The first point on the agenda - the welcome of the head of the Polish government by Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević - will take place at 10:00 AM. Fifteen minutes later, both prime ministers will proceed to a meeting. A meeting of delegations from both countries is scheduled for 10:40 AM.

At 6:00 AM, a ceremony of the official welcome of the Polish presidential couple by the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-yeol and his spouse will take place. After a joint photo, at 6:20 AM, both presidents will proceed to a "narrow-format" meeting. Plenary talks of the delegations, led by both leaders, are scheduled for 6:40 AM, and the meeting will conclude with a joint press statement at 7:40 AM.

At 8:20 AM Polish time, a meeting between President Duda and Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo will take place. At 9:50 AM, the head of state will go to a meeting with representatives of Korean business. The last item scheduled for Thursday is an official dinner hosted by the Korean presidential couple in honor of President Duda and his spouse, at 11:00 AM.

Szymon Hołownia, in turn, is visiting Latvia. At 8:00 AM, an official welcome of the delegation chairs by the Speaker of the Latvian Saeima, Daiga Mieriņa, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, will take place. At 11:00 AM in Piaseczno, a press conference will be held with the participation of the Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar and the Minister of Education Barbara Nowacka, dedicated to the inauguration of the "Citizen's Lens" competition.

Wiącek on Introducing Same-Sex Partnerships:

It is the State's Obligation.
- The European Court of Human Rights has ordered the introduction of legislative solutions to institutionalize same-sex partnerships. And this is the State's obligation, and this obligation should be fulfilled – said Marcin Wiącek in the "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24. - My view is that the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights should be executed, and therefore it is the State's obligation to introduce such a solution. However, its form is determined to a minimal extent by the case law of the European Court of Human Rights, concerning inheritance, social law, or matters related to property and the duty of maintenance – he continued. - On the other hand, the final form is the result of a political decision conditioned by factors over which I have no influence or mandate to comment – he added.

08:05

Siemoniak on Macierewicz:

No one has played a worse role in Polish politics in recent years.
- I believe the public has had enough evidence of Macierewicz's complete disgrace and that of his peculiar group, which, incidentally, has quarrelled amongst itself many times, destroyed evidence, sowed confusion, created tension, and concluded its work with no results, having spent a lot of money - said Tomasz Siemoniak on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1. "Always destruction, always wickedness." Siemoniak on Macierewicz's "real role" - I am eagerly awaiting what Prime Minister Kosiniak and Minister Tomczyk will say, as they have done significant work. The Ministry of National Defence owes this to the public because this matter is exceptionally outrageous. It shows Macierewicz's real role over the last few decades - always destruction, always wickedness, the ruin of people. […] That's why a group of specialists has worked for many months to present this to the public today - he continued. "In recent years, no one has played a worse role in Polish politics" - I cannot assess Antoni Macierewicz's psychology. He loses a lawsuit but claims he won it. […] This is a person who cannot relate to reality in any way. […] I await today's report with the determination that this is not the end of the matter and that Macierewicz must be held fully accountable. In recent years, no one has played a worse role in Polish politics - he assessed.

08:07

Wiącek on the Civil Partnerships Bill:

I See No Provisions Raising Constitutional Doubts.
- When it comes to a first look at this matter [the civil partnerships bill], in my opinion, the solutions proposed there fall within the legislator's discretion; they introduce the minimum requirements set by the European Court of Human Rights, and these minimums [...] also influence the interpretation of Article 18 of the Constitution - said Marcin Wiącek on TVN24. - The Constitution should not be understood in isolation, but also taking into account the state's international obligations. [...] There are also [in this bill] solutions that are not essential from the perspective of the European Court of Human Rights' ruling [...] I do not think it goes too far; I said something else: that they are not essential. However, there is a certain area that falls within the scope of the parliament's political discretion, for example, concerning child custody - he continued. - I see no provisions that would raise constitutional doubts - he added.

