At 1:00 PM, a press briefing will take place in Warsaw with Ryszard Petru, MP for Poland 2050 and chairman of the Committee on Economy and Development. The briefing will focus on interpellation No. 5561 submitted by the MP concerning noise level exceedances and related indignities in the vicinity of the S2 route in Warsaw.

"Comments are unequivocal: Poland was missing from this table." Szłapka on Friday's meeting regarding Ukraine
- The comments are quite common that the organizers, in this case Chancellor Scholz, simply made a mistake because Poland wasn't there, no one from the region was there – said Adam Szłapka in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24, when asked why Poland did not participate in Friday's meeting of the leaders of the USA, Great Britain, France, and Germany on the topic of Ukraine.

- In this situation, it's hard for me to imagine [...] I think it's more of a mess, more of a lack of thought. The comments are unequivocal: Poland was missing from this table, even German comments, it seems to me that German comments are the loudest – he continued, when asked if Poland's and Germany's interests are so divergent that Scholz might not have wanted Poland to participate in the meeting.

08:06

Szłapka:

It must be common knowledge that you cannot get to Europe this way
- I believe that the situation has changed diametrically in recent years in Europe. [...] This is not a natural migratory movement, which we are dealing with in Europe. This is like part of a hybrid war. And in this specific case, people are treated as mercenaries, as soldiers, as ammunition by the criminal regimes of Lukashenka and Putin. And in this situation, we must particularly counteract this - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24, when asked about the suspension of the right to asylum. - It [the border] must also be very secure and very safe. It is known that illegal migration must be fought, that we must stop the influx into Europe, that there must be control over it, because as Europe, we are simply unable to accept all those who want to - he continued. - So that these people do not die, there must be common knowledge, both in Europe, in the countries that are the source of origin for the migrants, but also in the regimes of Lukashenka and Putin, that you simply cannot get to Europe this way - he added.

08:11

Szłapka:

If European values are abused and meant to signify our weakness, we cannot agree to that
- Especially if we are aware that [...] European values are being abused and are meant to signify our weakness, then we cannot agree to that. The Geneva Convention of '51 was created during the peak tensions of the Cold War, directly after World War II, when the entire Western world was concerned with helping people who managed to escape the Eastern Bloc - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24. - Today the situation is completely different; today the situation is such that Putin and Lukashenko are using these formal and legal issues to introduce destabilization - he continued.

08:20

Szłapka:

The President Didn't Understand. The Migration Strategy Doesn't Concern Belarusian Oppositionists
- I heard the President's statement and was very surprised by this issue regarding migration, because it seems to me that the President simply didn't understand what it was about. [...] I think the President should know, if not, then I think Jacek Siewiera should explain it to him. We are dealing with illegal migration and we are dealing with a hybrid war, and the President referred to the issue of the Belarusian opposition, so if anyone should know, the President should know that we are dealing with a dictatorship - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24, when asked about the President's objection to the migration strategy. - Not a mouse can squeak there without Lukashenko's regime's consent, meaning if Belarusian oppositionists flee to Poland, they don't flee across the green border [...] or they leave normally and then the authorities turn a blind eye and then they leave, let's say by train through Terespol, or they do as it usually was, for example, they go to Kyiv [...] or through another third country - he continued. - This issue does not concern Belarusian oppositionists, this issue concerns us having full control over the border - he added.

08:22

Gliński on PiS Primaries:

The Decision Has Not Yet Been Made.

- In a democracy like Poland, which is still being formed, and which is currently being destroyed by the current government, it is very difficult to say whether it is a good or bad solution. It really depends on the circumstances, the specifics of the political party. For us too, the decision has not yet been made - stated Piotr Gliński in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

08:25

Szłapka:

I have no illusions that the President will behave very responsibly during these final 289 days
- There are many presidential actions that I consider to be simply harmful, and I no longer have any illusions that the President will behave very responsibly during these final 289 days - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24.

08:27

Gliński:

There were many candidates, this group has shrunk
We don't know anything. I'm talking about what the public knows. It knows little, it knows that there are many candidates or there were many candidates, and this group has shrunk. That's all we can say - stated Piotr Gliński on Radio Zet. - The answer is very simple [to Piotr Duda's words] and Piotr Duda also knows this. The moment there is this candidate or we have a clear situation, we will talk with various political circles about supporting this candidate - he continued.

