At 12:00 PM, an international conference titled "Police are Women" will be held in the Senate, inaugurating the 100th anniversary of women's work in the Police force. Among those speaking at the event will be the Minister of Interior and Administration and coordinator of special services, Tomasz Siemoniak.

At 1:30 PM, a press conference by Mariusz Błaszczak, Zbigniew Kuźmiuk, Bogdan Rzońca, and Tobiasz Bocheński will begin in the Sejm.

At 6:00 PM in Olsztyn, an open meeting with Adrian Zandberg will take place.

Wednesday marks the first day of Radosław Sikorski's visit to Tokyo. During his stay in the Japanese capital, the Minister of Foreign Affairs has scheduled talks with, among others, the head of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Takeshi Iwaya, as well as the head of the Ministry of Defence, Gen Nakatani. The visit will last until March 3rd.

– I would say that this is a signal that accountability is moving forward, despite all fears, despite critics, and that these preparatory proceedings have a certain rhythm, and in order to maintain that rhythm and thoroughness, they simply have to take some time – stated Adam Bodnar in a conversation with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's “Graffiti”.

– It is good that at this crucial moment, there was at least some time for this exchange of opinions and views, so that the Polish perspective is also present in Donald Trump's mind. Despite the brief conversation, important declarations were made. The declaration that the American army, the one we secured during our government, 10,000 soldiers, will not be moved from Poland elsewhere, that is a very important declaration for us – said Marcin Przydacz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

– I think this line of reasoning [that Zbigniew Ziobro will also face charges] could be correct, though I naturally don't want to prejudge anything, as it is Prosecutor Piotr Woźniak's decision. However, the prosecution often adopts an approach from smaller to larger matters. This means that as various threads of a case are examined sequentially, and we have had threads involving individuals who directly benefited from these subsidies, such as the Profeto Foundation, and in the Szczecin thread related to Mr. Matecki, several individuals who managed these organizations have already been charged – stated Adam Bodnar on Polsat News's “Graffiti.”

– These are two different visits, two different statuses of visits. One [Emmanuel Macron's visit] is an official visit to the White House, the other [Andrzej Duda's visit] is actually a visit to the CPAC conference, where a meeting takes place in a pull-aside format. Such things happen and it's completely normal. […] People meet for shorter periods at conferences, there are no honors, red carpets, troops, or orchestras then – said Marcin Przydacz in the "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.

– I think that such a full visit to the White House will still happen, because President Duda visits Washington from time to time. […] I hope that such a conference [Trump and Duda's joint one] will happen after the official visit, which – I hope – the mission in Washington will one day arrange for President Duda – he stated.

As he pointed out: – Although I have some doubts whether Mr. Bogdan Klich is capable of arranging such a visit for the President of the Republic of Poland – regardless of what he thinks about Donald Trump or Andrzej Duda. At the moment, I see that it is working rather poorly and it seems to have such opinions among even Civic Platform politicians, that the mission today, under the leadership of Director Bogdan Klich, is functioning poorly.

– I fear I don’t have optimistic news for Minister Bogdan Klich here – said Marcin Przydacz in „Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24, when asked about an agreement regarding ambassadorial nominations, which was supposed to take place between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President.

– However, for Poland, this is likely optimistic news, that the government is withdrawing from its bad stance and bad policy, and will in the future return to the tradition established over 30 years of the Third Polish Republic, meaning it will first approach the President for preliminary consent for a given candidate – he stated.

– The President publicly stated that some of these already appointed heads of missions would even deserve his signature, provided that this tradition and presidential prerogatives are respected. […] I think there will be a review of these several dozen names. Probably a part of them, perhaps even a large part, will gain the President’s support, but there are also those who, in my opinion, will not obtain such a signature – he assessed.

