There Will Be Pressure, There Will Be Talks, The European Council Will Discuss This." Siemoniak on Immigration and Border Controls

- There will be pressure, this pressure is already very high, there will be talks, the European Council will discuss this. So that in these actions of the EU, of individual states, we see joint action, solidarity in the face of various challenges, and not attempts to internally play out this situation - stated Tomasz Siemoniak in "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

- I don't want to anticipate facts, but our part of Europe, I'm talking about Polish-Czech consultations here, very recent ones, from the day before yesterday, has a very clear, sharp judgment of this situation, and these proposals from the Czech side or the Polish-Czech side have also emerged - he continued.

08:01

Brudziński on NIK's Report on Visas:

When Tusk Has Problems, He Has Banaś at Hand.
- Do you remember that series from the PRL era, "For Trouble... Bednarski"? Well, when Tusk has problems, he has Banaś at hand and "for trouble, Banaś." The NIK report and the visa scandal, which has as much to do with a scandal as I do with ballet in Ulaanbaatar – said Joachim Brudziński in the "Conversation at 7:00" on RMF24. - Certain irregularities that occurred during the issuance of visas were identified and diagnosed by the services during our government. Individuals were apprehended. Inflated with the help, let's be honest, of media subservient to Tusk, into a mega-scandal, [...] accusations were made here concerning hundreds of thousands, millions of illegally issued visas. Even this, God help us, commission found that the matter concerned merely a few hundred irregularities – he continued.

08:11

Siemoniak on Civic Coalition's Presidential Candidate:

I'm Glad We're Not in a Fishless Situation Like PiS,
This decision hasn't been made yet. Rafał Trzaskowski is the obvious candidate. I am very glad that we are not in a fishless situation like PiS, where with all due respect, rather unknown individuals are being considered as candidates. We have several excellent candidates, each of whom, I am convinced, would win the presidential election. However, this decision is still ahead of us, and as I hear from announcements, it will be made this year – stated Tomasz Siemoniak on PR1's "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day).

08:13

Brudziński on Sikorski:

A Platformist Enforcer Spouting All Sorts of Nonsense.
"This party, platformist enforcer spouts all sorts of nonsense and has been attacking PiS relentlessly for years, sometimes in an extremely brutal, boorish manner," said Joachim Brudziński in the "Conversation at 7:00 AM" on RMF24, referring to Radosław Sikorski.

08:16

Siemoniak on the coalition:

There are differences of opinion, nobody hides it.

- There are differences of opinion, nobody hides it, nobody sweeps them under the rug if there are different views. These are different opinions regarding very important substantive matters, and I believe that such issues never break a coalition. If the dispute is about something like the health contribution or the 0% loan, these are real choices where there are arguments for and against, how much money there is for it, so I am not worried about it - stated Tomasz Siemoniak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

08:27

Brudziński on Talks with PSL and PL2050 Politicians:

We Won't Jump onto the Wire for Tusk.
- I often talk with MPs from the PSL, and I've even spoken with MPs or activists from Poland 2050. I often hear: "We won't jump onto the wire for Tusk." What Tusk, Bodnar, and earlier Sienkiewicz are doing – we won't die for them. This is so egregious it makes your teeth ache." - said Joachim Brudziński in "Conversation at 7:00" on RMF24. - They are still afraid of Tusk, but the further we go, the weaker the fear of Tusk will become. I am convinced of this. And we will restore true rule of law and order in Poland, in the best sense of those words - he added.

08:30

‘I Don’t See Any Regulations Broken’. Siemoniak on Gajewska and Myrcha’s Apartment

- I don’t see any regulations broken anywhere. The fact that there are a lot of emotions surrounding this matter, there are various statements, that’s another issue. However, I know Arkadiusz Myrcha and Kinga Gajewska. They are very honest people, and even if they made some communication errors, it seems to me that we are not applying the same standards to different matters that are occurring - stated Tomasz Siemoniak in ‘Sygnały dnia’ on PR1.

08:34

Kukiz on Matysiak:

I Would Gladly Form a Party With Her, Cooperate
- It's a shame she [Paulina Matysiak] didn't manage to defend herself, and not even for political reasons, but for human ones. The MP greatly impressed me with her appearance at the podium and her statement: I will not leave, because I have ideals, because I have plans, I am above your party disputes, I am for Poland. And at that moment, it makes no difference whether she has a left-wing or right-wing worldview - Paweł Kukiz said in the "Morning Conversation" on RMF FM. - I would gladly form a party with her, to be honest, really, with people like that, I mean a party, form a party, act, cooperate, on such a basis - he continued.

