08:25

Czarnek:

I Didn't Want to Be a Presidential Candidate

- I didn't want to be a presidential candidate, but when at the beginning of October I was told, specifically by the party leader, that I should be considered and examined because I had a good chance, well, such a train departs only once. I talked to my family then and explained the situation, although the family wasn't particularly thrilled - stated Przemysław Czarnek in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:33

"Filth"About Nawrocki: Czarnek on Media Reports

- It will certainly be a very strong election campaign, perhaps even brutal, as can already be seen from these reports in some media, the filth about Karol Nawrocki. Besides, complete misunderstandings and absurdities - stated Przemysław Czarnek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- If these are dangerous connections, I'm still talking about our friend, then what can be said about Mr. Trzaskowski's connections with pedophiles from foundations that also received money from the budget of the capital city of Warsaw, as Sebastian Kaleta spoke about yesterday? I also don't know with whom I have had my picture taken many times, including last Sunday - he continued.

08:49

Błaszczak:

There is no internal report on Nawrocki, it's a libel available online
- There is no internal report concerning Karol Nawrocki, there is some libel that is indeed available somewhere online, but it is libel because Mr. Karol Nawrocki has had a great start, a civic candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Poland, and he is stirring emotions, positive emotions - said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia ZET," when asked who wrote the internal report concerning Karol Nawrocki. - I don't know who the author of such a report was, certainly it was not commissioned, as is being insinuated, by Law and Justice [...] such lies are appearing [that the report was commissioned by Jarosław Kaczyński], there will be a reaction from our side, a lawsuit will be filed against politicians from Civic Platform who present such insinuations - he continued.

08:53

Błaszczak:

God Willing, After Nawrocki's Victory, the 'Concrete' in the Judiciary Will Be Crushed
- It must be said clearly that the resistance of the matter is very great, but just as I crushed the 'concrete' in the Ministry of National Defence, and that 'concrete' was there and unfortunately it is returning now, so God willing, after the victory of Doctor Karol Nawrocki, who will become President of the Republic, he will be a good president for our homeland, the 'concrete' in the judiciary will also be crushed - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET.

08:55

Błaszczak Rules Out Replacing the PiS Candidate:

He Will Simply Deliver.
- No. He will deliver, he will simply deliver, we won't be making any substitutions - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET, when asked if a "substitution" would be made if Karol Nawrocki did not perform well in the campaign.

09:03

Błaszczak on the Current Leadership of the Ministry of National Defence and the Armed Forces Support Fund:

They Fell into Their Own Trap.
- Yesterday, it turned out that the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence admitted they would not fulfill the budget for this year, for '24 [...] I am talking about the fact that the Armed Forces Support Fund will not be realized - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET. - This is a real assessment, an accurate assessment of the situation, that they will not execute 20 billion zlotys from the budget this year, why? Because they wanted to hit me, and they got hit themselves by ricochet. It concerns the story related to the fact that in June this year they negatively opined on the execution of the budget for 2023 [...] because they didn't like the advances [...] for equipment, for purchasing equipment, weapons - he continued. - They fell into their own trap and now they will not execute 20 billion zlotys from the budget for the current year, '24 - he went on to say.

09:07

Błaszczak on Tomczyk:

A Failure.
- A failure, Mr. Editor, a failure, well, a failure [...] this Deputy Minister from Civic Platform. Of course, these rockets are American, so one should talk to the Americans, and I initiated such talks - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET, when asked about a statement by Cezary Tomczyk, from which it follows that Błaszczak did not include the purchase of necessary armaments in the contract for the FA-50 aircraft.

- Of course, I was arranging them, I just didn't have enough time - he continued.

09:11

Błaszczak on energy prices and shield announcements:

They will look like this, as Tusk promised, that fuel will cost 5.19
- They will look like this, as Donald Tusk promised, that fuel at petrol stations will cost 5.19 - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET, when asked about Prime Minister Donald Tusk's statement that depending on energy prices, the shield may be extended.

09:12

Czarnek:

I Guarantee Nawrocki's Integrity 100%

- I guarantee Karol Nawrocki's honesty and integrity 100%, and the fact that he underwent scrutiny speaks volumes, as in 2021, four years ago, he was granted access to the highest state secrets by the services - stated Przemysław Czarnek on Polsat News' "Graffiti" program.