– I think that very many presidents in the world would wish for the opportunity to speak, regardless of how long, with the President of the United States, and the conversation, of course, concerned the war in Ukraine, but Mr. President, as the President of the Republic of Poland, spoke primarily about our interests and our security – said Małgorzata Paprocka in an interview with Grzegorz Osiecki on "Sygnały Dnia" PR1.

– It is rather the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who listened to the voice of the Presidential Office and the President, speaking about the legal state of affairs for the past 30 years and about the established good practices in this regard [appointing ambassadors]. I am pleased that we are returning to these very long-standing practices, and before the formal commencement of the procedure, letters with what is conventionally called preliminary consent reach the President – Małgorzata Paprocka said on PR1.

– I hope that on the government's side there is room for similar reflection regarding compliance with the Constitution. Perhaps it would be good if, for example, Minister Bodnar had such reflections regarding judicial appointments – she continued.

– This is a case that, on the one hand, shows that the state apparatus works, because please note how this report reached the services that such a person might be invoking influence, this Mr. Tomasz J., and using it to arrange various things. The entire state apparatus acted even during the PiS government – the CBA, then the prosecutor's office, and now the case is in court – stated Adam Bodnar on Polsat News’ “Graffiti.”

– The President’s position in this context is clear. It is not in Poland’s interest for there to be any opposition from European countries towards the United States within NATO or in the general discussion about security, because there is simply such a difference in potential and such a difference in defense capabilities today that the interest of the Republic of Poland is obvious here – Małgorzata Paprocka said on PR1.

– I wasn’t in the Sejm at the time [when PiS MPs chanted Trump's name and applauded him in the parliamentary chamber]. […] However, regarding that reaction, please understand PiS, the politicians of the right, who lost power a year and a half ago, are essentially, let's say, constantly being pursued, persecuted, and our money is being taken away – said Marcin Przydacz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

– And suddenly they get a signal that the right wing overseas, in our key allied country, is winning after an equally difficult four-year period, where they are also persecuted. A certain hope emerges that, wow, the right wing can indeed be reborn and win – he stated.

As the PiS MP continued: – Please also understand the mechanism by which PiS MPs felt the wind in their sails, that things might be different now. Shortly thereafter, it turns out that the government in Belgium is right-wing, the right is being reborn in other parts of Western Europe, so PiS was also happy about that. However, this does not mean an affirmation of his policy towards Vladimir Putin.

– Many of these notifications were submitted by the General Directorate and directors, but in total there are 60 notifications. Of course, they concern both the General Directorate of State Forests, the state forests information center, and individual regional directorates. The total amount of questionable receivables that caught our attention and which form the basis of the notification is half a billion zlotys – stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on the program “Guest of the Morning” on TVP Info.

– It is no secret [...] that the president is not a supporter of this act, because it de facto introduces an absolute distinction in the status of Supreme Court judges, it removes the adjudication of electoral cases from judges who were appointed to do so, who have experience and knowledge in this area, and whose rulings have not been questioned by anyone so far – said Małgorzata Paprocka in PR1, when asked about the president’s decision regarding the so-called incidental act.

– I do not hide that it is difficult to imagine the president’s acceptance of these solutions and, frankly, Marshal Hołownia knew this from the very first moment he came to the Presidential Palace with this proposal – she continued.

– The Marshal came, let’s also say it directly, with a completely different version of this solution, when practically three chambers of the Supreme Court were to adjudicate in presidential election cases. Today, we have 15 judges explicitly indicated by the legislator’s finger [...] there is no criterion for dealing with electoral cases, any knowledge in this area – she went on to say.

– Analyzing Mr. Matecki's employment, one could conclude that he had to move to Szczecin to carry out his campaign, thus for this purpose, he suddenly ended his employment at the General Directorate of State Forests and began employment, which the prosecution deemed fictitious, precisely in Szczecin – said Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.

– Fictitious, because if one were to trace the entire history of Mr. Matecki's employment at State Forests, then in those 31 months, it wasn't enough to log into such a basic document circulation system at State Forests even once – she added.

