„I believe that they [the PSL], pursuing the policy they are pursuing at the moment, will lose even more. Four weeks ago, Władek Kosiniak-Kamysz and I were jumping, holding hands and shouting ‘united opposition’. That was the biggest message” – said the leader of SLD, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, in an interview with Jacek Żakowski on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

„Władek Kosiniak seems to dislike everything and has some goal, which I actually don't know what it is” – he added.

"Certainly yes [there is a deadline], even though the elections have not been announced yet. We all expect them at the end of July or the beginning of August. I believe that the finalization of the entire structure we are working on must happen next week. It is the last Sejm session, it starts on Wednesday, and this is the time to conclude talks and make a decision" - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon". - I will be extending an invitation to the members of the European Coalition, because I believe that our result of 38.5% in the European elections in May this year is a good forecast and a good investment for the October outcome, and therefore I would want all those who formed this coalition to be part of the new one we are preparing. The question is whether everyone will want to accept the invitation. I believe it is possible" - added the PO chairman.

- I spoke yesterday [with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz] and I am scheduled to speak again today. We are refining our expectations and mutual assessments. We have cooperated closely for years and continue to do so. [An agreement] is not imminent because there still needs to be openness and clarification of details regarding the program. We are proponents of a programmatic basis for the coalition or cooperation between parties. It's no secret, and President Kosiniak speaks about it very openly, as do other PSL leaders, that they want to limit the European Coalition. They do not want to cooperate with the left - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon". - I won't hide the fact that there is no agreement from the PSL here, there is no acceptance of the previous composition of the European Coalition to simply repeat it. It's about the presence of the left. Doubts have emerged, but in my opinion, they are outside the debate and beyond the issue. Both Nowoczesna and Inicjatywa Polska, as well as Katarzyna Lubnauer and Barbara Nowacka, are part of the Civic Coalition. We ran together in the local elections, we campaigned in the European elections, and we will campaign in the parliamentary elections. This is beyond question - emphasized the PO chairman. - I will be very open to renewing the offer of cooperation once again, but if there is no positive response, then it will be the PSL's decision to go it alone - he stressed.

In the second tier of cities, improving life will be linked to job creation, both by public administration which will locate its offices there, but also by attracting investments that simply no longer fit into these main, large cities today. And finally, improving infrastructure, the quality of life through revitalization – stated Jadwiga Emilewicz in Chełmno at a conference concerning the Miasto Plus program. We mentioned that in large cities, this is connected with spatial order, spatial arrangement, and the organization of these city centers, as well as one of the slogans that appeared on our map – revitalization of large panel blocks. This means bringing back to society those residents who are now very elderly, live on the fourth floors, in buildings without elevators. In medium-sized cities, revitalization means new social, cultural, and recreational infrastructure, and finally, for the smallest ones, it means tackling the transportation problem: how to ensure that people can travel to and from these cities, potentially for work, how to make it enjoyable to go for a walk, how to make it a good place to live and spend time, and finally, how to create jobs. How to address the often double-digit unemployment in these islands, which demonstrates the sickness of the disconnect between large cities and the smallest ones in Poland, so that this unemployment simply ceases to exist – she added.

„We, the United Right camp, lost the elections in the cities. Both large and medium-sized ones. The results of the local government and European elections show that we can govern Poland without significant support in the cities. The question is, can one govern wisely and effectively in the long term without cities, without the intellectual capital, competence capital, and social capital accumulated there? That is why Porozumienie is preparing a proposal for a social contract between the United Right camp and the residents of large and medium-sized cities. We want to convince them that our camp has the best idea for Poland's development, which should unite forces beyond political divisions. Secondly, environmental and climate protection, ecology, the fight against plastic, the waste that is flooding us, but also taking care of water and ensuring that Poland does not dry up. Thirdly, health, which is in a catastrophic state today; after experiments, we must do everything so that people are not afraid to go to emergency rooms, so that they can easily see a specialist doctor within an acceptable timeframe. Fourthly, education, which has been... and today we have the best examples and effects of this, when teenagers with their dream schools cannot get into them because we have a double cohort. Fifthly, 'higher wages,' which Poles need to catch up with Europe. - Not everything can be accomplished at once. We managed to lower the retirement age. People said it couldn't be done. There are still those who shout: we will raise. At least 31 central government offices could potentially be located outside of Warsaw – these are the conclusions from the report "Conditions for the Relocation of Central Offices in Poland," prepared by experts at the request of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology. The head of the ministry presented the report in Chełm. - We are talking about approximately PLN 163.2 billion in 2017 and as much as PLN 202 billion in 2018. We want this money, instead of going to a narrow group of beneficiaries as before, to strengthen Polish companies - Emilewicz tells us during the program congress in Chełm. In mid-August, the ministry headed by Emilewicz will announce a tender for the largest solar installation in Poland, which is to be built by October on the roof of the ministry building at Plac 3 Krzyży in Warsaw. This, in turn, is to illustrate the changes accepted by the Council of Ministers as part of the so-called prosumer package, under which small companies will be able to generate electricity in micro-installations and benefit from the feed-in tariff system.