08:32

Szłapka on the Civil Partnerships Bill:

It Hasn't Appeared Before the Government Session Yet and Hasn't Been Accepted by the Entire Government.
- This bill has been initiated in the government procedure - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24, when asked about the civil partnerships bill. - That is to say, it hasn't appeared before the government session yet and hasn't been accepted by the entire government - he continued. - I think there will still be inter-ministerial agreements and discussions on this matter. I support this bill. I would have to ask Minister Kotula what stage her talks with the ministers from PSL and with PSL are at, to know what stage these agreements are in - he went on to say. - This bill is a compromise project, meaning it is one that meets PSL halfway on many issues - he added.

08:37

Gliński Responds to Duda:

We Do Not Interfere in Matters Pertaining to the Trade Union.
We do not interfere in matters concerning the Solidarity trade union, Mr. President [Duda]. Similarly, it seems that basic respect requires us not to point to a political party in this regard. We have good relations, we are not interested in any differences, and we will certainly consult on such matters, but at the appropriate time – stated Piotr Gliński on Radio Zet.

08:42

Morawiecki on Leszczyna, the Ministry of Health, and the NFZ Situation:

This Ministry Hasn't Seen Such an Incompetent Person in a Long Time.
- The new government and Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna are failing to secure funds for healthcare financing. The National Health Fund's budget, as we are learning, is already running empty. This ministry hasn't seen such an incompetent person in a long time. Therefore, it's no surprise that financial difficulties have emerged so quickly - said Mateusz Morawiecki in a recording published on social media. - This is a 180-degree turn from the policy of my government, which led to a record increase in healthcare spending. Thanks to this, among other things, many, many investments were realized, access to modern medicines improved, and in some specializations, queues to doctors were shortened. The current government clearly has different priorities, and the effects of this policy are unfortunately visible in the increasing number of alarming signals coming from hospitals across Poland - he continued.

08:46

Gliński:

The Current Polish Prime Minister is the Prime Minister of an External Party and External Interests

- Donald Tusk was not invited because the current Polish Prime Minister is the Prime Minister of an external party and external interests. Since Scholz is already there, he is the representative of Poland. Unfortunately, this is what Polish foreign policy looks like at the moment - stated Piotr Gliński on Radio Zet.

08:49

Gliński:

Of Course We Are Being Outmaneuvered, Unfortunately Also with Ukraine's Involvement

- Of course we are being outmaneuvered, unfortunately also with Ukraine's involvement, but above all, German and European interests are being pursued, Polish interests are not being pursued - stated Piotr Gliński on Radio Zet.

08:50

Leszczyna:

'A Hole in the NFZ Budget'? That's Scaring Patients. Patients are Safe
- I don't like this term 'hole in the budget' [of the National Health Fund - NFZ] because we are scaring patients. Patients in Poland are safe. Drug programs will be paid for, all procedures that, if not performed, could cause serious health damage or loss of life, are and will be paid for – said Izabela Leszczyna in an interview with Aleksandra Pawlicka on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka".

08:58

Gliński Questioned on the Civil Partnerships Act:

This Contradicts the Polish Constitution.

- I don't think so. I don't know this act, but I don't think so. After all, it contradicts the Polish constitution primarily. Civil partnerships, because the Constitution, I believe in Article 18, speaks clearly about the issues of marriage, which civil partnerships concern - stated Piotr Gliński on Radio Zet.

08:59

Leszczyna:

We Had to Add PLN 21 Billion to the National Health Fund. PiS Failed to Secure the Healthcare System for This Year
- Indeed, it is true that this year we have already had to add 21 billion zlotys to the National Health Fund's financial plan for the financing of benefits. What does this mean? It means, unfortunately, that my predecessors, the PiS government, did not secure the healthcare system for the year 2024 - said Izabela Leszczyna on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka". As she explained: - They did not secure it because they did several very bad things. One of them was that certain services, previously financed from the budget, such as all of emergency medical services, medicines for seniors, highly specialized procedures, or treatment for uninsured individuals, were always financed from the budget. This amounts to over a dozen billion zlotys. PiS [...] shifted the financing onto the insured, meaning to the National Health Fund.