– We had a situation where a former employee of Minister Woś’s parliamentary office found remote work in bison care. This shows the absurdity of the situation – stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.

– He was employed, he was reportedly the manager of a bison enclosure and had the option of remote work. That’s impossible; it’s like trying to manage forestry remotely. Any forester you ask will tell you it can’t be done because it’s not that type of work – she continued.

– I am at a stage where I will be holding consultations [on the draft bill on the status of judges] with the individual parliamentary clubs of the ruling majority. I have two meetings scheduled for next week and I would also like to hear their observations – stated Adam Bodnar in Polsat News's "Graffiti".

– I think it's obvious [to ask for an opinion from the Venice Commission], because in this situation, the Venice Commission was consulted at the first stage, only that it was my request with abstract questions, concerning this bill, and I think that when we have a concrete bill, it's worth… – he continued.

– Today, what we need to ensure is that local governments receive good offers, just like SMEs from energy-selling companies. The market price is below the statutory price, so there is no need to freeze prices for them – said Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.

– These two-year contracts concluded during the peak of prices, in the energy crisis, are already expiring, or have expired, so practically every hospital, every accommodation facility, every local government, school, should already have new conditions, and they are below PLN 693 per MWh – she continued.

– A Ukrainian historian, Wahtang Kipiani, is threatening my life, writing that he can arrange a repeat of the history of Pieracki for me, a Polish politician, the Minister of the Interior, murdered in 1934 by Ukrainian nationalists. Kipiani is a well-known Ukrainian historian, appears on television, and has been honored with an award named after Bandera. "A videoconference with the 27 Prime Ministers and Presidents of the European Union is about to begin, with the participation of the President of the European Council, who organized it, and primarily President Macron, who will report on his visit to Washington and his talks with President Trump" – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in a recording published on X.

"As you know, this is part of the preparations for negotiations. We all hope for a swift end to the war, and Europe wants to have the clearest possible stance. Poland's position has been clear from the very beginning. Ukraine's future cannot be decided without Ukraine. We cannot agree to Ukraine's capitulation to [...] the insolent demands of Russia, including territorial ones" – he continued.

"Europe must be united around its own vision for Ukraine's future and our relations with Ukraine and Russia. We have adopted sanctions, and we will discuss how to support Ukraine during these negotiations, including what excites people so much, namely how to help Ukraine maintain peace if we sign it, and who will send troops" – he went on to say.

"Polish soldiers will not participate directly in a peacekeeping mission, or whatever we call it, but Poland will be ready to provide all logistical support. What we are doing now, but even on a larger scale, if the need arises, so that a European peacekeeping mission with the support of the United States is effective and well-organized" – he added.

"We are also determined to support all initiatives aimed at utilizing Russian money, so-called frozen assets, so that these funds finance aid to Ukraine, now while it is fighting and during peace, when it will be rebuilt. This is one of many upcoming meetings, we still have a lot of work ahead of us, but there is some hope on the horizon that united and in solidarity, we will find a good way to end this war" – he stressed.

– It is no wonder that security is an absolutely crucial matter for us. Poland is secure, Poland spends almost 5% of its GDP on defense, and in my opinion, it should spend exactly 5% in 2026. 50% of all investment spending should remain in Poland and be invested in our defense industry – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during a meeting with foreign journalists.

– There is no doubt that the EU must take security issues much more seriously, and European NATO members. It cannot be that some don't even spend 2% on security and don't take security seriously in such difficult times – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during a meeting with foreign journalists.

