Karol Nawrocki, the candidate supported by PiS for president, will visit the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. A visit to OSP Orle is scheduled for 11:00 AM, a press conference regarding Siarzewo at 12:30 PM, and a meeting with local government officials at 1:30 PM.

At 3:30 PM, Nawrocki has a meeting scheduled at the Road and Bridge Enterprise and a press conference. At 4:30 PM, he will meet with foresters, village mayors, and local government officials. The last item on the agenda is an open meeting with residents in Tuchola at 6:00 PM.

At 11:30 AM, a press conference will be held in Warsaw by the head of the PiS parliamentary group, Mariusz Błaszczak, and MEP Patryk Jaki.

Also today, the parliamentary committee investigating Pegasus will interrogate – during closed sessions – former head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA) Ernest Bejda and former deputy head of the CBA Grzegorz Ocieczek.

Furthermore, as announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, today, along with Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty, he is set to present a candidate for the position of Minister of Science and Higher Education, thereby replacing Dariusz Wieczorek.

– It must be emphasized that there has been a delicate, but significant, breakthrough in this matter concerning Polish-Ukrainian relations. Ukraine has begun to change its approach in this regard, because until now it has indeed avoided accounting for the crime that took place in Volhynia – said Krzysztof Hetman in an interview with Dominika Wielowieyska on Poranek TOK FM.

– My political circle, also through Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, has been saying for a long time that regarding the EU and regarding negotiations and accession to the EU, Ukraine must seriously approach the issue related to the burial of those who perished in that territory – he indicated.

– We do not share the same opinion [as Karol Nawrocki], because we are primarily talking about accession to the EU, and above all, we are talking about something that Ukraine should have done a long time ago – he added.

– Such a transport is protected, at least it should be protected […] by the Military Counterintelligence Service. The problem is that the head of the SKW is a politician, namely General Stróżyk. Why a politician? Because he is being used by Donald Tusk to attack the opposition, he creates these reports which are also compromising – said Mariusz Błaszczak in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM, when asked what should happen after the loss of the mine transport.

– First and foremost, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz is not coping; those who know the matter from the inside commonly say that the Ministry of National Defence is run by a deputy minister from Civic Platform – he continued.

– No, because it wouldn't be effective – he added, when asked if PiS would submit a motion of no confidence against Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

– Yes [the state should control internet content]. Because the internet was created without any limitations, which isn't possible with normal, old media, as media outlets are responsible for what they write, while anonymous internet users are not held accountable – stated Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

– We have a draft bill prepared which will stipulate that one cannot hide behind an anonymous post, and that if something is written that is against the law, such an internet user can be identified – he continued.

– I think that the main characteristic of Karol Nawrocki's activity now will be opposition to internet censorship, which the government is trying to impose – Mariusz Błaszczak said on RMF FM.

– This is a significant departure from the ideas that guided these European regulations. It is, in effect, the introduction of censorship on the internet, and it should not be this way. This law [implementing the EU's Digital Services Act], in the form it has been presented, assumes that not only security services but also the Police, and even the sanitary inspection, will be able to report content they deem illegal to the electronic communications office, and within two days, the office will have to make a decision on the matter – stated Janusz Cieszyński on Radio Wnet.

– There is no possibility that these regulations, in their current form, will remain. I think there will be a very large protest. Moreover, even the deputy minister of digitalization from Poland2050, Michał Gramatyka, wrote on X yesterday that this is not a good idea – he continued.

– I think that the primary reason [the government wants to revoke Republic's license and block X] is that it's evident that conservative emotions prevail online, those that are most problematic for the current authorities. This is because it's clear that what's happening in Poland, the assessment of the government's actions, is negative, and therefore, the goal is to suppress these emotions before the presidential elections, precisely with the help of such censorship laws – Janusz Cieszyński said on Radio Wnet.

– And then, if they manage to achieve their plan of electing a president from their own camp, they would have an open highway to introduce any legal changes, including those that would undermine freedom of speech – he continued.

– Doctor Karol Nawrocki is under fire, so I assume that some portion of respondents are simply not answering who they will vote for, and I believe they will vote for Karol Nawrocki – Mariusz Błaszczak said on RMF FM.