09:16

Leszczyna Points to Area Where "NFZ Funds Are Insufficient"
- Regarding MS or SMA, as these have also surfaced, I am refuting these rumors. All these neurological, very serious diseases, which we must treat firstly systematically, and secondly, as quickly as possible after diagnosis, are being treated. There are entirely separate funds for children with SMA, and they are all under care. Patients with MS also have paid drug programs. [...] Funds must be found for this - stated Izabela Leszczyna in "Gość Poranka" on TVP Info. - However, the fact is - there will naturally be insufficient funds in the National Health Fund (NFZ) for all these excellent, modern technologies, fantastic oncological, neurological, and cardiological drugs - she admitted. - What does this mean for me as the Minister of Health? [...] I must manage the resources we have - because there is no social consent for raising contributions, quite the opposite - and manage human capital [...] and simultaneously finances, so that, for example, two hospitals that are 20-30 km apart do not compete for the same surgeon or gynecologist. [...] We need to rationalize this network of hospitals so as to ensure the actual health needs of residents, but so that hospitals do not fight over the same doctor - she indicated.

09:26

When Will Agreement Be Reached on the Health Contribution? Leszczyna: That's a Question More for Kosiniak-Kamysz Than for Me
- Every idea that leads to healthcare financing being solidarity-based, fair, and evenly distributed among all citizens is absolutely important and necessary for me as the Minister of Health. However, these are decisions [...] that must be made with coalition agreement, because the contribution itself means we still lack that consensus - said Izabela Leszczyna on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka". Asked if and when there is a chance for agreement on this matter, she replied: - I think that's a question more for Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz than for me.

09:27

Gliński:

The Political Timing Will Be Such That We Will Have to Present Our Candidate First

- As far as we know, the political timing will be such, we would probably prefer it the other way around, that we will have to present our candidate [for president] first, because the current coalition is probably waiting for us to do so - stated Piotr Gliński on Radio Zet.

09:29

Tyszka Comments on the Berlin Meeting on Ukraine:

I Accuse Tusk and Kaczyński of Extreme, Anti-Polish Naivety.

- Investing so much in the relationship with Ukraine without concrete benefits [was worthless], let alone the fact that we cannot even exhume the victims of Ukrainian crimes in Volhynia there and we are only paying, paying for two years. We gave away our tanks, we gave away our planes, we accepted unlimited, unbounded emigrants from Ukraine. PiS and PO, hand in hand, have privileged these people over Polish citizens – stated Stanisław Tyszka in the program "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- I am talking about privileges such as 500+, 800+, free housing, 2% loans, and when push comes to shove, all these years of handshakes between POPiS politicians and Ukrainian politicians turn out to be worthless. I accuse both Kaczyński and Tusk of extreme, even anti-Polish naivety – he continued.

09:30

Tyszka on Suspending the Right to Asylum:

It's a smokescreen by Tusk.

- The debate on this migration strategy is just beginning here; the government has published a document that, in my opinion, is not such a strategy. This is because it does not address, among other issues, the problems that Konfederacja is raising, namely, first of all: do we want to pay social assistance for immigrants out of our own pockets? – Stanisław Tyszka said on Polsat News.

- Konfederacja is the only party saying no. PiS, PO, PSL, Lewica – they all voted yes. And secondly, in serious countries such as Australia, Canada, and European states, such a strategy, as I have read, always indicates from which directions we agree to accept immigrants and from which professional specializations – he continued.

- This is a smokescreen by Donald Tusk [suspending the right to asylum]. Donald Tusk compromised himself three years ago, talking about the hybrid war on the Polish-Belarusian border, saying that there were young people there looking for their place in the world. Meanwhile, from the beginning, all European services knew that it was a hybrid war – he added.

09:30

Tyszka praises AfD:

This is the most pro-Polish party in Germany.

No, I believe this is the party, among German parties, that is the most pro-Polish, in the sense that it fights against this migratory threat, we agree on that. It fights against the Green Deal, we completely agree on that, and it was finally a party that intervened multiple times in the previous term in defense of Poland at a time when Ursula von der Leyen and the European Commission were interfering in Poland's internal affairs – stated Stanisław Tyszka on Polsat News.

