– I think Poland doesn't hold as much significance [for the Trump administration] today as it once did, when we were the main ally in Europe. So, it's unlikely they will get involved in [the presidential election] – Jacek Czaputowicz stated in the "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" program on TVN24.

– However, from a long-term perspective, regarding values and methods of operation, I believe the right-wing is closer to Republicans and cooperates more, than the current liberal, coalition government. So, in such an interest, similar to Italian Prime Minister Meloni or support for Le Pen, it's more or less in that vein, in the long run. But I don't think the US wants to engage in such a current presidential election battle. There are only a few weeks left – he assessed.

– The Polish government is playing its own piano, unfortunately. It's not engaging in EU matters. We announce that we will not be involved in the stabilization mission in Ukraine, even after the presidential elections. I think we are simply playing it smart. He continued: – I can say that Americans are learning from us. And this is the effect of such a selfish Polish policy, that it's not good here or there. It's not that [Poland] is playing on two pianos. We are not at any piano.

– So we're playing our own tune, and it's out of tune? – Konrad Piasecki asked.

– Which no one is listening to – replied the former head of Polish diplomacy.

– I don't know about these governments, because in my opinion, as long as the Left is in this government, this will not happen. We are the guarantor […] The Left will not allow it because it is in the government and as long as it is in the government, it will put a stop to it – said Anna Maria Żukowska in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on the program “Sedno Sprawy” on Radio Plus, when asked if Prime Minister Tusk's government threatened the privatization of healthcare.

[…] However, that we were aware and didn't react, perhaps by underestimating it, perhaps not knowing how it would work, that's the truth. And at that time, Germany introduced border controls, and we also began to control this influx from Slovakia together with Germany – said Jacek Czaputowicz in the "Piasecki Interview" on TVN24.

– There is a problem with returning migrants who registered in Poland. And I want to say that this policy was pursued by the governments of Beata Szydło and Mateusz Morawiecki. When I was in government, we accepted people from Germany on the basis of readmission at the border who didn't have the right [to stay], and they had arrived from Poland and submitted their documents here. Today's policy doesn't differ from that one, as far as this aspect is concerned – indicated the former head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

– This is an international obligation, and all governments, including Donald Tusk's, but from Prime Minister Beata Szydło and Mateusz Morawiecki, are behaving responsibly in the same way – meaning that if there is a legal basis, they accept these migrants – he added.

– I even want to say that the numbers during Beata Szydło's government were higher than now, because it was over a thousand annually. And this is exactly the same procedure – he stated.

– No, because they [the subsidies] will raise housing prices in Poland – said Anna Maria Żukowska on Radio Plus when asked if she saw room for agreement and whether the Left could support Minister Paszyk's program ("First Keys") in some acceptable form, or if there was no possibility of any mortgage subsidies.

– We submitted reservations to this draft law at the standing committee of the Council of Ministers, and Poland 2050 also submitted them, so in my opinion, this project has no chance of passing through the Sejm at this moment – she continued.

– I would like to make a declaration, which I want to deliver as a presidential candidate, and which relates to the recent statements by President Donald Trump during his meeting with his campaign sponsors. I want to assure you that if I become the President of the Republic of Poland, Poland will not kiss anyone's behind. Poland will not kiss anyone's hand either. Poland will not kneel before anyone. Poland will not curry favor with anyone, and Poland will not say to anyone: "Sir, sir, let's make a favorable deal" – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Opole.

– Poland is a proud country of proud people. Poland is a loyal ally, it fulfills its obligations, it provides shelter to those in need, it takes responsibility for the security of Europe and the world, and it will never kiss anyone's hand or other body parts – he stated.

– My impression is that this debate, which will take place on Friday in Końskie – assuming it takes place, because as it turns out now they will be arguing about whether these particular television stations should broadcast it or not – will be a return to 2020. Back then, PiS and Civic Platform also tried to set the political stage so that there would be nothing else on it but a duopoly, polarization, the dispute of these two large political corporations. Then, by agreeing to swap candidates […], and today saying that a world beyond PiS and PO does not exist – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Opole.

In his opinion: – What will happen on Friday, if it happens, will be a celebration of the duopoly, which we know so well in Poland and which simply tires all of us – me, for example – very much.

– I sincerely hope that debates in a group where we could find ourselves on the ballot will begin as soon as possible. Because that is the real choice Poles are facing today – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Opole.

This is my message to you. It is worth talking, as another classic said. Let us show people our visions in confrontation, let us collide them – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Opole.

– There was a group of people invited by the Ocalenie Foundation, but no one – I repeat: no one – who is in Poland illegally can enter the parliament premises. We checked this with both the Marshal's Guard and the State Protection Service, which also verifies such matters, checking the criminal records of these individuals in the process – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Opole.

As he continued: – In preparing to file this lawsuit, we finally reached both the foundation and those individuals. We are certain that these people were in Poland – and are, as far as I know – legally, based on legal residence cards or other documents issued by the Polish state.

