The Senate will convene on Wednesday. The session is scheduled to begin at 11:00. Earlier, at 10:50, a briefing by the Marshal of the Senate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, will be held.

At 18:00, a meeting between Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and the UK Secretary of State for Defence, John Healey, is scheduled. Statements to the media are foreseen for 19:40.

Romanowski:

We Are Dealing with "Extraction Arrests"

- Yes, I am calm, although it might indeed seem difficult to remain calm in a situation where we are dealing with "extraction arrests" directed at individuals against whom these arrests are baseless, and we are, of course, dealing with inhumane and degrading treatment. I am referring primarily to Father Michał Olszewski and two female officials - stated Marcin Romanowski on RMF FM.

08:10

Romanowski on Potential Further Arrests:

Neumann's Doctrine is Working in Reverse and We Witness It Constantly.

- In an emotional sense, no [I don't fear arrest], because I am fully aware that this is a transitional period under Donald Tusk's rule and this lawlessness. Yes, of course [I realize I could be detained and arrested]. Given the current heightened political state of judges, if a conservative politician is suspected and attacked… I am aware of this, but this political context is very important here. Neumann's doctrine working in reverse is unfortunately effective, and we witness it constantly - stated Marcin Romanowski on RMF FM.

08:37

Romanowski:

There Was No Criminal Group

- There was no organized criminal group, because there couldn't have been, even for structural reasons. Because if we follow the prosecution's line of reasoning, every crime committed by a team of 3 people, I don't know, in a company, at school, in an association, or anywhere else, would have to be qualified as acting in an organized criminal group - stated Marcin Romanowski on RMF FM.

08:42

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Abortion Referendum:

We Count on the Support of PiS and PO.
- We submitted our bill, and I am surprised it was not put to a vote first. It is a shame that the committee chaired by Ms. Łoboda did not present this bill for voting first, because it could gain the broadest support and is, in fact, a response to the protests that erupted after the change in rules by the Constitutional Tribunal - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Mariusz Piekarski on "Poranek TVP Info". - The first step is to reject the tribunal's verdict and call a referendum on this matter. To change these rules back to what they were before the Constitutional Tribunal's ruling and to call a referendum. Politicians are unable to reach an agreement on this issue, so citizens must be asked - he continued. - We count on the support of both PiS and Civic Platform; other circles are needed. Why are both the left and the right so afraid of women's voices? - he went on to say.

08:46

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Abortion Was Not the Driving Force Behind Voting for the Third Way
- Abortion was not the impulse for voting for the Third Way, studies show this [...] the strong impulse was to remove PiS from power [...] questions regarding the principles of terminating pregnancies were rare [at meetings with voters] - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVP Info.

08:56

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Continued Lack of Agreement on Partnership Unions:

We Submitted a Dissenting Opinion.
- We submitted a dissenting opinion to include this draft law [on partnership unions] in the government's work; it is not included in the coalition agreement. [...] The Prime Minister, the government can make such a decision, not everyone has to agree, dissenting opinions can be submitted at Council of Ministers meetings. There hasn't been a draft at a meeting yet, it's just entered into the government's work schedule - Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said on TVP Info. - No, there were very good conversations, which I am happy about, but we did not reach an agreement. Ms. Posłanka Pasławska did not reach an agreement with Ms. Minister Kotula on this matter - he continued.

08:57

Kidawa-Błońska:

Today, Trzaskowski is KO's candidate for president. He shows he is preparing for the role
- I have been in politics for too long, anything can change within a week or two. Today, of course, our candidate [for President of Poland] is Rafał Trzaskowski, who has been showing throughout this last term that he is preparing for this role. But politics, both in Poland, in the United States, and in the world, shows that anything is always possible – said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Renata Grochal on "Bez uników" PR3.

09:05

Law on Patriotic Upbringing: PSL Proposes Including a Fixed Reading List in the Law
- Regarding the law on patriotic upbringing, which is our latest proposal, we presented it at the National Council meeting; it is a very important initiative. We have several national holidays and days of remembrance ahead of us [...] this is a good time to discuss patriotism, and to ensure there is a reading canon that is not changed by every governing team [...] yes [we want to include a reading canon in the law], we want there to be unchanging, important works for the history of the state, for national identity - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVP Info. - Yes [I want to write this into the law], because I have the right to do so, this is an initiative of the Polish People's Party, which has the legislative initiative in this matter - he continued.