– You need to ask my boss, Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz. From what I've heard, there were discussions between Minister [Barbara Nowacka] and the Deputy Prime Minister. Therefore, I assume that what the Deputy Prime Minister said is true – stated Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski on Radio Zet.

– It seems to me that some agreement was reached [regarding health education]. I think it's a matter of parental decisions, that parents should decide how to raise children, which is also in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland – he continued.

– I think the Deputy Prime Minister didn’t say it groundlessly – he added.

– I am sure that Minister [Barbara Nowacka] will have an opportunity to discuss this topic [health education] with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz. The Prime Minister said nothing new – said Krzysztof Hetman on TOK FM Morning.

– We have consistently presented our position on these lessons and this subject in school for a long time. We are very pleased with Minister Nowacka's declaration that there will be no ideology there, from either side – he continued.

– However, I am certain that some parents will expect to be able to make a decision – after familiarizing themselves with the scope of these lessons – as to whether their children will be able to participate in these lessons or not – he continued.

– Perhaps Minister Nowacka wanted to present everyone with a fait accompli. However, Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, by saying that it will be an optional lesson, certainly didn't come up with it himself, and I am convinced that it was the result of discussions held on this topic within our coalition – he assessed.

– He will not have greater chances [than Karol Nawrocki] because Sławomir Mentzen is an extreme politician… Polish society is not extreme, but I admit honestly that I count on Sławomir Mentzen's voters supporting Doctor Karol Nawrocki in the second round – said Mariusz Błaszczak in RMF FM.

– In my opinion, no, in my opinion, we won't get [the money] because there is no democracy in Poland, there is a 'fighting democracy' [...] and Tusk decides everything, and Tusk has already decided that he will try to close the system by all means, so he will support and is supporting his deputy, Rafał Trzaskowski, by breaking the law – said Mariusz Błaszczak on RMF FM.

– Hunters undergo the same examinations and are subject to the same regulations as everyone else who wishes to own a firearm in our country. The difference, in connection with the proposed regulations that were rejected, is that hunters would have to undergo such examinations periodically – Krzysztof Hetman stated on TOK FM Morning.

– And now the question arises: why should periodic examinations apply to hunters, this group of 130,000 people, when we also have nearly 300,000 sports shooters, and we do not want to apply such a regulation to them? […] Why should only hunters be subject to these periodic examinations, and why are they, in a way, stigmatized as gun owners? – he stated.

– Blocking X, in the sense of making the platform non-functional, is a bad idea, but every platform should have its limitations, just like traditional media – stated Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski on Radio Zet.

– Hunters truly play an extremely important role in the entire process of maintaining forests and ecosystems, and it's a shame this is somehow forgotten. Because I look with regret at how hunters are treated today as a group – I apologize for the word, with all due respect to hunters – but as some primitive group of people who engage in a kind of strange entertainment – said Krzysztof Hetman on TOK FM's Morning Show.

– Such cases […] of shooting a bystander are recorded once in 6 million, while the shooting of a hunter during a hunt by another hunter is one in 3 million. So, it is clearly visible that these statistics, to put it mildly, are not alarming – he stated.

– No, because it makes no sense at all, this bill – said Mariusz Błaszczak on RMF FM, when asked if PiS would support an incidental bill after PSL amendments.

– The regulations are clear, it's just that the other side disregards them. […] This is a post-communist approach, because they believe that the system for appointing judges can only be as it was during communist times; the Council of State used to appoint them, and those appointed by President Andrzej Duda cannot be denied judgeship – he continued.

– They [the proposed changes] deepen the chaos in the justice system – he added.

– No, I don't know anything about that. There were no American pressures, the matter is just difficult because from a legal point of view the ICC exists, which we recognize, as confirmed by the Chancellery of the President, that we recognize this tribunal, but this is a special case because the situation of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of a place which is the largest Jewish cemetery in the world, is a special situation – stated Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski on Radio Zet.

– No. Actually, this matter has been known for a very long time. We have had a different stance from our colleagues for a long time – said Krzysztof Hetman on TOK FM Morning, when asked if the issue of the draft bill concerning hunters is an example of growing differences of opinion between Polska 2050 and PSL.

– The question also is, to what extent do all members of Polska 2050 agree with the position of the individuals who submitted this parliamentary draft bill – he added.

