- The Constitutional Tribunal stands at the very top; it is de facto the most important constitutional court, the most important court in Poland, because it resolves the major disputes that can arise between branches of power. It is always that safeguard for the citizen to whom they can appeal. It does not exist. Today, it does not exist. Today, this safeguard is gone - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24.

- Only a constitutional reset can fix this situation - he continued.

- A true constitutional reset, that is the PSL's proposal, let's rewrite the Act on the Constitutional Tribunal from scratch, because everything else is just patching up what is - he went on to say.

- This solution requires the opposition's engagement. The opposition and the president do not want a repaired judiciary; they want chaos and disarray because they created it, they have settled into it, and they feel safe within it - he added.