08:36

Brudziński:

I'm very glad that Ziobro and his associates will join the PiS team
- The coalition is creaking, more and more often there are all sorts of disgraceful brawls and various kinds of tensions. And on the opposition's side, there is a clear desire and consistency for our political camp to unite - said Joachim Brudziński in the "Conversation at 7:00" on RMF24. Ziobro like the prodigal son? - When I was establishing PiS in West Pomerania, I remember that one of the very young, but extremely dynamic activists of that party, which we co-created, was Zbigniew Ziobro. Today, this environment is returning to the fold, we are uniting. This is very good news for our supporters - he continued. - A few years ago, I probably would have used [the term that the prodigal son is returning], because my language was more itching. Today, I am a bit more subdued politician, so I will not use such terms. I can only say this: I am very glad that Zbigniew Ziobro and his associates will join the PiS team - he emphasized.

08:40

Brudziński on the Merger of PiS and SP:

Anyone with a Drop of Sense Knows We Must Unite.
- I am a politician experienced enough to know how many different kinds of emotions such decisions can evoke in individual constituencies, regions, and among my fellow MPs - said Joachim Brudziński in the "Conversation at 7:00" on RMF24. - But I also know one thing: that everyone [...] who has a drop of sense knows that to win against Tusk today, we must unite. There is no enemy within the United Right camp. The enemy, the opponent, is on the side of those who are devastating Poland: the clique of December 13th - he emphasized.

08:42

"A Real Dictatorship": Kukiz on the Potential Consequence of the Ruling Coalition's Candidate Winning the Presidential Election
- In a moment, should a representative of the current ruling coalition win the presidential election, we could be dealing with a real dictatorship - Paweł Kukiz said on RMF FM.

08:44

Kukiz Rules Out Presidential Election Bid:

Absolutely Not.
- Absolutely not - said Paweł Kukiz on RMF FM when asked about running in the presidential elections. - Yes [I ran once], but that was a different situation, my different age, a different climate, different hopes, different perception of people - he continued.

08:50

Kukiz on Hołownia:

I Warned Him, I Gave Him Advice, Unfortunately He Didn't Take It.
- I warned him. [...] Before these elections, I met with the Marshal [Szymon Hołownia], who was not yet Marshal then, probably two or three times, and I presented to him, truly in good faith [...]. I told him about my experiences, I told him that one needs to be more pragmatic, that it is not as it seems - said Paweł Kukiz in an interview with RMF FM. - That he should watch out for this and that, I cannot reveal the details, but I gave him various warnings, my experiences with the Polish People's Party [...] I gave him all sorts of advice, and unfortunately, he did not take it, unfortunately for himself - he continued.

08:51

Brudziński on the New PiS Body:

The Vanguard of Executive Action, Full of Fighters.
- This [Executive Committee] is meant to be the vanguard… of executive action. The fact that several dozen very dynamic, efficient, combative – but in the good sense of the word, fighters – politicians of the younger generation, who are excellently educated and unafraid of challenges, will join it… that’s a very good idea – a kind of rebranding, rejuvenation of the party, showing that the party has potential, dynamism – said Joachim Brudziński in “Conversation at 7:00” on RMF24. - And the fact that Mariusz Błaszczak, who is also the head of the parliamentary club, will coordinate these works… I am very happy about that, because I know the potential, experience, and skills that Minister Błaszczak possesses in management, motivation, and cooperation – he assessed.

08:56

"A Few Weeks": Brudziński on Announcing PiS Presidential Candidate
- You journalists have been juggling these names [of individuals considered as PiS presidential candidates] for many weeks, if not months. I ask for patience; it is truly just a matter of weeks - said Joachim Brudziński in "Rozmowa o 7:00" on RMF24. - It must be a candidate whose persona will offer a chance and hope to gain votes in the second round from those who do not identify with PiS on a daily basis - he continued.

09:03

Brudziński:

Are Confederation Leaders Donald Tusk's Useful Idiots?
- I don't want to offend Confederation voters, but sometimes, observing the politics of the leaders of this group – which is also very eclectic and divided – one cannot help but ask whether they are not, in this case, Donald Tusk's useful idiots – said Joachim Brudziński in the "Conversation at 7:00" on RMF24. - To say that the PiS candidate will not enter the second round, and that the Confederation candidate has a chance for the second round, borders not so much on cabaret as on a peculiar kind of absolute detachment from reality – he assessed.

