Despite this, the Ministry of Education is introducing a central ban on smartphone use in primary schools starting September 1st. Why? Because it's easier to maintain discipline in lessons this way, people want it, and the Prime Minister too. Interestingly, the changes will only affect public schools. The phone ban in schools is the third intervention by Prime Minister Donald Tusk in educational policy. First, there was the abolition of homework, then the resignation from compulsory health education, and now – the regulation of rules for using phones in classrooms and corridors. So far, none of these have ended well for either the children or the school staff”.