08:13

"I feel bound by the Prime Minister's decision appointing Korneluk'. Wiącek on who is the National Prosecutor
- As a spokesperson, I have an obligation to maintain contact in certain matters with the National Prosecutor, and I feel bound by the decision of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers appointing Mr. Dariusz Korneluk to this position, while I acknowledge that this act of appointment was accompanied by certain legal doubts – said Marcin Wiącek on TVN24, when asked who the National Prosecutor is. - As the Ombudsman, I do not have the competence to resolve these legal doubts in a way that would deem this appointment invalid – he continued.

08:20

Siemoniak on the Saboteur Preparing Arson in Wrocław: ABW's Success is Significant Because We're Dealing with a 'Minnow'
- This is precisely why ABW's success is so significant, because we are dealing with a minnow. Not an agent, someone who could have been targeted for certain actions by the services from the outset, but someone who was hired for such a task for a few thousand euros – said Tomasz Siemoniak in "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1, referring to the apprehension of the saboteur Serhiy S., who was preparing arson in Wrocław. - For all the world's intelligence services, these are the worst kind of one-off agents. […] This is exceptionally dangerous, exceptionally difficult for the services, and shows that this method of operation has simply been adopted by Russian services from the beginning of this year, hiring this type of individual. Not only in Poland, by the way; there have been dozens of such cases in Europe – he continued. As he assured: - For the services, this is an absolute priority – we must find the clients, the masterminds. It is unacceptable and constitutes an international crime to commission acts of sabotage on the territory of another state.

08:21

Sawicki:

Expecting us to suddenly fulfill obligations we never made is naive

- Regarding this matter [civil partnerships], the PSL is clear. Neither in parliamentary, local government, nor presidential elections, nor for 30 years in the PSL statutes: these issues have not been included as programmatic. Therefore, expecting us to suddenly fulfill obligations we never made is simply naive - stated Marek Sawicki on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

08:23

Wiącek on the Supreme Court Chamber's resolution:

This is not a ruling that is universally binding and disqualifies the Prime Minister's decision.
- This ruling [concerning Dariusz Barski] is based on certain legal arguments, which, I believe, are not without merit, and indeed, doubts concerning this action relating to Mr. Dariusz Barski do exist. It is difficult, I think, to question this from a substantive point of view - said Marcin Wiącek on TVN24. - However, the resolution of the three Supreme Court judges, issued under the Criminal Procedure Code, is binding solely in the individual, specific case for which it was requested. This is because a common court asked a question to the Supreme Court, and only that common court is bound by the Supreme Court's answer - he continued. - This is not a ruling that has a universally binding character, disqualifying an act of public authority, such as the Prime Minister's decision to appoint the National Prosecutor - he went on to say.

08:28

Sawicki on Civil Partnerships:

Scheuring-Wielgus Probably Has Memory Problems on This Matter.

- As far as my memory serves me, Ms. Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus probably has memory problems on this matter. Because I do not recall this binding statement from Kosiniak-Kamysz. I assure you, I would like to hear the full quote of that statement – stated Marek Sawicki on PR1's "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day).

08:31

Sawicki on Campus:

It would be good for the organizers to consider if everything is alright with patriotic upbringing and tolerance.

- Because I want to state clearly that the youth at Campus are part of a very beautiful undertaking, patriotic and tolerant youth, who applaud and cheer for Minister Kułeba from Ukraine, who compares the Volhynian genocide with Operation Vistula, and at the same time boo Kosiniak-Kamysz, who speaks about issues related to patriotism and patriotic upbringing - stated Marek Sawicki in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- So it would be good for those organizing the event to consider if everything is alright with this patriotic upbringing and tolerance. Because tolerance towards Kułeba and a lack of tolerance towards Kosiniak are placed on one scale, and the leaders of PO listen to all of this and do not react to this youth, which means they do not want to educate the youth - he continued.