– The government dreams of censorship without a court ruling. Anna Maria Żukowska published fragments of the Council of Ministers' regulations on X, stating, among other things, that “a member of the Council of Ministers may not publicly criticize the government and projects submitted by other members of the Council of Ministers or decisions made by them within their purview.”

The regulations also stipulate that ministers must “refrain from actions that undermine the internal cohesion of the policy established by the Council of Ministers.”

“Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz is violating these regulations. Does Prime Minister Donald Tusk intend to tolerate this?” wrote Anna Maria Żukowska.

The remarks in question were made by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz regarding health education in schools: “the subject will be optional, it will be a parental decision. I think it will be devoid of any ideology, right-wing or left-wing.” Previous announcements from the Ministry of National Education suggested that the subject would be mandatory.

– Today, for the third time, Ernest Bejda has failed to appear despite our summons. Consequently, we have voted on two motions: one for a financial penalty and another for his apprehension and coercive appearance – said Magdalena Sroka at a press conference.

– It is not up to witnesses to interpret; they receive summonses, and their obligation is to appear before the commission – she continued.

– There is evidence that the court assesses the motions we send to it in a completely independent manner. If the court deemed that two summonses were not enough to speak of persistence, we summoned Mr. Ernest Bejda for a third time – she elaborated, after journalists pointed out that the court had previously refused to order the coercive appearance of the former CBA head.

– If today, for the third time, he fails to appear, I believe the court should no longer have doubts that this persistent non-appearance is occurring, and this time it will grant the motion for apprehension and coercive appearance – she added.

– Judges who were appointed under the 2017 law, meaning judges who are not trusted by those currently ruling Poland, have been demoted, as that is what must be called. It is also very characteristic that these repressions concern judges appointed after 2017, but exclusively those adjudicating criminal cases, as judges in civil or economic cases have not encountered such repressions. The entire point of this is to arrange judicial panels, so that the District Court in Warsaw, as a political court, carrying out political orders originating from Donald Tusk's Chancellery and from Tusk himself, reacts as Tusk wishes. Is this not authoritarianism? This is authoritarianism, these are the times of communism. Communism has returned to Poland – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– The team of December 13th, with Bodnar, is arranging judicial panels for political cases, and there is not a word of exaggeration in this. Details – special departments and sections have been prepared in the appellate and district courts in Warsaw for imprisoning political opponents – said Patryk Jaki.

– If a judge is drawn for a case that they do not want that judge for, they simply assign it to another draw, and if they are drawn again, to yet another draw. This way, Tusk always wins, just like Reinders always played the lottery in a way that he would win – emphasized the PiS MEP.

– The same has been created in the District Court in Warsaw; simply, another illegal president has removed selected judges from adjudicating. And now the question is, what is the intention – he added.

– If someone can buy a company for three zlotys and thereby get delisted from the sanctions list, that's laughing in Poles' faces. […] Buying for three zlotys and selling assets. This looks like a scam. […] If the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Rafał Trzaskowski's colleagues in the government, are doing this […] it looks a bit like Warsaw wanted to buy this Russian gas, but sanctions were in the way – said Sebastian Kaleta at a press conference.

– It looks like a sham transaction so that people directly linked to Russia disappear from the registers, through a change in contract, so that Gazprom is not directly involved, perhaps some Kazakhstan will be involved now, and then there are no doubts – he continued.

– Rafał Trzaskowski […] should urgently explain himself today whether Warsaw's buses are running on Russian gas, this is a huge matter […]. We are talking about a powerful company with Russian capital that is directly linked to major energy companies close to Putin and a series of various actions aimed at having this company removed from the sanctions list in order to supply Warsaw's buses with this fuel – he added.

Within a system shaped in this manner, there are no guarantees of a fair trial, and decisions or verdicts made within such a system will not be tolerated by us. To be clear on this matter. And everyone involved in creating political sections is committing a crime. This is typical criminal activity, and sooner or later they will be held accountable for it – stated Patryk Jaki at a press conference.