09:14

Błaszczak:

We Supported a Civic Candidate. This is One of the Conclusions Drawn After Losing Power
- We have drawn these conclusions, that in these presidential elections we supported [...] a civic candidate. This is one of the conclusions we have drawn - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET, when asked about PiS drawing conclusions after losing power following the recent parliamentary elections.

09:27

Czarnek on Pogonowski:

He Made a Mockery of the Commission.

- He did a great job, he made a mockery of the commission [Piotr Pogonowski], I watched fragments. I am proud that he is a professor from KUL, a professor from Belweder, but an employee of KUL for many years. He handled those who couldn't ask him questions and talked nonsense perfectly - stated Przemysław Czarnek on Polsat News's “Graffiti”.

09:29

Czarnek:

Our Candidate Will Win, Followed by the Dismantling of the December 13th Coalition and a Return to Normalcy

- Our candidate [for president] will win, followed by the dismantling of the December 13th coalition and a return to normalcy, including the recognition of the reality of the Polish state in the realm of the judiciary, including the Constitutional Tribunal - stated Przemysław Czarnek on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

10:15

Nawrocki:

The Third Polish Republic Failed in Healthcare. I Will Take It Under My Special Patronage

- The Third Polish Republic has failed to manage healthcare and the healthcare system since 1989. Regardless of the changing governments, today, in 2024, we are in a situation where many district hospitals often lack basic medications, IV drips, and citizens, residents of many Polish districts, report these kinds of problems to me - stated Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Żywiec.

- We should be building our healthcare system not just with the next parliamentary elections in mind, but create a cohesive system that gives Poles, patients – because the patient is the most important here – the feeling that healthcare in Poland has matured for our democratic moment, that every patient, regardless of whether they are in a district hospital, a local community, or a hospital in a large city, is cared for, and we are still waiting for that - the candidate continued.

- I wanted to convince you that as a civic candidate for the President of the Republic of Poland, I will take healthcare under my special patronage. It will be my primary concern for patients - he added.

10:40

Nawrocki:

I've Dedicated My Entire Life to Fighting for the Truth About Totalitarian Systems
- I want to make it clear that I have dedicated my entire professional and private life to fighting for the truth about totalitarian systems, about Soviet communism, about German National Socialism. For many years, I have been commemorating the victims of both these totalitarian systems - stated Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Żywiec.

10:51

Nawrocki:

The boxing ring hosts presidential candidates, priests, and even those who later had legal troubles.
- This document is a manipulation of truths, half-truths, and outright lies, which is why I am addressing it critically. It shows a complete lack of seriousness. Even in such a brutal political fight, to which I am prepared, I do not feel discouraged by such things in this political struggle - stated Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Żywiec. "You're not interested in the acquaintances of the PO Vice-Chairman" - I appeal to all journalists to maintain a bit of seriousness in this brutal fight. You, and some public media outlets, are not interested in the formalized acquaintances of the PO Vice-Chairman, who employed criminals, a man who collaborated with compromised officials of the communist state apparatus, yet you are dedicating your attention to people I met while performing my public duties within the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) - he continued. "I am proud to have participated in the resocialization process in prisons" As he pointed out: - I am proud that I participated in the resocialization process in Polish prisons, speaking to Polish prisoners and convincing them that there is always time to return to God and to the homeland. This is the scale of acquaintances, not the scale of acquaintances proper to the PO Vice-Chairman, i.e., financial, formalized, and ongoing. "On the boxing ring, people meet..." - I have met many people - and I am proud of this too - in the boxing ring during my training sessions. In this boxing ring, where such people meet: civic candidates for the President of the Republic of Poland, doctors of history, priests, altar servers, scientists, police officers, soldiers, but also individuals who, after some time since we met, had problems with the law - he stated.

10:54

Nawrocki on Report About Him: Deep Manipulation. I Encourage Tracing Formal Contacts of Civic Platform Deputy Leader
- The document you are referring to is a deep insinuation of things that pose no threat to a civic presidential candidate. I encourage all of you to trace the formal contacts of the Civic Platform's deputy leader, because this is a serious matter, and this [the report] is an unserious matter and deep manipulation - stated Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Żywiec.

11:20

Morawiecki on Nawrocki:

He is capable of bringing Poles closer together.