09:32

Lichocka:

Domański is Transferring Funds to Companies in Liquidation. He Will Be Held Accountable

- You have placed them [public media] in a state of fictitious liquidation, and this has started to bother you, your own breaking of the law, your criminal actions have started to bother you. Because a company in liquidation should be liquidated, and it is not. Therefore, your party appointees in these companies are breaking the law - stated Joanna Lichocka in the Sejm.

- The Minister of Finance is signing transfers to these companies, which is already almost 2 billion PLN. Minister Domański knows that he is breaking the law, because he is transferring money to companies that are in liquidation, and he treats them as if they were normal companies. And Mr. Domański has gotten tired of this, because he knows that he will be held accountable for it - the PiS MP continued.

09:42

Czarnek Responds to Śmiszek Regarding a Lecture in a Church:

We Invite You, Krzysiu, to Church.
I cordially invite Krzysztof Śmiszek and all colleagues from The Left to church. I invite you to prayer, because there was prayer, and 600 people came. Firstly, I was invited by the church because it was a meeting organized not by a party, but by the Radio Maryja family and the Redemptorist fathers – stated Przemysław Czarnek in the program "Bez uników" on PR3. 600 people came, who couldn't fit into a room for 150 people, and the Radio Maryja family often meets in church. There was a discussion about the Mother of God, about the history of Poland, about Christianity, about great victories that were preceded by great prayer. That's how it was, so I cordially invite you to prayer, and it all started with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. This is done in church, really, Krzysiu, we invite you - the PiS MP continued.

09:43

Czarnek Appeals to Dworczyk:

He Shouldn't Say Such Things, Especially Now.
I don't know, because the congress and delegates will decide on that, but I hope it will happen. It's quite natural in the sense that our friends from Suwerenna Polska are MPs in the PiS parliamentary club, and perhaps among the most active ones. Especially a large part of them, so it will be a natural merger if it happens, and I will be happy about it – said Przemysław Czarnek in PR3. - I have already told Michał Dworczyk, both personally and through the media, my dear friend Michał Dworczyk, to calm down and not say such things [about Zbigniew Ziobro], especially today. I think he is driven by some emotions, I think some negative emotions, everyone has some negative emotions – he added.

09:43

Czarnek Proposes a New Constitution:

This Chaos Must Be Stopped.

- Some call it a constitutional reset, while others, as President Kaczyński puts it directly, simply call it adopting a new constitution. It seems to me that a moment must come when all sides of the conflict, let's call it that, or all political groups on the political scene, delegate their representatives who will establish a new formula for the functioning of the state, meaning a new constitution must be created. An agreement must be reached that this chaos must be stopped, because this chaos is leading all of us. Not only those who are causing it, not only us, but all of us to ruin – stated Przemysław Czarnek on PR3.

10:10

"Radical Steps Are Necessary': Błaszczak on the State Budget Situation and Shortfalls in the National Health Fund
- This year's state budget revenues will be lower by over 40 billion PLN, with 28 billion PLN being a lower amount of tax revenues, strictly tax-related, and 13 billion PLN representing lower revenues resulting from the collapse, for example, in the finances of State Treasury companies - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference. - All of this causes a financial collapse in very important areas related to Poland's security, primarily in healthcare. The National Health Fund is underfunded; it's practically unknown how much is missing to balance the assets and liabilities of the National Health Fund. We are even talking about several billion PLN - he continued. - The deficit in the National Health Fund's budget threatens the lives and health of Poles. The government, with a light hand, Donald Tusk with a light hand, allocates over two billion PLN to neo-TVP, while regarding the healthcare fund, there is no money, no support. Therefore, all of this necessitates radical steps. Law and Justice is ready to present an alternative program. We recall that during the times of Law and Justice's governance, there was money, the budget functioned - he went on to say.