09:09

Kidawa-Błońska:

It's easy to hide behind one's conscience, but we cannot deprive women of safety
- I'm not surprised that women have taken to the streets and are angry. […] The law, which was supposed to decriminalize aiding in abortions, was intended to provide women with safety, so that doctors would not hesitate to perform an abortion when it is essential for the woman - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in "Bez uników" (Without Evasion) on PR3. - It is very easy to hide behind one's own conscience […], but we cannot impose on others how they should make decisions, and secondly: deprive them of safety. And such a treatment of the law and such a way of thinking about the law causes women to feel threatened. They feel, firstly: deceived, because it's not going as fast as they would like, and secondly: that it's not happening at all - she continued.

09:13

Paszyk on the abortion bill:

Whipping up a frenzy and giving women false hope.

- Today, honesty also dictates that we temper these sentiments. With the current president, and before 375 days have passed – someone calculated this on Szkło Kontaktowe yesterday, I saw it on your broadcast – there is still to be served by Andrzej Duda, unfortunately, we will make no changes in this regard, stated Krzysztof Paszyk in TVN24's "Jeden na jeden" program.

- I don't want to do everything in our power only for it to end up in the trash at the president's office in the Presidential Palace. Both regarding the abortion law and this bill, which is so loudly discussed now, we propose solutions that are realistic, he continued.

- In accordance with my conscience, and with my club's permission, the Constitution allows me to express my view in this regard, according to my own conscience, but above all, I treat my views in this matter as absolutely secondary, Paszyk emphasized.

- Because [conscience, signing, voting against] this bill is just whipping up a frenzy and giving women false hope. Realistic solutions that can be implemented today are those that will gain the president's signature. That would improve the situation, he added.

09:13

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

PSL's Health Contribution Proposal Will Be a Compromise Between Petru's Idea and MZ/MF's Suggestions
- I think the PSL's proposal will be a compromise proposal between Ryszard Petru's proposal and what the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance are proposing, meaning primarily aid for those who need it most, small entrepreneurs, sole proprietorships, who would like to return to the rules from before the so-called [...] Polish Deal – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVP Info. - For us, the ideal would be a return to the rules from before the Polish Deal, from two years ago, that would be the best [...] I understand the Minister of Finance, one cannot complain about him, that he has a different position in this dialogue – he continued.

09:20

"My Presence Was Justified, I Was on a Business Trip'. Sługocki on His Dismissal

- Formally, I know [why I was dismissed], of course, for not participating in the vote, in the context of the important abortion decriminalization bill. As you and everyone here knows, I was on a business trip at the time – stated Waldemar Sługocki in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- From a formal standpoint, I wasn't present for the vote, but this absence is justified in my assessment because I was on a business trip. It was also very important, prepared over many months. I met, among others, with the deputy head of NASA, with the management of Planet Labs, with representatives involved in space exploration from the University of California, Berkeley. So these are important people, important interlocutors, and we discussed very significant matters – he continued.

09:22

Sługocki on His Resignation:

I Don't Feel Like a Scapegoat.

- I don't feel like a scapegoat, Mr. Editor, truly my well-being is good. In my opinion, [being dismissed from the government overnight was not justified], meaning every decision should be preceded by some thorough analysis, a conversation, and decisions should be made in that context. But of course, as each of us knows, the style of wielding power is very different among various politicians. Prime Minister Tusk, as you can see from my example, is quite a decisive politician – said Waldemar Sługocki on Polsat News.

09:22

Kidawa-Błońska:

A Return to the So-Called Abortion Compromise is No Solution, It's Capitulation
- This [return to the abortion compromise] does not solve the problem, because it is, in fact, capitulation. Women and life rejected this so-called compromise. Years have shown that it did not work, did not meet women's expectations, and negatively impacted their lives. Furthermore, it was withdrawn by part of the political class, who considered it to violate their values. So it is no solution - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska on PR3's "Bez uników" (Without Evasions).

12:25

Buda on Sługocki's Dismissal:

Destruction of the State and Administration.

- We can argue on various matters, but the decision to dismiss Deputy Minister Sługocki over a business trip is the destruction of the state and administration - Waldemar Buda wrote on Twitter.