09:30

Tyszka:

In Duda's place, I would support Mentzen
When you look at this analysis, it turns out that the only person who can win against the Civic Platform candidate in the second round is – attention – Sławomir Mentzen. It's true, one has to get into the second round, that's the challenge. I wouldn't dare to advise President Duda on anything, but in his place, I would support Sławomir Mentzen – stated Stanisław Tyszka on Polsat News.

09:31

Tyszka on Investigative Committees and Accountability: 'Tusk Wants to Avoid Serious Issues'

- It's not about accountability. Tusk and the ruling coalition are not interested in catching the rabbit. I am in favour of imprisoning the PiS thieves, because I am convinced that they have been stealing Poles' money for many years. However, the goal is to chase the rabbit, to keep rehashing these topics, and to avoid discussing serious matters – Stanisław Tyszka stated on Polsat News.

10:33

Bejda Fails to Appear Before Pegasus Commission Again, Compulsory Attendance Sought
Ernest Bejda, former head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau, has once again failed to appear before the parliamentary committee investigating Pegasus. The committee voted to request the Warsaw District Court to impose a fine and order the compulsory attendance of the witness, with a majority of 5 votes in favor and 1 abstention. The committee's chairwoman, Magdalena Sroka, stated that 'this is an unfair game' and attributed his non-appearance to 'fear of questions and confronting public opinion'.

11:25

Brejza:

The 2019 Elections Were Conducted by the Special Services

- What happened in the 2019 elections was the conducting of these elections by the special services. The special services were taken over by PiS people, but it was part of a broader context of a closed circle's activities and the confinement of the Republic of Poland into a para-authoritarian state – stated Krzysztof Brejza during his hearing before the Pegasus committee.

- The structures of the state, the institutions, were being degenerated by groups of people at various levels of the power apparatus, who transferred their baseness, their immorality, onto the state – he continued.

11:25

"Kaczyński's Personal Dislike for Me': Brejza on the Reasons for Pegasus Use Against Him

- What were the reasons for this Pegasus operation? For this cyberweapon to be used specifically against me. I was a person who, during that period, exposed a series of scandals involving the PiS government, for instance, the notorious scandal of illegal bonuses in the PiS government, which led to a 10.12 percentage point drop in the party's support within a month – Krzysztof Brejza said during his testimony before the Pegasus Committee.

- The second vector was Jarosław Kaczyński's personal dislike for me, because on one hand, I questioned and exposed his alleged anti-communism. On the other hand, I revealed how his circle, through his decisions, had enriched itself at the expense of national assets - the Civic Coalition MEP continued.

12:10

Błaszczak:

Implementing the Migration Pact Means Disaster for Poland
- In Poland, Donald Tusk presents himself as a defender of Polish borders, as an opponent of migration, yet in the European Union, he behaves very meekly. On October 17th of this year, the EPP [...] declared that it would [...] accelerate the implementation of the migration pact - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference. - Donald Tusk plays the role of a scapegoat in the European Union, because he did not oppose, firstly, the implementation of the migration pact itself, and secondly, the acceleration of its implementation. His close and trusted associate, Andrzej Halicki, is among the leaders of the European People's Party, and [...] the European People's Party has firmly spoken out in favor of accelerating the implementation of the migration pact - he continued. - The implementation of the migration pact means disaster for Poland, it means a threat to the security of Poles, both personal and economic - he went on to say.

12:17

Błaszczak:

If Tusk Wants to Suspend Something, It Would Be Good If He Suspended the EU's Dublin III Regulation
- The problem is not asylum in our country, but migration, the migration pact is the problem. And if Donald Tusk feels like suspending something, it would be good if he caused the suspension of the EU's Dublin III regulation, which deals with readmission, because, as the media reports, 40,000 migrants are to be transferred from Germany to Poland - Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

12:24

Błaszczak:

Tusk Eliminated from Discussions on Ukraine's Future
- The government of the December 13 coalition, Donald Tusk has been eliminated from discussions on Ukraine's future, why? Because he doesn't want to or cannot actively participate in these discussions. It is very characteristic that last week in Germany, at the talks between the President of the United States and the President of France, the Chancellor of Germany, and the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Tusk was not present - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference. - Former President of Estonia, Ilves, stated that Tusk's presence was blocked by Scholz. Concurrently, a meeting of the defense ministers of the United States, France, Great Britain, and Germany was taking place, and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz was not there - he continued. "Poland Has Lost Its Role as a Key Player" - This indicates that Poland has lost the position it previously held under the Law and Justice government, the position of a key player in the European Union, or one could say in this format, which is already broader than the European Union, because without Polish support, Ukraine would not have defended itself, especially [...] in the initial months - he went on to say.

