who declares his piety. A miracle is needed here to begin exerting pressure on the aggressor of this war, namely Putin – he stated.

– There are [sanctions from the USA]. The question is whether they will be maintained. If I were in Putin's shoes, I'd be careful, because President Trump is capable of flipping the switch. That is to say, of saying: 'No? Well, then we're increasing sanctions, we're passing a new aid package for Ukraine, we're tightening the enforcement of current sanctions even further.' And then Russia would have a really big problem within a few months – said Radosław Sikorski on 'Gość Radia ZET'.

– The opposition today recalls some tweets from many years ago and builds a narrative that the government – despite my intensive contacts with the American side – supposedly has bad relations with the United States, while the president has good ones. Well, we want some benefit for Poland's geopolitical position and Polish interests to result from these good relations. But when it comes down to it, unfortunately, we don't see President Duda's influence on President Trump – said Radosław Sikorski in "Gość Radia ZET".

– I was counting on President Duda using his friendship with President Trump to pressure Russia. But it seems such a conversation unfortunately did not happen. I conveyed these suggestions both privately and publicly – said Radosław Sikorski in “Gość Radia ZET”.

– This is the moment of truth. The President has invested a lot in these relations. […] Now is almost the last moment to put this friendship on the line for the sake of peace, for the sake of Ukraine, for the sake of deterring Putin. That is what a president should be doing, not necessarily speaking at party conventions – he stated.

– A question from a listener: Is it true that the Ukrainian side has set a condition that the identification of exhumed victims of the Volhynian massacre should not include children and infants? And will Poland agree to this? – asked Beata Lubecka in „Gość Radia ZET”.

– Let’s leave that to the specialists. I remind you that Karol Nawrocki is the head of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), he should be dealing with this, not just his campaign. […] He took a leave, and important things are happening here. After years of neglect – also by the IPN – the government has finally arranged for exhumations, but the details must be agreed upon by the IPNs of both sides – replied Radosław Sikorski.

– I promised myself not to be malicious towards Marshal Hołownia, because then he spends too much time on social media, checking what's being said about him – said Barbara Nowacka in the program “Bez uników” on Trójka, when asked by Renata Grochal about Szymon Hołownia's statement that Trzaskowski will be Tusk's president, having a boss over him, while he will be independent because he has no boss over him.

– I'm glad he's started talking a lot about smartphone and social media addiction, maybe he'll start with himself – she continued, when asked if she had seen a photo of Hołownia from the Pope's funeral.

– In my life [I wouldn't take a selfie at the Pope's funeral and post it online], especially since people like marshals, politicians, especially those in the front rows, have media handlers – she added.

– Let's leave Szymon Hołownia aside, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for every democratic candidate. I don't intend to comment on him too much, because then he lives on it for too long, and I would like him to focus on mobilizing, as he promised, Mentzen's voters, to vote for him – she concluded.

– We discussed our cooperation, current and future cooperation regarding nuclear energy. I am very pleased to inform you that our cooperation has gained new momentum, also thanks to the personal commitment of the Secretary, and my ministers. This first investment was today sealed with a new, improved agreement – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a meeting with the US Secretary of Energy.

– I will not hide the fact that the Polish side strived to make this agreement better from the perspective of our interests, but also our partners, because thanks to this agreement, where we changed many key issues in 16 areas, this investment becomes more certain, and the guarantees give us all a sense of security for this investment – he continued.

– Poland was very keen for this investment to be equally profitable for both sides and for both sides to feel fully satisfied with the provisions, not only of this agreement but also with all the future work that awaits us – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a meeting with the U.S. Secretary of Energy.

– Thanks to the efforts of both sides, we can today announce with full conviction that Polish-American cooperation in the field of nuclear energy is doing well, better than ever before, and we will certainly not stop at this investment alone, if we consider energy in general, in my beloved region – he continued.