– Poland will not send troops to Ukraine because we are responsible for the entire eastern border, along with the Finns, for the EU and NATO border, and this is our responsibility. – The National Deterrence and Defense Program [Eastern Shield] for the years 2024-2028 is being inscribed into the European strategy. Together with the Baltic Defense Line and fortifications on the Finnish-Russian border, it will create protection for NATO's eastern flank. This is our great task: building a strong fabric, resilient to the aggressor, on the eastern frontiers of our homeland, on the eastern flank of NATO and the EU – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

– There is no room for compromise here, there is no room for dilemmas, our land, our law. Poland is not a place where any vile, bandit-like actions can take place, and we will fight this fiercely – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

– One could say that the times of the 90s are returning, meaning Donald Tusk has taken us back 30 years, and the symbols of these bad governments are inflation and rising unemployment. The Central Statistical Office has presented information that, year-on-year from January 2024 to January 2025, over 60,000 jobs have been lost in companies employing more than 10 people – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– This year, unfortunately, this trend will deepen further, as Poczta Polska alone announces the dismissal of 10,000 employees, and mass layoffs are also announced in retail […] the furniture industry […] mass layoffs are also announced in this field – he continued.

– We must bring about a change of power in our country, and the first stage will be the victory of Karol Nawrocki. I am convinced that the presidential election will also be a referendum concerning the assessment of Donald Tusk's government, because let's remember that [...] Rafał Trzaskowski is Tusk's deputy. He is Donald Tusk's second-in-command [...] a man who bears co-responsibility for what is happening in our country – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– I believe that the Stróżyk commission should investigate this matter, because we are clearly dealing with Russian influence and the fundamental question must be asked, here I could list the entire coalition of politicians from December 13th [...] why, or if they consciously joined the Russian-funded Russian campaign attacking Law and Justice using these 8 stars – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– We will submit a question to Minister [General] Stróżyk, head of the SKW, as to whether the commission established in Donald Tusk's chancellery will deal with this matter – he continued.

– No one is accustomed to mandates, and in this area, mandates shouldn't exist. It must also be said that we faced a situation where COVID was a significant challenge. We navigated COVID while maintaining economic growth, taking care of the lives and health of Poles, and I believe history will judge us positively in this regard – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference, when asked about Karol Nawrocki's statement on vaccinations.

– We must also remember that we have to fight diseases, and there are specialists in this field. I am not a specialist. I rely on the recommendations of specialists, I trust Polish doctors – he continued.

– Dr. Nawrocki said nothing more than that there are optional and mandatory vaccinations, and there is no controversy in that. […] Dr. Nawrocki was referring to the voices of certain far-left politicians who advocate for the introduction of mandatory vaccinations beyond the current number in Poland – added Tobiasz Bocheński.

A video clip was published on Mateusz Morawiecki's social media, and it was also shown during a press conference attended by the former Prime Minister.

The film uses fragments of two statements by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who says that the Polish presidency "will be co-responsible for how the political landscape looks," and that he himself "will not be outplayed in the EU." These words are juxtaposed with two other short videos: one where Tusk plays ping-pong, and another from yesterday in which the Prime Minister informed about his skiing accident.

– We were supposed to lead Europe. We were supposed to not be outplayed. And yet, what? Prime Minister Tusk prefers to play ping-pong and ski instead of leading the Polish presidency. Summit with the US in Warsaw? Absent. Inclusion of the Three Seas Summit in the presidency's program? Absent. European Council Summit in Warsaw? There isn't one, just as, in fact, there is no Polish international policy during the Polish presidency – says the narrator in the film.

"A Picture of Misery and Despair"
Mateusz Morawiecki commented on the recording at a press conference. – One could say that Poland has been dealt a golden hand in international politics. The government in the US is changing, [...] there's a government crisis in Germany, and in fact also in France. And during this time, Poland holds the presidency, meaning Poland can impose its agenda on the entire EU, pursue our interests. Not be outplayed as we are being outplayed now – said the deputy leader of PiS.

– We had the appropriate instruments for this. We also planned […] the appropriate summitry instruments. […] A picture of misery and despair – that's what today looks like, what was supposed to be a golden shot, a golden opportunity that Poland really got. Absolutely not utilized – he stated.