- [Karol Nawrocki] is a very effective manager. He proved this by managing two difficult institutions. But above all, he is also a person full of energy, dynamism, and ideas. A person who is also outside of politics. And I know that our political opponents will try to discredit this attribute of his, but he clearly embodies it - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Echo24 television.

- He is capable of bringing about something that Poland greatly needs, namely this Polish-Polish rapprochement, if not reconciliation, if that word is too strong for someone, then at least Polish-Polish rapprochement, and this is something that a candidate outside of politics can achieve - he continued.

11:20

Morawiecki on the second round:

Perhaps there will be a different opponent than a far-left contender.
If there is a second round, then probably yes [a debate], but I hope perhaps not necessarily, that perhaps Doctor Nawrocki will either win in the first round, or there will also perhaps be a different opponent than such a far-left contender for the presidency as Trzaskowski - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Echo24 television.

11:21

Morawiecki Asked About Report Concerning Nawrocki:

A Hodgepodge of False Information.

- I haven't familiarized myself with any document yet, but I have heard about it - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Echo24 television.

- This pseudo-document [concerning Karol Nawrocki], which you are referring to, I believe it is – I understand, you are asking about it, so I am referring to it – I believe it is a hodgepodge of false information, it is disinformation, it is manipulation. Prepared likely on the orders of our political opponents - he continued.

- Politics is full of such dirty PR tactics from the Civic Platform, and one could expect it, but I hope it will slide off him like water off a duck's back - added the former prime minister.

11:23

Morawiecki:

I Personally Place Great Hopes in Trump

- Republicans are our sister party, so we were happy about that, and I personally place great hopes in President Trump. I believe he is a president who will base his actions not only on the rule of common sense but will also be able to stop those negative trends that affect the free world, that affect the West. Such as the growing power of China and the aggressive policy of Russia - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on Echo24 television.

12:28

Tusk:

We May Face Breakthrough Events Regarding War and Peace

- Our priorities are not routine in nature. Poland's presidency is not meant to simply get through these next 6 months. We may face breakthrough events concerning war and peace to the east of our border. We also face the task of the Polish presidency, as well as a deep correction of some European priorities - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Council of the EU and members of the Council of Ministers.

- Everyone is slowly coming around to this, but I will say without malicious satisfaction - it has taken far too long in Europe for our partners to understand that the issue of security, a realistic assessment of our relations with Russia, is a fundamental issue for the future of the entire EU, that things as obvious today as the competitiveness of the European economy, Europe's assertiveness, sovereignty understood as a firm stance in defense of European interests, that all of this must become a fact, not just a postulate, and of course security, defense, Europe's engagement in those places upon which our security depends, a unified policy towards Russia, all of this will be one of those key priorities, and this will also require politics with a capital 'P' - he continued.

12:29

Tusk on a Political Offensive in Europe:

Time for a Full Awakening.

- This will also be the moment when we need to loudly tell Europe: it's time for a full awakening, it's time to reject all geopolitical and ideological illusions. We must become an organism capable not only of survival but also of a political offensive - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Council of the EU and members of the Council of Ministers.

- We will be very determined in ensuring that Europe starts thinking about many matters from Poland's perspective. This is not driven by egoism or excessive ambition, but by the conviction that on these fundamental issues, especially concerning security, it has often been the case that we were right, but they didn't want to listen to us - he continued.

12:54

Visa Scandal Investigative Committee: Milewski Claims 300,000 Illegal Visas Were Intended, Demands Proof
- In this draft resolution, submitted by Mr. Sowa and friends, there isn't a single name. The number isn't specified, and yet there were supposed to be 300,000 illegal visas, meaning 300,000 people who illegally entered Poland as a result of purchased visas. Please show me [...] just one visa that was issued illegally - said Daniel Milewski during the meeting of the investigative committee concerning the visa scandal. - If you point out such a case, then I kindly ask you to identify the name of the consul who issued such a visa. If you identify the name of the consul who illegally issued a visa, then in the motions to the prosecutor's office, we will discuss the legality of these motions later, this name should be the primary one - he continued. - Before we start making accusations, I don't know, against the Prime Minister or any of these individuals whom you are trying to present on a platter to the esteemed Sejm as supposedly guilty of what you have termed the visa scandal, and which in reality was your perfidious, electoral, visa-related lie, before you accuse any high-ranking official, show us what kind of pressure, if any, they exerted on a specific person - he went on to say.