– Today we want to address the issue of Polish armaments, but in this case, it's a matter also very closely linked to the EU, to its efforts and announcements related to this very field. Because as for the stance of our political opponents, they evidently pinned great hopes on the EU in this area, claiming that it was precisely the EU that could help us. So, what is the real situation? It is that we are dealing with decisions that very strongly impact our defense interests, as well as our economic interests, which are linked in this case – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

“Everything Must Be Bought in the EU”

– Regarding our share of this pie, initially small, as it's only 1.5 billion euros, but later this pie is supposed to be greatly expanded, some even mention 600 billion euros, our share is currently at zero. Practically speaking, Germany, France, and Spain are to benefit from this, not us. However, we are to be subject to restrictions concerning contracts that have already been announced or even concluded, because these are contracts outside the EU, the USA, and Korea. We made those purchases there, and here the condition is that everything must be bought within the EU, whose armament capabilities and defense industry are currently limited – he continued.

“Germans Are to Command”

– Demands are currently being made, which, to put it simply, boil down to Germans being in command, just as General Beseler, who was the governor of the part of the Kingdom of Poland occupied by Germany, as part of it was occupied by Austria-Hungary, had dreamt of – emphasized the PiS chairman.

“Will PO Continue to Support Weber?”

The question is whether PO will continue to support this gentleman [Weber]. And finally, there is one issue, almost a myth, which is the Eastern Shield. Regarding the shield, there are no funds, concerning the decisions that are being made in the EU today, were made in the EU, or are already planned, none are visible. That's the first point, and the second – the Eastern Shield would certainly be useful, and such a plan, although without that name, was discussed at Security Committee meetings when I was its chairman. But it's a truly massive plan if it is to make sense – said Kaczyński.

“We Are Dealing with Democratic Governance, Only with Constant Manipulation”

This is more or less like the fight against legal highs, like the idea of castrating pedophiles, and similar ideas. The biggest of these was the introduction of the euro within an unrealistic timeframe, because it was completely impossible, but there were always many such ideas, because here we are dealing with democratic governance, only with constant manipulation, I spoke about this yesterday at the convention – he noted.

“Return to Major Non-European Contracts is Needed”

We do not need manipulation, but defense, a return to major non-European contracts. These are real at the moment, and they can quickly supply us with the weapons we need – he said.

– No [I did not ask Andrzej Duda for support for Karol Nawrocki]. That is all I have to say, although I am truly enormously grateful to the President, and although I knew from the moment I had the idea for him to be a presidential candidate that he was a great speaker, he truly showed class yesterday. Truly chapeau bas, once again, I thank the President very sincerely – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– I expect all those who are Polish patriots, and Konfederacja declares this, to support a patriotic candidate, not people who, regardless of their current declarations, simply have nothing to do with Polish patriotism, and some of them are obviously connected with at least one foreign country, and I think that if various committees, those that were liquidated, had searched deeper, a second one would have emerged – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– They simply do not recognize democracy and the rule of law. Please remember, today in power is a party that does not recognize this, and it does not recognize it because it wants to implement a program that is not Polish, but primarily German, therefore it cannot recognize it, because it could stand in the way, and secondly, for cultural reasons – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– Following [Andrzej Halicki's] statement, there was a vote, which Civic Platform lost overwhelmingly, despite receiving our support. Work on the European defense industry program has been ongoing in the European Union for two years, and one could say it has been crawling – Adam Bielan said at a press conference.

– The European Commission was supposed to publish a document on this matter in the autumn of 2023, but due to delays, it only did so in March 2024. As a result of agreements between political groups, our MEP, Prof. Zdzisław Krasnodębski, was to be the main rapporteur for this report. However, the European People's Party, wanting to block someone from our faction, from the Polish MEPs of Law and Justice, from leading the work on this very important report, postponed, despite the ongoing war, the work on this report […] until at least the European Parliament elections – he continued.

– Only after 8 months, in February of this year […] a decision was made to process this report under the so-called fast-track procedure […]. This fast track limits the possibility of submitting amendments and limits the possibility of discussion. Despite this, our MEPs […] submitted several dozen amendments to improve this report, published by the European Commission, which is unfavorable to Poland. Unfortunately, as a result of the work in the European Parliament, this report left parliament much worse than the one published by the European Commission – he went on to say.