– I perceive this attack on Dr. Karol Nawrocki and on the fans making a pilgrimage to Częstochowa as another round of attacks on circles that are critical of Donald Tusk. During Tusk’s first term, we also dealt with a war against football fans. Tusk was then called an idiot by the fans, and it angered him so much that he unleashed the police on fan communities – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

– Donald Tusk does not tolerate any criticism, hence this bill on internet censorship, which was prepared by the Ministry of Digital Affairs in Donald Tusk's government, and hence the attempt, at least that's what they say, to shut down TV Republika – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

– We are dealing with a matter that should be included in the report on Russian influence in our country. We are dealing with Rafał Trzaskowski's entanglement with a Russian company. I don't know if he knew about it or not. If he knew, then it's worse; if he didn't know, it proves he is lazy and does not control the institutions subordinate to him – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

– Let's remember that every regime falls sooner or later. The Soviets fell too. So, Tusk's regime will also fall, especially since Donald Trump, who is extremely sensitive, even allergic, to everything related to censorship, won the elections in the USA. The very fact that Elon Musk will be in Trump's administration is the best evidence of this – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

– I sympathize with him [Donald Tusk], because if the X portal is shut down, how will he reprimand, for instance, the Minister of Finance Domański? He will lose the opportunity to exert influence, pressure on Minister Domański. He might even think he can act as a state official should, within the law and based on the law – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– The Ministry of Interior and Administration also fought in court last year and won, securing the company's continued presence on the sanctions list. Moreover, we are pursuing a very strict sanctions policy towards Russia, as 28 companies were added to such a list last year. Therefore, in each of these cases, an analysis is conducted and decisions are made – said Tomasz Siemoniak at a press conference, when asked about reports by WP concerning MZA and Russian gas.

– In this case […] the owners of the company changed, thus the formal basis changed. However, as everyone knows, decisions were made regarding the introduction of an embargo on gas purchases from Russia, so-called LPG gas, and the general situation has changed. Of course, here at the Ministry of Interior and Administration and at the ABW [Internal Security Agency] […] we will strive in such situations, when doubt arises, to act and react if we suspect any kind of fiction – he continued.

– We are clarifying these matters, the detailed issues […] are being clarified by the Internal Security Agency. I am the last person who would allow for any pretenses here. However, ministry officials act in accordance with the law, they are guided by the National Court Register. If there were no doubts about foreign shareholders, Russian shareholders, then such decisions were made – he continued, when asked about the company's removal from the sanctions list after its sale.

– If anyone made a mistake here, it will certainly be accounted for – he added.

– In light of the project currently under discussion within the government, such opinions [about censorship] are absolutely exaggerated, and I would expect a substantive discussion here on how to proceed in various matters – said Tomasz Siemoniak at a press conference, when asked about the idea of combating illegal content online and accusations from PiS that it amounts to censorship.

– I would like to remind you that a few months ago, with everyone's consent, we introduced regulations that allow the Internal Security Agency to block content of a terrorist or espionage nature, and no one questioned it then – he continued.

– We are on the verge of decisions. I cannot imagine such things happening without judicial review, and we will certainly raise this issue… the court should decide in such cases, including when it comes to the internet – he added.

– These reactions, the storm surrounding this, are a matter of emotions that are likely appearing due to the election campaign. No one in the government has the slightest intention of censoring the internet – he concluded.

– This is terrifying because, on the one hand, as I understand it, a minister subordinate to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, namely the Minister of Interior and Administration, or his officials, removes a company from the sanctions list. There's also an amount mentioned for which this company was sold, apparently three zlotys, in order to bring about this type of situation where it can be removed from the sanctions list – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– One official subordinate to Prime Minister Donald Tusk causes a specific company cooperating with Gazprom to be removed from the sanctions list, and another official and politician, subordinate to the same Prime Minister Donald Tusk, namely his deputy Rafał Trzaskowski, causes Warsaw's city buses, and therefore a Warsaw company, to use this gas and this firm. This is a very dangerous matter for the Polish state – he continued.