12:57

A Scenario of Lies That Won You a Government Majority, Not Even an Election. Milewski on Visa Scandal Committee Findings
- As a Member of Parliament for the Law and Justice party [...] I was truly full of hope that perhaps there was indeed some mistake somewhere, that you perhaps hadn't lied to Poles. But these quarter-sheets of paper are a scenario of the visa lie through which you wanted to, and did, win a government majority, not even an election, and we will not allow you any more lies - stated Daniel Milewski during the session of the investigative committee for the visa scandal.

13:06

Sowa Responds to PiS MPs:

There is no doubt a mechanism was created to collect visas for bribes.
- There was another question [...] for at least one example of a visa obtained illegally. So I will quote you a fragment of the testimony [...] of prosecutor Beata Wojdak, who is conducting this investigation in the prosecutor's office - said Marek Sowa during a session of the investigative committee for the visa scandal. - The witness, prosecutor Wojdak, answers: "these 358 visas were obtained improperly. They are not only expedited, but also influenced. These are cascading orders, so these are visas obtained improperly." There is no doubt that a corruption-generating mechanism was created, which [...] enabled the collection of visas for bribes - he continued.

13:21

"Misleading the Public". Sowa Comments on PiS MPs' "Alternative Findings"
- You will be ashamed of this document, which is why you will not show it anywhere. [...] You were rushing with this at the beginning of June, showing that you had some 30-page alternative findings. Today, it's 34 pages. Of these 34 pages, 11 pages are about the unconstitutionality of this commission. I don't know what this is about. The commission was established in December by a Sejm resolution [...] and this was not even stated by the so-called Tribunal of Mrs. Przyłębska - said Marek Sowa during the session of the investigative committee for the visa scandal. - In the work of this commission, you have only noted two testimonies, those of Minister Kamiński and Mr. Majewski, and yet there were 37 witnesses here. You claim that we did not summon witnesses who were called by the commission. I want to say that this is misleading the public - he continued.

13:53

Visa Scandal Inquiry Committee Concludes Work; Referrals to Prosecutor's Office Include Morawiecki and Rau

The inquiry committee investigating the visa scandal has adopted a resolution in a vote where 7 members were in favor and three were against. The resolution was adopted with amendments proposed by committee members representing the ruling coalition and Krzysztof Mulawa from Konfederacja. Amendments by Daniel Milewski from PiS were not accepted.

The committee also elected its rapporteur, who will be Marek Sowa.

The committee also decided to notify the prosecutor's office of the possibility of criminal offenses being committed by, among others, Mateusz Morawiecki, Zbigniew Rau, Mariusz Kamiński, Andrzej Stróżny, and Jadwiga Emilewicz.

17:12

Bodnar on Ziobro:

No One Can Be Above the Law.

- I hope that the Sejm will efficiently carry out the procedure to lift Zbigniew Ziobro's immunity. The motion in this regard was initiated by the Pegasus Investigative Committee. No one can be above the law, including the former Minister of Justice – wrote Adam Bodnar on social media.

- A summoned witness has an obligation to appear before the Committee and give testimony, telling the honest truth, concealing nothing that is known to them. This is the law and it must be respected – he emphasized.

17:14

Sejm Committee on Rules of Procedure Delayed: Wójcik Claims Trzaskowski Caused Ziobro's Traffic Jam

The proper course of the Sejm Committee on Rules of Procedure meeting was delayed due to the absence of Zbigniew Ziobro. PiS MPs appealed to the chairman to wait for the former Minister of Justice, who is already en route.

- Zbigniew Ziobro cannot arrive because of Rafał Trzaskowski, due to the traffic jams in Warsaw - stated Michał Wójcik.