10:14

Błaszczak:

The Government Tolerates Tax Crimes and Abuses. The 2025 Budget Will Be Fictitious
- What is happening within the National Revenue Administration is a measure of the drama that has befallen Poland. In a letter sent to Donald Tusk by the inter-company trade union Związkowa Alternatywa at the National Revenue Administration, issues concerning, for example, the increase in tax crime and the liquidation of units established to combat tax crime are indicated – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference. - It is evident from this that the government of the December 13 coalition tolerates tax crimes, tolerates abuses, and this is also one of the reasons for the budget deficit we are facing this year, and it is one of the reasons why the state budget planned for 2025 will be a fictitious budget [...] it will be based on completely unrealistic criteria – he continued.

10:17

Błaszczak on PiS and Sovereign Poland:

From My Information, the Merger Will Happen.
- From my information, the merger [of PiS and Sovereign Poland at the congress] will happen, and this is good news for the voters of the Law and Justice party, because I have always heard at meetings with Law and Justice voters that there is strength in unity - Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

10:21

Kuźmiuk:

The Goal is to Exit the Liquidation Formula at All Costs, and Taking Over the National Media Council Will Serve This Purpose
- The point is that public media have been put into liquidation, while still being funded from the public budget. The goal is to exit this liquidation formula at all costs, and taking over the National Media Council will serve this purpose. Therefore, it's about legalizing crimes - said Zbigniew Kuźmiuk at a press conference.

10:53

Pegasus Committee Requests Compulsory Attendance of Former ABW Chief

Piotr Pogonowski, former head of the Internal Security Agency (ABW), has failed to appear for his third hearing before the parliamentary committee investigating Pegasus spyware. He cited a ruling from the Constitutional Tribunal declaring the committee unconstitutional.

Consequently, the committee voted to request the District Court in Warsaw to impose a fine on Pogonowski for his non-attendance, as well as his detention and compulsory escort to the committee.

Seven committee members voted in favor, one voted against, and no one abstained.

11:06

Voters Don't Accept Government Squabbles. Grabiec on New Poll

- The voters who gave us victory a year ago do not accept the squabbles within the government. This is not the right way - wrote Jan Grabiec on social media.

11:18

Fogiel to the Government: Are You Appointing Drug Dealers or Addicts to State-Owned Companies?
Yesterday we learned that a nominee of this government, Tusk's fat cat, the CEO of PZU Ukraine, was detained for possessing drugs. A dog detected drugs on him as he crossed the border. These are your cadres, whom are you appointing to state-owned companies, drug dealers or addicts? Ladies and gentlemen, each passing day brings new revelations. Today we learn that Urszula Rogóż-Bury, wife of former MP Jan B., accused of corruption, has become deputy director of KOWR in Rzeszów. Party cronyism, disgrace, and a man smuggling drugs – this is what politics in state-owned companies looks like under this government – stated Radosław Fogiel in the Sejm.

11:19

Domański to PiS: Perhaps What Truly Bothers You in the Budget Are the Growing Outlays for the Prosecutor's Office?

- Ladies and gentlemen from PiS, how can you not be ashamed? How can you not be ashamed to vote for the rejection of 187 billion [PLN] for national defense, for the modernization of the Polish army? How can you, the MPs, not be ashamed to vote for the rejection of 8 billion [PLN] for the 'babciowe' [grandparental benefit]? Do you know that we have nearly 300,000 applications and will soon begin disbursing funds? Or perhaps 0.5 billion [PLN] for in vitro bothers you in this budget? - stated Andrzej Domański in the Sejm.

- That we have funds in the budget for financing helplines for children and youth, which you took away? Do you want to vote for the rejection of almost 5 billion [PLN] for the first Polish nuclear power plant, for a billion [PLN] for the modernization of the railway network. Or perhaps, ladies and gentlemen MPs from PiS, perhaps what truly bothers you in this budget are the growing outlays for the prosecutor's office? - he continued.

11:20

Szefernaker:

You want to take resources from Fire Brigade commanders and give them to Pawlak. We will oppose this.
- As the Law and Justice party club, through our parliamentary interventions, we have obtained further staggering data regarding the state's lack of preparedness for the floods. According to the information we have, until the Commander-in-Chief of the State Fire Service took command, for example, regarding flood barriers, of which we have 200 km in the State Fire Service in Poland, on September 14th there were 0 km, on September 15th there were 800 m, on September 16th there were 8 km - said Paweł Szefernaker during a Sejm session. - Only on September 16th, when the Commander-in-Chief took command, did you use 31 km of these dikes on September 17th. [...] Moving on to the act: this act is another vote of no confidence in the command of the Fire Brigade. You are taking away their resources and transferring them to the politicized board of the Volunteer Fire Service. You are taking away resources from the provincial, district, and chief commanders, and you want to give them to Pawlak. We will oppose this - he continued.