– Therefore, I have decided to file this lawsuit, because I will not allow anyone to lie about what happens in the Sejm, to insult the Sejm's guests, to insult me. […] We will see what the court says in this matter. The Chancellery of the Sejm, the Marshal's Guard, all institutions have prepared a complete set of documents concerning each of the several hundred people who were guests of the Sejm at the time – indicated the candidate of Poland 2050.

– I am calmly awaiting the resolution. And I advise Mr. Sławomir Mentzen to have a bit of calm, reflection, and to prepare money that will be associated with compensation from the court's verdict, because he will have to pay a few zlotys – he stated.

– You have an example here, and not the only one, and we will show more, what language, what accusations Donald Tusk used against us, other politicians from his formation use, and what the justice system's reactions are to such behavior, because regarding this statement [by Donald Tusk], appropriate motions have been filed with the prosecutor's office. More than 2 years have passed, and what is happening? Nothing. Simply nothing. Regarding other false statements, for instance, one concerning my alleged remarks about Trump, that was also filed, albeit in a different procedure, civil-legal, and something has started there, but Tusk avoids further attempts to bring this matter to trial, he simply provides excuses at the last possible moment, and it just doesn't happen, and it's always like this – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– Meanwhile, we have an astonishing situation in Poland today. Here is a person, who is a Member of Parliament, but does not hold any other positions related to the judiciary, let alone being any kind of judge, who essentially announces what the punishments should be, how quickly the proceedings should advance, usually such proceedings take years, how dozens of people from politics are to be eliminated for saying the same thing that Tusk said without the slightest basis. Because it was about perinatal deaths – he continued.

– One can say that Giertych tore off his mask, he showed what it really looks like, and any reasonably intelligent person must acknowledge that we do not have a justice system in Poland in the proper sense of the word. We simply have a system that can impose various types of penalties or make administrative decisions, but these decisions are made at the behest of the executive power. This undermines the foundations of democracy, of a civilized order – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– There will be no tears and no apologies. Perhaps some will break down, but those are individual matters. There will be a tough fight against this, and we are convinced that one day a normal prosecutor's office, not one seized by force, with legal prosecutors, and a normal justice system with honest judges will pass judgment on this – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– The voivodeship-level administrative court, for now, meaning it is not final, has decided to revoke the license for Republika. If someone does not see this as further proof that these authorities, having no arguments and perhaps having a different assessment than what is published in polls regarding the presidential election results – the latter is of course a supposition, I have no evidence for it – are making decisions aimed at bringing Poland even closer to Belarus and Moscow than it already is today – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– I thought they would leave [wPolsce24] for a little longer, just to create some semblance of appearances. Apparently, they are not even creating appearances, they are going, as the saying goes in very colloquial language, for the jugular. Yes, free media are not the only ones threatened; democracy is simply being liquidated in Poland at this moment. That is the truth – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– Regarding the march, we always have financial troubles at the moment, and I believe you know the reason for them. As for the willingness to participate in this march, it is, given our expectations, quite significant [turnout], because we never expected this to be a march of hundreds of thousands or even tens of thousands of people. However, we wanted this anniversary to be commemorated, precisely two anniversaries – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– What is the essence of this cynical, political game, this villainy that is happening in our country today under the rule of the December 13 coalition, was revealed today in an interview given to Rzeczpospolita by Roman Giertych – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– It is about eliminating the opposition leader, Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński, from political life, it is about striking at the opposition, it is about an attack aimed at strengthening the rulers' power by eliminating the opposition from political life – he continued.

– We oppose this, we will not succumb to these threats. What Roman Giertych is doing [...] is worthy of the highest condemnation. I will recall Roman Giertych's post [...] at the time when the director from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister was taken into pre-trial detention, then Roman Giertych published such a post: "if she had been as smart as Director Tomasz Mraz, today we would have a motion to lift immunity for the real beneficiary, and she would be dealing with her son" – he continued.

– What grounds did Roman Giertych have to express such opinions [...] who supervises the prosecutor's office, seized by force, illegally by the December 13 coalition? Why does this gentleman pass judgments, why does he say how many years someone will be sentenced to. Why does he even say that someone will be in prison? What right does he have to speak in this way, who is he? – he added.

– The debate should be conducted on simple terms. That both sides must agree, and there is an invitation for Ms. Paprocka at 3 p.m. Apparently, she did not accept this invitation. It is obvious that all media must be present, not just the pro-government ones, because then the debate makes no sense, and there should be appropriate freedom to ask questions – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– This will certainly disrupt the electoral process. It is not legally binding, and under normal practices of the Polish judiciary, one would have to wait a long time after the elections for this ruling to become final. However, we have already heard how quickly Giertych is setting the pace, so I don't know how it will unfold – said Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference, when asked if the revocation of TV Republika's license would disrupt the electoral process.