18:04

I am ready to appear before the Pegasus committee. Ziobro sets a condition
- Since the coalition took power on December 13th, we have been witnessing a demonstrative, ostentatious display of law-breaking, including the commission of criminal offenses by representatives of the ruling camp - said Zbigniew Ziobro before the regulations committee. - The best expression of this audacity, impunity, and insolence are the statements of Prime Minister Donald Tusk [...] who stated, among other things, and I quote: "we are committing acts that, according to some legal authorities, will be inconsistent or not entirely consistent with the provisions of the law" - he continued. - Every MP, before accepting their mandate, takes an oath of allegiance to the Constitution. I took that oath and treated the words very seriously. And therefore, I do not intend to tolerate the ostentatious breaking of the law that Donald Tusk announced here, which [...] is also reflected in the rulings of the Constitutional Tribunal, which stated that the resolution establishing the Pegasus investigative committee is contrary to the Polish Constitution and indicated the necessity of changing it - he went on to say. - If the Sejm adopts a resolution consistent with the recommendations of the Constitutional Tribunal, even today, then I am ready to appear before the Pegasus committee today, it can be with the same composition, it is not a particularly demanding composition, and therefore I declare that this will happen. If the law is respected in Poland - he added.

18:14

Ziobro Declares Compliance with Constitutional Tribunal Ruling:

You Will Not Intimidate Me.
- You will not intimidate me with penalties, threats, or in any way characteristic of states resorting to violence, threats, and fear, to participate in the process of breaking the law, to help you in this undertaking - said Zbigniew Ziobro before the rules committee.

- The verdict in the case of the resolution establishing the Pegasus committee has been delivered. It is [...] unambiguous. It annuls the possibility of the committee functioning in the form in which it was established by the Sejm. [...] I have a duty to respect, to abide by, and to defend this verdict, and I will consistently do so, and nothing will force me or break me into not doing it - he continued.

18:18

Ziobro:

I Listened With Regret to Insinuations Claiming I Was Faking Illness
- Regarding your remarks of a health nature, Mr. Chairman, I would like to tell you that I listened with regret in the initial period of my illness to insinuations suggesting I was allegedly faking my illness, which often came from the benches of your colleagues – said Zbigniew Ziobro before the rules committee.

18:22

Ziobro:

I hope those who commit crimes will face severe accountability, and I will contribute to that
- Yes, I am recovering and I hope to be healthy enough to fight for a free Poland, for the rule of law, and for honesty in the realm of Polish power, Polish politics, and Polish justice. I hope that those who commit these crimes, one could say, through continuous action, will face severe accountability, and I will contribute to that – said Zbigniew Ziobro before the standing orders committee.

18:30

Sroka:

The Innocent Have Nothing to Fear. We Do Not Use Torture at the Commission
- I appeal to you to stop being frightening, because one day you frighten the Prosecutor General, the next day the Prime Minister, the third day the members of the commission. Really, calmly get on with your work - said Magdalena Sroka at the meeting of the Sejm Commission on Regulations. - The innocent have nothing to fear. We do not use torture at the commission. We summon people for interrogation. And every person summoned to a commission meeting has an obligation to answer questions, and above all, to appear when summoned - she continued.

18:53

Bosacki:

It's Not the Role of a Summonsed Person to Decide if a Commission is Operating Legally
- Article 11, paragraph 1 of the Act on Parliamentary Investigative Commissions clearly states: every person summoned by the commission is obliged to appear within the designated time and give testimony. Every person. It is not the role of the summoned person to decide whether the commission is operating legally or illegally. This is not the role of the summoned person, even if it is someone avoiding this commission [...] Mr. Zbigniew Ziobro - said Marcin Bosacki during a meeting of the regulations committee. "The Constitutional Tribunal Has No Right to Examine Such a Sejm Resolution" - I agree with Mr. Chairman that the Constitutional Tribunal also lacks the jurisdiction to examine this role, because the resolution constitutes a one-time creative act, and is not a source of law. Therefore, the Constitutional Tribunal has no right to examine this type of Sejm resolution. The only body that could revoke the commission's mandate is the body that appointed us, i.e., the Sejm of the Republic of Poland - he continued.

19:52

Regulation Committee Decides on Detention and Compulsory Attendance of Ziobro at Inquiry Committee
- The committee will submit a proposal to the Sejm to adopt a motion [...] for the Sejm to consent to the detention and compulsory attendance of MP Zbigniew Ziobro at a session of the parliamentary inquiry committee [on Pegasus] - informed the chairman of the parliamentary regulation committee, Jarosław Urbaniak.