– This appeal by Andrzej Halicki, such a last-ditch appeal to postpone the vote on a report that will actually only serve two large European countries, namely Germany and France, was a cry of despair. Civic Platform has shown utter helplessness – he added.

– Much has already been written about this report. I would like to remind you that it makes it impossible to purchase high-quality equipment from our NATO allies, from the United States, from Great Britain, using European funds […] it severely limits our defense industry, as it introduces an obligation to have at least 70% of components purely European – he emphasized.

– Polish taxpayers, as Poland pays contributions to the European Union, will de facto finance the defense industry of the two largest countries in the European Union, namely Germany and France – he mentioned.

– The consequences of the actions currently being taken in the European Commission and the European Parliament will be very bad for our country's security. We should also add to this what is foreseen in the so-called White Paper, namely, first, that the will of the EU oligarchy ruling the EU is for defense decisions to be made by qualified majority, not unanimously. If we also add the idea that the European Commission, on behalf of EU member states, should order military equipment, then we can say that we are in a very bad position under the rule of the December 13 coalition – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

– If we also add the statement by Paweł Kowal […], who, speaking to „Politico”, stated that he does not think large contracts will be concluded with the United States at this time, then this is a clear statement that there will be no contract for the delivery of 500 HIMARS launchers to the Polish army. And this already means a severe blow to the defense capabilities of the Republic of Poland – he continued.

He argued: – Everything must be done to ensure that the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, the President of the Republic of Poland, is Dr. Karol Nawrocki. Because Dr. Karol Nawrocki guarantees the rebuilding of good Polish-American relations. On the other hand, Donald Tusk's deputy, Rafał Trzaskowski, will deepen the crisis if, God forbid, he were to become president.

– I hope, although it is of course the President's decision, that it will be a veto, simply a veto, because what sense does a situation make where the CEO of some company, it's not a large company, so a modest 50,000 PLN, his secretary 7, except that she pays a much larger contribution than he does. This is a complete absurdity, these are regressive taxes, this doesn't exist anywhere in the world – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– He [Karol Nawrocki] is an honest man, a very honest man. A good Pole, a good patriot. Indeed, as Professor Dudek writes about him, a decisive, consistent, brave man. That is the kind of president we need, not some jellyfish who grew up among the privileged of the PRL era – Jarosław Kaczyński said at a press conference.

– This year's Three Seas Summit is an event of particular significance, especially in the context of the current geopolitical conditions and the ongoing war on Poland's eastern border. I am pleased that the Three Seas community is constantly growing, welcoming more countries into its ranks that wish to establish closer cooperation in the region — stated President Andrzej Duda at the opening of the business event during the 10th Summit of the Three Seas Initiative.

– During the summit, which begins tomorrow, Montenegro and Albania will officially join the Three Seas Initiative as associate participating states, while Turkey and Spain will join as strategic partners — this is wonderful news. I believe that, thanks to the new members as well, cooperation within this format will become even more significant and fruitful, and the summit in Poland will contribute to strengthening ties between all member states and partners — he continued.

– This is the Polish flag that Karol Nawrocki brought to the debate in Końskie, and later, when the lights went out, he abandoned it in the hall where it proudly flew. We all know what it means to abandon a flag on the battlefield; everyone knows it from Polish history, everyone who is interested in the military, everyone who was in scouting. You simply don’t abandon a flag, which is why I have it today – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the “Super Express” debate.

– The party you represent promised before the elections that it would end the practice of treating public assets like troughs for politicians. This has not happened, Mr. Chairman. It is as it was. The pathology continues. The only thing that has changed is that PiS's party cards have now been replaced by PO's and your allies' cards – stated Adrian Zandberg during a "Super Express" debate.

– I want to unequivocally write into the Constitution, and I will strive for this, a clear opposition to the cadastral tax – said Karol Nawrocki during a Super Express debate.