– I hope the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister will organize a press conference and explain to Poles what it is actually about [regarding Russian gas]. In the context of these discussions about attempts to limit freedom online, I am filled with dread that in a year, two years, or 10 years, we might not find ourselves in a situation where we are once again supplied with Russian gas, and we won't be able to write about it on the internet because it will be taken away from us – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– This is very obvious information, in fact, that the support for the Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform is falling. We are observing this election campaign, which lacks dynamism, a backward-looking campaign, a campaign in which the Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform, Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, essentially represents 7 contradictory stances within a single week towards himself. If his support has fallen, it means that Poles see this too – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– The Institute of National Remembrance was informed today that a meeting will take place at the Ministry of Culture. I attended a meeting with Minister Wróblewska some time ago, that meeting was substantive, reasonable, and we exchanged opinions. As for the breakthrough announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, we have no formal information about this breakthrough; there have already been many such media, public breakthroughs – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– Fifteen hundred people, with whom I met at Jasna Góra. Fifteen hundred fans, wonderful fans from all over Poland, who gather in reflection on the Republic, in reflection on their spirituality at Jasna Góra. They have the right to do so, I presume the editor does not deny them this right – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– I hope that neither the editor of [TVN] nor Prime Minister Donald Tusk, in light of this discussion and debate that is happening today, i.e., internet censorship, has any plans in Poland, besides the internet and the attack on TV Republika, to start censoring football stadiums as well, regarding the message emanating from them – he added.

– It was hate that killed Paweł Adamowicz, it was hate that killed Paweł Adamowicz, and unfortunately, it seemed like it would be a moment of reflection for some, but that reflection was lacking. I remind you of the hounded son of MP Filiks […] at this moment, the hate and slander directed towards Jerzy Owsiak and the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– This shows what kind of cynicism, unfortunately, rules the right side of the political scene today, because attacking Jerzy Owsiak, attacking the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, which has done so much good for Polish healthcare […] is something absolutely unprecedented, and of course, we do not consent to this – he continued.

– I am absolutely convinced that the President of the Republic of Poland should fight against vitriol, should fight against hatred, should ensure that this fight also has a legal character. I also hope that the Polish Church will join this fight against hatred and vitriol – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– You all watched those scenes from Jasna Góra, it is very saddening that we are dealing with this type of language in a place so important to all Poles, that we are dealing with the shouting of such slogans, with the instrumentalization of children – he continued.

– I will not rest until there are solutions that combat hatred and hate speech, because there can be no tolerance here; hate and hatred must be ruthlessly eliminated from social media and from our political life altogether – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– I promise you that the President of the Republic, should I become him, will also become the patron of all kinds of initiatives aimed at fighting hate and hatred in the most effective way possible – he continued.

"Russian gas in Warsaw buses and Russian internet censorship standards. For three zlotys, a Russian company is removed from the sanctions list, and information about this would disappear from public discourse.
This is why they want to shut down independent media and censor the internet – so there is nothing but their propaganda. The march towards dictatorship continues," wrote Jarosław Kaczyński on X.

– This is a question for the government [whether health education should be voluntary or mandatory]. I believe that, of course, such health education is necessary, but it should be voluntary. The decision here should be left to parents; I think that will be better for all of us – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– This information regarding the depot reached me a week ago. I won’t hide the fact that I am very concerned by the whole situation. I have spoken with the company many times on this subject because the company has explained these matters repeatedly, also directing questions to the Ministry of Interior and Administration, as this company was removed from the sanctions list. However, I have once again sent questions to the Ministry of Interior and Administration to clarify this matter beyond any doubt – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– I say again, I was not informed about this. The company, however, acted based on existing law and also sent inquiries to the ministry, because it is not the company that makes decisions about whether someone is on the sanctions list or not. I say again, the state-owned company supplied this gas through the terminal in Świnoujście. I am not downplaying this – he continued.

– I said from the very beginning that these polls would tighten. I told you that this fight would be very, very fierce, an electoral battle, and that everything would be decided in the second round. And I am absolutely convinced that in this second round, the results will be very close, very similar – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– I believe that the real differences between the KO candidate, that is me, and the PiS candidate are small. Besides, all the surveys showing the differences between political parties indicate this. Moreover, more and more candidates are appearing. We will be able to assess anything, the true strength of the candidates, once the election campaign truly begins – he continued.

– All of you have seen what happened at Jasna Góra, and now it is enough to ask yourself: is Jasna Góra, which is such an important symbol for all of us, really a place where an election campaign should be conducted? Is Jasna Góra really a place where such shameful words, as were uttered, should be heard? – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– For me, this type of behavior by the candidate, the people who surrounded him, the words that were spoken are simply deeply outrageous, and it is certainly not a place where any election campaign should be conducted – he added.