20:57

Giertych:

Ziobro Hopes to Gather a Majority in the Sejm Hall. I Think He is Mistaken

- [Zbigniew Ziobro] humbly came [to the committee meeting] perhaps to avoid the lifting of his immunity. He counts on gathering a majority in the Sejm hall. I think he is mistaken, but I believe it was a maneuver intended to help him avoid Mr. Pogonowski's fate - stated Roman Giertych on TVP Info.

20:59

Giertych:

Ziobro was the head of an organized criminal group siphoning funds from the Justice Fund

- Because I know the material of this investigation, due to my professional, not social capacity, as I am representing Tomasz Mraz, who is a minor key witness, I believe that the head of this organized criminal group, which was siphoning money from the Justice Fund, was Zbigniew Ziobro, and I believe that the evidence the prosecution already possesses is sufficient to bring charges against him - stated Roman Giertych on TVP Info.

21:02

Giertych on Ziobro:

I Have a Different Opinion on This Matter Than the Prosecution.

- I have a different opinion on this matter [than the prosecution in the case of Zbigniew Ziobro]. I believe there is sufficient evidence to bring charges in this case. And sometimes lawyers assess the evidentiary material differently, and sometimes it is caused by what we see in the entire process of accountability - stated Roman Giertych on TVP Info.

- We have a problem with the prosecution, and it is no coincidence that PiS replaced almost all important prosecutors over 8 years - he continued.

21:04

Tomczyk on the Presidential Election:

We Must Mobilize Like We Did on October 15th Last Year.

- We are just getting started, meaning we are currently at a stage where we haven't fully stepped into the shoes of those in power, because to complete this entire system, the final step is needed. I generally view these presidential elections as a second round of parliamentary elections, meaning we need to mobilize a second time, just like on October 15th, to win them, because I am convinced that there is a very significant mobilization on the other side – stated Cezary Tomczyk on the program "Trójkąt polityczny" (Political Triangle) on TVP Info.

21:04

Tomczyk on Trzaskowski's Priorities:

The Issues of Small and Medium-Sized Cities are Very Important to Us.

- We will definitely visit either all districts, or almost all, but we also have something, and it will be a surprise we are preparing for Gliwice, I don't want to get ahead of myself, but the issues of small and medium-sized cities are very, very important to us – stated Cezary Tomczyk on TVP Info.

21:04

Image:

They Aren't Particularly Successful." Tomczyk on Nawrocki's "Civic

- The most important thing was that he shouldn't be associated with this government. This is quite sad in general, and I think it is, in a way, for Jarosław Kaczyński too. They aren't even trying to defend the achievements of their 8 years in power. Today, they are only defending themselves, meaning Karol Nawrocki, also known as Nowogrodzki, is a candidate who is supposed to be unassociated with the previous government, unassociated with Czarnek, with Morawiecki, unassociated with PiS. He is supposed to be something entirely new. I believe they aren't particularly successful at that – said Cezary Tomczyk on TVP Info.

21:06

Giertych on Ziobro:

I Personally Wish Him Good Health While in Prison.
We rejoice in good health because health is the most important thing. I believe we all wish Mr. Ziobro, the Member of Parliament, to enjoy long-lasting health. I personally wish for that health to serve him well in prison, because I believe that is where people responsible for what happened with the prosecution and the entire process of siphoning money from the State Treasury's assets should be - stated Roman Giertych on TVP Info.

21:11

Giertych on Mentzen:

I Think He Will Get a Very Good Result.

No, no, I think he will get a very good result [Sławomir Mentzen]. In the first round, both of them [along with Karol Nawrocki] can get a good result, and in the second, it will merge – stated Roman Giertych on TVP Info.

21:14

Giertych:

Had Kaczyński nominated Goska for PiS, he would have reached the second round

- It's Kaczyński's decision. Had Jarosław Kaczyński nominated Mr. Mariusz Goska as PiS's candidate in the presidential elections, Goska would have made it to the second round - stated Roman Giertych on TVP Info.

21:16

Giertych:

Let's Not Underestimate Kaczyński. This Will Be a Difficult Fight
Let's not underestimate Jarosław Kaczyński. He has obviously chosen the best candidate for himself, and this will be a difficult fight. I don't believe any polls that give us a 2:1 advantage. It's impossible; it will be decided at the last moment and will depend on the organization of civil society - stated Roman Giertych on TVP Info.