– My tax proposals […] are not only low and simple taxes, but above all, fair taxes directed not at the wealthiest, but on one hand, at those who aspire. Many people told me that the second tax bracket should be raised to 140,000 zlotys – he continued.

– My contract with Poles […] is primarily a fight against the depopulation crisis in Poland and supporting Polish families – he went on to say.

– You didn’t answer my question, because it wasn't about your stumble with the cadastral tax […], but about another stumble, because the provision you are proposing in the constitution, regardless of what it means, will mean that you will protect the Kulczyks and other oligarchs from taxing large fortunes – which is the standard of the Western world, which operates in Europe, the United States – stated Adrian Zandberg during a debate with “Super Express”.

– We will meet with Magdalena Biejat on Wednesday in Gdynia for a friendly conversation, as I understand it, about our visions, while you didn't want to talk – said Szymon Hołownia during the "Super Express" debate, addressing Rafał Trzaskowski.

– I want to debate, but not with the participation of TVP, which someone hires and influences for their own purposes – said the candidate of Poland 2050.

– During the first migration crisis, you said words to the effect of [opening up to the EC's proposals and purchasing a certain insurance policy]. You said that we would have to accept illegal migrants, that accepting migrants is our insurance policy, and during the current campaign, you are trying to convince us that this is not true at all, that you will pursue a policy that does not allow illegal migrants in. Why have you been lying to Poles about this throughout the campaign? – stated Sławomir Mentzen during the "Super Express" debate.

– The world has changed, and we currently have a war on our eastern border, a hybrid war, because it is Putin and Lukashenka who are bringing migrants to the border, and the problem is that if you were to look into it, you would know that over the last 8 years, Mr. Szefernaker, Mr. Nawrocki’s campaign manager, was responsible for this – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the Super Express debate, responding to Sławomir Mentzen’s question.

– At that time, I clearly stated in EU documents, which you probably don't know, because you don't know much about the European Union, that if there is migratory pressure from Ukraine and if we help Ukrainians, because we were threatened with this in 2014 as well, then we will not accept anyone into Poland. And we made this enormous effort […] and there is no question of any migration pact and its implementation – he went on to say.

We are approaching the end of this eternal blackmail, in which two large political parties have their own televisions, their own opinion-making media, and by scaring us with each other, they say we have no choice, we have to vote for them even if we disagree with them – said Adrian Zandberg during a Super Express debate.

– If someone wants to first take away someone’s land, like the Communists under Bierut, and then also deny them compensation for the land that was taken, then they are worse than the Communists under Bierut. Therefore, I am deeply convinced that unfortunately, today’s Left, of which you are one of the last more assertive faces, you are worse than the Communists under Bierut – said Sławomir Mentzen during a “Super Express” debate.

– Your proposal is certainly interesting to consider; I won’t make a clear commitment right now – said Karol Nawrocki during a Super Express debate, responding to Artur Bartoszewicz’s question about whether he would support a change in the way political parties are financed (instead of state budget subsidies, a 1% personal income tax deduction would be introduced).

– On the one hand, we have Mr. Nawrocki, who says, he clearly stated yesterday, because the masks have fallen, that he was [chosen] by Mr. Kaczyński's decision, and I was chosen in a primary election by the decision of several tens of thousands of my colleagues from several political parties, so I have a quite serious mandate to be an independent politician – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the "Super Express" debate.

"Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, a man with 20 years in a political party, questioning my lack of party affiliation, Chairman, struck me as quite funny and unserious just a moment ago. You've been in Civic Platform for 20 years, and I've never been in a political party," said Karol Nawrocki during a debate with Super Express.

– I'm checking information about you, I see you're talking to Mr. Konstantin Knyrik, for example, who is a Russian propagandist. I see you praising how Russians are rebuilding Mariupol and putting up new, beautiful blocks. I must admit, this is quite ludicrous; by this logic, they'll soon rebuild the whole of Ukraine. I wonder what your goal is in running in these elections. Mine is known, yours is not entirely known, and it seems to me it might be more interesting than mine – stated Krzysztof Stanowski during a debate organised by "Super Express," addressing Maciej Maciak.