12:31

Morawiecki on the Importance of CPK:

This is Our Security and an Additional Wave of Investments
Today marks 222 days since the formation of Donald Tusk's government, and these 222 days have been characterized by a huge number of missed opportunities and many squandered projects. We can discuss them on various occasions. Today, I will focus on what is the greatest waste, namely the government's approach to CPK. The significance of this central airport, which should be the largest, most important project in the history of the Third Polish Republic, a project absolutely above political divisions, its importance is difficult to underestimate and difficult to overstate. Because through CPK, we not only raise our level of security, as we send a signal to Moscow, a signal to Russia, that our allies will come to our aid very quickly in the worst-case scenario. Without this hub, we will not be able to organize an additional wave of investments, an increase in profits for the Polish budget from VAT, customs duties, and excise taxes – said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

12:31

Morawiecki Calls for Polish Unity on CPK Against Tusk

- Let's watch their hands, that's why we prepared this report, that's why we are acting differently than our political opponents. They are establishing investigative committees, they are abusing the prosecutor's office, they are forcing prosecutors to carry out nefarious actions under political dictation, while we are establishing committees for development – stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- This is a great opportunity for us Poles to realize it; to do so, we need to unite. I thank all political forces not affiliated with PiS, and I thank all non-political, social forces for simply exerting this pressure, immense social pressure on Donald Tusk's government, to realize the CPK and the entire railway system in its original form – he continued.

13:13

Tusk at Police Day Celebrations:

There Is No Rule of Law Without the Police.
I want to emphasize this very clearly. There is no rule of law without the police. The police are the core of a lawful state. Citizens feel safe only in a state where there is some force, where there are people determined and well-prepared to enforce the law. A strong, efficient, well-prepared, decent police force, like the one we have here in Poland, is a guarantee of freedom and security for every Pole - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the Police Day celebrations.

13:20

Tusk Announces an Additional Billion Zlotys for the Police
The police must be well-equipped. I had a serious discussion with the Minister of Finance. I have made a decision, and the Minister of Finance has committed to implementing it, in consultation with the Minister of Interior and Administration, to allocate an additional billion zlotys for the police's needs, equipment, and logistical requirements in next year's state budget – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the Police Day celebrations. I am convinced that you will use this money well for the security of Poland and Poles. Seeing you today, hearing your oaths, knowing your determination and numbers, I know that our dream of Poland being the safest place in Europe, one of the safest places in the world, is not an illusion – added the head of government.

14:19

"We Demand Immediate Proceedings": Sovereign Poland Politicians Write to Bodnar Regarding Treatment of Fr. Olszewski and Civil Servants
- We are receiving information, among other things, that individuals currently in detention, namely female civil servants and Fr. Michał Olszewski, were, during specific periods, denied permission by the prosecution to receive even hygiene packages. This can be considered, one might say, within the realm of mistreatment, of torture. This will likely also be reported to the United Nations and various international organizations, including the Council of Europe - said Michał Wójcik at a press conference. - We have prepared a letter to Mr. Adam Bodnar, the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, expressing our outrage that he has not intervened in this matter. For many months, for example, Fr. Michał Olszewski, until July 18th, for many months, did not have the consent of the prosecutor handling the proceedings to receive a hygiene package. [...] The same situation applies to the civil servants; this is shameful. The person who oversees the entire Polish prosecution service is Mr. Adam Bodnar as the Prosecutor General. We demand that in this situation, where democracy in Poland has become merely a hollow shell, he immediately initiate proceedings in this matter and explain to the public why women [...] cannot receive personal items [...] why such a situation also concerns Fr. Michał Olszewski - he continued.

14:25

Jaki on Bodnar's actions:

If something like this were done in our time, the whole world would scream.
- We have a situation where Bodnar, as a politician who will be filing charges through a prosecutor's office seized by force and acting illegally, is now also choosing the judges who will be evaluating them [...]. This is simply unbelievable. If something like this were done in our time, the whole world would scream. [...] Let Adam Bodnar immediately sit there himself and also be the judge and evaluate the case of, for example, MP Romanowski - said Patryk Jaki at a press conference.

17:10

New Deputy Prosecutor General Appointed

- Prime Minister Donald Tusk has appointed Prosecutor Jacek Bilewicz to the position of Deputy Prosecutor General – it was announced in a statement.

17:26

Sejm Passes Two Bills on Constitutional Tribunal Reforms

The Sejm has passed two bills reforming the Constitutional Tribunal: a new law on the Constitutional Tribunal and a law with introductory provisions.

Both projects were supported by all present MPs from Civic Coalition, Third Way, and The Left. MPs from PiS, Confederation, and Kukiz'15 voted against.

The adopted projects propose, among other things, shortening the term of the President of the Constitutional Tribunal from 6 to 3 years, introducing the election of Constitutional Tribunal judges by the Sejm with a 3/5 majority, and stating that judgments issued with the participation of individuals not authorized to adjudicate (so-called 'dublers') are invalid and have no legal effect.

