At 10:00 AM, a closed-door meeting of the verification commission for Warsaw's reprivatization will begin. A press conference regarding decisions on Topiel 16 is scheduled for approximately 10:45 AM.

Also at 10:00 AM, the government will convene. Ministers will address, among other things, changes in pharmaceutical and postal law, as well as amendments to the act on counteracting money laundering. They will also hear information from the Minister of Agriculture regarding the losses caused by this year's drought.

„I have the impression that PO parliamentarians want to use the issue of flights as a kind of political fuel, to stir emotions among voters. It seems to me, that's how I interpret this stance as a lack of positive programmatic proposals. I would prefer that during the election campaign we discuss specific economic, social, and all other programs, but perhaps in this area, PO parliamentarians don't have much to present” - said Minister Michał Dworczyk on Radio Jedynka.

- He paid a very high price for it and behaved honorably here - said Łukasz Schreiber in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- As far as I know, he was forced. Surely the minister will not deny it? - the journalist pressed.

- Mr. Editor, he made the decision himself. Of course, there was discussion, but he decided to take such a step. Some respect is due for that too. That's what I think - Schreiber replied.

- I would like to start or open this bag from which all these positive opinions about Paweł Kukiz will spill out. Because please note that Paweł Kukiz has actually been faithful to what he says, probably for 20 years - stated Paweł Kukiz in an interview with Jan Wróbel on TOK FM. He added:

"He would like to 'de-concrete' the political scene, and I think he has found a good partner in the PSL, because we also believe that Poles do not have to be condemned to a choice between PiS and PO, they don't have to choose the lesser evil, because it's better to win a greater good. Therefore, what he proposed regarding the citizen's package, the economic package, which we have also filled with content, or the social one, all of this means that it turned out that these two political entities, on the one hand, the oldest party on the political scene, as we will soon be 125 years old, and on the other hand, the Kukiz'15 association, essentially an anti-system group, we are able to come to an agreement in order to change the Polish political scene."

- Listeners remember the slogans with which PiS went to the elections, and they certainly weren't villas for PLN 20,000. This party ran on completely opposite slogans, and reality showed that it is the complete opposite. And that's where the dissonance lies. Many people feel this deeply. Let's remember that Prime Minister Szydło's resignation and her political career, at least the governmental part of it, ended the moment she granted second salaries to her ministers. So what if it wasn't in the party's postulates when they went to the elections? However, it turned out to be scandalous, a huge affair, and it was illegal. The same applies here. Marshal Kuchciński's flights and all these perks that are an addition to their lives, as they themselves say, of the most important people in the state, are often simply illegal - stated Cezary Tomczyk in an interview with Jan Wróbel on TOK FM.

- I have no problem with Marshal Kuchciński using an official limousine. That's normal. He is the Marshal of the Senate. Marshal Kuchciński too. I have a problem with Marshal Kuchciński giving the plane to his wife and taking his family on board 25 times, and that is no longer normal, because it simply falls outside the bounds of the law - added the PO MP.

- As for the Senate, these talks are ongoing, and meetings concerning the Senate are also scheduled for tomorrow among all opposition forces - stated Cezary Tomczyk in an interview with Jan Wróbel on TOK FM. As the PO politician emphasized, the Senate is very important, but the Sejm is the priority.

"The Podkarpackie scandal is becoming increasingly mysterious. We have the third death, the third witness in the case. We have a witness who brought this matter to light. There are many questions. Why did he have to be transferred to a correctional facility if he could have been heard in Rzeszów? The court knew that two defendants were incarcerated in the same facility. This is such a mysterious case that we are dealing with the still unresolved matter of 4,000 tapes. This number is staggering. The practice of human trafficking lasted for 13 years, and one gets the impression that it operated under the cover of services or the state. To this day, we have no answer as to what happened to those tapes. On one of these tapes, the second highest-ranking person in the country, the former Marshal of the Sejm, was allegedly recorded. Power cannot be swept under the rug this time. We appeal. Stop keeping everything secret. Reveal what is happening" - said Grzegorz Furgo from Civic Platform (PO) at a press conference in the Sejm.

"We will submit a motion for a special session of the justice committee. This needs to be thoroughly investigated, and the role of each individual in this entire story must be known. Starting from the Prison Service, all the way to the Prosecutor General" - added Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska.

- The Polish People's Party has changed over these four years. Today, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz is the face of the PSL. If strong, solid lists are created, based on local MPs, entrepreneurs, active individuals, and local government officials, I believe this project can succeed. On Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the Presidential Palace, President Andrzej Duda will make a change in the composition of the Council of Ministers. The matter concerns the appointment of Mariusz Kamiński to the position of Head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA), who, by the decision of Prime Minister Morawiecki, is already performing duties in the ministry. The minister will continue to coordinate the work of the special services.