12:28

Błaszczak:

Poland Has Become a Subcontractor of German Foreign Policy
- Today, Poland has become a subcontractor of German foreign policy, and this is very dangerous for our future - stated Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

13:00

Tusk on Moldova's Elections:

Infuriate Moscow, Impress Europe.

- Infuriate Moscow, impress Europe, save her country once again - that's Maia Sandu - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on social media, commenting on the presidential elections in Moldova.

13:32

PiS Releases Video on Healthcare Situation:

NFZ on the Brink of Bankruptcy.

PiS has released a video recalling Izabela Leszczyna's statements about "problems disappearing as if by magic" and PO's election campaign promises, such as abolishing NFZ limits in hospital healthcare.

- What did we get in return? More lies and the collapse of the healthcare system. NFZ is on the brink of bankruptcy. There isn't enough money for overperformances, drug programs, or even IV drips - says the narrator.

19:44

Abolition or Reduction of 800+? Domański's Unequivocal Answer
- No - said Andrzej Domański in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the "Gość Wydarzeń" program on Polsat News, when asked if the government would abolish the 800+ program. - There are no plans regarding changes to 800+, the opposition is incapable of anything other than scaring people. They scared that there would be no 13th pension, but there is; they scared that there would be no 14th pension, but there is; now they are scaring that there will be no 800+ - he continued. - I can declare that until the end of the Sejm's term, the 800+ program will not be abolished, absolutely. [...] There is no discussion about changes to the 800+ program, let alone its abolition - he added.

19:50

Domański on Healthcare Funding:

We Will Allocate Additional Funds
- In next year's budget, we have secured 221 billion zloty for healthcare. This is an increase of 30 billion zloty compared to 2024, so it is clearly visible that, in accordance with the Healthcare Act, these expenditures are growing year by year and will continue to grow - said Andrzej Domański in Polsat News.

- Also this year, we will allocate additional funds to support the National Health Fund (NFZ). I am in contact with Minister Leszczyna to ensure that the necessary funds for the functioning of the system are simply provided - he continued.

- The discussion about the size of this amount is still ongoing, but I am convinced that 3 billion will be secured - he added.

19:56

Domański:

President Likely Listens Too Much to Opposition MPs Who Like to Sow Panic
- President Duda likely listens too much to opposition MPs who like to sow panic, and the truth is that we have presented a budget for 2025 which is a budget for security, defense, and investments. We have secured record-breaking allocations for defense, 187 billion PLN, we have secured funds for healthcare, and we are financing investments that PiS only talked about or presented in their presentations, while we have actually found the funds for them – said Andrzej Domański on Polsat News.

19:58

Domański:

In the 2025 budget deficit, we have included the repayment of our predecessors' debts
- In the budget deficit for next year, we have also included the repayment of our predecessors' debts, because as part of the deficit for 2025, as much as 63 billion zlotys is the repayment of debts incurred by the government of Mateusz Morawiecki within the BGK fund, within COVID funds, within PFR, and we are drawing these debts back into the budget and repaying them - said Andrzej Domański on Polsat News. - We want public finances to be transparent, we are increasing this transparency step by step - he continued.

20:09

Sikorski on Poland's Absence from Berlin Meeting: Scholz Likely Made the Decision
- Likely, it was [Olaf Scholz who decided that there was no representative of Poland at the leaders' meeting in Berlin]. Usually, the hosts decide who they want to invite – said Radosław Sikorski in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach". - But last week, there was another meeting in Berlin, to which Poland was invited. At the prime ministerial level, I represented the Berlin Process concerning the integration of the Western Balkans. Such meetings happen all the time: G7, G20. We are not present in all formats – he stated.