17:29

Tusk on the Coalition Situation:

Everything is Under Control.
And what happened? No... Don't take these words too seriously. Everything is under control. With my experience, we will manage everything – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

18:31

President Has One of the Last Chances to Repair His Reputation." Tusk on the Constitutional Tribunal Act
Do you think I am the best person to convince the president? I'm not sure. Well yes, [I am the Prime Minister], but Mr. President [Duda] does not seem to be sensitive to my arguments. But there are obvious reasons why the president should sign it. Someone mentioned it in the Sejm. I believe that's the case. The president has the last, or one of the last, chances to repair his reputation, the reputation of the presidential office, after what he has done over the years with the tribunal and the entire justice system – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the Sejm.

18:51

Morawiecki on the Situation at PKP Cargo:

They'd Ruin or Sell a Metal Ball Bearing for Half Price Too.
- Over 4,000 people. That's how many will lose their jobs at PKP Cargo, a company that made an 82 million zloty profit in 2023. They'd ruin or sell a metal ball bearing for half price too - Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter.

19:01

Tusk:

There is clearly no majority in the Sejm for unequivocally liberalizing abortion law

- I am very open to all constructive ideas and it's becoming a bit monotonous to keep hearing the assertion that I am responsible for the vote of Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz, not to mention PiS. I believe that on this matter, the voters have decided, there is simply no clear majority in the Sejm for unequivocally liberalizing abortion law. I say this with regret; I already stated this yesterday, and I take responsibility as Prime Minister. However, if anyone truly had an idea, here in this parliamentary chamber or within political parties, on how to get out of this situation, I am immediately available to act - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the Sejm.

19:03

Tusk:

Polish Women Are Not Interested in Returning to the Pre-Przyłębska Situation, the So-Called Compromise

- I do not rule out that there might be a majority in this Sejm to return to the so-called compromise, potentially through a joint vote with PiS. I don't rule this out, but one thing seems quite obvious. I've been discussing this for years, not months, with engaged, women's circles, with activists, and those conversations leave no shadow of doubt. That women in Poland are not interested in the idea of returning to the situation before Ms. Przyłębska, the so-called compromise. I cannot save anyone by force – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the Sejm.

19:05

Tusk:

I am strangely calm about the fact that the Justice Fund case will end up in court

- I am strangely calm about the fact that the Justice Fund case will end up in court and that those responsible for this scandal will face truly severe punishment - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the Sejm.

19:07

Tusk Announces Talks with Kosiniak-Kamysz Regarding the Church Fund:

I Don't See Any Dynamic Process.

- I have spoken and will continue to speak with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz, who, when the government was being formed, suggested he felt competent to handle the matter of the Church Fund. Indeed, I don't see any dynamic process, to put it delicately, and I will discuss with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz whether it isn't time to consider a different course of action - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the Sejm.

19:09

Rosa to Chair New Parliamentary Committee on Children and Youth

A standing committee on children and youth has been established in the Sejm, with MP Monika Rosa elected as its chairperson.

19:35

Mastalerek:

I Know My Place in Line. Unlike Many PiS Leaders

- I know my place in line. Unlike PiS, unlike many PiS leaders. I remember, thanks to no one, the good change, PiS took power in 2015 and it was President Duda. He broke the system, he won the elections in 2015. It was more of a Duda-change – stated Marcin Mastalerek in TVN24's “Fakty po faktach”.

19:38

Mastalerek:

The President and Prime Minister Were Not Supposed to Attend Police Day Celebrations. It Was Tusk Who Changed His Mind After Many Hours

- This is an ideal case study of media imbalance and double standards. At times, even hypocrisy in some media, or perhaps I'll say even more, duplicity. Because both politicians who are currently the most important in Poland, namely the president and the prime minister, were not supposed to be at these celebrations [Police Day], but one of the portals made a scandal out of the fact that one of these politicians wouldn't be there, directed towards the president. The prime minister was not supposed to be there, and suddenly, after a big scandal erupted because the president wouldn't be there, Prime Minister Tusk changed his mind after many hours and said: 'Then I will be there' – stated Marcin Mastalerek on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

19:42

Schetyna on Abortion Decriminalization:

It's a Defeat. If You Don't Have a Majority, You Don't Force Difficult Votes.
- This is bad. Every lost vote by the October 15th coalition is bad - said Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News, referring to the vote on abortion decriminalization. - There is no one to blame here, we all lose, it's simply a defeat and lessons must be learned and such situations must not be allowed to happen again, meaning: a majority is built, you need to have more than the opposition [...] you simply have to count, if you don't have a majority, you don't force difficult votes - he continued.