– Today we see that Donald Tusk has suffered an injury. I sympathize with him greatly, I broke my leg myself a year ago, it happens. But I have a question: when exactly did he suffer this injury? – said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

– Was it during the summit in Washington, or perhaps during the summit in Paris, or during the RBN [National Security Council meeting] from which he left halfway through? It’s probably worth finding out from the Prime Minister when exactly it happened – he stated.

– Absolutely crucial things are happening today. We are witnessing the construction of a new international order. It is today that Polish diplomacy, the Polish government, and primarily the Polish Prime Minister should be active on every front. […] And he is not here – he is skiing, peeling potatoes – he continued.

– I expect immediate action from the Prime Minister, from this government, to utilize the fact that Poland holds the presidency, not to capitulate – he called.

– I will certainly be at the prosecutor’s office [for the hearing regarding the postal vote elections]. […] The strongest ace up my sleeve is the constitution. I am not afraid. I will do what a citizen should do in such a situation – said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

– We need to show all our compatriots how this fighting democracy works in practice, in Romania pushed yet another mile further. The arrest of a presidential candidate, whom some may like more and others less, is a clear blow to the very heart of democracy – said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

– We present this example, which happened today in Romania, as a warning to all our compatriots who have had enough of this breaking of the law, to show how far this left-wing, liberal elite from Brussels can go in their insolence – he stated.

– The goal was to cover up the information that nearly 60% of Poles, after less than 15 months in power, are already pointing out the government's major mistakes and deficits [...], to cover up everything that doesn't serve this government, that it doesn't care about Poles. That's how I see the matter of the MP [Dariusz Matecki] – said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

When pressed on whether he vouched for him, he replied: – I do not know the MP personally. I don't think I've ever spoken to him in my life. […] The MP was available for many months; the prosecutor's office could have questioned him […]. I believe that this time there will be no miracle over Mr. Bodnar's lottery machine in court.

– Right now, a bill is going through parliament, an amendment, a reform of the labour market, labour offices, public employment services. After 20 years since the creation of the current system, it is high time to bring it into the modern age – said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on the program “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

– For instance, we are introducing new solutions that allow for the activation of professionally inactive individuals, not only the unemployed, but also those who are seeking work or want to change jobs. […] I think most of our viewers associate Labour Offices with a place where someone who becomes unemployed goes to claim benefits. […] A Labour Office is supposed to help find employment. But today, in an era of very low unemployment, these offices could help people who no longer wish to work in a particular place and want to change their profession – she continued, when asked how this modernization would look.

– Career counselling, training, retraining opportunities – she further stated.

– We are not working on any changes regarding the 800+ program. […] 800+ as a universal program that goes simply to the child, to those families who have offspring, makes sense also because it does not involve very extensive bureaucracy, and we do not spend public money on verifying whether someone has already crossed a given threshold or not – said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in Polsat News, when asked if her ministry is considering introducing income thresholds for benefits, such as 800+.

– I cannot imagine a situation where a pub selling alcohol could operate within any workplace. And in my opinion, on parliament grounds, on Sejm grounds, alcohol should not be distributed at all, it should not be sold at all – said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in Polsat News.

– Minister Katarzyna Kotula literally yesterday and the day before yesterday organized a huge coordination conference, which is another stage of the work [...] Minister Katarzyna Kotula, article by article, agreed on subsequent regulations, we are moving forward with this – said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in Polsat News, when asked about partnership unions.

– We are doing everything to [have the law on partnership unions] and we are moving this process forward. If it weren't for the Left in the government, such an event as the last two days in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister would not have happened, and a government bill would not have been prepared at all. – If we had a total majority in the Sejm, it would have been passed long ago, just like the law concerning legal abortion – she added.

– We are counting on these limits on co-financing housing construction and housing programs being unblocked and quickly processed by the Sejm. For me, as the Minister of Family, also responsible for demographics, this is absolutely crucial – said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in Polsat News.