- 4 days ago in the Sejm, I called for the resignation of Sławomir Neumann following media publications that indicate, to put it mildly, far-reaching irregularities in his financial matters. We still haven't heard any response to these questions. A response to the question of where he got the 88,000 PLN which he deposited in cash into his account in 2015, or used to pay off credit cards and loans. We haven't received that answer. I remind you that this is the same year in which Neumann, as Deputy Minister of Health, took actions that resulted in prosecutorial charges for illegally favoring a private clinic. How is it possible that at the end of December he declares that he and his wife have 20,000 PLN, and then two days later his wife buys a car for 50,000 PLN, and this car is not even entered into the asset declaration. What important items related to the fulfillment of his parliamentary mandate did he buy in December before Christmas in perfumeries or liquor stores, paying for them with money from his parliamentary account, from the account for parliamentary activities, for his parliamentary office? Will this money be returned to Polish taxpayers? We still haven't received answers to these questions, and there is still no reaction from Grzegorz Schetyna to these actions, which may end up with prosecutorial charges, but it is already evident that they are highly unethical, and Poles should hear some explanations, and there should be a reaction from Schetyna, which we are waiting for and it's not happening. We will count down the days without this reaction. We will not allow the Civic Platform to not adhere to the high standards set by PiS - stated Marcin Horała at a briefing in the Sejm. As announced by the PiS MP, the board will be presented in the Sejm until the matter is resolved, until Grzegorz Schetyna reacts.

"The Deputy Minister of Agriculture presented information on the assessment of drought impact. Work by individual commissions in municipalities, which are quantifying the effects of the drought, is still ongoing. The complete report from individual municipalities has not yet been submitted, which is why we are appealing to the mayors to provide this information to the voivodes as quickly as possible, and the voivodes will then pass it on to the government. The government intends to support all individuals affected by the consequences of the drought through various financial instruments," said government spokesman Minister Piotr Müller at a press briefing.

All of this is increasingly translating into the reality we live in, into legislation, into new solutions. I want to encourage and invite everyone to a large, nationwide brainstorming session that will take place in mid-September and will concern an issue that we have been discussing very frequently in Poland and in Europe lately. This issue is water, the lack of water, water accessibility, and water as a fundamental source of life, needed for economic activities, and intermodal transportation connections. Water, which is becoming the number one topic” - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said during "GovTech Polska".

“Digitalization of public administration - in this sphere, I will not say we are leaders, nor are we at the very end. We are probably somewhere in the middle of the pack, but we aspire to be leaders, so that public administration in Poland connects more and more public services to its network, portals, and services, to be ergonomic, convenient, and friendly” - he added. 

- I think there is still hope. I am an optimist because this coalition, still European, has shown that sometimes it is possible. I am counting on political wisdom and political maturity to prevail, leading to joint lists for the Senate - said Katarzyna Piekarska in a conversation with Roch Kowalski on TOK FM's "Political Interview."

Over half of those surveyed believe that prosecutors should address the abuses related to the flights of former Sejm Marshal Marek Kuchciński – according to a telephone poll conducted by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24.

59% of respondents answered "yes" – 38% of those surveyed answered "definitely yes," and 21% answered "rather yes." 31% of respondents hold the opposite view – 16% answered "rather no," and 15% chose "definitely no." 10% of respondents selected the "Don't know/hard to say" option.

In the previous Kantar poll from July 15th, PiS had 42%, Civic Coalition - 27%, Kukiz'15 - 6%, Spring - 5%, Freedom - 3%, PSL - 3%, SLD - 2%, and Together - 2%.

The telephone survey was conducted on August 12-13 on a nationwide representative sample of individuals aged 18 and over. The sample size was 1003 people.

- If Minister Ziobro had honor, he would have resigned long ago. That's the difference in the quality of governance. Minister Ćwiąkalski, who was absolutely not directly responsible for such matters, resigned seeing his political responsibility as the minister overseeing the prison system - said Borys Budka in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Events and Opinions" on Polsat News.

“The biggest changes on the opposition's side, following the disintegration of the European Coalition. This risk, which the Polish People's Party undertook, proved misjudged. The PSL united the left with its decision, while [losing] itself” - commented the Kantar poll for “Fakty TVN” and TVN24 in an interview with Diana Rudnik on “Fakty po Faktach,” European Parliament member of the European Coalition, Radosław Sikorski.

„I hope this elementary self-preservation instinct will cause the opposition not to cut each other down [in the elections for] the Senate. We have single-member constituencies there, so the electoral law is absolutely unforgiving. The whole problem is that in this case, three would want it at once” - said Radosław Sikorski, a Member of the European Parliament for Civic Coalition, in an interview with Diana Rudnik on „Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24.