08:31

Wiącek:

The Constitutional Tribunal's problem is issuing rulings beyond its jurisdiction, such as interim measures
- One of the problems of the Constitutional Tribunal at the moment is that [...] it issues rulings also in improperly constituted benches, with the participation of individuals not authorized to adjudicate, and also issues rulings beyond its jurisdiction, for example, various so-called interim measures - said Marcin Wiącek on TVN24. - There is no doubt that the Constitutional Tribunal does not have the jurisdiction to issue such rulings - he continued.

08:32

Siemoniak:

Report of the Commission on Russian Influence to be Released by the End of October
- By the end of October, we will learn about the next report of the commission for the examination of Russian influence, which is working under the leadership of Gen. Jarosław Stróżyk. [...] The Prime Minister appointed such a commission precisely to convey certain information to the public in an organized manner, utilizing materials from security services, analytical materials, and the significant work of journalists in recent years. It would be a tremendous naivety to believe that Russia has not been trying to influence the situation in Poland for years - said Tomasz Siemoniak in „Sygnały dnia” on PR1.

08:52

Sawicki:

I Expect Our Leaders to Present a PSL Concept for a Presidential Candidate

- To be honest, I'm not very interested in the KO candidates. From the perspective of the functioning of the state, it's important because they are the leading political party in the polls today. Rather, I want and expect from our leaders, and I will discuss this with them this coming Saturday in Tarnów, a PSL concept for a presidential candidate and our formation's, our peasant movement's, participation in these elections, and that interests me more than whether PO proposes Trzaskowski or Sikorski, or if Tusk suddenly reconciles them both - stated Marek Sawicki in "Signals of the Day" on PR1.

09:42

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Smolensk Subcommittee:

Negative Assessment in All Examined Aspects.

- This report is 790 pages long. This is the report that the esteemed team, presented to me yesterday by Minister Tomczyk, who coordinates work in the ministry, was given to me. Yesterday, I familiarized myself with the final conclusions - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- The general conclusion from this report concerns the functioning of the commission, and the team negatively assesses the work of the Smolensk subcommittee in all examined aspects. Economy, legality, purposefulness, and reliability. In all the goals we set for the team, to investigate most reliably, honestly, and credibly, violations have been indicated in all these criteria - the Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of National Defence continued.

09:46

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

The lies, evil, and hatred that divided Poles did not appear out of nowhere. Someone is responsible.

- The lies, evil, and hatred that have divided Poles did not appear out of nowhere. Someone is responsible, politically, and if their actions have crossed the boundaries of the law, then legally as well. And undoubtedly, the destruction of community and the sowing of chaos, this social division, was caused deliberately. It also lowers, and even often threatens, the security of the Polish state - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

09:49

Kosiniak-Kamysz on Strategic and Political Goals:

Confirmation of the Explosion and Further Building Division.
The true goal of the subcommittee's actions, after analyzing this report, this is how I assess it, was to confirm only one hypothesis about the explosion and to reject all other arguments and expert opinions that did not confirm this hypothesis. So, this goal was strictly defined from the beginning: not to explain the catastrophe, but to confirm one's own hypothesis – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

The strategic goal, in this substantive aspect, was to confirm the explosion, and the political goal was to further build social division and destroy national community, sowing lies and falsehoods. Antoni Macierewicz, because he is responsible here from the very beginning to the end, led this, even before the subcommittee was established, and the subcommittee was to serve the achievement of this goal – he continued to speak.

09:55

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Destruction of Tu-154:

Together Over 81 Million PLN.