19:44

Mastalerek:

"I wouldn't do that, but these are Ambassador Magierowski's matters"

- I can only speak for myself. I wouldn't do that, but these are Ambassador Magierowski's matters. I don't know if they are true, I don't know if this is the case or not. However, I do know who, on March 12th, on the 25th anniversary of Poland's accession to NATO, started the quarrel [about ambassadors] - stated Marcin Mastalerek on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

19:48

Mastalerek:

Sikorski and Tusk Want an Ambassador from PO

- We had a good ambassador. Because before March 12th, did you find anyone, be it from the Left, PO, or PiS, who would claim: Marek Magierowski is not suited for this position, he is simply a weak ambassador? No, everyone knew he was a very good ambassador. What did Radosław Sikorski and Donald Tusk decide? They said: he will be among the 60 whom we will simply recall just like that. Because they want an ambassador from PO - stated Marcin Mastalerek in TVN24's 'Fakty po faktach'.

19:49

Schetyna on Lempart's Stance:

It Definitely Doesn't Help the Cause. Without PSL Votes, This Law Won't Pass.
- I believe that this is simply doing harm and the cause, such shouts, such emotions, bad emotions, such aggression - Grzegorz Schetyna said on Polsat News. - It definitely doesn't help the cause, I mean, I know that she [Marta Lempart] really wants this, she cares a lot about [the liberalization of abortion regulations] and these are people [from the Women's Strike] who are very committed [...] after all, without the votes of the Polish People's Party, this law will not pass, so those who are lamenting, shouting, and shaking their fists today should ask themselves whether we want this law, or whether we want to shout - he continued.

19:53

Mastalerek to Tusk: Please Stop Attacking Republicans and Trump, It's Harmful

- If [Donald Tusk] is watching, then Mr. Prime Minister, please stop attacking Republicans and Donald Trump, because it is harmful. Rather, please behave as Radosław Sikorski does - stated Marcin Mastalerek on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts After Facts).

19:58

Schetyna Rules Out a PSL Alliance with PiS:

They Are Sensible People There, They Know That This Coalition Will Kill Them.
- There is no such possibility [that PSL will leave the coalition]. [...] I believe in the good sense and experience of the Polish People's Party politicians, I know how much we have gone through together over the years, both in opposition and in building coalitions before. There is no alternative to the October 15 coalition - Grzegorz Schetyna said on Polsat News. - If someone says "I can't stand this coalition anymore, I'm leaving," the government is a minority government, yes, there is no possibility of creating an alternative coalition - he continued. - No, because that would be the end of PSL, there are sensible people and experienced politicians there. They surely know that a coalition with PiS would simply kill them, meaning they wouldn't survive it, nobody has ever survived a coalition with PiS - he went on to say, when asked about a potential alliance of PSL with PiS and Confederation.

20:05

Schetyna on a Joint Candidate for President from the Governing Coalition:

Such a Scenario is Possible.
- It depends on whether the democratic coalition, the October 15th coalition, will be able to build a community of candidates, meaning it will have an idea to ultimately have a single candidate in these elections, perhaps already in the first round. I believe the topic is up for discussion, and such a scenario is possible; it would very seriously integrate the October 15th coalition - said Grzegorz Schetyna in Polsat News, when asked if the presidential campaign would help or hinder the governing coalition. - If each of the parties has its own candidate, I also believe that by nominating candidates earlier, we should jointly commit that the one who achieves the best result in the first round will have the solidary support of all parties in the October 15th coalition - he continued. - Yes, I deeply believe so, he has huge chances - he went on to say, when asked if Rafał Trzaskowski would be the Civic Coalition's candidate.

20:09

Ardanowski:

Leaving PiS is Difficult, But the Party Has Many Flaws – Including a Lack of Coalition Capabilities
- My departure from PiS [...] is difficult because it's 23 years, I've been with this party from the very beginning, I am, in fact, considered a face of this party by some. But I also see many shortcomings [...], including a lack of coalition capabilities stemming from the fact that everyone fears PiS and the fate of those smaller parties, I recall Samoobrona, the League of Polish Families, Gowin – said Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - This is PiS's problem, not those parties' [...]. If we want to remove the current team – in my opinion, mismanaging state affairs, to put it very mildly, harming Poland – from power, we need to win the elections. Not to achieve a good result and claim it's a winning election. We need a parliamentary majority that will form a government – he continued.