– I would warn against one thing […] let's not put society in a mood where nothing can come of it, because they will falsify, because they will do this, because they will do that. We must fight, we must encourage people to fight. When I hear […] on both of those television channels, by the way, these laments, one might say, about what will happen, I believe that this is not well-thought-out – he continued.

– This needs to be talked about, but in a certain way, and only by encouraging a fight, not in the way that is often said, and often entire discussions are dedicated to it – he went on to say.

– The court, ruling in electoral proceedings, determined that Sławomir Mentzen must retract statements claiming that Szymon Hołownia "invited illegal emigrants to the Sejm, took selfies with them, and posted them online." The court found these statements to be untrue – wrote Katarzyna Karpa-Świderek, Director of the Sejm's Media Service Office, on the X portal.

The case concerned these words by the Confederation candidate.

This is the Third Way presidential candidate’s comment on the court’s decision regarding the lawsuit filed under electoral proceedings. The court ruled that Sławomir Mentzen had “disseminated untrue information” about Hołownia and must publish a correction.

– Today I stand before you to say that for me, the most important thing is the interest of Poland, the interest of Polish women and men. My election slogan until the end of this campaign will be: “Poland first, Poles first” – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– I will be a president who bases all my decisions, legislative initiatives, and vetoes on the slogan “Poland first, Poles first” – declared the candidate supported by PiS.

– However, this will not be solely a campaign slogan, but a concrete commitment to Polish women and men, signaling that I will come forward with legislative initiatives that will relate to the slogan “Poles first” – he announced.

– We are an open, solidary nation that welcomes those who have been wronged outside the borders of the Polish state. Poland has proven on the international stage over centuries, but also in recent years, that we are a nation that hosts, and particularly those who have suffered, we receive with open arms – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– However, decades of building Polish prosperity by Polish families, by Poles, today place us before this type of responsibility, that it is precisely Poles who should have priority in benefiting from the social gains of recent years – he stated.

As he declared: – Therefore, in my initiative “Poles First,” Poles will have priority in using Polish healthcare. Today, healthcare is not only very poorly managed, it has budget deficits, queues for doctors are lengthening, but today the Polish healthcare system is also burdened by guests from outside the country, particularly from Ukraine.

– Of course, they also deserve a system, a package of health measures, but it is Poles who have the right to priority in Polish healthcare. Such solutions will be found in my draft bill – announced the candidate supported by PiS.

As he added: – Similarly with places in nurseries and kindergartens. Polish children should have priority when it comes to admission to kindergartens and schools. Such a solution will also be found in this draft bill.

– I have the impression, after this decision, that all Poles should wake up today. They should recognize the situation we are in, a creeping revolution, an attack on Polish democracy. I say this not only as a presidential candidate, but also as a historian – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

According to him: – These types of symptoms of the authorities' actions, the attack on Telewizja Republika, wPolsce24 television, the attempt to revoke licenses from two independent television stations […] critical of the current government, is further proof that freedom in the Polish state is today being brutally, still creeping, but with ever-increasing dynamics, restricted.

– For 13 days, we appealed for a debate on security in Końskie, and for 13 days, Rafał Trzaskowski wavered in his thoughts, he didn't know whether he wanted this debate or not, he chickened out, and finally today… – stated Paweł Szefernaker in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

– It won’t be easy [Mentzen’s encounter with Nawrocki]… there’s a big difference in this poll… I am observing a very active campaign by Marshal Hołownia, he has 5% in this poll, but I believe he has a chance to gain higher support at Mentzen’s expense – Grzegorz Schetyna said on TVN24.

– The better Hołownia performs, more offensive in debates and in his presence at these meetings… if Hołownia runs an active campaign, it will seriously hinder Mentzen’s fight – he continued.

– Rafał Trzaskowski knew nothing about it, because I actually learned about this debate from that post [on the X portal]. We at Polsat received an invitation from TVP regarding whether we would join such a debate. We replied that yes, we are joining, hence probably the letter that arrived, I don't know when to you. I actually accepted them in the morning hours, probably around 8, because I remember I was training then – said Piotr Witwicki, host of the program „Gość Wydarzeń” (Guest of the Events), to Paweł Szefernaker.

The head of Karol Nawrocki's campaign team had previously spoken, among other things, about the debate conditions being imposed from above, specifying which television stations were to broadcast it, and that no one had discussed with the campaign team who would moderate the debate. Szefernaker also asked by whom Polsat was invited and stated that he only learned from Polsat that Piotr Witwicki would be one of the moderators.

– Directly and immediately. Meaning, swiftly. I believe this also depends on us, the democratic coalition […] our relations for the next two years until the parliamentary elections depend on this – Grzegorz Schetyna stated on TVN24 when asked whether other candidates from the ruling coalition would directly support Rafał Trzaskowski before the second round.

– It will be very important not to calculate, not to appeal to voters, not to say that they know better, there is no calculation here. Here, one must say: yes, yes, no, no, meaning, who we are with and whose campaign we are engaging in, and I believe that this is how it will be – he continued.