– It will not be possible to build an economically strong, economically robust, and socially strong Republic, an economically strong Poland, without awareness and without efforts in this direction, to eliminate once and for all the concept of dividing Poland into “Poland A” and “Poland B”. We should invest locally to also benefit centrally – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– As the future president of the Republic of Poland, I will be both a proponent and a guardian of Poland's sustainable development, which will include investments in roads and railways in cities like Świecie, in counties across Poland, and the distribution of financial resources in Poland, which will be growing in strength, must proceed in a sustainable manner – he continued.

– I will never agree to dividing Poland into “Poland A” and “Poland B”; there is only one Poland – he added.

– When I look at the current situation and I hear that they want to take away our freedom, whether online, or the freedom to broadcast TV stations like Republika, or that journalists are being expelled from press conferences in Poland, that there's an attempt to censor stadium stands and the slogans that fans raise at their stadiums and in public places, I publicly ask myself if this is what we waited for in the 21st century, for the freedom we have, which we enjoy, and which builds us as a national community, to be questioned today simply because the rulers are failing at ruling – stated Karol Nawrocki in Tuchola.

– I stand before you precisely for this reason, as a civic candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Poland, so that the system, about which I will say more, does not close itself off. Because this system is bad, because this system does not serve the Republic, because this system wants to limit our freedom – stated Karol Nawrocki in Tuchola.

– I am a proponent of a strong Poland in the EU, one that is capable of tackling the most important issues on behalf of Poles. Yes, a strong Poland in the EU, not the EU in every sector of public life in Poland, in the Polish forest, Polish school, Polish rule of law system. This freedom, for which generations of our ancestors fought, is being surrendered by some political circles as if it were not backed by the blood, labor, and suffering of the Polish nation – stated Karol Nawrocki in Tuchola.

– I will never agree to the signing of the agreement between the EU and Mercosur and I will lobby in diplomatic circles to have it broken, because it does not serve Polish agriculture – stated Karol Nawrocki in Tuchola.

– I will have no problem cooperating with Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s government in making good decisions for Poland. I won’t, because [...] I feel obligated to Poles. If there are good laws meant to help Poles, I am ready to sign such laws – stated Karol Nawrocki in Tuchola.

– If I were to speculate what would happen if people who are rumoured to be running, and here we're talking about Mr. Zandberg, Mr. Braun, and also Mr. Stanowski… – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program “Gość Radia ZET”.

– He said, at this moment it is not yet, as I understand it, one hundred percent certain, although he did say that, but rather other people from the left are saying something a bit different – she continued after the host pointed out that Adrian Zandberg had already announced he would run in the elections.

– There is an ongoing discussion about whether Ukraine will finally give its consent to something so obvious, necessary for our direct relations, and essential from my point of view as the head of the IPN – namely, whether it will agree to the exhumation of Poles in Volhynia – stated Karol Nawrocki in Tuchola.

– If the institution I lead were invited by the government to perform its statutory duties […], I believe the state would be disappointed, and I wouldn't be myself if I said that solely because I don't hold particular affection for Prime Minister Donald Tusk, I would refuse cooperation with the government on the exhumation of Poles in Volhynia – he declared.

"They should have such an obligation" – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Radio ZET, when asked if developers would be obliged to disclose apartment prices.

"Yes, there should be and will be a parliamentary initiative [from Poland 2050] […] we are counting on cooperation here, so that finally apartments are not subject to privileged players on the market, so that the good of the client, the good of people buying apartments, is paramount, they deserve to know the price, just like any other customer" – she continued.

"It will be ready in a few weeks" – she added.

– I am truly astonished, to put it mildly, by this article, because we received a series of questions […] and we provided exhaustive answers to all of them – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Radio ZET when asked about Newsweek’s reports on irregularities in the finances of Poland 2050.

– This is untrue, it is simply an absolute untruth [that Szymon Hołownia did not provide answers], I myself read those answers […]. We sent a full factual package, detailing what, how, and where was financed, and then such an article appears […] they selectively chose not to use it, frankly, it is very outrageous – she continued.

– We sent a statement after this article was published, which very clearly shows what the facts are, and these facts are completely different from those presented in this article – she added.

– As far as I know, Ms. Izabela Bodnar also intends to take legal action, but those are her decisions, however, for us, the most important thing is to present the facts – she concluded.

– I know nothing about such talks […] it’s not a good solution, mortgage subsidies […] developers benefit, people lose, and in the end, public money is invested in it – Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said on Radio ZET, when asked about discussions on a compromise regarding the 0% mortgage.