- 34 million 500 thousand zlotys, but we must add to that the irreversible damage, the effective irreversible damage, the effective destruction of the TU-154 aircraft with the number 102, whose value was estimated at 47 million zlotys. Together, this amounts to over 81 million zlotys, which the State Treasury incurred for the actions of the Macierewicz commission – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

10:01

Kosiniak-Kamysz Announces Prosecutor Complaints Against the So-Called Macierewicz Commission

- This is, of course, material that will form the basis for filing complaints to the prosecutor's office, and such complaints are being prepared against all those who bear responsibility, both in the execution and operation of the commission, as well as in the lack of supervision over this commission - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

10:33

Tomczyk on the Composition of the So-Called Smolensk Subcommittee:

Musicologist, Acoustician, Psychologist
- The members of the subcommittee were: a musicologist, an acoustician, a psychologist, and [...] Antoni Macierewicz, who by education is a historian, and his master's thesis concerns the Incas. None of these specializations [...] are included in aviation law as requirements for working in a commission investigating state aviation accidents - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press conference.

10:43

Tomczyk:

5 Parts of the Smolensk Tu-154 Destroyed, 19 Lost
- As of the subcommittee's status, in accordance with the order to provide investigation materials, evidence has been sent from the prosecutor's office since 2016. Evidence, meaning parts of the Tu-154, the one that crashed near Smolensk, and the Tu-154 whose remains are still, in fact, in Minsk Mazowiecki today. The documents were deposited in sealed envelopes [...] they were accepted without any protocol - said Cezary Tomczyk at a press conference. - 5 elements of parts from the Smolensk Tu-154 were destroyed, and 19 of these elements were irretrievably lost. Minister Macierewicz [...] says it is untrue, that no evidence was lost, no evidence was destroyed. [...] This is a letter from Antoni Macierewicz to Prosecutor General Krzysztof Urbaniak dated December 6, 2023 [...] Macierewicz admits that he not only lost evidence, but also accuses Glenn Jorgensen [...] that he is in possession of the evidentiary materials - he continued.

10:47

Tomczyk on Macierewicz Losing Evidence:

Any Normal Person Would Have a Prosecutor at Home Then.
- Antoni Macierewicz, according to the prosecution, directly obstructed the investigation because he obtained evidence from the prosecution and had no intention of returning it, or he lost it, or it was destroyed during the subcommittee's research - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press conference. - Antoni Macierewicz said that [...] insignificant, 5-centimeter elements were lost. In my opinion, all these elements are very significant because they are simply evidence from the prosecution. Any normal person would have a prosecutor at their home the very next day, when they lost evidence or refused to return it - he continued.

11:19

41 Criminal Complaints Filed Over Smolensk Subcommittee's Activities; Macierewicz, Błaszczak, and Misiewicz on the List
- As the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence [...] we have decided to file 41 criminal complaints with the prosecutor's office concerning the activities of Antoni Macierewicz's subcommittee - said Cezary Tomczyk at a press conference. - 24 of these complaints concern the former chairman of the subcommittee, Antoni Macierewicz, and relate to exceeding authority for personal gain, failure to perform duties, exceeding authority, acting contrary to the provisions of the Public Procurement Law, Public Finance Law, and the Protection of Classified Information Act, certifying falsehoods in documents, lack of proper supervision, failure to comply with court orders, allowing third parties to participate in the subcommittee's work [...], altering documents, and bribery - he continued. - 10 of these complaints concern the former Minister of National Defence, Mr. Mariusz Błaszczak, and relate to failure to perform duties and exceeding authority, aiding in the destruction of the aircraft, we are talking here about the Tupolev with tail number 102, lack of supervision, violation of the Public Procurement Law and Public Finance Law, as well as exceeding authority and failure to perform duties - he further stated. - Other complaints concern Mr. Bartłomiej Misiewicz, Mr. Berczyński, Mr. Nowaczyk, Mr. Jorgensen, and other members of the subcommittee - he added.

11:24

Tomczyk:

Misiewicz Copied Top Secret Documents, and We Still Don't Know Where They Are
- Mr. Misiewicz, this is a shocking piece of information entirely [...] after receiving clearance to top-secret information, he photocopied top-secret and secret documents on a publicly accessible copier at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters, and to this day it is unknown where these documents are, because these copies were not verified in any way - said Cezary Tomczyk at a press conference.