11:35

Czabański Removed from the National Media Council

By a decision of the Sejm, Krzysztof Czabański has been removed from the National Media Council. The motion was supported by 257 MPs, with 183 voting against.

11:35

"Everything Has Been Started." Schetyna on the Implementation of "100 Concrete Actions for 100 Days"
- We talked about 100 concrete actions for 100 days at the convention in Tarnów; it was the Civic Coalition's program, and then the principles of the program were adopted by the October 15th coalition - Grzegorz Schetyna said in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on the program "Sedno Sprawy" on Radio Plus. - Everything has been started - he continued.

11:42

Schetyna:

A Coalition of Four Parties is Never an Ideal Scenario, Making it Difficult to Unite Everyone
- It is never an ideal scenario when there is a coalition of four parties and it is difficult to build something that can unite everyone, different parties - Grzegorz Schetyna said on Radio Plus. - Those [differences] are natural, because they are different parties, different environments - he continued.

11:45

Schetyna on Myrcha's Potential Resignation:

I Don't See Any Reason.
- No, I don't think there's any reason that would justify such behavior. I believe that if there's anything we need to do here, it might be simply to thoroughly review the regulations concerning MPs and senators within the Chancellery of the Sejm and Senate, regarding the possibilities of renting apartments here in Warsaw, and that's all – Grzegorz Schetyna stated on Radio Plus, when asked if Arkadiusz Myrcha should resign.

11:58

Kosiniak-Kamysz Appeals to Duda:

An Ambassador to Israel is Very Necessary for Us.

- We could certainly do much better if there were a Polish ambassador in Israel, if the president appointed ambassadors. I think this is a good moment to make such a decision. An ambassador to Israel is very necessary for us. We are at a point where the UN must develop a new strategy and is working on it - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

13:14

A Clever Way for Wealthy Western European Countries to Get Rid of the Problem". Morawiecki on the Migration Pact
- The Migration Pact is de facto a green light for uncontrolled migration. It has nothing to do with human rights. Instead, thousands, even millions of people will be left at the mercy of smugglers and criminal groups - said Mateusz Morawiecki in a YouTube recording. - Secondly, this Migration Pact is a mechanism of coercion: accept or pay. This is not how true solidarity works. It is a clever way for wealthy Western European countries to get rid of a problem that, moreover, they brought upon themselves - he continued. - I am not against people of different cultures. I don't mind different skin color, different language, different traditions, absolutely not. [...] I am against the irrational, flawed migration policy of the European Union - he went on to say.

13:20

Morawiecki:

Stop Special Benefits for Illegal Immigrants
- The EU directive provides for the equalization of social benefits for migrants throughout the European Union. Today, the average pension in Poland is just over 3.5 thousand PLN gross. Let's imagine now that our parents, our grandparents, worked hard for 30, 40 years for these pensions, and now, right from the start, an immigrant from the Middle East, or Africa, or wherever, is to receive a benefit of 650 or 700 euros, and what, maybe also free housing, because I've heard about that too - said Mateusz Morawiecki in a YouTube recording. - This is an unacceptable injustice towards Poles. [...] Stop such special benefits for illegal immigrants. The matter is simple: payment is due for work, but without special treatment and without favouring anyone - he continued.

13:24

Morawiecki:

Still Too Few Understand That Hostile States Weaponize Migration for Brutal Politics
- Still too few people understand that states hostile to Europe, hostile to Poland, are using migration as a tool to pursue their brutal policies. The example from the Belarusian border shows that this is a coordinated action aimed at destabilizing Poland, at destabilizing Europe. It is not easy to distinguish ordinary people from those who want to carry out hostile actions on the territory of our country - said Mateusz Morawiecki in a YouTube recording. - Therefore, we cannot succumb to emotions in matters of migration; we must be guided primarily by common sense, the interests and security of our state - he continued.

16:13

Arraiolos Group Presidents Meet on Security and Aid to Ukraine

- We just discussed those European topics that you can certainly guess for the most part, because of course, security issues were raised many times, issues of our common support for Ukraine were raised many times, issues of how to act so that Ukraine not only survives this terrible Russian aggression, but also how to act so that Ukraine can be admitted to the EU as quickly as possible. From this point of view, as the main focus of our meeting today, I presented Poland's priorities in its upcoming presidency of the Council of the EU, which will begin, I remind you, on January 1 and will last for the first half of 2025. So, firstly, strengthening ties between the EU and the United States. We also talked about the issue of European integration of new member states, and thus about open doors to Europe – stated Andrzej Duda at a press briefing.