– Do you admire Putin? – Marek Jakubiak asked during the "Super Express" debate.

– Yes. Each of us here in Poland would not be able to withstand such pressure. This shows that he is a very good politician – replied Maciej Maciak.

– I am for the right to abortion up to the 12th week; it must be a woman's decision because women should decide about their lives and their health. Yes [I would sign such laws] – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a Super Express debate, when asked by Marek Jakubiak whether, as president, he would sign laws on abortion, civil partnerships, and adoption of children by homosexual couples.

– Regarding civil partnerships, I am also for such a law because I believe it is complete paranoia that two people, and this most often concerns heterosexual couples, who have been together their whole lives, cannot visit each other in the hospital or inherit from each other. The vast majority of Polish society wants such solutions – he continued.

– The masks have fallen, you yourself said it was Kaczyński's decision. Congratulations, Kaczyński has set up first Duda, and then you. Like two puppets who are supposed to be president – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the "Super Express" debate.

– You [Antoni Macierewicz] praise him all the time. There are rumors that Kaczyński will soon order you to take him into the National Security Bureau. Do you agree with the paranoias he spreads, with his attitude towards the army, where he fired people and ruined the Polish army? – he continued.

– Sir, you who have been a member of a political party for 20 years. I am an independent, civic candidate, supported by PiS, and for me to be supported by PiS, the PiS leader and leadership had to make such a decision. I am surprised that a man with such experience cannot listen with understanding. I am also supported by "Solidarity," many civic committees, foundations, and associations. Don't you understand the logic that to be supported by the largest party in the Polish parliament, the leader of that party had to make the decision? – stated Karol Nawrocki in the "Super Express" debate.

– Regarding Macierewicz, back when you wrote that the Territorial Defence Force (WOT) consists of people incapable of working for the Polish state, Minister Macierewicz was creating the WOT, and you said that these were people incapable of serving the Polish state, neither in terms of health nor skills. He is a man who was an activist of the communist opposition during the PRL era. He is a man with great merits in the fight against communism. Surely you don't want to say that communism is closer to you than the anti-communist opposition, although I leave that to your personal judgment. In these matters, I value the achievements of Minister Macierewicz, and no one will tell me to hire people for my office because I am an independent person – he continued.

– Yesterday, all of Poland saw how the masks fell, and you will bear responsibility for all these people, including those who are fleeing to Hungary and Belarus. Because now, unfortunately, you won’t detach yourself from PiS anymore, as everyone saw your convention – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the “Super Express” debate.

– A few days ago, you were branded with that Jewish daffodil, that mark of shame – Grzegorz Braun said during a debate for “Super Express”.

– What are you talking about? What shame? That was the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. What are you talking about? These are heroes of our history. This is unbelievable, I won’t listen to this – Rafał Trzaskowski replied.

– “We don’t have a Russian option in Poland, and that is a great tragedy, because it is an important center of competence and strength,” said Mr. Hoga, your advisor on military matters. You saw those scandalous scenes a moment ago, so I wanted to ask you, do you agree with those words? In your famous Mentzen’s Five, you spoke about leaving the EU, now you say there will be no leaving the EU, so you are also changing your mind, and you say everyone else is changing their mind – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the “Super Express” debate.

– Regarding cooperation with the AfD – it is the most pro-Polish party in Germany at this moment. You were the one who claimed that Nord Stream was a private, business venture, not a political one, and it was your colleagues from the CDU who built Nord Stream – stated Sławomir Mentzen during a debate hosted by „Super Express”.

– You attack the AfD, yet you are in a coalition with people who claim that concentration camps were in Poland, not in Germany, because Germany would not allow such a thing – he added.

– I am against a cadastral tax, this stems from what Poles across Poland tell me; Poles are terrified they will have to pay a cadastral tax – said Karol Nawrocki during a Super Express debate.