As the Far-Right Grows Stronger, It's Time to Focus on Fighting for Issues: 5 Razem MPs Leave the Party

Members of Parliament Magda Biejat, Daria Gosiek-Popiołek, Dorota Olko, and Joanna Wicha, Senator Anna Górska, along with a number of local Razem party activists, are leaving the party today. As Robert Biedroń wrote on social media, "this is a very good decision for Poland and the Polish Left!". - I can't wait for our continued cooperation for you! - the MEP emphasized.

- Within the Razem party, we fundamentally differed on our vision of how we want to operate in politics. We believe that everything must be done to change the reality around us here and now. Not in a year, not in two, not in the next term - but today. We believe our task is to solve concrete issues. That as politicians, we have a duty not to limit ourselves to criticism, but simply to act - the parliamentarians wrote in a statement.

"We do not want to get bogged down in looking for further excuses for Razem to leave the Left parliamentary club. As the far-right grows stronger, it's time to focus on fighting for issues. We are moving forward and together with other left-wing groupings, we will fight for everything we spoke about just over a year ago during the election campaign. We want to seriously build the cooperation in the parliamentary club that we promised after the elections.

The last two weeks have shown that the Left, within a governing coalition far from our dreams, can have its own voice. We believe it is our responsibility to strengthen this voice. The stronger the Left parliamentary club, the stronger the Left in government. Our goal is clear – to implement as many of our demands as possible during this term."

Everything indicates that over the weekend, the Razem Party will formally leave The Left, which will mean a loss of 4 MPs for the coalition (Adrian Zandberg, Marcelina Zawisza, Maciej Konieczny, and Marta Stożek).

13:17

Tusk on Serbia, Poland, and the EU:

We Have Common Interests.
- I wanted to express genuine, sincere appreciation for Serbia's great effort in providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk after meeting with the President of Serbia. - We understand each other well, and we understand well why we have different views on relations with Russia. But I appreciate our mutual understanding even more when it comes to issues like humanitarian aid for Ukraine, and the fact that we can talk about the situation on Poland's eastern border, about Belarus, about Russia, even with sometimes different positions, but with mutual respect and understanding - he continued. - For me, Serbia's stance, after our long, very open conversation, is more understandable, but I am also convinced that our conversation opens up a much broader perspective regarding cooperation between the entire European Union and Serbia, between Poland and Serbia, but it will also foster, here without any pressure of course [...] an increasingly unified foreign policy. We have common interests, Serbia, Poland, the European Union - he continued. "EU Enlargement Must Include Serbia" - There is no reason for any conflicts or unsolvable disputes to arise. I am speaking very seriously about the European perspective for the Balkan states that are interested in the European perspective [...] The enlargement of the European Union must include Serbia, because there is no complete European Union without Serbia - he added.

13:24

Tusk:

Poland is one of the key leaders across Europe
- We also discussed many areas of our potential cooperation in economy, science, and defense industry between Serbia and Poland. Poland, and I say this without any complexes, with full conviction, Poland is today one of the key leaders across Europe. Today, Polish politics plays a key role in shaping the entire European policy, including in the dimension of defense and security – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk after meeting with the President of Serbia. - I would very much like Poland and Serbia to form a very well-coordinated, well-matched duo here – he continued.

15:21

Razem Responds to Parliamentarians' Departures:

The Strategic Reserve of Polish Democracy.
"Today, 27 people have left the party. Nearly three thousand members remain, who still believe that the program we promised voters is more important than positions and personal careers," the Razem party announced in a statement. "Razem is the strategic reserve of Polish democracy. We will not allow the only critical voice towards the Tusk government to be that of the far-right. This is a direct path to PiS and Konfederacja returning to power after the next elections. Tusk's government, with its anti-social actions, is failing successive groups of voters. Poland needs a democratic opposition, defending the common good, social justice, and human rights. This weekend, the Razem Congress will take place, where we will decide on the future of the party. After this event, together with the party structures across Poland, Razem local government officials, and friendly organizations and social movements, we will continue to build an independent and courageous social left. Together, we are stronger – as workers, citizens, society. We encourage everyone who holds these values dear: join Razem!"