17:51

Augustyn:

The National Media Council Should Be Abolished
The National Media Council is not in the constitution; there is the National Broadcasting Council, and this means it was created, I would call it, a workers' cooperative, a media workers' cooperative, headed by Mr. Czabański. The National Media Council is unnecessary for anyone for anything today, and the moment it is possible, when the President's pen can sign a normal law, the National Media Council should be abolished – stated Urszula Augustyn on PR24.

17:56

Augustyn on Czabański and Lichocka:

One Must Look Broadly at the Issue of Exerting Influence.

- In the case of the National Media Council, this is the opening of a new chapter. Krzysztof Czabański has only been dismissed from this position for a few hours; now the procedure requires the Marshal to take the next steps, meaning the Marshal will have to announce a recruitment process, because according to the law that is still in effect, this law suggests that the next steps will now take place – stated Urszula Augustyn in PR24.

- That Mr. Czabański did not exert [influence] is Mr. Czabański's opinion. However, he had such possibilities, and I will remind you that the law passed by PiS in 2016 contains provisions for which its author, or rather the one who refined it, was his parliamentary colleague, now his colleague from the National Media Council, MP Joanna Lichocka, who cared very much about this and had such an intention, as it directly follows from the transcript, that one must look very broadly at the issue of influence – she continued.

19:39

Siewiera:

The Number of Illegal Border Crossing Attempts is Among the Lowest Recorded So Far

- Today, we can proudly say that the number of illegal border crossing attempts is among the lowest recorded so far. This is not the result of one week, one month, or half a year. It is the result of 3 years, because this crisis has been ongoing for 3 years - stated Jacek Siewiera on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

19:43

Korneluk:

The President is Completely Diverging from the Truth and the Legal Reality in the Prosecutor's Office
- We have one National Public Prosecutor, Mr. Prosecutor Barski, as of January 12th of this year, after the Minister of Justice - the Prosecutor General found, ceased to hold the position of National Public Prosecutor - said Dariusz Korneluk in a conversation with Dariusz Ociepa on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - President Andrzej Duda is completely diverging from the truth and the legal reality that exists today in the prosecutor's office - he continued.

19:48

Korneluk on the Supreme Court's Criminal Chamber Decision:

It Wasn't a Resolution, But a Stance Issued by Individuals Who Are Not Judges.
- Like most of the legal community, I maintain that it wasn't a resolution, but a stance. A stance issued not by judges, but by individuals who are not judges. Furthermore, in accordance with the resolution of three combined chambers, we cannot speak of judges in this case, because they lack the attribute that absolutely should exist in judges: the attribute of impartiality and independence - stated Dariusz Korneluk in Polsat News, when asked about the Supreme Court's Criminal Chamber resolution concerning the National Public Prosecutor.

19:51

Korneluk on Duda:

He is Not My Legal Authority.
- He is not my legal authority, and by following other lawyers, academics [...] just as I follow the former First President of the Supreme Court, the former President of the Constitutional Tribunal, who state directly: we have a president who has repeatedly violated the Constitution - said Dariusz Korneluk on Polsat News about President Andrzej Duda.

19:57

Korneluk:

I Am Preparing a Private Indictment Against Matecki
- The legal knowledge of Mr. MP is very poor, especially since he is inciting the commission of a crime - Dariusz Korneluk said in Polsat News, when asked about Dariusz Matecki's words that the National Prosecutor's Office building is occupied and the army should intervene to remove "criminals". - I must say that I am at the stage of preparing a private indictment against MP Matecki [...] in connection with another, personal statement - he continued.

20:04

Korneluk Confirms Date of Romanowski's Planned Interrogation:

Yes, It's True.
- Yes, it's true, he has been summoned for the 15th [of October] and the prosecutor [Piotr Woźniak] authorized me to publicize this date. Earlier, MP Romanowski was summoned for October 7th, but he did not appear - Dariusz Korneluk told Polsat News, when asked if Marcin Romanowski had been summoned to the prosecutor's office for Tuesday. - Definitely yes [the date's coincidence with the election anniversary is a coincidence], I assure you, today's prosecutor's office is absolutely not guided by the election calendar. It would be worse, definitely worse, if we set, for example, a different date just because it's the date of last year's parliamentary elections, absolutely, I cannot imagine that we would still have to work like that today - he continued. - We have consent to submit such a motion, the prosecutors will make a decision after carrying out the activities involving the suspect Romanowski - he added, when asked if the prosecutor's office would request an arrest.