– I will be your defender against the cadastral tax […] I am speaking here on behalf of ordinary Polish women and men, like myself, who own one apartment. However, regarding apartment turnover or blocking apartments on the free market, there is a Member of Parliament from Civic Platform, his name is Kropiwnicki, he owns several apartments; such pathology, and the obstruction of apartment movement, must certainly be limited – he continued.

– Here, I believe that with the left, as the future president of the Polish state, with my social sensitivity and with the support of Solidarity, we will be able to reach an agreement – he went on to say.

In 2015, 2016, you voted against lowering the retirement age for women. What's more, when, against your will and that of your political environment, the age was lowered and women could work 7 years less, you promised the women of Warsaw that you would adjust the opportunities and discounts at ZTM to the new retirement age, and that did not happen; you lied to them. You often say you are a candidate for women, but you wanted them to work 7 years longer. Perhaps it's worth apologizing to them? – stated Karol Nawrocki during the "Super Express" debate.

– You know my stance on the pension age well, and as for what concerns women themselves, I think we've really done a lot in Warsaw. First and foremost, we didn't just talk about it; I introduced a program for free nurseries, which became a model for the government program and is now being implemented across Poland. I took care of women's health, and I did so very seriously, by creating the Women's Health Center – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the "Super Express" debate.

– Mr. Vice-Chairman, with each passing day you increasingly resemble Bronisław Komorowski. Your story made me feel a few years younger, but the effect is that you've made women work 7 years longer, and this entire beautiful narrative you've presented here doesn't contain a single answer – why did you make women work 7 years longer? – stated Karol Nawrocki during the "Super Express" debate.

"You've beautifully stepped into the role of Donald Tusk's spokesperson, so it's true then, you speak with the same voice... […] You are becoming, Mr. Speaker, Pontius Pilate of Polish politics. On one hand, you are part of this government, on the other hand, you distance yourself from it... I am staying within the poetic style, please appreciate that, which we both understand – and I would want you to have your Damascus moment before the presidential elections and realize that Donald Tusk and Rafał Trzaskowski are destroying Poland" – stated Karol Nawrocki during a "Super Express" debate, addressing Szymon Hołownia.

– You have seen this today as well, for 20 years they have been very effectively scaring us with each other and setting us against each other. […] Mr. Nawrocki says that if he loses the election, it will be the end of Poland, government camp candidates […] say the opposite – said Adrian Zandberg during the Super Express debate.

– This is how it spins, this rather empty, tribal war, which is mainly there to distract. To distract from the fact that one side or the other is in power, but queues to doctors are growing and housing prices are rising. Both sides pump money into the bank accounts of companies and developers, both sides tighten belts in the public sector, both sides starve hospitals and gradually lead to privatization – he continued.

– The only thing that truly interests them […] is getting in line for the trough. I believe we are capable of more, that we can break free from this empty war, that we can build an ambitious Poland, a socially just Poland, a Poland of atom, silicon, and steel, not plywood glued by PiS and Civic Platform – he went on to say.

– For 20 years, we've lived in a PO-PiS system. [...] Two gentlemen in their seventies – Tusk and Kaczyński – have divided Poland between them, sowing discord among Poles and families. They engage in some fruitless disputes, while crucial matters are completely ignored. In the meantime, they've complicated taxes, disarmed our army, failed to fix our healthcare system, and haven't built a nuclear power plant or the CPK, but they did have time to appoint their cronies to state-owned companies – stated Sławomir Mentzen during the “Super Express” debate.

– I'm running in these elections precisely to change this, so that people don't have to choose between PiS and PO. I've visited nearly 300 Polish counties during this campaign. 300 open meetings with residents. We are putting all this effort in precisely to finally change this system, to finally have something different – the Confederation candidate continued.