15:24

Changes to the Health Contribution: Government Decision to Accept

- Income from the sale of fixed assets will not be included in the basis for calculating the health contribution for entrepreneurs. The draft bill was accepted today, after a long discussion, by the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers, and the draft will soon be sent to a government session - informed Maciej Berek on social media.

- Yes, this is far less than the declared and needed changes to the health contribution. We are still discussing with ministers how to clean up after the Polish (Dis)Order and support entrepreneurs. Finding a solution is not easy, but we must find it - wrote the head of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers on X.

16:42

Kukiz on the Governing Coalition Candidate's Victory:

This Will Be Hardcore, a Dictatorship of 1/3 of Citizens.

- It will be a drama for Poland if the presidential elections are won by a person associated with the current ruling team. I have no doubt about it. It will be several times more hardcore than during the times of the president, as some call it, PiS-era and PiS's rule. This [hardcore will consist of] the fact that it will already be a dictatorship of one-third of citizens over 70% – stated Paweł Kukiz on Telewizja Echo24.

16:43

Kukiz Announces Class-Action Lawsuit Against Polish Waters

- Currently, I am participating in, and to a large extent was a supporter and co-organizer of, a group that will file a class-action lawsuit against Polish Waters. This lawsuit is largely due to the fact that, in my opinion as a participant in the special commission for combating flood consequences, the act certainly does not exhaust even one-third of the claims that people may have – said Paweł Kukiz on Telewizja Echo24.

16:44

Kukiz on the Activities of His Wolni Republikanie Circle:

I Want to Focus on Educating the Poor Ignorance.
I want to focus solely and exclusively on matters of systemic change and the education of this poor, I'm sorry to say, Polish ignorance, which currently constitutes a vast segment of society. Similar to the interwar period. When it comes to the concept of the system, the political system, it is ignorance, sir – stated Paweł Kukiz on Telewizja Echo24. Just as I am ignorant when it comes to, for example, nuclear physics, I have no idea about it. Consequently, I am ignorant in this area. Similarly, in Poland, the vast majority of Poles are ignorant when it comes to the concept and understanding of legal systems – he continued. I want to focus only on educational activities and consolidating those individuals who, like me, are convinced, have the certainty, that without these changes, we will be heading towards the end of the 18th century, that is, towards the abyss of partitions – stated the politician. Marek Jakubiak, Jarek Sachajko, Krzysztof Ardanowski are substantive people who talk to each other about matters such as the economy, meaning agriculture, entrepreneurship. These are things that are secondary to me, but primary to them – added Kukiz.

16:45

"Crime and Punishment." Tusk on Macierewicz, who "unleashed a political civil war on Kaczyński's orders"

- 24 requests to the prosecutor's office. This is how the architect of the Smolensk hell, a provocateur, and a habitual liar, Antoni Macierewicz, ends up - Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on social media.

- It was he, on Jarosław Kaczyński's orders, who unleashed the political civil war that engulfed the entire country for many years. Crime and punishment - he emphasized.

17:22

Nitras:

Tusk Took an Important and Great Step for a Good Cause in Belgrade Today

Today, Donald Tusk took an important and great step for a good cause in Belgrade. For Serbia and for Europe – wrote Minister Sławomir Nitras on social media.

17:29

Siemoniak:

The Polish-Belarusian Border is a Topic in Every Conversation I Have with Americans, Germans, and Britons

- We have information, we use what our special services inform us about. We have information that comes from, for instance, the Border Guard, the police; these hundreds of apprehended couriers, who have also been arrested, are being interrogated, they provide various information, and thanks to our allies we also have very diverse information. This topic of the Polish-Belarusian border is a subject of every conversation I have, whether with Americans, Germans, or Britons - stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TOK FM.