20:10

Domański on the 'Next Step' in Lowering Health Contribution: 'I Hope We Reach an Agreement with Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz This Week'
- Entrepreneurs can no longer wait, which is why we decided to take this first step, i.e., the resignation from collecting health contributions from fixed assets [...] this act has been entered into the government's work schedule, and from January 1st, this tax, this contribution will not be levied - said Andrzej Domański in Polsat News. - At the moment, we are discussing the next step with our coalition partners. On Friday, I spoke with both Minister Paszyk and Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz about the next steps, because this is definitely not enough, and Polish entrepreneurs are already very impatient - he continued. - 4 billion zlotys for the implementation of this commitment, which is to lower the health contribution for Polish entrepreneurs, has been secured in the budget [...] I would like these talks to end really quickly [...]. I hope that with Ms. Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, we will reach an agreement this week - he added.

20:11

Sikorski on the Berlin Meeting: "Organized Haphazardly. No Decisions Were Made There."
- No decisions were made there [at the leaders' meeting in Berlin]. A communiqué was published. From what I hear, the Middle East dominated the decisions anyway. And please remember that this was a meeting organized haphazardly, as a substitute for the meeting where President Andrzej Duda was supposed to be in Ramstein. So I wouldn't attach too much importance to it - said Radosław Sikorski in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

20:14

Sikorski:

It Would Be Better If We Were Invited to Berlin. When Poland is Present, Decisions Are Better
- It would have been better if Poland had been invited [to Berlin for a meeting of the leaders of France, Germany, Great Britain, and the USA]. For this reason, the opposition, the CDU, has already criticized the Chancellor. I hope this will give our neighbours something to think about, because I will remind you that when Poland is present, decisions are better - said Radosław Sikorski on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" program.

20:18

GDP Growth Fueled by KPO Funds: Domański Presents the Figures
- We want additional engines of economic growth to kick in. And investments must be such an engine of economic growth. We launched the KPO, contrary to what the opposition said, Donald Tusk very quickly secured the release of funds from the KPO, and these funds are already working, and there will be significantly more of them next year - said Andrzej Domański on Polsat News. - Approximately 0.7-0.8% of the GDP growth that we forecast for next year will be thanks to funds from the KPO, and I wanted to say that this year our economy will grow at a rate of about 3%, while next year we predict this growth will reach almost 4% - he continued. - The Polish economy is clearly accelerating, but besides this engine of domestic consumption, this sales in stores, we need more investment - he went on to say.

20:22

Sikorski on the Latest European Council:

It Was a Much More Important Meeting Than the One in Berlin.
- The European Council, where all of Europe supported the migration strategy, was more important. We expected the European Union to acknowledge our migration strategy, but the EU adopted it as its own. That's a really big deal - Radosław Sikorski argued on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts after Facts). - The European Council also decided that countries with the largest number of refugees from Ukraine, such as Poland and Germany, and also the Czech Republic, should receive financial support from European institutions - he continued. As he assessed: - It was a much more important meeting than the de facto farewell of Joe Biden to the countries that were there [in Berlin].

20:22

Domański on Reports of Cuts to Milk Bar Subsidies:

An Absolute Untruth.
- No, that is an absolute untruth - stated Andrzej Domański on Polsat News, when asked about reports that the government is preparing cuts to milk bar subsidies. - Milk bars will receive the amount of money they apply for, that is obvious to me. These are not large sums at all [...] around PLN 10 million - he continued.

20:27

Sikorski:

I am surprised the President wants to leave amidst a witch hunt against the government and division of Poles
- I am surprised that the President wants to leave amidst a witch hunt against the government and the division of Poles. That he has defined himself at the end of his presidency as the last bastion of PiS. That Jarosław Kaczyński's smile is more important to him than the respect of Poles - Radosław Sikorski said on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach". - Some matters he spoke about [during his address to the Sejm] were very clearly political, and the President should rather unite, not divide [...], and in a situation of external threat, he should rather lower the temperature of the dispute - he stated.

20:34

Sikorski:

Does the President Consider All My Ambassador Candidates Traitors and Agents?
- The President, in accordance with the constitution, appoints and recalls ambassadors upon the request of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. If the President dislikes any of my candidates, he has the right to reject them. But are all the candidates, about 50 of them, that I have put forward – after positive opinions from the Foreign Service Convention, after positive opinions from the Sejm's Foreign Affairs Committee, after obtaining the consent of the host country – really, in the President's view, all traitors and agents? – stated Radosław Sikorski in TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts after Facts). - The President says he cannot appoint because he has not recalled. Meanwhile, in several good countries – with Israel at the forefront – there is no one to recall because there are vacancies. I inherited a ministry with 20% of posts completely unoccupied. Even PiS didn't have weak candidates – he pointed out.

