We managed to confirm the authenticity of the poll – which is why we are publishing its results. The study indicates that a potential referendum would not be a marginal action by a handful of the most politically engaged Krakow residents. Almost half of the respondents – precisely 48.4 percent – are in favor of holding it. As many as 64.2 percent of those surveyed declare they would go to the polls if a referendum on recalling the president were actually held. Among respondents declaring participation in the referendum, 68.1 percent announce a vote 'for' recalling the president. 20.8 percent would be against, and 11.1 percent have not yet formed a defined stance.”

THE LARGEST SINCE THE 2008 CRISIS - RZ (Rzeczpospolita): “Last year's changes at Poczta Polska (Polish Post) pushed the reported group layoff statistics to their highest level since the global financial crisis of 2008-2009. Group layoffs reported to labor offices in 2025 covered over 97,600 employees. This is almost three times more than in 2024, which was already a period of the largest employment cuts since the pandemic and the most since the global financial crisis of 2008-2009. This sharp increase resulted from the record scale of layoffs reported in March. They were to affect over 56,300 people (i.e., more than half more than in the entire year 2024), mainly as a result of actions by one employer – Poczta Polska, specifically the Group Termination of Employment Notices submitted by them, which concerned all 51,600 employees.