18:32

Sikorski:

It's Good That Both Trump and Harris are Competing for Polish-American Votes
- What is good about the current campaign is that both sides in the United States are competing for Polish votes, both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. This is very good. We have hundreds of thousands of our compatriots in these key states: Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan, and these elections will be decided there, and they could be decided by tens of thousands of votes - said Radosław Sikorski during a meeting in Katowice.

18:42

Sikorski on the Civic Coalition Candidate:

The One with the Highest Possible Chance in the Second Round.
- We need a candidate who has the highest possible chance in the second round. Because a first-round victory is unlikely, we need to get to the second round and then win over the votes of supporters of other parties - said Radosław Sikorski during a meeting in Katowice. - We will be examining this before announcing the decision. The candidate should be the one with the best chance - he concluded.

18:51

Sikorski:

I Would Like a President Respected in the World
- I would like a president who is respected in the world. Someone whose words carry weight when speaking on behalf of Poland. Someone who, in these turbulent times, would be strong in the area of security. And someone who would cooperate with the government, unlike what we have now. Above all, someone who would win – said Radosław Sikorski during a meeting in Katowice.

18:55

Sikorski:

Our Entrepreneurs Will Be the Biggest Beneficiaries of Ukraine's Potential Integration
- Just as our truck drivers dominated the European market, particularly concerning transport routes to the East, because they weren't afraid to drive to the former Soviet Union – so I believe that our entrepreneurs will also be those who benefit the most from Ukraine's potential success and integration. We know Ukraine better, we have proximity, and now, with millions of Ukrainians traveling back and forth. This will be a great economic opportunity for us as well – said Radosław Sikorski during a meeting in Katowice.

19:16

Sikorski:

Russian disinformation isn't about loving Russia. It's enough for us to hate our neighbours, the EU, and each other
- I believe we are not immune [to Russian disinformation]. In fact, I think we have a very strange phenomenon in Poland. Because we are generally putino-skeptical, we believe that Russian disinformation doesn't affect us. However, Russian disinformation isn't about making us love Russia; they don't expect that. It's enough for them if we hate our neighbours, the European Union, and each other. That's enough for them - said Radosław Sikorski during a meeting in Katowice.

19:23

Sikorski on Russia's Response to His Decision:

They'll Probably Close Our Consulate Too, or Worse.
- Knowing that system and seeing what comrade Zakharova is saying, but also comrade former president Medvedev, they will probably close our consulate too, or worse. I assure you that in considering this decision [to close the Russian consulate in Poznań], we have factored in such possibilities - said Radosław Sikorski during a meeting in Katowice.

19:42

What's Next for EU Climate Policy? Pełczyńska-Nałęcz: We Need a Revision

- This European policy, where we set incredibly high climate goals for ourselves, while simultaneously being unable to control competition and stifling our own development, simply has to change. It cannot continue this way, and I think Germany will soon come to the same conclusion – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on RMF FM.

- In my opinion, as the [ETS2] regulation is currently planned, it must be changed, postponed, or have a completely different price corridor, limited from above rather than more favorable from below. This policy must be changed, adapted to our current realities where we must compete globally, ensure our development, and prioritize our security – she continued.

19:43

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Sustaining Polish Economic Growth:

We Need Safe, Legal Migration.

- Migration policy today must operate within a triangle. The first element, and this is indisputable, is security. This means we must have control over who enters Poland for many reasons. Firstly, because society wants it, and this is understandable. Secondly, because we still face ongoing Russian subversive activities and hybrid aggression from Belarus. The second element is humanity, because these are our values. But there is a third element, and that is development. Thus, we must build security in such a way that it does not kill development, and for development, we need safe, controlled, and beneficial legal migration for our entrepreneurs – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on RMF FM.

