Abandoning vigilance towards Russia would be a crime against Polish interests. I already see temptations among some right-wingers to go down this path, but I hope it will never be the dominant course. In essence, the entire German political scene has a different approach to Russia than we do. This was revealed by Angela Merkel's recent accounts that in 2021 it was necessary to come to an agreement with Putin. But German nationalists seem to be particularly prone to being pro-Russian.