20:35

Morawiecki Calls on Tusk to Renounce the Migration Pact

- This is a huge threat. I want to warn against it and at the same time I call on Tusk to renounce the migration pact. Let him use the path that I used in 2018. Everyone can check the European Council conclusions from June 2018 - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on wPolsce24.

- The migration pact was also adopted earlier, but by building a small but very cohesive coalition, I managed to conduct an effective operation regarding the migration pact then - he continued.

20:42

Morawiecki:

Why Should We Poles Be Accountable for Scholz's Sins, Tusk's Mistakes?
We built a wall, a wall that according to the current Prime Minister was not supposed to be built even for 3 years, and at the same time, it was he who spoke of these migrants as poor people looking for their place on earth. We opposed this from the very beginning. Why should we Poles be accountable today for Scholz's sins, for Tusk's mistakes? Everything that Western Europe has brought upon itself – stated Mateusz Morawiecki on wPolsce24.

20:42

Sikorski on the Ambassador Appointments:

The President is Angering the Government.
- The President, as in other matters, is angering the government, so I don't take it personally. The President has not appointed nor recalled a single ambassador in these 9 months, not even where he agreed with the Prime Minister. [...] So please judge for yourselves whether this is the President's constructive approach to fulfilling his constitutional duties - said Radosław Sikorski on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts After Facts).

20:44

Morawiecki on Tusk:

This is his typical smokescreen.

- This is his typical smokescreen. When he sees he's already on the ropes, he immediately tries to throw in the white towel of “Other topics, substitute topics.” So that people will talk about the right to asylum for a week. This is a secondary, tertiary topic - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on wPolsce24.

Morawiecki:

The Current Government Cut the 14th Pension. Presumably to Prepare Funds for Social Benefits for Illegal Immigrants

- What has the current government done? It cut the 14th [14th pension]. For what purpose? By one-third, by nearly 900 PLN. Presumably to prepare funds for social benefits for illegal immigrants. I do not want to agree to any social benefits flowing to illegal immigrants - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on wPolsce24.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Comments on Tusk's Exclusion from Berlin Meeting:

Highly Unfortunate, Astonishing.

- It [the absence of an invitation for the Polish Prime Minister to the leaders' meeting in Berlin] was surprising, and I believe it was an evident decision by the hosts, who decided this way, and I think it is greatly to the detriment of this meeting. High-level meetings about our neighbor, our region, in the sense that we are a front-line country that bears enormous costs and commitment in this war regarding supporting Ukraine – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in the program "Kropka nad i" on TVN24.

- Highly unfortunate, very astonishing, a very uninteresting signal to the Kremlin regarding European unity. Honestly, I can't even explain it to myself, because it doesn't build anyone's security – she assessed.

Morawiecki on PiS Candidate Presentation on November 11th:

It's Unknown if This Will Happen.

- It's unknown if this will happen [if PiS will announce a candidate on November 11th], because we are still considering a mechanism for conducting a certain test among our most loyal supporters, PiS members. The mechanism of so-called primaries, it's still possible to implement, but final decisions within our leadership have not yet been made – stated Mateusz Morawiecki in wPolsce24.

- 2, 3, 4, there must be a choice between at least two, but we are wondering if we shouldn't add more candidates there – he continued.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

We Need a Migration Strategy
We need a good migration strategy that will provide us with three things, and the third one is completely overlooked, yet it is super important. The first thing is security, the security of European and Polish borders, which is undeniably necessary. The second thing is: we must have good laws that will allow us to accept those whom we want. We should want to accept refugees fleeing Lukashenka's repressions in Poland, on safe terms. The third thing is development. Only within this triangle do we have a good migration strategy, because development means money, development means a developing economy, and that too is security – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Duda's Address to the Sejm:

The Most Partisan I've Ever Heard.

- The President, unfortunately, unfortunately, I must say with some sadness, used the address, which is usually considered something where one speaks to all citizens, not engages in such one-sided, partisan politics. This address was probably the most partisan, not political, but partisan address I have ever had the occasion to hear, and I think that is sad – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24.