20:18

Domański:

We've Prepared a Defense and Investment Budget That Also Remembers Polish Families
- We've prepared a defense and investment budget, but also a budget that remembers Polish families. That's why we've allocated a record-breaking 187 billion zlotys for defense in the budget and the Armed Forces Support Fund - said Andrzej Domański in an interview with Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz on TVP Info's "Pytanie dnia" (Question of the Day). - We must remember that our economy is currently developing the fastest in the EU, but we want this growth to last. Therefore, we must also focus on investments, which is why, for instance, we have secured almost 5 billion zlotys in the budget for the construction of a nuclear power plant - he continued.

Domański asked about tax increases:

Currently, we are not conducting any work at the ministry.
- As the person responsible for public finances, I naturally cannot say that taxes will never be raised in Poland. However, what I can say, and I say it very clearly, is that at the moment, the Ministry of Finance is not planning, is not conducting work on tax increases, and this is not related to elections, but it is related to the very good condition of the Polish economy – said Andrzej Domański in TVP Info's “Question of the Day”. - For example, in next year's budget, we see a clear increase in CIT tax without any tax increases – he added.

Domański:

Zandberg at Least Declared Readiness to Work on the Budget, Unlike PiS
- I think there is absolutely no question of any shock [within the coalition] here. Razem is where it is: a bit separate. I listened carefully today to Mr. Zandberg, who at least declared his readiness to work on this budget - unlike the PiS MPs, who wanted to reject the budget bill at the first reading - said Andrzej Domański on TVP Info's "Question of the Day".

Domański on the Passing of the 2025 Budget:

We Have a Secure Majority.
- What is important to me is that we have a secure majority that will support this budget. And it is a very good budget that ensures security and, what is truly very important, investments - said Andrzej Domański on TVP Info's “Question of the Day.”

Domański on Agreement Regarding Health Contribution:

The Matter of the Coming Days
- What is currently being discussed is, of course, the reduction of the health contribution for Polish entrepreneurs. I would like to emphasize once again that in the budget, we have secured 4 billion zlotys for such a reduction of this scale to be implemented - said Andrzej Domański in TVP Info's "Pytanie dnia" (Question of the Day). - In the election campaign, we spoke very clearly about reducing the health contribution for entrepreneurs, and we will certainly do it. Entrepreneurs can no longer wait. I think it is a matter of the coming days when this agreement will be reached - stated the Minister of Finance. "Enough Discussions, Time for Concrete Actions" As he recalled: - We have already taken the first step as a coalition, because the project for the abolition of the health contribution collection from the sale of fixed assets has already been entered into the government's work schedule. [...] So, step by step, this point concerning the reduction of the health contribution, which is very important for Polish entrepreneurs, will be implemented. - I think it is a matter of really a few days when this compromise will be reached. Enough discussions, it's time for concrete actions - he emphasized.

Domański on the Promise to Raise the Tax-Free Allowance to PLN 60,000:

It’s Still Valid. I Will Present the Prime Minister with a Plan for Its Implementation.
- It is still as valid as ever. This budget and structural plan, which we adopted by the government and presented to Brussels, in no way excludes it – said Andrzej Domański in TVP Info’s “Question of the Day,” when asked about the promise to raise the tax-free allowance to PLN 60,000.

- I will present Prime Minister Tusk, as I was obligated to do, with a plan for the implementation of this commitment. Whether it will be in 2026, or 2027, or 2028 – I think sooner. This will be verified and will depend on the economic situation – he indicated.

Domański on the Budget Amendment:

The Probability Has Increased.
- Indeed, the probability that the budget will need to be amended has increased. On the one hand, due to the flood, and on the other hand, because we want to transfer an additional 10 billion zlotys to local governments this year, as we know in what difficult situation Polish local governments find themselves after years of PiS rule - said Andrzej Domański in "Question of the Day" on TVP Info. - The decision has not yet been made. I think this is also a matter for the coming days - he added.