– We can bend over backwards and create a thousand different programs like 'Active Parent', expand the nursery network, which we are doing, and can already boast about, and rightly so, but if we don't invest in housing, if there is no housing, young people will not decide to start families – she continued.

– We are just beginning the consultations for this program. Today, we presented it to local government officials, and now we are moving on to consultations with residents. This will undoubtedly be a very difficult process, as it will likely evoke a great deal of emotion […], but I am an optimist, because we have presented a very good program. A program that has the full acceptance of the scientific community – said Marcin Kierwiński in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24, referring to the "Flood Risk Reduction Program in the Nysa Kłodzka River Basin".

– This is a project that guarantees a significant reduction in flood risk in the Kłodzko region. […] We have proposed 6 variants, and they will be subject to public consultations. They differ in terms of the funds that will need to be allocated, as well as the scale of this reduction – he continued.

– This program will cost approximately 4 billion PLN. […] We want to propose a system for managing property ownership so that there is no need for forced relocations, and that acquisitions are voluntary. In terms of the scale of this process for the investments we are proposing, it could affect between 150 and 230 people, depending on the variant […]. This is not thousands of people, as has been repeatedly claimed by various irresponsible politicians – he pointed out.

– I accuse [...] public debate on migration issues of a certain populism and demagoguery. This is because something very dangerous is happening in this debate, I think partly influenced by the elections in the United States, that we are observing a dangerous race towards right-wing or even far-right demands, which often also touch upon humanitarian issues – said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in Polsat News.

– I believe it was worth going, because any conversation with the President of the United States can be important – said Marcin Kierwiński in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

– However, I must say that the President [Andrzej Duda] should conduct a thorough purge of his Chancellery. Because the way this visit was prepared, the way the President was treated, and here it's not even about the American side, but by his own associates, is appalling – he assessed.

In his opinion: – Someone allowed the authority of the President of the Republic of Poland, I mean the office, to be undermined. And there should be consequences for that. […] Therefore, the quality, rank, and setting of this visit should have been appropriate, befitting the president of a major European country.

– For me, it is natural that Mr. Morawiecki will be held responsible for what happened with the postal elections. Because he, with high probability – this will of course be determined by a court, please allow for a political assessment – in my opinion, broke the law and knew he was breaking the law – Marcin Kierwiński said on TVN24’s “Faktach po Faktach” (Facts after Facts).

– At that time, when these postal election matters were happening, Cezary Tomczyk and I were on a parliamentary inspection at the Ministry of State Assets. We heard from one of the ministers then that there were no signatures from Mr. Sasin, or anyone from the Ministry of State Assets, because they knew exactly what the consequences were and that Morawiecki should be responsible for it – he continued.

– So, there was full awareness within PiS that the law was being broken at the time. And if the law was being broken, then it is good that Morawiecki will be held accountable – he emphasized.

– For a long time now, Mr. Nawrocki, as a PiS candidate, has actually been fighting for the extreme electorate of Konfederacja. He's racing against Mentzen to see who will make it to the second round. That's how I interpret this statement [regarding mandatory vaccinations] – said Marcin Kierwiński in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

– Once again, Mr. Nawrocki, driven by his own political interests, has made a terrible statement. Because it's a statement that should never come from a presidential candidate. It's harmful – he pointed out.

– If civilization's progress depended on people like Mr. Nawrocki, civilization probably wouldn't have left the caves yet – he assessed.

– In my opinion, [the significant increase in Sławomir Mentzen's support is thanks to] Mr. Nawrocki's weakness. Please note that Mr. Nawrocki isn't even reaching the electoral level of PiS. Even a part of PiS's electorate is looking for a different candidate than Nawrocki. And they are heading towards Mr. Mentzen – said Marcin Kierwiński in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

– I think Mr. Nawrocki will have a lot more to worry about, whether the second round will be obvious for him. Because it's visible that Mentzen is gaining within this very right-wing electorate, and Nawrocki is losing – he added.