20:15

Schetyna Comments on Duda's Absence from Police Day Celebrations:

A President Should Not Behave This Way.
- Certainly so, because there were no general nominations, and this July celebration is always a symbol where everyone meets, everyone takes the parade, there is the President, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Interior and Administration; it's always a very well-organized state ritual, of such good, pro-state behavior by all authorities - Grzegorz Schetyna told Polsat News when asked if the President's absence from Police Day was a conscious boycott. - I was astonished that the President, as journalists say or as leaks from the Presidential Chancellery suggest, is offended at the police for intervening to detain Kamiński and Wąsik - he continued. - I don't think that the answer to this rather efficient action by the police and SOP [Government Protection Bureau] should be the President turning his back on the police and boycotting their holiday. Yes [it is turning one's back on the police], it is very symbolic and unnecessary [...] a country's President, the head of state, should not behave this way. The police must not feel political pressure, differences, or political quarrels in any way - he went on to say.

20:15

Ardanowski on the PiS Presidential Candidate:

If He's Just Kaczyński's Anointed One, He'll Lose.
- In my opinion, no [the PiS presidential candidate has no chance of winning]. If it's a candidate anointed by President Kaczyński - even if he were a very brilliant person, I hope such a person will still appear - but if he were merely the chosen one of one political party, of a president who wants to conduct a casting and decide himself, then this person will be set up, I say this with regret, for slaughter. He might make it to the second round, chosen by the hard PiS electorate, but he will lose in the second round because the anti-PiS mechanism will kick in - said Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:23

Ardanowski on the right-wing candidate for president:

He must have broader support than just PiS.
- He [the presidential candidate] must be a person with much broader support on the Polish centre-right, not just relying on PiS itself. This candidate must be a candidate of a broader environment, not just PiS. Also those smaller right-wing parties, structures built from the ground up, which are disappointed with PiS… Also [my] future party, a social movement that is being created initially – said Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski in “Gość Wydarzeń” Polsat News.

20:40

Ardanowski:

Kaczyński's Circle Isolates Him from the World. PiS is His Private Party
- If PiS underwent a certain internal metamorphosis, which I asked for, begged for, implored for… Including [Chairman Kaczyński]. He doesn't want to talk. His inner circle is somehow isolating him from the world, or so it seems to me. He is convinced that without him, PiS will fall apart, everyone will devour each other, all these factions, he is the only unifying element - said Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - But if he doesn't want to listen to me, because I'm a peasant from the village, a member of parliament from the region, he can dismiss me, then let him listen to [...] well-wishers, intellectuals who are well-disposed towards the right, towards PiS, who are saying it directly: with Kaczyński, PiS will win nothing more - he continued. - This is Chairman Kaczyński's private party. It's a party that he treats as his property, and I'm afraid that even the thought might be born in his head that if this is my child and I were to leave, then perhaps this child should die - he stated.

Ardanowski:

The Polish People's Party Stands on Common Sense Foundations. I Am Glad They Firmly Defend Polish Interests
- The Polish People's Party (PSL) stands on common sense foundations. […] I am glad that the PSL firmly defends Polish interests. It is not easy for them, they are attacked. I used to be a great opponent of ZSL [the United People's Party, a predecessor to the PSL] […] however, at the moment I am also changing my mind a bit, because these are young people who, to a greater extent, considering the leftist, neo-Marxist narrative in Europe, seem to be more sensible. So I support them and I would like them to persevere in their values - said Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

Wójcik Accuses Tusk of 'Round-up' of Sovereign Poland MPs

- I believe that the status of Mr. MP Romanowski is clear. We know that today there is a sort of round-up of all parliamentarians from Sovereign Poland, which stems from a rather poor motivation of Donald Tusk, who genuinely hates Sovereign Poland – stated Michał Wójcik during the program "Pytanie Dnia" on TVP Info.

Wójcik on the Court's Decision Regarding Romanowski's Immunity:

It Was and Is a Disgrace to the Prosecutor's Office.

- It was and is a disgrace to the prosecutor's office, but they are pushing forward. Why? Because Donald Tusk returned from his holiday, he returned from the French Riviera or wherever he was, he rested, and he decided, we won't back down, we will go forward, and we will see what happens. In the end, it might be crashing into a wall and, for example, suspending Poland's membership rights in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe – said Michał Wójcik on TVP Info.