– Poles are no longer living for the dispute between two gentlemen in their seventies. I'm not even 40 years old. Even teenagers, and my generation so far has not had the opportunity to finally take responsibility for Poland. We would like to change that finally. – Today, we want to be a generation of peace; the future President of the Republic of Poland should build a generation of peace. – There has been a lot about party politics here, but I wanted to talk to you about people, because that is exactly the kind of Warsaw I am building and the kind of Poland I want to build. For that boy who has suicidal thoughts, for that mother who worries about what will happen to her adult child when she is gone, for those senior veterans of the Uprising who meet at the Uprising House, which I created – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the Super Express debate.

– I built a Warsaw where hospitals functioned for everyone during the pandemic, regardless of their political views. I built public transport for everyone, regardless of their political views. And that is exactly what it's all about; today, we need a president who can rise above political disputes, who will be an arbiter of political disputes, who will think about how to resolve these disputes, but most importantly, how to stand on the side of the citizens – he continued.

– This is precisely the kind of Poland I am proposing to you. A president who will be fully independent, who will take the weaker under their protection […] who will be firm when principles need to be defended and when the white and red flag needs to be defended, which is sacred. A president who will be your president, not the president of any political party – he went on to say.

– I am running also because professional politicians, who have ruled, are ruling, and will rule, have caused me to be burdened today with a responsibility that I should not be burdened with. […] In this folder are numerous, but this is a small part of the cards I received from preschoolers who wrote to me asking me to save their friend, who is raising money because the Polish healthcare system doesn't have such funds for her – stated Krzysztof Stanowski during a debate with „Super Express”.

– We collected almost 2 million PLN in two days, but this shouldn't be my role. I am surprised that we live and function in a state where the Minister of Health is a primary school Polish language teacher. This should resonate. A primary school Polish language teacher holds a finger on the weakening pulse of Polish healthcare. And children have to write to me to help raise 1-3 million. Sometimes it succeeds, but this is the task of the Polish state and Polish politicians – he continued.

– I hope that one of the professional politicians will take these accolades for the minister, and deliver them to her. Maybe it won't help, but as a Polish language teacher, she can check if the children made any mistakes – he continued.

– Poland today needs a strong president for challenging times, a president who is emotionally stable, but also firm in their views. I created my 21-point program together with Polish men and women at nearly 300 meetings across Polish counties. This is our common program for Poland, the 'Plan 21'. It also shows that we need a president who is independent of German foundations, like Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, from Soros, from Donald Tusk. We need a president who will be the voice of Polish men and women and will say: Poland first, Poles first – stated Karol Nawrocki during a debate with 'Super Express'.

– I will tell you what is most important, namely that the white and red is never let go of. And this is, in a sense, a symbol of this entire debate and everything we have been observing for many, many days, namely that the white and red must be passed from hand to hand – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a rally after the Super Express debate.

– It didn’t surprise me in any way that Rafał Trzaskowski brought that flag [the white and red one from the debate in Końskie]. If Rafał Trzaskowski had read history books and knew, he would understand that the Polish flag is indeed planted in places that have been conquered. I conquered Końskie, I left the white and red flag there, so I don't know why Rafał Trzaskowski brought it back – Karol Nawrocki said in an interview with „Super Express”.

– But it’s very good that he brought it. It’s a flag that I love, that is dear to me, and I hope that this white and red flag will prompt Rafał Trzaskowski to reflect on Poland. So, it didn’t surprise me that it stayed there, because I left the most beautiful flag in the world in a place I conquered, and Rafał Trzaskowski brought it back today. May it serve him well – he stated.

– During the debate, I saw much misfortune – because foolishness in politics and a misunderstanding of the mechanisms of democracy and modern times is a misfortune. I note with satisfaction that there was one participant who showed that he truly understands these times and that he is capable of taking on the difficult burden of leading Poland and Poles – and that is Karol Nawrocki – Jarosław Kaczyński wrote on social media.

– Amidst the confusion and strange claims, the frankly audacious lies were particularly striking, with special emphasis on the defense of the border. The most intense attack on it took place during our time. We created the foundations to repel it, and they furiously attacked it back then. The undisputed winner of this clash is #Nawrocki2025! – he emphasized.