– In my opinion, it won't happen, certainly Poland 2050 will not vote for it, I hear that The Left is somehow following in our footsteps and saying something similar, so what majority would this happen with? – she continued.

– It is the Prime Minister's decision that this is not a good solution for the Polish labor market. […] Today, a negotiation mission by deputy ministers is underway, as several deputy ministers have traveled to Brussels to discuss various matters […] including other labor market reforms that have been identified by the government, by the Prime Minister, and also by the Ministry of Family as necessary and right – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Radio ZET, when asked why Poland wants to remove the mandate for mandatory social security contributions for all civil law contracts from the KPO (National Recovery Plan).

– Among other things, this is a reform to strengthen the National Labour Inspectorate […] however, mandatory social security contributions [for all civil law contracts] are not good, and now I am citing the argumentation, which is consistent from both the Prime Minister and myself as a negotiator on behalf of the entire government, so there is no room for any deviation or a personal agenda. It would increase labor costs in Poland and would not, in any significant way, increase social support – she continued.

– The majority of people working in Poland today already have social security contributions from other contracts – she added.

– ETS2 must be revised, that simply must happen […] and the rules in general, how it would work, should be revised, but above all, it must be postponed – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Radio ZET.

– In my opinion, it is realistic [to postpone ETS2] and it is needed and it is necessary – she continued.

– We need to see what's in this [internet content blocking] act. I would say that censorship is certainly not good; meaning, limiting freedom on the internet is not good – Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said on Radio ZET.

– We need to be very careful with this. Freedom on the internet is a great value, and limiting this value, censorship, is not good. However, let's not confuse freedom with some kind of complete, I would say, degradation – she continued after the host's remark that it would be an administrative decision.

– Our greatest attention should be focused on protecting children – she went on to say.

– When people are taught critical thinking, they are able to assess for themselves which content on the internet is misleading, which is fake news. However, when administrative decisions come into play, there immediately arises suspicion that they might be politically biased, and I would be very cautious about that – she added.

– ACTA 2 or ACTA3, censorship on the Internet, madness. How can one try to censor the Internet in the 21st century, especially in Poland? Poles are attached to freedom, and especially to freedom on the Internet. We remember the protests against ACTA1, ACTA2 didn't happen, and now they are trying ACTA3. I think this is caused by the bankruptcy of the political situation that the current government has led to, and they are also trying to prepare for the campaign; if something like this were introduced, it would mean they want this campaign to be truly dirty – stated Piotr Gliński in the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

– There is a discrepancy in the coalition's narrative, because the candidate for president from the current December 13th coalition also supposedly said something similar; Ms. Nowacka, with such a truly Bolshevik emphasis, claims that she will do it anyway, even over dead bodies – stated Piotr Gliński in Polsat News.

– I used a term that doesn't say Ms. Nowacka is a member of the Bolshevik party, but rather that with such a fundamental, ideological conviction, she believes she has the right or some mandate to introduce such draconian, ideological changes, because behind this stands a great post-Marxist ideology, which is already associated with Bolshevism – he continued.

– This is a continuation, as the first stage was permission to search. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not about searching; the victims have been found. Over two years ago, the Freedom and Democracy Foundation, in agreement with the Polish government and thanks to the professionalism and dedication of these people, gained trust. There was also involvement from Ukrainian archaeological firms and the Polish Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), and they obtained permission to search in the village of Puźniki, near Ternopil – said Piotr Gliński on Polsat News.

– The second issue, always after permission to search, is permission for exhumation. This request was filed over a year ago; the request for exhumation was filed while we were still in government – he added.

– This is a defeat for the Minister of Sport [if the Polish national team does not play at the National Stadium]. We have such a government where some grand competitions are held, precisely a sporting competition for the biggest bungler – said Piotr Gliński on Polsat News.

– I think Trzaskowski might be replaced, that's true. You can see his [support] is falling, Trzaskowski's, by 9% – stated Piotr Gliński on Polsat News.

– These are not rumors, but rather an attempt, just like the entire attack on Nawrocki, it's the only response our competitors have to our candidate's performance, because they are defenseless and cannot attack him, so they try either with hate speech or with ideas like [replacing Nawrocki with someone else] – he continued.