19:44

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Poland's Economic Growth:

We Stand Out Positively Against the EU Backdrop.

- We have economic growth at a really good level in Poland and we are positively distinguishing ourselves against the backdrop of the European Union. Not everything is bleak, and Poland has good development prospects, but at the same time, we cannot abstract from the fact that we are part of the world, part of the European Union, and here the German economy undeniably has problems, and the Polish economy, Polish exports, are very closely linked to Germany – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on RMF FM.

Kamiński:

Undermining the Polish-Ukrainian Alliance is a Goal of Russian Policy
- It has always been the case in history that if Ukraine, Lithuania, or Belarus lost their independence, Poland sooner or later lost its own, and it is no coincidence that every Russian agent caught by Poland today, if found by our services with such a manual, as the Russians call it, what they are supposed to say, the FSB manual is like this: Poles lose out on cooperation with Ukraine, we don't need this war, it's not our war, it's the West's war, not Poland's - said Michał Kamiński in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Lepsza Polska" on Polsat News. - We can so easily distinguish Russian agents, who in Poland speaks and attacks the previous government and attacks the current government with Putin's language, because today undermining the Polish-Ukrainian alliance is absolutely a goal of Russian policy - he continued.

Kamiński on Efforts to Shift the Western Border:

We Must Be As Smart As the Germans Were.
- The Germans were interested in keeping the Polish market tied to them and for the NATO border not to be on the Oder and Neisse, but to be shifted further. This is precisely why we must be as smart as the Germans were, and it is in our interest to shift the Western border as far away from us as possible. That is our interest - said Michał Kamiński on Polsat News.

Kamiński:

It is the sacred duty of Polish politicians to prevent war
- Next year, Poland's defense budget will be the 13th largest in the world. [...] In no other area does Poland spend the 13th largest budget globally, not in science, healthcare, etc. - stated Michał Kamiński on Polsat News. - We are building this strong army and spending such amounts on national defense solely for the purpose of preventing war. Because it is the sacred duty of Polish politicians to prevent war - he continued.

Czarnek:

I'm a Supporter of Primaries within PiS
- I don't know [if there will be primaries in PiS]. We are waiting for that decision. This discussion about primaries has been going on for a long time, perhaps even a bit too long. I was and remain a supporter of primaries, because it also revitalizes the party structures […], it would be beneficial if they could discuss and vote on the PiS candidate for presidential elections - said Przemysław Czarnek on TV Republika.

PiS Candidate Not in November After All? Czarnek: It Was Just a Suggestion
- We never announced, as PO did, that they would announce their candidate in Silesia on December 7. We did not announce that we would do it on November 9, 10, or 11. We suggested that autumn, and specifically around Independence Day, as was the case in 2014 […], is a good time to present our candidate - said Przemysław Czarnek on TV Republika. He emphasized, however: - But that was only a suggestion, it was never decided. We are patiently waiting for what the PiS leadership agrees on.

Czarnek on Rumors About His Candidacy:

I Am Functioning Calmly and Performing My Daily Duties.
- For the past few months, I was second only to God, taking over the party, growing in strength. Now I am reportedly the leader or favorite in this race for the PiS nomination in the presidential elections. I am very happy, I thank all the writers, authors, journalists [...] for noticing me. And I am functioning calmly and performing my daily duties - said Przemysław Czarnek on TV Republika.

Czarnek:

For a Right-Wing Candidate's Victory, Mobilization from the Center to the Far-Right is Crucial
- For the victory of a right-wing candidate - whoever they may be and whoever the PiS leadership chooses - it is not important who runs from PO. For the victory of a right-wing candidate, the mobilization of centrist, right-wing environments, from the center to the very far-right, including movements and organizations considered far-right, is important. Because this is the key to winning the presidential election - said Przemysław Czarnek on TV Republika.
